I am very happy with this Hiseeu camera system. I bought the open box they had and it came with everything it was supposed to come with. I already had a wired system so the wires were already in place so my installation was very quick. The cameras wanted to restart every time I opened the app. It was a wifi connection issue, I think, because my new router automatically switches between 2.4 and 5 ghz so I think that was the issue. The app updated and no longer seems to be a issue. Camera quality is great up close. A little fuzzy when you zoom in on far away things. I wanted to add a ptz camera on my other system but I would have had to run extra wires. This system came with 8 ptz cameras that operate through the existing bnc cables. I couldn't be happier. For the price this is a above entry level system. Not top end but is definitely worth the investment.

This device requires their app for remote viewing so I feel it is important to share why I returned this item.
TOS states any disputes must be filed in court in China.
If they change from free to paid they have the right to stop service and see compensation under their law.
To connect to WiFi you must first connect to the NVRs WiFi (it doesn’t have a WiFi signal). To connect you must wait 5 minutes “or longer” and wait for the light to turn green. There is no green light.
So far I can only watch remotely if I am on the exact same WiFi router. I am unable to connect anywhere else even with 1gb WiFi at home.
Picture quality is excellent. PTZ is cumbersome but functions as described. One way audio (you can not speak to anyone). “Old style” twist & lock cables (these have a proven track record of breaking easily).
App is the main reason for return. Since the app must be used it is essentially part of the product. Do your homework before you buy. This product may suit your needs but it most definitely did not suit mine.

Great system. Amazing pictures. No need to pay for a subscription since it comes with a dvr/hub. Worth the price. We were lucky that it plug and played with our old hard wired security system. We opted not to use Bluetooth technology with fear of frequency jammers in the area.

Great cameras, no batteries to replace. This is a no-nonsense system with all of the basics- privacy zones, date and time stamped video with playback, external access (you provide the internet if desired), and great 4K cameras.

We wanted a camera system that didn't require a subscription but allowed record and playback this system works great for that. Installation is easy, the cameras have screw holes on top and back to choose either under the eaves or against the wall installation. The app for remote viewing is very handy, multiple users can access to view any activity. The manual explains step by step how to set up. The image quality is really good both day and night. The pan tilt works amazing. I can move the cameras right or left and they are able to capture activities down the street. I can also move them down to see anything on the ground. The night vision looks good even in black and white. We set the cameras closer to our house with the night color vision. A bright light turns on and captures everything as if its daylight.

I am a builder and prefer this wired system over WiFi for its reliability and speed. It’s easy to setup, the VCR has plenty of storage, motion detection and the app allows remote control. Highly recommended.

So i wanted to try the new version. It's totally an upgrade of the camera. It is not only very easy to install but also have a very reliable and intuitive software.
I recomend use it, because also i had some configuration questions and the service was very kindly helping me

I upgraded from an older Hiseeu system, and the motion detection improvements on this model are excellent. The intelligent person and vehicle detection is vastly improved and does a much better job distinguishing real activity from false alarms like shadows, insects, spider webs, and branch movement.
This has been particularly noticeable at my driveway entrance where my older system would frequently trigger alerts from moving branches, changing light conditions, or spider webs near the camera. The newer AI detection is far more accurate and reliable, and alerts are now focused much more on actual people or vehicles entering the property instead of constant nuisance notifications.
For me, the motion detection improvements alone made this upgrade worthwhile.

This product is super amazing and super easy to setup. Also I had a minor issue 3 months after purchase and Hiseeu technical support was phenomenal to address the network issue. Hiseeu sent me a brand new replacement DVR, next day delivery, plugged in my network and voila! Everything worked. I commend Hiseeu technical support for their amazing support and able to respond quickly to address the issue. This company is great and will buy more of their products without hesitation. Thank you

System is pretty easy to install. Cameras are easily adjustable. I dont like the fact the hard drive makes a loud noise and evry day when switching from night to day and vice versa tha cameras GET STUCK and glitches and makes a horrible noise on the live. So everyday I have to unplug and replug it up for the cameras to switch between night and day!! It really is not convenient doing that. The picture clarity is awesome. Only the day/night switcher is major issue!!!

I installed the system a month ago. Very easy installation, I have worked with CCTV for many years and am very familiar with different types of systems. I went with an analog instead of Poe because of the cost difference and being a residential application there's not much difference in the quality of picture.
I love the white light feature, it turns what would normally be black and white at night into color and also a nice little light on the outside of the house never hurt. My wife loves it because of the security but I also enjoy looking at the wildlife at night. I did have a question and the customer service was great. They got back with me the same day and resolved my questions quickly. The app is a great feature and we find ourselves using that more than the unit itself. Very easy to set up. Would highly recommend this. For the cost you will never find anything of this quality.

This is the second Hiseeu Security System I have purchased for my house, had I not been smarter I would have purchased a 16 camera system. Still I Love my Hiseeu Security Systems !! Being a disabled senior citizen I had a friend help me install the cameras due to using a ladder to install the cameras, After that it was very user friendly and the customer support was top notch as Fardeen helped me with all I needed !!! This product is amazing and the customer service is spectacular! I already connected all the cameras and they work amazing, audio and video is clear. It was easy to install. One camera came missing so I contacted customer service and they responded quickly and helped solve the issue. I added a photo below of how it looks during night time. Had them over a year now through rain and snow and it still works perfectly. The image quality is pretty good too and especially during the night with infrared.

I was greatly disappointed by this product when the cameras were installed. Before I purchased this item, I made sure to read the features that the camera system offers and I read through the different reviews for this camera system. When the cameras were installed most of the features that the company said the cameras had were not working. On the day when the cameras were installed, there were a lot of defects; the second camera out of the eight cameras had "no signal", when night came the footage was in black and white and not colored vision like what the system said it would have when I read through the features before purchasing, the night lights don't switch on when there is human or vehicle movements in the night time and the cameras were installed in the month of May and in July one day when the rain fell after the rainfall the camera number 8 out of the eighth cameras started glitching badly and it is still the same to this day. I felt deceived and defeated because a lot of money was spent to purchase the cameras. I live in Jamaica, so I have to spend more money to buy the products online due to the exchange rate and then more money was spent to pay the shipping company in Jamaica for their service and to receive the package. Also, if a product is not good, it's not easy to return the product to America in exchange for a better product. I would have to go through a long process to get the product sent back to America. Money is not easy to get in these times that we're living in and when you make the sacrifice with your hard earned money to purchase an item and you receive the item with alot of defects and it cannot be easily returned due to your location, it makes me as a customer feel defeated and not want to purchase the same product or other products from the company.

camera system works great, one camera with the wide lens they use covers the entire inside of the shop. customer service was very helpful with setup questions. getting online to view cameras was quick and easy, over all the system is a budget friendly setup that looks like you paid a lot more for. we get about 6 weeks of coverage with the setup and could not be happier.

I purchased this system about 6 month ago and the hard drive is already dead. The system stopped recording and the drive status is ABNORMAL. When I tried to format it, it can't even find it. TOTAL GARBAGE.

Update 2/13/2026 : I just updated my WiFi modem and now I cannot connect wirelessly what so ever, only works locally (from home) it will not connect to my new network. I do not recommend this security system !
Have bought cameras within the same price range with better functionality with their app, connectivity & mobility of the cameras. I like trying new things out, & these looked fair so i gave it a shot. The app they use is incredibly useless, it never works even with wired internet connection. The mobility of the cameras is horrible, they only move side to side, (left to right compared to Anke cameras that have 360 turn range) which means I have to see one of my cameras on the tv screen with my head tilted to the left do to this issue, incredibly frustrating.
If you need something you need to see while you are away, invest elsewhere this is better off for plug in purposes only, not wireless occasions.
The only pro is, it records 24/7 and has 930 gb storage not exactly 1Tb as advertised

1. Pros:
* Pictures are very clear with good motion detection.
* Motion detection at night in color with camera flashlight turned on in Guard Viewer app.
* Value for the money
* The Guard Viewer app is user friendly.
2. Cons:
* On system restart, the camera connecting to A8 system connector sometimes keeps video flickering. Restarting the system one or several times fixes the issue. The issue will reappear when restarting the system again. Swapping A8 connector with a known working cable and camera won't resolve the issue.
Update: The latest firmware that I received on 12/04/24 resolves the video flickering on system restarting test.
* Unable to collect system backup or Diagnosis Info with system console. The system exports backup or diagnosis information successfully to a usb. As soon as usb is removed from the system, the exported file size is zero (not usable). See attached pictures for exported file size when a usb in the system, and the zero file when removing the usb and then reinserting the usb.
For a work around on diagnostic info collection issues, use Guard Viewer->Devives->...->Export Diagnostic Info.
3. Customer support:
I have been contacted with Hiseeu support since Nov 20, 2024 through email.
Hiseeu customer support is very good. The customer service follows through the issues and works with Hiseeu engineers to resolve the video flickering issue.
Overall, I give a five star review: four star for this camera system plus one star for the help and responses from Hiseeu customer support.
