This floor lamp is such a fun way to change up the look and feel of a room without having to do much. I love being able to switch between different colors depending on the mood. The slim design is great for placing in a corner without taking up a ton of space. I also love that you can control it through the app.

Works, but poor build quality
The light turns on and works with the app, but the build quality is very disappointing. None of the internal screws tightened properly, leaving the lamp crooked and loose. Despite my attempts to adjust it, I couldn’t get it to stand straight or look presentable.
It feels like a cheaply made product you would expect from Temu.
I expected much better and would not recommend this lamp.

I like that I can create different shades and warm colors which is what I had envisioned. I only wish Govee offered different sizes on the bar, I think the bar is small. I tried placing it a bit higher and it didn’t look good. I love it so far!

The picture in the ad is deceptive about how bright it is. It’s a neat lamp, but severely lacking in brightness. At its highest setting it’s about 30-50% of where I’d like it to be. Will probably return because the pictures were deceiving. If you just want a mood light the build quality seems solid, but if you actually want any sort of illumination, you should probably look elsewhere.

What I’ve wanted for years, I finally found!
It’s hard for me to wake up without seeing the sunrise through my window, especially during fall and winter. This lamp has an amazing feature that allows me to set a time for the light to gradually turn on, imitating the sunrise, and it helps me a lot.
I love it!!! I would definitely recommend this lamp to people like me who find that sunrise light helps them wake up in the morning.

These lights are absolutely amazing. Purchased 2 of them for my office workspace and it makes me feel like im in a twilight zone. Aesthetically pleasing and also love the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi options. Very user friendly and easy to set up. Would 10/10 recommend if you want to add a great ambience to your living/work space.

I absolutely love this Govee LED floor lamp! I bought it to add pink ambient lighting to my beauty room and it completely transformed the space. This lamp is awesome! Initially, I was hesitant to purchase because it doesn't fit my aesthetic, like, at all. But as it was on sale and intrigued me, and my son needs some more light in his room, I decided to get it for him. I thought he would love the ability to change the colors, even if the lamp itself looks a little weird.
As soon as I started putting it together, my opinion changed. It is high quality, straightforward, and seamless (don't tighten the screws until you've placed them all for the section you are working on, because with a little patience and deliberation it is possible to get the pieces to line up PERFECTLY). The construction is very sturdy, the gold finish I opted for is elegant, and the design is minimal and unobtrusive. The app is very user friendly and has endless possibilities for light configurations.
My 5 year old son was so excited. After placing it in his new room and playing around on the app for a few, he selected "Dance" mode and we had a celebratory dance party. ☺️ Then we switched to the nightlight setting, which is 👌 just right, and he snuggled into bed a very happy boy.
Now I just hope this lamp goes on sale again sometime so I can buy at least 2 more for the main room of our apartment.

I love this addition to my living room. I didn’t realize how many different colorway options you can choose from on the Govee app. You can even create your own color scheme or have it play along to music, etc. from the app, you can also turn the light on and off or also has a button. The set up was very simple and only took about eight minutes. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more Govee products.

After reading the reviews and seeing some of the reviews pictures and videos I was immediately sold. But when it arrived I was throughly impressed!! The navy/blue looks great, it pairs so well with the color scheme of my condo. I love the many effects/scenes on the app, it allows you to control it directly from your phone, it was easy to assemble; pairs well with any music playing. Great purchase and over all!

i am SO happy with this purchase! I had been needing some adjustable lighting in my bedroom and living room (big light is a no no), and i saw someone mention these floor lamps on tik tok and i had to check them out. IT IS SO WORTH IT.
assembly was incredibly easy and took maybe 10 minutes at most. putting the light strip in was my favorite part. so satisfying. the light is super bright and is consistent down the strip, there's no weird spacing between the lights like a lot of LED strips have. I love the colors, they are so vibrant and easily customizable. you can even make a color of your own and save it!
i love that the cord has some good length to it. so if your outlet is far from where your lamp will go, it can reach! it also has a foot button so you can easily click it on or off without using the app. the foot button also has a sticky pad under it so you can stick it to your hardwood floors!
the app is super easy to use. it has so many features for you to explore so you can find exactly the lighting you need. you can also set the lamp to turn on and off at certain times, or have the light slowly turn on in the mornings and slowly turn off at night. the response time between the app and the light is immediate, which i was super impressed by. you're able to control every lamp you have right from the app, and can switch between lamps with ease.
i have only had mine for 2ish weeks but i'm absolutely in love with them!

I’m obsessed with this light. It syncs with Alexa, dances along to my music like it’s at a tiny rave, and lets me change the colors to match whatever mood I’m in (or whatever chaos I’m feeling that day). It’s ridiculously fun but also actually useful for lighting the room. If you want a lamp that does more than just sit there and exist, this is it. Highly recommend! 💡🎶

These color-changing floor lamps are such a great addition to my son’s room! They work perfectly with Alexa, so he can control the colors and brightness just by using his voice — which he loves. I’ve been using the Govee RGBIC Floor Lamps for a few years now, and I’m currently up to five of them spread throughout my home. That alone should give you an idea of how much I love these lights. I started with one in my living room to see how I liked it, and now they’ve become a core part of my lighting setup in multiple rooms. Every time I’ve bought a new one, I’ve been reminded of how impressive these really are.
First off, they look fantastic. The slim, minimalist design lets them tuck neatly into corners without taking up space or drawing attention to themselves—until you turn them on, that is. Then they become the focal point of the whole room. The RGBIC lighting is what really sets them apart. Each segment of the lamp can display different colors at the same time, which creates these smooth, dynamic lighting effects that look a lot more high-end than the price tag would suggest.
The light is bright enough to set the mood in a room but never harsh. I’ve used them as ambient lighting behind furniture, accent lighting for game nights or movie time, and even just soft background light while reading or relaxing. Because of the slim profile, they work well in corners where standard lamps would look bulky or awkward. And when you have more than one in a room—or in nearby rooms—you can sync them up in the Govee app to create a coordinated lighting setup that looks incredible.
Speaking of the app, it’s excellent. You get full control over colors, brightness, speed, and effects. There are tons of preset scenes to choose from, or you can dive into DIY mode and create your own patterns. You can also schedule lighting changes, sync them with music, or pair them with your other Govee devices for even more customization. I use Alexa for voice control too, and that works flawlessly.
I’ve had the first lamp for about three years now, and it still performs just like it did on day one. No flickering, no color fade, no weird noises—just reliable, vibrant light. All five of mine have been consistently solid. Govee’s build quality has really impressed me across the board, and these lamps are no exception.
Whether you’re decking out a gaming space, adding some personality to a living room, or just want lighting that does more than the usual on/off routine, this lamp delivers. The fact that I’ve bought five (and am honestly thinking about getting a sixth) says it all. Great value, great performance, and just a really fun, beautiful addition to any room.

Many of you are wondering about the difference between this Govee Corner Floor Lamp (which I'll call the CFL) and the more expensive Lyra. I got both, so let's talk about them. And the differences are more than the similarities.
Similarities
1. Both lights seem to share about the same brightness. I know the specs say the Lyra has more lumens, but in person at max brightness, they both look about the same.
Differences
1. The Lyra looks much nicer with a bit more weight, is silver, and comes with a remote that magnetizes to the unit. Itooks pretty classy actually. The remote let's you turn it off/on, adjust brightness, and switch through basic colors. The CFL is very lightweight and has no physical switches other than an on/off button. The controller on the CFL is inconveniently placed on the floor along the power cord.
2. The Lyra seems to offer a few more prebuilt "Scenes" than the CFL. Not that you'll want to use most of them. But if you like scenes...
3. About those Scenes, the Lyra seems to operate at a much smoother, slower pace. Which is what you'd want. For some reason, the CFL operates the same patterns at a much faster pace, leaving subtle light color changes (like gradient like shifts, cherry blossom drops, etc) looking jerky and just plain terrible. As in, not usable for ambiance. This seems to be a thing that plagues a number of other Govee lights I have. Not sure if its a fault in manufacturing, a fault in the firmware, but I've seen a number of other folks ask about the light transition speeds too. Annoyingly, Govee still hasn't added the ability to adjust the speed of the scenes on any device I've used, let alone these two corner lamps.
4. The LED strip on the Lyra appears to have a denser array if LED modules than the CFL. This means you can see the individual LEDs on the CFL if you look at the light, but not so much on the Lyra.
5. On the Lyra, all the Scenes where something is falling, such as a meteor or leaves, has the light emulate from the top then flow to the bottom. On the CFL, most of the scenes are upside down. Example, the Fireworks Scene on the Lyra has the lights starting on the bottom then shoot upwards. On the CFL, the lights start at the top and shoot downward. This is the oddest problem with the CFL, and the reason for 2 stars. Not sure if this is a manufacturer issue (where the LED strip was made backwards, or the firmware needs fixing. It is impossible for the consumer to assemble upside down as only one end has the electrical plug for the lights.
6. Plan about 10 minutes to assemble either light. You'll have a bunch of tiny screws, but pretty simple. Instructions are good. That said, you can tell the construction of the Lyra is higher quality than the CFL.
Final Review:
The Corner Floor Lamp is a nice idea, but terribly overpriced for what you get. That said, the Lyra costs about 50% more, but at least is enjoyable to use and the light patterns work smoothly and correctly.
Overall, I do not recommend buying the Corner Floor Lamp. The LED functionality is not enjoyable and works in the wrong direction. Buy the Lyra or find another competing product out there at a lower price.
