Awesome Alternative! Great for those with Stomach Issues! RECOMMEND!!

These are a GREAT Alternative to Gas-X. We received a lot of relief after buying/using Gas-X, but found them to be costly. So, we searched for a lower priced, more readily available alternative, and this is it. Only need to take one Softgel per day, but sometimes I take two. And that's from someone who has major stomach issues, gas/ulcers/bloating/etc. My symptoms are pretty severe and very uncomfortable, and these work great for me. Great Relief, Easy to Swallow, and last all day.

Unfortunately the item did not work as described

Unfortunately the item did not work as described. Somewhat mislead as the item did not work in the least bit. It did not help with issue it claimed to help remedy. I had to get a refund as this item is non returnable. I was hoping this helped the issue but it was a dud. I got no relief from this and it did not work fast (or at all). I was hoping the Simethicone would cause relief but it did not. Easy to swallow gelcaps that are sturdy. No relief from gas but was easy to use.

Not recommended. Quality is questionable since all of the gels are melted together. Disappointed.

I needed a product for my occasional gas relief. I liked that they mentioned in the ad that: "fast gas relief and relieve symptoms naturally". I ordered and found the claims to be true. They are small and easy to swallow. I am satisfied with the order.

Not for me

I don't like the gelatin or the artificial dye used in this product. Unfortunately I was unable to try it because of the gelatin but I did try it on my roommate. After eating broccoli cheddar soup with garlic bread my roommate had a lot of digestion discomfort so I gave her 2 of these gas relief gelcaps. The gelcaps are very small so they're easy to swallow. Scentless. Good value sized bottle but with poor added ingredients. The simethicone is of a good quality because it performed as expected. My roommate was relieved of discomfort roughly 11 minutes after taking this product.

They seem to work fine

These simethicone capsules seem to be ok. They seem to work on gas as they should. Of course I have no way of testing that they are what they claim to be, so I base this review merely on my experience with them. So far, so good. Five stars.

Good quality!!

These are softgels for excessive gas. The active ingredient is simethicone, which seems to be the most popular one for gas. The expiration date on mine is 2 years away from when I received them. The directions are inside of a peel-up sticky label. They say to take one or two as symptoms occur. The softgels are orange and transparent. Good quality.

Great product! Very helpful!

These definitely seem to help each time I use them. I’ve tried other products and they don’t seem to work as well. Also, I love that these are softgels. I highly recommend.

Not sure if actually 180mg.

These are significantly smaller than previous brands 180mg softgels which makes me think that they are actually 120mg

Don’t buy!!

Don’t purchase!! Waste of money! Productive arrived in a solid mass that cannot be broken apart without the pills spilling their liquid contents. Product did not have any kind of absorption placed with the pills, unable to return!! Purchase something else!

Works

For occasional gas and bloating I always use Simethicone but I have never seen it in a gel cap before, I always buy chewables. These are easy to swallow, you take 1 or 2, they are tiny but they work well and I don’t have that pasty sticky mint stuck in my teeth. I like these very much, better then chewables. Recommend

Bottom line: It works ... but wanna know how?

So, we've all been there ... large dinner, maybe some foods we can't resist but don't love us back. Maybe it's a business dinner ... or worse yet, a date night. There are few feelings worse than the bloating and gassy feeling you get around other people. When you are on your own ... well, you can 'let 'er rip' ... but if you are with your significant other, co-workers or out in public with no dog around to blame ... that can be a problem.

I have tried a lot of different pills like this, including the name brand ones ... and the organic ones. Let me just say that sadly, the organic ones don't really work well at all. Especially for the price. The name brand pills do work fairly well, for a few hours at least. Normally I am very anti-generic stuff when it comes to cold/flu relief, aspirin, first aid ointment, etc. Maybe its in my head, but the generic versions never seem to work as well as the name brand stuff for relief of symptoms ... or so it seems. These work just as well as the name brand.

Really though, there is only one active ingredient in anti-gas/bloating pills ... Simethecone. How does this work? Basically, Simethecone is an anti-foaming agent. What causes bloating, gas and 'tooting' is when foods you eat break down in different ways. As the foods break down in your stomach/gut, they cause gas ... which causes bubbles that expand making you feel bloated. The bubbles eventually pop, which means that air has to leave the body in 1 of 2 places ... neither of them pleasant. An anti-foaming agents cuts down on that process causing less foaming/bubbles.

I will say that after a big meal, these don't necessarily make you feel less full. Overeating can't be stopped by a pill. However, several minutes after a big meal, they do cut back on that uncomfortable feeling ... you know the one. There will be less fidgeting, deep breathing, sweating and clenching if you take 1 or 2 of these after a meal. It's not a miracle cure ... but it cuts symptoms of gas or bloating by 60-70% in me right after taking it.

I usually take two pills. Each one is 180 mg ... so 360 for 2 pills, which is the maximum recommended dose in 24 hours. Although many medical sites claim 500 mg is the average dose. These are small and look like mini-jelly belly beans ... easy to swallow with some water. You don't want to overdo it with Simethecone, either by taking more than the recommended 2 pills, or by taking these every single night. Your body needs to break down food and using these 24/7 could be detrimental to your overall digestion. If you are on a date and just got home from Olive Garden's unlimited soup and salad and now your date wants to snuggle on the coach, with their body pressed against your bloated belly while watching a movie ... these will be worth their weight in gold.

One thing I will say is they have a short active life. I find that if I eat dinner right before bed and take these before I lay down, for a few hours things go okay. But don't expect to be cleansed of any need for regular human body functions due to these pills. If you toot in your sleep without the pills ... you'll likely toot in your sleep after taking the pills too. You aren't going to eat a giant bowl of rice and brussels sprouts, take 2 pills and go out and run a marathon. You will however be much more comfortable after a big meal.

Overall, I can say that for me, these worked as good as the name brand. I don't have gas often but when I do, it's usually because I am around other people eating and drinking more than I should. Slipping a few of these after a meal when I know

I am going to be stuck with company makes them well worth what they cost. Even at 50 - 60% effectively, the cost of a bottle is worth the relief and lack of necessary embarrassment from gas.

Affordable and effect gas relief soft gels

These soft gels are pretty much what you’d get when the doctor prescribes you gas relief pills. I have them around all the time because reflux causes a lot of gas whenever I eat the wrong thing. Anyways, they work!

The dose is 180mg so not the lowest but not the highest but this you can take up to 2 tabs but my doc always says no more than 500mg total a day. For $9, you get 120 soft gels which are easy to swallow. It’s a good deal.
