string comes off every time k ly used 2 times so for pretty good.
Make sure you use a real Milwaukee battery. The other batteries that are like Milwaukee don’t run longer than 15 minutes on this. Also the string just comes off constantly. I’ve used it two times now on both times I thought I ran out of string which I shouldn’t and the string inside. I gotta figure out that mechanism. It also cuts differently at a different angles so it spits up a lot of stuff at you. I have been tackled by a piece of branch or a sticker or rock more than ever in my life. I had a Milwaukee one prior and you know it runs great and superduper speed really strong and the Milwaukee battery keeps it going but pay attention to your kicks back a lot of stuff on you because of the angle I guess and then the string I don’t know what happens to that. I’m gonna try to figure that out. I think it’s just the way it’s made or this one might not be I don’t know it just might be something with this guy otherwise it’s pretty good

Experience after VERY HARD use
This review is based upon the first use of this weed wacker. It is important to note that this was VERY HARD USE of this device. I had overgrown crabgrass everywhere, including the huge clumps that had grown in the cracks in my driveway. I was *VERY* impressed at how well this device works. I had to switch batteries at a rate which I expected. My batteries are getting old, so it is not fair to speak about run time. The device did shut itself off several times during this VERY HARD USAGE. It would then run again after a few minutes. It appears to have a computer controlled motor. The computer detects too much heat and protectively shuts down. Under normal use, I would not expect frequent shutdown. When I was finished with the job (which took ALL DAY), I used a brush to clean the entire lower section, and I found that debris had clogged the ventilation screens. Keep an eye on that. Don't let it happen. Keep those vents clean and open WHILE you are using it. I simply used a brush and blower to fully clear out those ventilation screens. I'll be honest and tell you that I did NOT expect to be satisfied with a "off brand" Milwaukee battery compatible electric weed whacker. However, after the VERY HARD USAGE I had to put it through, I am VERY IMPRESSED with this device, and I like the fact that if you use it HARD it will protect itself and shutdown for a few minutes when the computer detects too much heat. Just remember to keep the cutter motor vents CLEAN. Just check the vents a few times WHILE using it. For the record, my purchase was for the largest unit, which has a nice LONG shaft. It is easy to balance and the battery weight is inconsequential. I HIGHLY recommend this weed whacker. ***SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS*** (Keep those vents CLEAN).

Surprising power and so easy to use!
This weed wacker packs a punch for a cordless model. It handled my overgrown lawn borders and thick weeds without any issues or stalling. Setup took less than five minutes, and I love that it comes with several pre-wound replacement spools right in the box. Switching to the wheeled edger mode leaves super clean lines along my driveway. A fantastic purchase.

If you already own Milwaukee batteries, this low priced edger is a great deal.
Works perfectly with the Milwaukee M18 batteries that I already have. Easily trims my entire yard with the smallest battery size.
I would not use this if I needed to do really big jobs but for a small yard it beats mixing fuel and worrying about whether it’ll start next spring. Plus the price was unbeatable.

Cheap plastic junk
This thing feels and looks like it was bought from toys r us. Decided I would give it a try because of all the good reviews but couldn't even get the handle on. The nut that it is supposed to screw into broke off and fell into the handle before I could even get it together. Definitely not worth buying

GREATEST Cordless string trimmer we have ever purchased !!!
I own two gas powered Weed Wacker / string trimmers that I am always reluctant to use because they never want to start or run at all. The string never comes out automatically, it’s a constant battle.
My wife actually said, why don’t you buy a cordless string trimmer. If you had a cordless one, I would use it around my flower beds and use it as an edger as well. I found the Heinoro battery operated 18V cordless string trimmer. I read about the features it had for trimming, edging and even grass cutting. The head swivels in multiple positions for your comfort and the handle actually retracts and extends for easy storage or transporting anywhere. My Milwaukee 18v batteries work perfectly with the new tool. All this and it has a one year warranty. My next purchase will be their cordless blower. THANK YOU Love it….

Weed wacker that works!
Very happy with this purchase! A return happy customer with Heinpro having bought the leaf blower. This weed wacker is very easy to assemble right out of the box with or without the provided instructions. My Milwaukee 18V battery fits well with no issues. Weed wacker worked out of the box. Liked the string auto feed for ease of use. Brushless motor adds an extra bonus with power and reliability. Highly recommend!

Works well with m18 batterries.
Easy to assemble. Lightweight. Ways about as much as the m18 battery (not included) user to operate it. The trimmer was strong enough to cut through the weeds under my fence that the mower can't reach. I had a full battery and used it for about 30 minutes, and it consumed about 75%.

Product as described and perfect for residential use
Bought this one as an alternative to a higher priced version. First, very easy to assemble including one spool already loaded. Instructions very clear, you will want to read it so you understand the initial start up and auto spooling. Product durability tested and used to edge and trim and works well. The battery compatibility is true and works good. Comes with a good warranty.

Good trimmer for the money
I usually like to stick with power tools that use the same battery type to save money and hassle. I found myself needing a new string trimmer for the next day and I could not source one locally that was within budget and used Milwaukee style batteries. It arrived the next day in a small box and I immediately thought I would spend the next half hour in assembly, WRONG! I opened the box and the main part just snapped to together like a trekking pole or collapsible cane, easy and quick. Next the head shield attached with two screws, snap in the line bobbin, and it was done, 5-6 minutes tops. I attached a battery and took to the yard. I was surprised at the power and cutting ability for a single line trimmer. For a battery powered light duty tool, it did a great job at trimming around my walks and the house. It did get a little heavy after a time, but that is probably on me due to not trimming often. The autofeed worked as billed and fed a little line each time I started and stopped the motor. You have to push the safety button on the grip before pulling the trigger for operation. Took a couple of minutes to get used to this as my old one didn't have that, but it became second nature quickly. This is not a heavy duty tool, but then it is not meant to be. It is not one I would take out into the field or farm, but it is great for its intended use around the house or camper. Since it will easily fold up by releasing the push buttons on the shaft, it would be a good one to take camping.
