I am so happy with this purchase. It has an am/fm radio which has great sound quality. It is very sturdy and well made.

You can record or play tapes with it. I have cassettes with relatives voices that have since passed away. I love to hear their voices. We didn't have modern technology when they were alive, so this is all I left of them.

It is easy to use. It takes batteries or you can charge it with the included cord. It would make a great Christmas gift and won't break your budget.

Great little retro player!

I really like the compact size and simple design. The cassette player works well, and having AM/FM radio, recording, and a detachable microphone makes it more versatile than I expected. I also like that it can run on batteries or USB power, which is convenient at home or while traveling. My daughter loves to record her singing skills with it!!

A fun little device for anyone who enjoys cassettes and a bit of nostalgia!

Players doesn’t work.

I bought this cassette player. The radio is too static no matter what channel you listen to. I try to play tapes, but they drag… even though you have an antenna it still doesn’t work … it’s a cute little radio with a cassette player in it. It’s just sad. It doesn’t work that well..

The function I need it for doesn’t work from day 1!

I bought this to record tapes to my daughter that doesn’t talk to me. Long story and ultimately I have no way to talk to her so I record tapes and I sent her player and tapes for her to hopefully listen to…. And then bought myself a recorder to record more tapes to send And when I went to record That’s the function that of course doesn’t work!! So very disappointed

It doesn’t work, waste of my money

It barely works if at all, the radio is constantly cutting out and I out brand new batteries in it and everything but the radio just cuts out and completely stops and the cassette player and recorder don’t work I got this so I could record cassettes and it can’t even do that, a couple minutes after the video it stopped working completely.

Gracioso CR-318

Gracioso CR-318 is a pretty nice little MONO AM/FM/cassette tape player & recorder, sound quality is good for a unit of this size, cassette record quality is so-so (as expected) but usable. Overall it's decent, wish it was stereo instead of mono.

Easy way to digitize cassette tapes

This cassette player has a digital readout and an easy way to digitize cassettes to the TF card. The player works just like I remember from old players I had as a teenager. If you have old tapes, this is a great buy.

If you are looking for a tape player that will eat your favorite cassette tapes and give you the sound quality that only Yoko Ono can appreciate, then this is your Walkman! Short of that, save your money and buy something that actually works for longer than two weeks.

Sound quality fell immediately

I've only had this cassette player for less than two days and the quality of sound immediately dropped. It started of distorting the sound of my tapes then not playing them at all. Even through headphones the skipping/static-y noise was overwhelming the music and just overall uncomfortable sounding. Super disappointed considering it has such great reviews.

Neat little cassette "Walkman"

Having had this cassette player for about a week, so far so good! It does everything I expect of it: recording and playing tapes is a breeze, and the radio is functional as well. It comes in the box with a pair of regular old earbuds, as well as an external microphone and USB cable. For the price, it's definitely competitive as a contemporary portable cassette player. Would recommend.

Garbage

I wasted a blank tape recording it on this piece of junk. I used my auxiliary cord to record with.

The player jammed up in the middle of recording and then started back up. The volume dial is so sensitive and frustrating; barely touch it and the sound goes away. The audio quality is just horrible. A string and a cup sound better than this waste of space.

Love this player!!

So originally I was going to leave 3 stars because after around 2 weeks of me using it I started having some really bad problems with It but I reached out to customer service and a amazing woman named Ivy helped me get a replacement within 4 days and this one is working perfectly fine. 10/10 for customer service

Worked fine for about 1 hour

Product worked for a short while, noticed it made this sound and wouldn’t play the tape right on one instance and then continued working for a shorter while. Soon after, this sound is pretty much all this little piece of junk can produce.

Broke 15 minutes after playing a tape

After playing it for about 15 minutes, it became unceasingly harder to close with a tape, and when I opened it, this piece spit out. It still works, but it seems dodgy.

I'll return this and get another / better one.

Audio play back is fantastic. Sounds like when the tapes were new!!!

Used AA batteries. Batteries last a long time using Duracell batteries.

Great device! Play, Record, Earbuds, plug-in Mic.

This is just a great mini cassette recorder player. Check my video which pretty much speaks to the features of this device. It feels solid, all the buttons and switches are nice and tight not the least bit cheap. It comes with a plug-in mini boom mic for interviewing and also a pair of plug-in earbuds with a stop start pause function. The radio is fantastic. Both AM and FM come in really clearly and the radio I wasn't even bargaining for in the purchase. I just don't see how you'd possibly be disappointed with this!

It's not a Sony, BUT

This is a replacement for an original Sony Walkman, while it maybe a lesser quality it's unbelievable that this could even be made for under $35.00. Although you gve up an auto reverse on the tape player you gain a surprisingly acceptable external speaker to share the listening experience, as well as added headphones and a USB power cord to use without batteries. I am more than satisfied with thus little unit and therefore highly recommend it. Great job on the design and quality. The life span of this little gem is the only thing I cannot attest to as of yet. For the price, how can you go wrong. YOU CAN'T.

After just two months

After just 2 months this is what you get when pushing any of the buttons in. Tried the radio and the same affect happens. Not very happy at all.

Excellent portable cassette player!

I bought this to play cassettes at work. I was a teenager in the 1980s and I still have ALL my cassettes. I wanted a way to play them without having to setup a big system. This cassette player hooks up to my Dewalt speaker and also is powered through the same Dewalt unit through a power cord that came with the player. It also came with the 1/8th inch audio cord used to connect for sound. The cassette player playes great, all the features work perfectly and it even has AM/FM RADIO.

Stopped recording and now squeals during playback

After 2 months of light use, it stopped recording and squeals on playback. I would like to exchange it, but I am past the return window. I am hoping I could still exchange it because maybe I just got a bad one.

Daughter LOVES it! Great price, win win ;)

Bought for my 12 year old daughter and she absolutely LOVES it! She takes it everywhere and the kids are so intrigued by it lol. They think it’s a new invention haha! Even adults compliment her. My daughter is into everything retro so this made her Christmas perfect :) the sound quality is great and I love that she can either plug it in for power or use batteries. The radio works great too, just make sure the antenna is pulled up all the way. We haven’t tested the recording yet, need to find some blank cassettes first and I would like to get her a mic for it. I will gladly update when we do! The only downside is having to find cassettes at a decent price that aren’t beat up. Recommending that when you buy your cassettes- ask the seller if the tapes have been checked and listened to. Anyone that won’t take returns, don’t buy from them. Hope this helps someone!

DC power voltage listed is incorrect

The description reads- "Only a 5V plug is needed when there is a power supply, and 2 AA batteries can be used when there is no power supply."

The player has 4.5V stamped into the side next to the hole where the DC plug goes and a 5V power supply that I bought for it doesn't fit

Immediately had to buy a cleaner

I bought this Walkman for the features such as the battery/plug power options and the speaker on the front and all of those work great! The problem is that the Walkman itself arrived with a dirty head that is distorting the sound of all cassette tapes I've tried to play in it. Basically this tape deck is great if you want your music to sound like it's being played out of the speaker of a haunted doll. I've ordered a head cleaning kit and am hoping that helps so I don't have to exchange the Walkman itself
