Loved this... until the cord insulation cracked and shocked me after 3 months.

Great results no more pain.

Bought the homedics in the early 90s and im still using it. I turn it upside-down on the floor and use it on the bottom of my feet for planters fichitis. The results are great.

Cheap junk

It broke it under 6 months. Specifically it broke at the neck joint

I'm not shocked because I know quality in all products has gone down the drain. I had high hopes for home medics brand because I bought one in 2012 that lasted for a decade. Unfortunately their quality has really really suffered since then. It's probably best to avoid this product if you can afford to upgrade to a better model because you will have to buy a replacement twice a year anyway.

it works perfect i love how it works

No heat.

Massages great. Heat part doesn't work. I've only had it for a day. I keep trying to convince myself the heat part is working but it's not. The button shows that the heat is on. But nothing ever heats up. So sad. I would return it but I want the massage part. And I don't want to have to wait again I have a knot in my neck like no other.

Bought this to replace a much older version that had worked for many years. This one shuts in less than 30 seconds and won’t turn on again for a while. Not useful. I need a bit more to loosen up. Going in the trash.

Plenty of power with four speeds.

I like the power which gives deep massage, power button a bit awkward to push, and must loop up thru vibrator levels to get to a lower level. No reverse. Good value for its cost.

UPDATE : DECEMBER 2024: MASSAGER HAS STOPPED WORKING. POWER BUTTON WHICH I REPORTED EARLIER TO BE DIFFICULT TO PUSH WILL NOT TURN ON VIBRATOR. MY NEW RATING HAS CHANGED FROM 4 STARS TO ONE STAR.. UNIT IS WORTHLESS. Since the unit was beyond the return date I decided to open it up to see if I could find the reason it would not turn on.. three of the four feed wires to the vibrator head had disconnected. Apparently a bad weld on all of them. Obviously this area has a tremendous amount of vibration/stress on connections, and these three failed as a result. Design engineer should have known better. Poor planning and construction.

Love it and old model lasted me 15 years

Just what is needed after a long day at work. Good handle design and 4 speeds with heat is improvement on old model.

Built to last

The homedics massager on the left has been with me, since 2002 and has never failed or broke. It’s so old, the stem is held together with tape, but it works perfectly. I recently bought the updated version and it’s just as great. The stem is one piece, unlike the old version, so it won’t snap after several decades of use. This is an excellent product and, for me, has proven it will last.

Good massager

We had a similar massager, just a different brand. This one is very good. We use the non-slip attachments that were on the massager when we purchased it. We like to massage our legs, buttocks and belly.

Works On Cats

Bought this to replace an ancient Homedics massager. Much lighter than the previous one. I use this on my cat. He LOVES being massaged with this. Not as strong in vibration as the previous one which is good in this case. Seems to be sturdy, only time will tell. Works good on my cat. Might have to buy one of these for me. :)

USED - Smells like testicles

Though sold as new, I was given a clearly used item. Used on someone's genitals, then returned and sold to me. And now "no returns, no refunds"..........

Bulky and hard to use

As a massager it works as it should. However, it is heavy, noisy, and just overall a hassle to use. Don't even try to keep it in place on your back or legs. After a couple of weeks, I picked up a HoMedics There-P massager at Bed, Bath & Beyond (pic included in review), and I couldn't be happier with that one. Sometimes more simple and easier to use is the way to go.

Easily breaks in half at the handle.

There is a major design flaw in the handle’s neck that breaks easily into sharp plastic shards that could cut easily through skin..

How did I get through life without this?

When I tell you, this is one of the best investments I've made! I'm a long distance runner and this definitely helps loosen up my muscles before and after my morning runs. I love how it really gets the bones and releases a lot of built up tension. I also work at a chiropractor office and we use this for MFR treatments so I decided to buy one for the house. By far one of my favorite gadgets from homedics!
