Very nice sketch book set for drawing. It has different types of pencils: Watercolor, charcoal, metallic. Along with different blending and shadowing tools. It also comes with a 100 page drawing pad, with white, black and tan paper. It comes with a nice zipper binder to hold all the items neatly and within sight. You get a lot for the money. Very easy to use. This would make a great gift for a budding artist.

I was surprised and impressed with how many things this kit came with. The pencils are not super high quality but they are good quality (according to a more experienced friend of mine). I am an amateur and just trying to get into sketching more and I like what I've gotten out of this kit so far and am excited to use it more.

This is a really nice basic set of art supplies! This would make a great gift for a student or somebody wanting to get started. There are a variety of different mediums so you can make multi-medium art or try different styles if you aren’t sure what medium you prefer to work in. I like the color selection, especially the metallic pencils! I am also very fond of the sketchbook that contains three different types of paper. This eliminates the need to carry around multiple sketchbooks for quick artwork using different mediums. The case is also very nice and keeps everything together for storage or travel.

I am far from an "artist" but I do enjoy sketching & coloring. This is a very nice set that has a couple of things that I don't even recognize or know what they do! They include pretty much everything you need from pencils to charcoal to colored pencils, multiple kinds of erasers and smudgers/blenders, sharpeners & razor blades. The colors look nice and bright and you get several. I love the case, it has a place for everything and zips closed. The zipper unzips nicely but struggles a bit to zip closed just due to the loose fabric. It also includes a smaller sketchbook that's spiral bound. This is a very nice affordable set for the amount of different tools you get!

This kit has it all! As someone who primarily uses colored pencils but has been using cheaper colored pencils, I was impressed by the quality of all the colored pencils in this kit as well as the paper in the sketchpad. The pencils all glide smoothly onto the pages, and the paper has a great amount of texture--not too rough and not too smooth. The watercolor pencils work well with the brush and the waterbrush.
The metallic pencils don't make much of an impression on the white pages, but they are stunning on the black pages. The metallic pencils and the white pen work great on the black pages. I wouldn't have thought to seek these metallic pencils out on their own, but they ended up being my favorite element of this kit! Using these on the black paper is such a fun look in creating zen doodles and designs.
Portability is another element that is great about this kit. It can easily fit in a tote bag and be taken to school, work, or an outdoor adventure. All the sketching supplies come in a case that zips up and keeps them secure.
There are so many things in this kit, and there are many pieces that I don't know (yet) how to use, but I'm looking forward to watching some video tutorials that will help me learn how to use all the pieces in this set that seems very high quality so far!

Wonderful art set that comes with pretty much everything you need to be extra creative! Very easy to use and comes with a great carrying case for on-the-go creations.

Full disclosure I got this for not cost as a Vine Reviewer in exchange for this reviewer. That Said I have academic degree in Visual Arts and show my art in over 10 shows a year.
If cost is a concern this is the set to get you get a decent (not great) cross section of tools. for about $25. If I was wanting to give a complete multi color gift I would give the 120 piece offering they provide. and then add the 100 piece Black & White set those 2 set together offer much more tools - but come at a higher cost.
This set does not have the Rainbow colored pencils or the various charcoal offerings that the other two set have.
I am a serious artist and I focus on Black and White so the 100 piece set is one I am using the most right now. And when I get in a colorful mood I go to the 120 piece set. I haven't used this one at all because it duplicates the other 2 sets.
That said, this is a. low cost offering for some very good art tools to get a person started. grades 1 to 12 starting art. if serious the 100 piece B&W set is a must have.
Great case well made - good zipper - easy to use. 4-stars only because it lacks the completeness of the other two sets which I have also reviewed. This is the best low cost option for a gift - get the other two sets together (higher cost) many more tools.

Includes just about everything a beginner would need. I removed the sharp knife before letting my granddaughters start working with the set. Seems to be good quality and the case is excellent, especially when traveling. Very nice set.

I'm genuinely impressed with the variety and amount of items you get in this art set especially considering its current price. I'm relatively new to learning how to draw and have to admit that I'm not sure what every item is used for...yet.
It includes 12 metallic, 12 watercolor and 12 regular colored penciled 12 different numbered graphite pencils (all of which are pre-sharpened), 3 different shades of charcoal, and a number of different tools including blending stumps, erasers, sharpeners, etc. along with a sketch book that has white, black and natural colored paper. And everything is organized in a pretty nice zippered canvas case. The case is a trifold and opens up making it able to hold a lot but still have the footprint of a regular zippered binder easily fitting in a backpack or tote. I haven't had a change to try out the pencils or tools but most appear to be of decent to excellent quality.
This would be a great gift for an aspiring artist or any student needing art supplies (note there is an "art knife" so I would not give this younger kids).

This art set is perfect for a beginner or intermediate artist. There is a good selection of supplies ranging from colored pencils, graphite pencils, charcoal pencils, blending tools and more. The color payout of the colored pencils is really good. The included sketchbook is awesome! I love that it has three different colors of paper (white, tan and black). The zippered case is great quality and keeps all the supplies organized and contained.
This would make a great gift for all ages with an interest in drawing or coloring.

This is an amazing art set at an amazing price!! It has practically everything I need to enjoy art in my home and on the go with the included case. The case keeps all the contents super organized and easy to find. This art set has 3 kinds of colored pencils, a complete set of drawing pencils, multiple erasers, 2 pencil sharpeners, a couple paint brushes, a white gel pen, sketchbook with white, tan, and black paper and more.
In testing the colored pencils, I enjoyed how ‘creamy’ they colored. The experience was very similar to coloring with PrismaColor pencils in how smooth it was to lay down and blend colors. I was surprised to find that all three types of the colored pencils showed up on the black sketch paper. In fact, the metallic looks best and most metallic when used on the black sketch paper. I didn’t think that the metallic colors looked very metallic on the tan or white paper but they still looked like vibrant colors and colored nicely. The watercolor pencils worked like most I have previously used. These work on all colors of paper but I had the best results on the white and tan. When using the watercolor pencils on the black paper, it was almost like adding water lifted the pigment off the page but they still looked nice when used without water or when using the watercolor pencil on damp paper (as opposed to adding the water to the already colored paper if that makes sense). I tried to demonstrate this with some of the attached images.
The drawing pencils perform as expected. Similar to other graphite pencils, when using the darker leads they can get a bit smudged so it is important to be careful with that. I included a pic of some basic drawings and when I colored with the yellow the pencil did smudge some but had I been more mindful about it, it would have been fine. I also tested the erasers and they worked very well with these pencils. I like the included white gel pen to add highlights. I wish they also included a black gel pen for outlining but the case has so much space that I plan to just add one.
This art set has just about everything needed to get started with drawing, coloring, and creating various styles of artwork. The pencils and art supplies are great quality at an excellent price. The icing on the cake is the well designed case that these supplies can be stored and transported in. It can be very entertaining to take supplies on the go and create art in nature and this set makes that easy. I highly recommend this art set for children and adults alike. I am not a professional so it may fall short for the true art pro but for everyone else, this is an excellent art set at an excellent value.

This is a great kit for anyone looking to try their hand at color sketching and watercolor. I was excited to have metallic pencils AND watercolor pencils all in one kit, but this adds the benefit of graphite, charcoal, and all the tools to blend, sharpen, and add water so you can create images with no limit. I love the padded canvas zipper case too, and all the elastic holders. I like to travel with my art supplies, and this kit lets me easily add pencils and watercolor in one simple case. I am an acrylic painter but have gotten into more pre-sketch for plein air paintings, as well as looking to do thumbnail and mini sketches when I'm on the road so I can paint in more detail when I get home. This kit is perfect because it fits in my backpack and even comes with a sketch pad that also fits in the case. The package says its good for 3 years and up. There are a lot of small pieces, and sharp items in the kit, so that is questionable. But as a gift for someone looking to try out drawing, or someone who is already sketching and drawing but looking to expand to colored pencils and watercolor this is definitely a great way to do it.
One thing I was curious about with this kit was the range of metallic pencils. I've seen metallics that aren't all that shiny. The ones included in this kit offer a sheen and sparkle. The watercolor pencils offer a nice solid amount of color, and when you add water, you can blend and fade just like you'd do with actual watercolor paint. I love that the kit also provides blades for sharpening, a water pen/brush, and a variety of graphite pencils and charcoals.

This is a perfect set for an art student who works in pencil, charcoals and watercolor.
It includes graphite pencils across the full hardness spectrum, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, and charcoals also. All the materials are high quality, the pencils sharpen smoothly without breaking, the colored pencils draw, fill and blend smoothly, the watercolor pencils are easy to work with, and the charcoals don't crumble.
Every blending tool I could want is here. Multiple diameter stomps (blending sticks) are included, and all of them are firm. A palette knife with a supply of blending sponges is also included, as well as a blending pencil, eraser pencil, and kneaded eraser. There's even a good quality water brush for use with the watercolor pencils.
The included, spiral bound pad has paper sheets in white, tan and black. None of the pages are watercolor paper, they're a bond paper that can't take big washes of paint, but they stand up to small touches of watercolor without buckling too badly.
The elasticized loops hold their items firmly. The zippered case is high quality, with rigid sides and a smooth running zipper, and the pad fits inside. Great value, recommend!
