Wanted to say how pleased I am with my 3D hologram fan. I just got it mounted on my wall and installed the phone and PC apps for control over the fan. This thing is sooooo cool to watch. I have it on the wall in my office and I am just mesmerized by 3D videos. I'm getting ready to download more to use on the fan. I have always wanted one of these and I have always been attracted to lights, color and movement all my life. Great for relaxation and just plan fun....

Quick easy set up and disassembly, app is easy to follow, directions are very clear. Well worth it.
If you are considering a 3D Holographic Fan, I highly recommend ordering it from right here. We are very satisfied. Delivered before the expected date. Works great and is easy to set up and disassemble for storage. Also, this company went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied, they answered all my questions very professionally. Great for advertising or promoting, and also for parties. The 3D effect is amazing, and it can create a spinning video logo from a photo in minutes. Be sure to order a display stand for mounting. Very powerful. The coloring is exactly the shade we wanted. Not noisy at all. Great value for your money. Well worth it. You will not be unsatisfied.

Cool Tradeshow Display Item
Great product and great customer service. Buy the fan cover to cut down on noise. Their tech support even helps you with graphics - you just use the email provided in the instructions.

Noise level makes the fan unusable in normal environment.
I originally left a glowing review for this item, and it IS very cool. The image is sharp, the colors vivid and it’s very bright, however, the noise level has become unbearable. This went from a a low roar to the sound of a full on industrial job site fan. I have this mounted to the wall in my office, and it’s impossible to use the phone, have a conversation, enjoy music or hear the computer audio while it’s running. I started looking for acrylic enclosures for it but they cost twice as much as the fan itself! It’s a shame because it really DOES look cool, but the noise is too much of a dealbreaker. Unfortunately, I will be returning it.

Quality, easy to use, frustration free and just plain cool
Edit: I slapped together a video showing the fan in operation in my game room. Of course, the video doesn't do the fan justice. The poor quality is from my camera and not the fan as you can see by the other stuff in the video and I got rid of as much background noise as possible. The sounds heard are coming from an inexpensive Bluetooth speaker. (Removing the background noise affected the speaker sounds.)
I’ve had a model 50X holographic fan in my game room for years. This F60 fan is a very nice upgrade.
I know, this is a long review, but it will likely answer most if not all of your questions if you’ve been considering purchasing one of these devices. (I love these things and this is the best one I’ve owned yet!)
First of all, the F60 is a bit larger than my old fan. Not hulking intrusively huge, but a nice size. My older fan always seemed a bit small. The resolution on this holographic fan is very nice. Sharp and bright. Whatever content you upload to this fan you’ll want use a higher resolution. Trust me. You can tell the difference if your content is low quality. The fan is just that good.
The fan comes with a small preinstalled micro SD card. Easily removable, but securely installed into the side of the fan. More on this SD card later. Assembly of the fan is super easy. Older models required using tiny screws to attach each LED blade individually. No more. The blades on this fan just snap in securely. There are two buttons on either side where you install each blade. Slightly push these buttons down simultaneously (not pushed in), slip the blade into the slot and release the buttons. Do this for each of the four blades and this fan is assembled.
The mounting hardware works perfectly except the hardware to screw it to the wall seems to be meant for trade show or business use. Without going into detail, if you are installing this at home, you will need several large screws to anchor it to the wall. No big deal. I’ve had to do the same thing for every holographic fan I’ve ever owned. Once the mount is on the wall you just slide the fan onto the mount from the top down. There is no chance of the fan coming off of the mount, but there is a small set screw provided that keeps the fan solidly mounted.
When you power up this fan it powers up fast! It is up to speed and displaying videos within seconds. There are a number of sample videos included and already installed on the fan which will start playing immediately, but you will soon be loading your own videos with ease. You can do this three different ways.
1. Use an app you install on your phone. (I just use an old phone and just leave that in my game room.)
2. You can install the application on you PC and do pretty much anything you can do with the phone app.
3. You can use the a fore mentioned micro SD card by removing it from the fan (after turning it off) and slipping it into a slot on your PC and put your videos directly to the card. If you don’t have a micro SD slot then you will need an adapter.
The phone app:
My old fan used an app called 3D Magic which worked pretty well. This fan uses a newer app that can be downloaded by scanning a QR code in the manual. The app easily connects to the fan via the fan’s own wifi. It maintains a good connection and has a very good response time. You do something on the app and it happens on the fan without hesitation. Create or download videos as desired, move them to your phone and use your phone to upload videos to the fan. Videos are crooked? The app can adjust the angle. The app will also adjust video brightness as well as volume if you have connected a Bluetooth speaker to the fan. You use the app to do all this and I accomplished it with no problem.
The PC application:
It does pretty much everything the phone app does. It can connect to the fan’s wifi and upload videos with ease. This is an option I didn’t have (or at least was never able to get to work) with my previous fan or app, but it works great and is easy to do. Probably more useful for a trade show application, but if you have more than one fan you can use the included splice feature. It will connect multiple fans and sync them up to act like one unit to display a larger picture. The PC app also includes the manual accessed simply by clicking the Help tab. (A paper manual is also included with the fan.)
The SD card:
After removing the card from the fan and inserting it into your PC’s slot you can export videos to it using the PC application. I tried it just to try it and it worked with no issue. Actually, all three methods worked for me flawlessly.
I’ve found the easiest method of transferring video to the fan is to use the PC application for uploading. No transferring content to your phone first and no messing with the SD card. Granted, you will have to disconnect from your homes wifi and connect to the fan’s wifi to upload videos, (the fan does not connect to your homes router), but that’s only a temporary thing. I don’t know the range of the fan’s wifi, but my fan is in the game room and I connect my PC to it from my bedroom which is on the other side of the living room and the connection is solid. I use the PC app to upload content and the phone to control the fan from then on. Of course, the fan also comes with a remote control with the basic functions of starting, stopping, skipping through videos etc.
What type of files, pictures and video will the fan display? That would be - ftlv, jpg, jpeg, png, bmp, mp4, avi, mov, wmv, mkv, rm, rmvb, mpg, mpeg and flv files. I think that pretty much covers it. Even better, unlike older or less sophisticated models, you don’t have to do any file conversion. No more struggling to convert your picture or video to the bin format. Just upload the file as is and enjoy.
An interesting feature is the “projection” mode found on both the Android and PC applications. (For some reason it’s not on the iPhone app at this time.) Activate this feature on your phone and you will be live streaming your phones screen to be displayed on the fan in real time and you can do the same from your PC. When I’m not running videos on the fan I simply project a clock from my phone which is displayed on the fan.
Another neat feature found in the PC app is being able to set a start and stop time for the fan. Instead of letting the fan run 24/7 or having to manually power it up and down it would be nice to have it power on and off automatically at set times. Unfortunately, I was unable to find instructions for this, but it was easy enough to figure out. On the PC app I simply set it up in “settings” using the 24 hour format. Want to start at 10:00AM? Enter 10 00. Want it to power off at 10:00PM? Enter 22 00. Easy enough. I tested it and it worked flawlessly. It’ll make sense when you see it. There is also a timer option I’ve yet to try where individual videos can be set up to run at certain times of the day, multiple times or to not run at all.
Exclusive to the phone apps is a feature that allows you to 3D animate text and pictures. It’s pretty basic, but pretty neat. We’ve all got those electronic photo frames that show a slide show of pictures. Here you can set up one or more spinning/rotating cubes with a different picture on each side as well as other options. Yeah, pretty cool!
I’ve had various holographic fans for years. Believe me, I’ve had some battles getting things to cooperate and work right. It can be very frustrating. That’s not the case here. I found this fan and the applications to be high quality and easy to use. It seems like a crap shoot when buying these things. You never know what you’re going to get. All that goes out the window with this fan. My only problem is, “What am I going to do with my old fan?” Simple, I’ll load it up with appropriate videos and use it as a topper on one of my pinball machines.
If you’re considering something like this for a trade show, a business or just for home use at parties, in your game room etc. then you won’t be disappointed with this guy. I highly recommend it.
