I really like this CD and cassette player! With three kids, it’s nice to have something the whole family can enjoy. I love that it plays CDs and tapes and has AM/FM radio too. Being able to use batteries or plug it in is a big plus, and the remote makes it even more convenient. Definitely a nice addition to our home!

Only 4 star , because unit came 9-26-2026 without recharging unit in packaging ,sorted all other aspects, googled for method how to recharge Greadio unit . . Just to be aware, some units come with some don’t . Guide book just recommends this , but don’t say it’s vital for comeplete compliance , to function 100% ,awaiting power adapter . Will update later .Update power adapter fitted, all functions satisfactory, Nice size unit ,For price speakers ok ,looks like a keeper , upgraded to 5 star .

Really a nice unit, it's all plastic but the plastic appears to be thick and sturdy. Love the handle. Sound quality is good and volume gets quite loud. Radio reception pretty good, I personally love the old fashioned tuning wheel. Bluetooth connects easily and has aux in and headphone out. Haven't tried the cassette player yet but everything else is nice.

I’m really impressed with this Greadio portable CD player. It has so many great features. The sound quality is clear and surprising good for such a compact unit. The AM/FM radio has good reception. I like being able to switch from AM to FM with the touch of a button. I especially love being able to play old cassette tapes because I have some that have conversations with my relatives that have passed. I love hearing their voices again. It is a very well made product that is easy to carry, and simple to use.

I just received my CD-W16 Boombox Combo, and my first impressions are that it is a feature rich device and does a lot for such a small audio player and recorder. Thanks to this device, I can get rid of at least four separate devices; tape player, CD player, radio, and speaker!
It was well packaged to prevent damage and it was an attractive arrangement. When it first arrived, it made a good impression.
I very quickly went through the instructions and realized that it had more features than expected. I really like that in addition to the CD and tape player, it has bluetooth, USB, MP3, and aux features. In particular, I am very pleased to see that I can play it while it is plugged in and charging, and it has a remote yet the remote is not required. It also records onto a micro SD card. Additionally, it has an auxiliary plug for headphones should one not have bluetooth headphones.
The design is very pleasing and functional. It is compact yet very easy to use and intuitive. It is roughly 6.5 inches wide (approximately 165 mm), 5.5 inches tall (140 mm), and 7.5 inches deep (190 mm). There is a handle as well as an antenna on the rear.
I have only tested the CD player and the tape player so far. The controls are pretty standard with one exception. There is an EQ button that I haven't tested yet. Supposedly it adjusts the sound based upon the type of music. The types are Flat (I have no idea what that is supposed to be), Pop, Jazz, and Classical. I am not sure how much difference this will make given the size of the speakers, and how light the entire unit is. To be honest, I didn't expect much however the sound is decent and I am pleased with it. I will be using this while I build models, work around the house or in the barn, and other such activities. I will, as often as not, connect it to a good set of headphones or the Soundtable. The sound is better than that of my phone or laptop. All in all, the sound is good enough with opportunities to connect to better speakers.
I have not tested the recording. It records onto a cassette tape which is giving me flashbacks! It will record from a CD, USB, Bluetooth, AUX, or radio. I believe that you can also record from a mini SD card.
I was wondering if I would like it when I ordered and I have to say that you has exceeded my expectations. I hope that in six months my feelings are the same but based upon my initial observations, I feel good about the future but I will update this in a half year or so.

I've been collecting tapes since the 80s and CDs since the 90s. I was initially looking for a retro boombox style unit and saw this Greadio player. For $60, I figured I'd give it a try.
The set-up is easy. It comes with a USB-C cord (no plug brick though) for charging, an AUX cable & a simple remote.
The main function that interested me was the Bluetooth connectivity. It took no time at all to figure that out. I just set my stereo receiver to BT-mode, then the CD/Tape player recognized the signal and I was hooked up. No complicated pairing in my experience.
The sound from the actual CD/Tape player isn't great (lacks any depth/bass sound), but that's my only ding so far.
Again - this was a $60 item, so I wasn't expecting Bose-quality audio anyway. I just wanted it for the CD/Tape playback.
I haven't tested how long the battery lasts off the internal power, so I'll get back to you on that later.
So far though... I'd recommend it for the price if you want a small, portable CD/Tape deck. 🤘

A fantastic Boombox! It's compact, easy to carry and operate, works on all functions, great battery life, has a handy remote control and enough loudness for my outdoors activities, and for my gym workouts! I uploaded one of my power chords riffs to a USB flash drive to give an example of how great it sounds. I am very happy with it and highly recommend it!

I found a box of old cassette and CD's in my garage recently and was sad that I couldn't listen to them anymore because I had nothing to play them on. Until I saw this product. It's great! It reminds me of boomboxes I had back many years ago. Of course, the sound on this boombox is much better than I ever had. It's easy to carry around from place to place. It's a terrific product and I highly recommend it.

It's a great mini boombox with cd, cassette, fm stereo and Bluetooth receiver and transmitter. My daughter's old car doesn't have Bluetooth and sometimes the aux fails. So, she can listen to her phone's music via Bluetooth thru the mini boombox. It's easy to setup and pair. It's good quality sound for such a small device. I'd buy again if needed. Reasonable priced too for all it has. Haven't messed with the equalizer but think they are just standard presets for rock, r&b, country, and so on.

Didn't realize how much I missed my old CD'S and cassette tapes. This radio is pretty cool. Not only does it play those, but it acts as a Bluetooth speaker and it can stream to a Bluetooth speaker. Very portable and compact. Definitely recommend.

My previous vintage audiophile CD player damaged recently so I have been on the hunt for a replacement. Decided to grab this CD/cassette player boombox up as a temporary replacement and a portable backup when needed and boy am I happy I did! Just received it and am amazed by the how compact it is.
The installed speakers are what to be expected from a mini boombox of this size&price point. They can get loud but not especially bassy and are a bit hollow sounding. Luckily there are EQ settings with the remote, but I realistically wasnt expecting the speakers to sound "state of the art" and was moreso concerned about plugging it into my soundsystem and from that..it sounds GREAT!
The CD player sounds wonderful and I love that the display has a backlight for about 10secs of operation rather turning up the volume or switching tracks which is SO convenient at this price point to be honest.
The tape player was a great bonus. It seems reliable but I did notice that with my older cassettes there was quite a bit of wow & flutter, with newer cassettes the wow & flutter became less noticable thankfully. To be honest I understand that modern cassette players can be tricky. Unless you have the money for one of the audiophile level cassette players I wouldnt hold my expectations too high for a cassette player component, but this does a decent job at the price point I must say.
All in all I'm satisfied with this boombox at the price point as a replacement until I find an audiophile level cd player, since it sounds great through my speakers, and after that I will be using this for the portability and convenience of it when needed!

Received in mail fast. It doesn't look like an almost 60$ radio. Turned it on and the screen doesn't work correct😒 . Doesn't say USB, or radio,... I wouldn't buy it again.

I was so excited to get this for my classroom. Everything else seems to work, but when I opened it, the CD player didn't. I have tried multiple CDs in the hopes that it's me, but it won't read any of them and gives me the "Err" sign when I try to play one. I'm so disappointed.

I like the options this player offers, CDs- cassette tapes, the radio, the AUX to hook up
other devices, a pair of regular headphones with a jack, Bluetooth headphones, and other Bluetooth devices.
My husband and I have a ton of CDs and cassette tapes.
I like having my CD's and tapes. I feel more secure in knowing I won't lose my
music downloads and files that I have on my PC in case of a virus or a power surge.
We have some cassettes of conversations with loved ones who have passed and that was one of the main reasons why I chose this boom box. My husband talking with his Dad that I never met is priceless
and I enjoy listening to his thick, Norwegian accent.
We also listen to music on the radio. And in case of a power outage due to Mother Nature, you can also
tune into the news or emergency broadcasts.
There are options for the type of sound you prefer, Jazz, Pop, Classic, and Rock. I'm a Rock person
but I think the Jazz selection sounds the best, including for the radio. It's clearer, not so muffled.
I do wish the base and drums were more pronounced though. And in my own opinion, the
music sounds better using headphones.
You can crank up the volume on this thing, not window-shattering, but loud enough for anyone.
You can take this anywhere, to the beach, a friend's house, a road trip, etc.
My husband loves it.

This is a pretty amazing unit. I got it mostly to play the radio if the power goes out, and didn't realize just how versatile it is. It's very compact and lightweight, as well as fairly sleek looking.
It will play CDs, cassette tapes, USB, bluetooth, and Aux. It will also sync to your bluetooth speaker/earbud device and play. I tested all of that except the USB (I don't have any songs on USB). It will record to cassette tape. There is also a port on the back that I didn't know what it was - labeled TF, but I'm thinking a tiny SD card that I guess it will play from also! The speakers are on both sides, and the sound is pretty good.
It came with a cable to charge it with (USB-C to USB-A), a two-sided aux cable, a reset pin device, and a remote that takes 2 AAA batteries (not included). The instructions are pretty complete. All in all, pretty impressive unit that works well. The only weird thing is the arrows on the cassette tape buttons - they all point in the opposite direction from how you would expect them (Fast Forward points left instead of right, Play does too).

There’s a horrible noise coming from the machine when trying to sustenance to a tape. I made a recording of the strange background noise it produces.
Also very difficult to use for an elderly person, no on off button for the cd player, radio, just a very strange unit. Not sure if it’s meant to be used only with the remote control
