GOVEE does it again - Very cool product
Cool product and great value for the money. The battery seems to last quite a long time. I use this to sync my music to the Govee RGBIC lights in my garage

USB-C Music Sync Box
Connects all your Govee products to this sync box that has microphones all over it. Then you are able to sync it to the noises created around the box and will cause the lights to do awesome things! Well worth it.

Syncing across multiple lights is disappointing
I purchased this to sync all of the lights in my living/dining/kitchen to music. I have an open floor plan home where all of the rooms are all essentially one.
My setup: 6 Govee light bars as above cabinet lights, one Govee bulb in my living room and one Govee bulb in my dining room.
More than 50% of the time not all of them connect, and if they do it takes 4-5 minutes of holding the app open monitoring the device connections.

Sync Lights and Music with Ease
I purchased this as a solution to sync my plethora of Govee lights with music. I have this sync box in our finished basement. It's a great tool when hosting parties. I also have the outdoor version of this for syncing my Permanent Outdoor Lights to holiday music.

awesome addition to your Govee lights – make 'em dance !
I have many Govee products and have started ordering some of their lighting offerings, so I thought I'd try out this product to see how it integrates with the lights.
First of all, this thing is really small – 2 3/4" diam x 7/8" tall ! It looks like a small hockey puck and weighs only 78g ; for comparison my AirPods 2 and case weigh 48g.
As far as functionality, it's really impressive how well this little box controls the light strings I have – the music sync is right on the money. And the device comes with its own light settings which are different from the strings themselves, so it's very easy to set up some interesting light pattern. There are a lot of great choices which can be customized.
There are other ways to control them too, like automations or putting the lights the lights on a schedule.
It's pretty cool that when you turn on the box it takes control of the lights right away, switching to its colors and pattern. Then when you turn it off, it gives control back to the lights, and they switch to their programmed pattern – all of this without needing to use the app. And it also has a built-in battery so it's able to control devices away from power !
The only drawback I have seen is that the power indicator is right on top of the button you press to turn off/on. So you can't actually see the light when you're trying to turn it on or off !
If you have some Govee lights and are interested in doing any level of music sync, then you must get this. It's a relatively cheap addition which will supercharge your Govee lights.

Works great, but has flaws
Works better than the mic that came with my Govee string lights. I’m currently using this to run Govee string lights and two sets of tape lights. The music sync is dead on! The app is awesome and has many options. But there are flaws. I wanted to run a charging cable to the unit so that it would charge constantly and never have to be unplugged. The problem with this is that the unit can only charge if it is on. It cannot charge with the unit turned off. In that situation, depending upon how are you have your light set up, the lights also will never turn off unless you kill the power to your lights. I was able to rectify that situation with a smart switch to each light. If they would just fix that one problem, I would’ve given this a five star rating. Besides that, it is well worth it if you are trying to get all of your Govee lights to sync to music as dead on as possible!

Sync up and party!
The name speaks for itself, anything Govee is awesome. Took less than a minute to sync up all my Govee devices now I no longer have to switch between light to light to get the same effect. A must have to add to your Govee collection.

If your a fan of syncing music and Govee RGB/RGBIC lights to enhance the moment, you must purchase this. Sync up to 7 different lights and choose between 22 music modes, with a variety of options on the majority of them. Connection is Bluetooth, rechargeable battery, so it's portable of you've got lights outside, or inside this had got you covered. Video attached shows the different options you can select.

Cool, but wish for more updates and normal scenes not just music
I’m a big fan of Govee products. I have over 25 of their products from LED light strips to night stands and floor lamps. I always wanted a simple way besides grouping them in software to trigger scenes across multiple devices. This does it, but only for music modes. I personally don’t use music mode often and hope they expand upon this concept with other modes.
When I press the button once it goes into the defined music modes with the selected lights. When I press it again they turn back to standard lighting.
Neat idea and eliminates the need to use IFTT and software buttons which have more control and are easier to setup than purchasing multiple of these for different scenes.
The features this device accomplishes can also be done easily in the Govee App by grouping them together.
Very novel enhancement to your Govee setup if you have multiple devices.
