Stereo issues

This stereo was bought for a gift & just given a week ago. There is an issue with the stereo, there is a crackle in one of the speakers. Would like to know if there’s anyway of returning it?

Perfect

A stereo for the classroom. This worked wonderfully. Picks up great radio stations as well as using CDs. A good value for the price, nice and compact and durable.

Decent Boombox for the Price

This review is for the 'GPX, Inc. Portable Top-Loading CD Boombox with AM/FM Radio and 3.5mm Line In for MP3 Device - Red'. The compact size is great for traveling (if so choose). There were a few key features that the boobox lacked:

1) You cannot program radio stations. That would have been helpful for those who listen to various stations. There is a Program feature - however, it only works for the CDs (which I found quite odd). I included image of those instructions.

2) The radio tuning knob (on the top right of the radio) is very sensitive. You have to turn the knob extremely slow as it moves from station to station quite rapidly.

Overall, the boombox is decent - for the price paid (less than $30).

Great for the drive in

Bought this stereo for our local drive in movie theater. I don’t like using my car radio because of my battery so I wanted to buy an old fashioned boombox/ radio. The sound is good enough for me. Great for a picnic or just getting some music around the house. I will say the only complain I have is it was really really hard to open the battery compartment. I unscrewed the 3 screws that were around the battery compartment and it would not budge. I thought maybe I’m supposed to unscrew the two on the side tried that and nearly had the stereo open in half. Put the screws back on and kept the 3 around the compartment out. I had to use a pocket knife to force it open. I mean eventually it did open but damn I did not think it would be such a struggle. So just be prepared to use your force. Other than that works great sound is great volume is great.

It stops/glitches sometimes

Sometimes near the end of the album it might skip or stop completely but for the price it’s very good, works well with the cord or batteries. Very good for the price

i cant seem to find a way to turn it off other than unplugging it

the sound quality is pretty good but i threw away the manual and i cant seem to fond out how to turn it off. it has a p button which in my eyes means power but nothing happens

Not bad for the price

It serves it’s purpose. No complaints right now.

overall this product is worth the money paid, although the volume and tune knob are quite touchy. but overall sounds is good and clear

ps. i use this as my work radio... it’s been used in the back of a kitchen to my small office that i am not working in. volume levels work for both!! :)

Can’t get the cd to work and no aux plug came with it

Battery acid leaking out

I'm very disappointed. This was bought as a Christmas gift. When my daughter opened it, there was battery acid leaking from the battery compartment and all down the side. There were no batteries, just acid. I believe I received a used cd player. Not happy.

CD player DOA after 1 day

I purchased this CD boom box for convenience of having a CD player playing background music for my baby. While the appearance is nice, a CD will only play through 1x then it malfunctions, no longer reading any CD's. I submitted for a replacement and upon receiving the replacement, the same exact problem occurred; cd played for approximately 4 hours then malfunctioned. I do not recommend this product if you are wanting a academy player.
