Worst customer service ever. When your item breaks and I say when. Good luck getting any help. I had mine for 5 months and there is a problem with the red light. All I got was run around after runaround emails

Works good

This heated red light therapy belt works good. The heat really helps when my back is hurting. The belt stretches around me and gives support. The massage is just a light vibration. I don't care to use that. As far as the red light i really don't know if that helps. I do get relief when it is on however that could be frome the heat.

Nice - but careful with the heat.

I bought this belt for back pain after reading about the benefits of red light therapy. It is heat and vibration. The heat feels good but the vibration doesn’t really do anything for the pain and is kind of loud. The reason I am giving this 3 stars is because you have to be very careful about making sure the red lights don’t get too close to your skin. I laid back on a pillow and ended up with a slight burn. It was fine the next day but I don’t lean back in anything while wearing. Besides those issues it does feel good and is nice in terms of portability allowing me to move around and do things.

Decent heat belt but massage isn’t strong enough.

This is a nice heat belt for lower back pain. It’s made pretty well and is adjustable to fit most any size body. It heats up really quick and gets pretty warm. The battery life is great as I had it on maximum heat and vibration for over an hour and still had battery life left. However, the vibration just isn’t strong enough. It’s has 3 modes of vibration, not 3 strengths. The strength is the same in all 3 modes and is just lackluster. The heat is great, the massage feature is just not. However, it’s affordable and works good for lower back pain heat relief and it’s rechargeable which is a bonus.

perfect way to relieve aches & pains in your back

this triple therapy belt is amazing! the Infared light inside is so soothing along with the deep tissue massage/vibration. my husband & myself spent most of the weekend outside doing some heavy lifting & moving things around for a new project we have started. by the time the evening came, no amount of anti-inflammatories/pain relievers would help with the aches and pains we both were feeling. strapped this around my waist & turned it on took a few seconds to come to full heat (which is very easily adjustable) to start to ease the aches. once it was comfortably warm on my back I started the deep tissue massage for a few minutes then went onto the vibration mode by the time about 15 minutes had passed I was feeling so much better. my husband did the same thing once I was done & agreed how much better his back felt afterwards. got up this morning expecting some sort of aches but to my very pleasant surprise there was no aches or pains at all. my husband agreed no pain when he got up either. what a fantastic device. I must say one thing about myself, I cannot use those massage chairs or shiatsu massagers due to suffering from chronic back pain. this device was not aggressive with the massage. just enough to feel like it was helping & not causing further pain. which is another great point this is completely adjustable in how warm you make it. how strong the deep tissue massage is & how strong the vibration is. & with it being usb rechargeable you don't have to worry about being tethered to a power cord. such a pleasure to have & use. I know this household will get many years of use out of this unit! 10 stars! very highly recommended for ease of use, adjustability of function, portability, and overall comfort! just wonderful! Well worth the price point, which is extremely reasonable for all it has.

Comforting and Convenient Pain Relief

My wife and I both love this Hatch Therapies Triple Therapy Red Light Belt, particularly my wife who will likely get most of the use out of it. In a way, it reminds me of a functionally similar device that we used to have, but it is much better in my opinion. The prior device was a combination motorized shiatzu massager and red light therapy device. The red light felt really nice, but the shiatzu massager, which used counter-rotating disks with protrusions on them was not for us. In fact, the massage was kind of painful at times. This Hatch Belt model, on the other hand, which also has the red light/Near IR heating source like the prior device, utilizes vibration motors for its massage function, which is not painful in the least - in fact, it feels GREAT!

While this item seems to be made mostly for relieving pain of the lower back, it in fact isn't limited to that. So far my wife has been using it on her shoulder as well as her knees (and has experienced significant pain relief with its use, both with and without the vibration functionality turned on), and I tried it on my upper back and neck area (heat only so far). The warmth it provides is very soothing and relaxing, and we've never experienced it getting so hot that it's uncomfortable like "regular" heating pads can get sometimes.

One of my favorite features is that it can be used wirelessly, powered just by its internal rechargeable lithium batteries - no reason to be tethered to a power cord when using this device! The runtime per charge is surprisingly long too, reaching over an hour with BOTH the heat and massage turned on (according to the included user's manual). This would probably not be possible with a traditional resistance heater, but with the energy-efficient LED technology it doesn't seem to be a problem. The LEDs shine with a wavelength of 750Nm, which is right on the border between red and Infrared light. This allows the heat to penetrate the skin about twice as deeply as lower wavelengths of red light.

The belt can wrapped around the waist (or other body part) using built-in straps with hook and loop fasteners. It accommodates circumferences of up to 40". There is a control panel attached to the front of the belt that allows turning the unit on and off, turning the heat function on/off as well as setting to one of three temperature ranges, and also controlling the massage function - on/off, and selecting one of the 3 massage modes. Each mode offers a different pre-programmed pattern for the left and right motors. There is also a setting lock, to eliminate the possibility of accidentally changing any of the heat/massage settings. This is a nice feature, as accidental setting changes are pretty easy to do.

The unit comes packed in a nice-quality fiberboard box with magnetic lid closures which can be used as a decent storage case. Included in the box with the belt is a well-written instruction manual, as well as a USB-A to USB-C power cable for charging the batteries. The actual USB power source is not included, however, but it can be used with a smart phone/tablet charger AC adapter that has a USB-A output jack.

Red light or infrared?

I'm not sure if this is red light or infrared because those are two distinct therapies. The product instructions primarily say infrared but that might be a translation issue. Based on the fact that the description says 750 nm I'm going to guess it's red light. Unfortunately the evidence says 750 is one of the least effective wavelengths so it's not often used and I'm not sure why they chose it.

The most useful feature is definitely the warming. The massage is pretty weak even on the highest setting, though the vibration pattern does change as it moves around the belt which is nice. The buzz reminds me of a TENS machine on a low setting.

As a toddler mom I found it helpful for some immediate back relief.

I was sitting on the ground playing with my 2-year-old for a while and my back started to hurt and I thought hey, now's a good time to give this belt a shot!

I definitely appreciate the locking feature! My toddler kept changing the settings.

It's very comfortable to wear and the secondary belt helps give it a snug fit. It's very simple to use and doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles.

It has a fairly strong smell at first.

It's definitely a bummer that the light only activates with the heat. The lowest heat setting is pretty mild but it would be nice if I just wanted the red light feature to save on battery power. In terms of functionality it's okay, the heating function works great, the massage function is on the weak side, and the red light wavelength isn't ideal.

Relaxing

It's comfortable and heats up pretty quick.

Red light therapy reduces inflammation and increase blood circulation. Belt is adjustable, battery life is good but the massager isn't strong.

Great heat and massage belt

So my wife has back problems and this red light therapy belt really makes a difference. It’s very easy to use. It has a decent size battery that’s rechargeable and it even includes the recharging cable which is a super C to USB. It has an adjustable heat setting And many different vibration modes. My wife is tiny as you can see in the pictures and this belt wraps around her and fits perfectly. It even fits me and works great, but I don’t have the issues she does so she gets much more out of the intense red light heat, and the feeling of the vibrations than I do. This fits a variety of different size people very easily. We both found this to be very comfortable and it provides a great amount of different heat levels to suit just about anybody. It’s very functional and we love how the belt has very different modes on the vibration settings. It has a 5000 mA battery so it should last quite a bit and the display shows the battery level, which is nice. It helps with her pain relief immensely because it targets the red light heat directly where she needs it, on her lower back. We found this to be an amazing value.

Okay

This heat/light/massage belt has some solid features, but also a few disappointing limitations. The heat feels great, and I was able to get it up to 140°F, which definitely helped soothe sore muscles. The fit is comfortable and adjustable, and I appreciated how snugly it wraps around the body—especially when I used it on my thighs, as suggested in the manual. That was a surprisingly effective use!

However, there are some notable drawbacks. The vibration function is more of a buzz than a massage—it’s about as strong as a cell phone and not particularly helpful for relief. I also wish there were an option to use the red lights separately from the heat. It seems the lights and heat are linked by design—possibly because the lights themselves produce heat, or the system just doesn’t allow independent control.

Worse, at lower heat settings, the red lights don’t stay on consistently, which undermines the red-light therapy aspect entirely. That was a major letdown for me.

Overall: 3 stars. The heat works well, and the fit is great, but the limited light control and underwhelming vibration mean I’ll only be using part of what this belt offers. Good for heat therapy—less so for its full advertised range of functions.
