A Thocky, Unique Looking 60% Keyboard

This is the first 60% keyboard I've seen that actually has arrow keys, and honestly, that was the biggest deciding factor for me. I love my arrow keys, so being able to keep that on a 60% felt very convenient for my needs or else I would've back to a 75% or TKL. The alien design is another thing that immediately caught my attention. The side and front lighting on it really brings the theme to life as well. It's definitely a unique look compared to a lot of other keyboards I've come across.

I wasn't a fan of the clear keycaps, so I swapped them out for Venom V2 keycaps from XVXchannel. I think the Venom keycaps complements the overall aesthetic much better and enhances that alien look it has. As for the typing, the keys feel nice to type on and has thocky sound that makes typing sound great. It's not as deep as a mechanical keyboard, but it's close enough for me to enjoy it.

When it comes to the software, I like that they give you the decision to choose from using their dedicated app and a web based browser option. So, if you don't want another program constantly running—or just don't want to download another program to save storage space—then you can simple use the browser version to configure the keyboard and then forget about it. The software itself offers a lot of customization. You can adjust the RGB lighting, keybinds, input sensitivity, and several other settings.

So far, I haven't experience any issues with double presses, and the RGB has been working without any problems. However, I did run into an issue when importing a profile configuration. After importing a profile, it disabled Rapid Trigger for that profile configuration. Unfortunately, the only way to fix it was to factor reset the entire keyboard. I wanted a casual and gaming profile, and since each profile has it's own default settings, it would've been a big convenience to just copy over all the adjustments from one to the other and tweak it from there. Hopefully that gets fixed in a future update.

Overall, I've been enjoying my experience. It feels good to type on, and is aesthetically pleasing to look at. For the price, I feel they should a bit faster with the updates for issues—I've had mines for 3 months now, and the profile issue still hasn't been fixed or acknowledged. It's not a deal breaker for me, but It's definitely something I'd like to see addressed in a future update.

Great keyboard with some concerning cons

Hands down I’ll say this is 100% the best keyboard I’ve ever used and heard. But there are some cons.

For starters the frame isn’t even, so when it lays on my desk it doesn’t sit flat. There also isn’t any wireless connectivity; if I’m paying $200 for a keyboard I’m expecting it to have wireless connectivity at least, and last the function keys don’t work. I tend to the use tilde key a lot (~) but there isn’t any shortcut to use it.

In conclusion I’d say buy this if you’re in love with the atheistic but this should be a $150 keyboard max.

Don't order this

On their website they show the v60 pro comes with extra keyscaps and some accessories like a key puller etc but this doesn't not come with any of that. Product doesn't work properly, sticky keys, configuration is a nightmare, not responsive. You can't download software to program you just have to use there website every single time and if you don't have an over head light it's impossible to see the keys, the under lights show but you see the letters as they are in black Very disappointed

Love the 60%!

Absolutely obsessed with this keyboard! I love the UI and how the keyboard it self feels. The sound is quite thocky and if I’m not careful I’ll fall off the edges because this keyboard is very touchy. 🤣 quality is great too!

Very worth it, great company.

This is my first premium keyboard. And honestly it’s well worth the money (at least In my opinion). I love the aluminum alloy frame, and the weight is nice and hefty perfect for me. I like the sexy stone/meteorite texture on the frame & The sound the keys make is extremely pleasing to my ears and they’re very quiet which is a bonus for me. (Except the space bar, It’s louder than the rest of the keys.) and with all of that. it’s also got everything you’ll need for most games. Rapid Trigger. Snap tap (SOCD). 8k hz polling rate. And overall good quality of life options within their own software on their website. I personally recommend this keyboard and company in general. Great experience overall ^^

Keyboard Performs Well, Condition Was Concerning

The keyboard itself performs well and meets my expectations. However, the unit I received appeared to have been previously opened or handled, as it contained visible pet hair and had an unpleasant odor upon arrival. I contacted customer service regarding the condition of the product, but the resolution offered did not address my concerns. While I am satisfied with the keyboard’s performance, I was disappointed with the condition in which it was received.

One of the best gaming keyboards

The positives:

- It's a good keyboard, I like the feel of it when typing.

- The sound it makes is very pleasant.

- It works perfectly for gaming.

- The design is unique and visually appealing.

- The pressure sensitivity is adjustable and works very well.

The negatives:

- The software is accessed through Chrome.

- The "Handle Mode" function doesn't work (I can't find a guide for configuring or activating it).

Conclusions:

- I'm keeping the keyboard; I really like its design and it works very well.

- I hope they improve it or create installable software for its configuration.

- I would have liked them to add a set of transparent keycaps.

Great sounding. Doesn't need modding. Incredibly fast for gaming.

I love this keyboard, I've tried Many hall effect keyboards including wooting. This is my favorite. It's incredibly smooth and sounds amazing. I would recommend added ABS + PC keycaps to make it sound even better.

Disappointed

Wrist rest not included, I like the aluminum base but the carbon material felt cheap, software is very hard to download not user friendly. For $200 on a keyboard I expect better quality. Right after I bought it too it went on sale. Next keyboard I get will be with Logitech.

worth it

The difference between this Razer Huntsman Mini and this one is huge in games like Valorant and Overwatch. Highly recommended. It feels like great quality.

Quality ! 10/10

This keyboard is a 10/10 for me. if you’ve been on the fence about it, just buy it. you won’t regret it.

Not only is the software for this thing good, the attention to detail & amount of thought that was put into this makes me want to buy a second one.

Its expensive but it is very nice and feels great to use, the customizable button depth is a very useful feature.

Awesome Gaming Keyboard! Keys Are Like Butter!

I recently got the GravaStar Mercury V60 Pro 60% HE Magnetic Gaming Keyboard, and I’m absolutely blown away by its performance and build quality. This keyboard is a game-changer for both casual and competitive gamers alike.

The true 8kHz polling rate and ultra-low 0.125ms latency provide incredibly fast and responsive key inputs, giving me a serious edge in fast-paced games. The dynamic rapid trigger and the 0.005mm adjustable actuation allow for precise customization, helping me fine-tune the keyboard exactly to my playing style and preferences.

The full aluminum frame not only looks sleek and premium but also adds solid durability, making it feel like a high-end piece of hardware that can withstand intense gaming sessions without any flex or wobble.

I love the compact 60% layout—it frees up a lot of desk space while retaining all the essential keys, perfect for a clean and efficient gaming setup. The magnetic switch design also makes it easy to swap out switches for different feels, which is a fantastic feature for enthusiasts who like to experiment.

Overall, the GravaStar Mercury V60 Pro delivers lightning-fast performance, excellent customization, and a premium build. It’s perfect for anyone serious about their gaming gear.

Alien Keyboard

What an awesome keyboard. The design and sound are perfect. I made a small change and had to get some matching theme keycaps.

Beautiful Super High Performance Wired Keyboard

If you're a gamer looking for the fastest keyboard out there or you just like really beautiful keyboards then this is a must have. This keyboard is wired because that is the only way to give performance as fast as the keys can deliver. The keys are fully adjustable meaning you can adjust when in the stroke they actuate. There is a built in web interface so no more dealing with software. The chassis is also a super nice very heavy aluminum. You absolutely wont be disappointed with this unit.

BMLi

I love the speed, my fingers now fear their own clumsiness. Not even kidding! :D

If you’ve ever wished your keyboard could read your intentions faster than your teammates, the Mercury V60 Pro gets pretty close. The Hall effect magnetic switches feel smooth and consistent, and the rapid trigger feature makes repeated taps and movement adjustments feel almost unfair in the best way. It’s a 60 percent board, so it keeps your mouse space wide open, and the aluminum chassis makes it feel rock solid with zero flex. The advertised 8kHz polling and ultra-low latency translate into a crisp, immediate response that’s noticeable when you’re doing quick bursts of movement or trying to time perfect counter-strafes.

The flip side of all that speed is that you may need to spend time in software dialing in actuation distance and trigger behavior. The extremely fine actuation adjustment is cool, but too sensitive can make casual typing feel like you’re setting off keys by thinking about them. Hot-swap support is a nice bonus for customization, though with Hall effect boards the “swap” ecosystem can be more specific than traditional mechanical switches. RGB looks great, but if you’re not into bright lighting, you’ll probably turn it down because it can dominate a dark room like a tiny keyboard nightclub.

Good Things

👍 Rapid Trigger feels excellent for fast movement and repeated inputs

👍 Solid aluminum frame, sturdy and premium in hand

👍 Very customizable actuation for different games and preferences

👍 Compact 60 percent footprint frees up desk space

Bad Things

👎 Requires tuning to avoid accidental presses, especially for typing

👎 60 percent layout isn’t ideal for productivity without shortcuts memorized

👎 Hot-swap options can be more limited depending on switch compatibility

👎 RGB can be intense if you prefer subtle lighting

The Fat Rancher

Thocky!

This is a really nice looking keyboard, with the usual Gravastar bells and whistles.

The GravaStar "Mercury V60 Pro 60% HE Magnetic Gaming Keyboard" is a small sized (60%) keyboard with no 10-key keypad. It is strickly USB C connected, and has the usual Gravastar lighting effects.

What is truly unique about this keyboard is the ability to customize its response via a web application. Regardless of how you set it up, it has a satisfying "thocky" sound so everyone knows your gaming (or working).

The CNC machined frame is solid, and the foot pads have enough grip so that your keyboard isn't dancing about.

The V60 arrives in a handsome box with key contact removal tools, USB C cord, spare contacts and a nifty cleaning brush. This product is VERY giftworthy.

Best of all, it has actual lettering on the keys, which is visible without much effort. Though the space bar has "clutch" printed on it, which probably means something to a serious gamer. I just like the feel of the keyboard.

Miyazaki

Great keyboard

Note: the blue tab at the top left of the keyboards in the photos is just plastic protective film that I forgot to remove.

Overall, this keyboard is great. I love the key layout as well with the arrow keys while still maintaining 60% form factor. Hall effect switches are a premium touch and the aluminum chassis oozes luxury. The silicone feet are high quality and I didn't experience and slippage during my usage. If you love this design, go for it, you won't regret it.

The keyboard stock already sounds marbly. I love it. I plan on tape modding the PCB later for even more pop. The spacebar does need re-lubing as it rattles a lot. I got both silver and gunmetal and they both had poorly lubed spacebars. The other mods sound fine though. The switches themselves are probably the best feeling magnetic switches I've used. I don't know what springs they used, but they feel so good and natural to press down on.

The USB cord it comes with I'm not a fan of. Not a fan of 90 degree angle and the braided cord is super heavy and thick. Paracord bungee is the way to go in my opinion.

I LOVE keyboards and mice that have web drivers. I hate installing bloat on my PC so being able to configure the keyboard via web-based app is amazing.

This key layout is pretty rare for hall effect keyboards (I haven't found another 60% with hall effect keyboard with arrow keys). It appears the PCB MAY be compatible other Tofu60-style cases where the USB port is at the top left corner.

Compared to my Wooting60, I honestly can't tell the difference between the two in terms of performance. The only thing I prefer about my Wooting60 is that it's 100% confirmed to be compatible with other Tofu60 style cases. Customization is king so I wish GravaStar made their keyboards with that in mind, especially with such a unique key layout. Unless you really love the GravaStar aesthetic or you're really bent on having a 60% layout with arrow keys, the Wooting60 is just the better bargain.

Quality keyboard but on smaller side

The GravaStar Mercury V60 Pro is a sleek and compact 60% gaming keyboard with a very solid build quality and a satisfying clicking sound. The keystrokes feel responsive, and the 8kHz polling rate makes it great for gaming where quick reaction time matters.

One downside is that the letters on the keys are black and do not light up, which makes them difficult to see, especially in lower lighting. This can be frustrating during everyday use or late-night gaming sessions. It’s also on the smaller side — my 13-year-old felt it was too small and cramped, but my 11-year-old and 7-year-old both really liked the size and found it comfortable to use. So it may be better suited for younger users or those who prefer compact keyboards.

Another thing to note is that it is not wireless, so you’ll need to keep it plugged in at all times. On the positive side, the clicking sound is very satisfying and not overly loud, which adds to the overall gaming experience.

Overall, this is a stylish and responsive keyboard that’s great for compact setups, but the lack of backlit letters, small size, and no wireless option may be deal-breakers for some users.

The only keyboard brand for me

I absolutely love Gravastar, I already own an ice blue mercury k1 so if was excited to try out this new one. Man this keyboard is HEAVY the quality is amazing and the keep caps are freaking gorgeous. The only reason this looses a star is because I cant fathom why a smaller keyboard (60%) and WIRED costs so much. I'm so used to all keyboard being wireless i didnt even hesitate to get a new gravastar because its a great brand... but Wired keyboards in this day and age is crazy to me. You can use the keyboard right out the box, I didnt bother to read the directions you literally plug it in and you can change all the RGB colors with a few combo clicks of FN and a few keys. If you want to get more technical there is a software you can download to fully customize your keyboard but they are perfect for me and I dont need any additional setup. You won't want to type on anything else after feeling one of these.

Quality hall effect keyboard

This is a really top notch keyboard. First off it looks amazing. The mercury base is a very cool chrome color. The base is the super cool, organic, alien shape that GravaStar is known for. The key caps are frosted and clear so the RGB can really be showcased. There's also RGB on the sides.

The keyboard has an heavy, metal base. It gives it a very sturdy and premium feel. The keyboard is a joy to type on because it not only feels really good but it sounds amazing. It is probably the best sounding hall effect keyboard I've heard yet.

The setup it's very easy. I recommend using the cable that comes with the keyboard. When I used one of my other cables the keyboard didn't turn on. Otherwise, it's simply plug and play. However, the web based driver is super easy to use. You can create profiles, change the switch actuation, RGB settings. There's also a dedicated profile button on the top of the keyboard.

If you are looking for a 60% hall effect keyboard with 8k polling that sounds amazing this one might be for you.

A beautiful high end gaming keyboard with buttery keys, full customization and built like a tank

Wow! What a beautiful keyboard. I honestly did not expect the build quality to be so nice or for this keyboard to be a true work of art. So beautiful that I had to include photos of the front and back.

To start, this thing is heavy! In the box it weighs in at over 4lbs. And this is a gaming keyboard without a numeric keypad. Unboxing was a pleasure with the attention to detail. It is certainly a high end product. Inside the box you will find the keyboard, a high quality cord, key cap pullers, spare switches, cleaning brush and documentation.

Plugging the keyboard in immediately illuminated the keys and surround lights with a neat startup sequence. The first time I actually typed on the keyboard was so satisfying. The clickiness is buttery smooth. There is no doubt that this is a durable keyboard with the materials and switches used.

The next thing that impressed me was the configuration. It is entirely browser based. No software to install. Performance, RGB settings, custom mappings, everything is done through the browser so you can set all functionality easily.

I am using this keyboard as my daily to save space and just be satisfied as I type. I am not a gamer, but there is so much performance tuning and customization that it would satisfy any gamer. High end products do come at high prices, but this keyboard is an excellent value considering the build quality, customization and the overall style.

Absolutely fell in love with his keyboard, it’s a work of art

I’ve been using the GravaStar V60 Pro for about a week now, and it’s quickly become my go-to for both gaming and work. The sci-fi look with that aluminum chassis and the UFO magnetic switches caught my eye right away—it’s like something out of a cyberpunk game, and it fits perfectly on my desk without taking up too much space in its 60% layout. Typing feels super smooth and responsive, thanks to the 8kHz polling rate; I notice zero lag in fast-paced FPS games, which is a huge upgrade from my old mechanical board. The RGB lighting is customizable and adds a cool vibe, especially at night, though I wish the software was a bit more intuitive for tweaking macros. Sound-wise, it’s got a satisfying thock with the acoustic foam, but it’s not the quietest if you’re in a shared space. At around $220, it’s a splurge, but for the build quality and performance, I’d say it’s worth it if you’re into that futuristic aesthetic. Overall, 4.5/5—solid pick for gamers who want style and speed.

I let my neighbor use it because he needed a keyboard and also works from home and he didn’t want to give it back. He said it looked like an alien spaceship with the way the curvature of the chassis and the lighting performed while using.

Beautiful looking and great feel

The GravaStar Mercury V60 Pro 60% HE Magnetic Gaming Keyboard is excellent quality being made from high grade metal and plastics. It is extremely well finished having a smooth satin silver metal frame. The build quality is near perfect. The RGB led backlighting can be easily adjusted to the level desired. It looks great having lighting though the sides, front and back as well. The keyboard has a good amount of weight to it and it won't slide around the desktop. It has a very solid feel. The keys are spaced well and a good size even though the overall keyboard size is more compact. The keyboard is space efficient. The keyboard looks great on the desktop.

The keys have an excellent feel providing a really fast typing speed. The click level is just perfect, not too loud to be annoying, but loud enough to know you have completed the key stroke. The 4 slot configuration memory let's me quickly switch between customized settings optimizing it for different game play.

This keyboard is excellent for high speed and quickly configured all gaming playing. I can recommend the GravaStar Mercury V60 Pro 60% HE Magnetic Gaming Keyboard.

Obi (MNKOGaming)

Premium, Creamy Magnetic Keyboard With Serious Style and Performance

The Gravastar Mercury V60 Pro is easily one of the most unique keyboards I’ve used, both in looks and feel. The full aluminum body gives it a ton of heft, which makes it feel solid on the desk and planted during gaming. The magnetic HE switches are smooth and creamy with a really satisfying sound profile, especially for a low-profile style board (see vid for sound test and more in-depth review). This is not a hollow or rattly keyboard at all. Everything feels tight, refined, and premium, from the case to the stabilizers to the high-quality keycaps.

Performance-wise, this thing is a beast. The rapid trigger and adjustable actuation make a noticeable difference in fast-paced games, and the 8kHz polling rate keeps everything feeling instant and responsive. The RGB implementation is excellent, with lots of customization options and clean diffusion that looks great through the translucent caps. Gravastar absolutely nails the visual side here, which isn’t surprising given their reputation for designing gear that looks different but still functions well.

One thing to note is the switch design. These circular UFO magnetic switches work beautifully as-is, but if you’re someone who likes swapping switches around, your options will be limited compared to traditional MX-style boards. It’s not a downside if you plan to keep it stock, just something to be aware of. The hot-swap support is there, but this keyboard is clearly designed to be enjoyed with its native switches.

The software is refreshingly simple since it’s web-based. You’ll need to do a quick firmware update before customizing anything, but after that, it’s easy to adjust actuation points, rapid trigger behavior, and RGB without installing bloated software. The only real trade-off is portability. This keyboard is heavy, so it’s not ideal if you travel with your setup. That said, if you do bring it with you, you’re definitely showing up with one of the coolest-looking keyboards in the room. Overall, this is a premium magnetic gaming keyboard that looks as good as it performs.

Gravastar does it again!

I discovered Gravastar a little over a year ago when I went on a quest for a mouse that wouldn't show wear after a short period of time. Since then, I've started using their keyboards as well, primarily the Mercury K1 Pro Special Edition. I tend to collect mechanical keyboards but this will be my first magnetic. Gravastar is known for their skeletal, metal chassis and the V60 follows suite. The finish is gorgeous all around, a sort of pewterish aluminum including the base, (no adjustable legs but the angle for me is perfect.) The biggest thing, however, is the new UFO switches. These have to be the smoothest, quietest switches I have ever encountered. The only noise you hear is at the end of travel, a solid thunk. It's wonderful. A set of keyboard shortcuts control audio and lighting, and there's a small button on the rear for profiles, which as a non gamer may or may not get used, but nice to have. Come with a host of accessories, spare switches, pullers, brush, etc. Gravastar absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one, and I'm already eyeing other offerings such as the V75. Good stuff!
