???
It's supposed to be a transparent overdrive, I compared it to a tube screamer and to my disappointment it sounds more medium than my TS 9 tube screamer, my advice is try it before you buy it

I've tried and owned quite a few "Klone" pedals, and this one is by far the quietest pedal yet. It still provides enough boost to overdrive the front end of a clean tube amp, or you can set it for a more subtle coloration of just a hint of grit at the edge of breakup. Plus it has the buffered bypass of the original.

This pedal is amazing. I have played a genuine Klon through my Marshall Plexi and Les Paul with Lollar Imperials and this pedal is amazingly close to that tone. I like it goosed up pretty good and tones at about neutral wow man , I played this through a Fender Deluxe Reverb and my Mexican B Bender tele and I couldn't put it down. I had Kenny Vaughn Grit all day long. I love this pedal!! Get it!!

If you are looking for a klon clone and do not want to fork out the KTR prices, this is the closest thing you'll get to the genuine pedal. Solid build solid sound. High output very clear and is able to get warm sounds still.

The tone from this thing is hard to explain, other than it adds this special "sweetness" to your sound. I'm running it in front of an Orange Rocker 15, and when using it on the clean channel I really hear that smooth magic shine. On the dirty channel it's an entirely different game, taking an already amazing distortion to crazy levels. It's perfect for ramping up leads or cutting through the mix. I love it!

Good pedal, no hum or buzz, quality and good looking. I feel 5 stars well deserve it.!

This is a great overdrive pedal and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It helps drive a (tube) amplifier. Sound/tone is always subjective but I really like the tones I was able to get out of this pedal both on clean and distorted channels on my amplifier. (see the video review). The tone knob is great for adjusting the high frequencies to your particular guitar/amp. There is plenty of drive on tap and almost every setting is very usable depending on the tone you are looking to get.
Pedal came in a very minimalist but eco-friendly package. There are not several pages of user manuals and unnecessary wrappings which is a huge plus in my mind. It does not come with a power supply which is very typical and environment/budget-friendly.
The chassis is metal and it is very strong and sturdy. The switch, knobs, and jacks are all of great heavy-duty quality. Overall, I am very happy with this pedal and it will remain on the pedalboard for a very long time.
I sincerely hope that you will find my review helpful.
