Nice product. I bought it on sale as my first power bank (or, “solar generator”) of this size and type. I got it for situations when the power goes out at the house, but I’m using it daily to power my home office in the garage off-grid via some used solar panels I got off marketplace. Powers a computer, 4 monitors, a couple of shop lights, and a barn-door style fridge. Uses battery overnight and charges up during the day. Really pleased with this purchase.
Do note a couple of things. I emailed Growatt to ask a couple of questions and never got a response. Also, unlike some other power station like this, the Growatt unit wants the positive lead tied to the third pin on an xt60i cable, not the negative lead. I bought and returned several cables that should have worked to get the full amps into the solar port but didn’t. Eventually I figured that out and soldered one of the cables I had not yet returned. Now I have a nice 10AWG xt60i to mc4 connector that is much longer than the one that came with the unit, which also is only 14AWG. Overall a very useful thing to have around. 5*

Buy if you like poisonous, flammable gas.
After first use during a power outage I noticed the following:
- The inverter powered on and functioned without a fault.
- I detected a faint unusual smell (slightly electrical or burning)
- The unit began making a repetitive “dripping” or clicking sound
The sound was consistent and concerning, especially combined with the smell. Research determined it is probably organic solvents from the lithium-ion battery electrolyte, which are most likely poisonous and are fire hazards.
I contacted customer support two months ago and still no response. $800 down the drain, and a safety hazard. Also a pain to get rid of because trashing it is illegal. Overall an expensive headache.

Compact well designed power station.
I absolutely love this power station. While it doesn’t generate a substantial amount of solar power, I’m currently not using solar to charge it. Instead, I charge it using AC power. Unlike many other units, it boasts a 30A Anderson DC output, enabling you to connect devices that require more than the standard 10A DC cigarette-type power plug.
Conveniently, you can access this power station via Bluetooth or WiFi using the accompanying app. I primarily manage the unit through the app when I’m not home. I’ve connected it to a smart switch, allowing me to charge it when I’m away and in need of a charge. It usually charges within an hour from a 30% remaining charge. I’ve been using it to power my diesel heater, and it has a 2048Wh battery, providing an impressive run time on a single charge. I can run it for a week without depleting the entire battery.
The fan operates relatively quietly during operation or charging. It has a handle on each side, making it easy to pick up and move. It delivers stable power through both DC and AC. I’ve used it to charge the batteries for my power tools without any issues. I’ve even had chargers plugged into all four of the 20A outlets simultaneously to charge the batteries, and it continues to function flawlessly.
Operating this power station is straightforward, and the manual is exceptionally well-written.
The power station features four 20A AC outlets and one 30A AC outlet. I’m planning to use it with my camper during dry camping trips over the upcoming summer.

unstable at best
this unit does not work and support is horrible at best. I get a f00 error code when I plug solar panel in. if I use both solar and ac to charge it the wifi stops working and I can't reset it until I unplug every thing from it. support is only by email and they keep asking or telling me the same things.

The Growatt Infinity 2000 Pro is a good quality power station
The Growatt Infinity 2000 Pro is a well built power station. I purchased one in April 2025 to run my adventure/camper van. I just purchased a second Infinity 2000 Pro for my other Camper van. I have a lot of experience with power stations and performed many tests when I received it. The Infinity 2000 has high quality Lifepo4 batteries. It scored 94.2% on an AC battery capacity discharge test. It scored 85% on a DC discharge test. I also like the fact that Growatt puts all of the power out receptacles on the front of the unit. I do not care for AC receptacles on the side. The unit has a strong inverter and can power many large appliances. It also has a 30amp DC output so I can connect a fuse box to power electronic devices in my van. This is my first Growatt power station and they made a great product.

Greatly Surpassed Expectations
I paid for the Growatt with my own money, and this review is an honest reflection of my experiences with it.
This small portable power station is pretty incredible. I have been using it daily for over 2 months and it is holding up well. Originally, I bought it as something I can use while camping. It fits nicely in the sub-trunk of my 2021 Tesla Model Y. I've had so much fun testing it around the house, I started using it for tasks daily. I paired it with a 450w portable solar panel by ZoupW and they work great together. I charge it from solar during the day and use it for applications around the house that are easily accessible, dumping whatever is left over into my Tesla in the morning before charging it back up again. It will work with the Tesla Mobile Connector as long as you have a neutral ground bonding plug connected as well.
With it, I have run:
-washer and dryer
-coffee maker, air fryer, and toaster (I can run 2 simultaneously)
-kids bounce house
-charged various portable electronics (phone, iPad, electric scooter, power tool batteries, etc.)
There are so many great uses for it. Another reviewer mentioned using at at trade shows, which I think is a great use as well, although I have not had the opportunity to try it yet. There are barely any reviews available to see or read, even on YouTube. I could only find 2 on YouTube; Professor Hobo and Will Prowse, although both were reviews of the previous version, not the Pro. I hope someone makes an updated video review on the Pro, because it's such a great unit.
I ended up reaching out to the manufacturer to ask a few questions, and they actually got back to me in a timely manner. I've been very happy with their customer service and response time. Mainly, I wanted to run more solar, and asked some specifics about what the inverter can handle. According to the manual, the inverter can handle a max of 20a, 1200w, 12-60v. The solar panel I have is just over 10a, 38v, so there was no way to add an extra set in parallel or series without surpassing what the inverter could handle. I asked for confirmation on the specs, and this is what I was told:
"INFINITY 2000 PRO:
●Max PV Input Voltage: 12-60V DC (Note: 60V is the regulatory limit, but in practical use, voltages up to
150V are generally safe)
●Max PV Input Wattage: 1200W
●Max PV Input Current: 20A
This will limit the PV input power to 1200W. There is over-power protection, so it is okay if it exceeds the limit."
This was great because I wanted to increase my solar input but did not want to risk damaging the Growatt unit.
I am happy to report that I tested this and was happy with the findings. I ran 2 sets of ZoupW panels to the Growatt Portable Power Station in series with zero issues. According to the solar panel specs, voltage should have been somewhere between 75v 92v. The max solar I was able to achieve was 1044w. The inverter did not have any issues with the voltage or throw any errors.
I have been so happy with it that I decided to maximize its potential and purchased 2 Growatt Infinity 2000 Pro expansion units. The Growatt website shows a hand truck/dolly you can use to carry them around. Unfortunately this is not available for purchase. I ended up making my own version with a cheap Harbor Freight hand truck I already had. This allows me to easily move them around. With just the main unit, you can lift it and move it as needed, but I did not want to do that with 3 units, and have to disconnect them and re-connect them daily.
I also like using the app that is available for the Growatt Infinity 2000 Pro. It shows all the info you need, like input and output. I really like how it shows each USB port individually in the app, so if you have 3 separate devices plugged in, you can see the power draw of each unit individually. This is not the case for the AC outlets; the app just shows the cumulative power draw of everything plugged into the 120v AC outlets.
When there is more than 1 battery connected (in my case, one main unit and 2 expansion units), the app shows each battery capacity individually when you click on "Expansion Battery". I like the breakdown and how I can see each battery capacity individually, but I wish the app would show the capacity of the whole system prior to clicking on "Expansion Battery". For example, if one battery was at 40%, one was at 50%, and one was at 60%, I wish the system would show a capacity of 50% for all batteries, then show the individual breakdown of each battery when I click on Expansion Battery, like it currently does.
All-in-all, I am very happy with the Growatt Infinity 2000 Pro and expansions. The units look nice (I prefer the color choices for the Pro vs the previous Infinity 2000 version).
I have not used the TT-30 plug yet, but you will not get a full 24a from it. The 2400w output of the inverter will limit that port to 20a (I think). I am definitely not an electrician, but an electrical novice who has had fun learning about how all this stuff works as I knew almost nothing before looking into a portable power station and portable panels a few months ago. It's been a fun learning experience.
If you are in the market for a portable power station, I suggest giving this one a try. It is compact yet capable, aesthetically pleasing, and has great customer support. Zero complaints so far, and like I mentioned earlier, I have been using it daily for over 2 months.
