Disappointed!!!

Bought 4 of these fans and loved them! But this one is a disaster!! When it turns on it's crooked! And am so disappointed!

outdoor ceiling fan

I'm loving this fan, it's beautiful and works perfect. I've only had it for two weeks so only time will tell. I installed it in my patio renovation so we will see how it hold ups to the Florida humidity and storms.

Gorgeous fan!

Update:

I had issues connecting my iPhone to the Tuya app. Here is how to do it:

- Turn off the power from the switch for 5-10 seconds. (The power button on the remote is not used.)

- Turn the power back on, then turn the fan on via one of the fan speed buttons (Marked in the photo with the green circle). Immediately afterward, press and hold the fan off button (Blue circle). It will beep, and you're in pairing mode.

This review is for the Homlit - Smart Ceiling Fan no Light, 52 Inch Outdoor Ceiling Fan Without Light, Compatible with Alexa/Google/App, 3 Solid Wood Blades, Modern Wood Fan for Patio, Bedroom, Living Room, Black. First off, this is a beautiful fan. I love the solid wood blades. They are light-weight, but feel durable. It not only moves a lot of air and has 6 settings, but it also looks good and is very quiet. The way it mounts is just like every other fan. Just remember to place the decorative/screw hider (goes on the underside of the black mount that covers the mounting bracket) and the cone-shaped pieces on before connecting the fan's motor. I didn't want lights, but I was surprised to find that you cannot add them to this fan. It does not have wiring if you wanted to add one. It comes with three drop-down rods, allowing you to adjust the fan's height as needed. Those rod lengths are 5", 10", and 15". It has a remote but can also be controlled via an app or voice commands. I have a motorized TV mount that uses the Tuya app. So it is nice that this fan uses it as well. Overall, I love its looks and quality. This ceiling fan was listed for $162.44 when I got it.

Modern, Quiet and Perfect for a Clean Look

This 52-inch smart ceiling fan without light is exactly what we were looking for.

The black finish and solid wood blades give it a very modern, high-end look that instantly elevates the space.

I love that it doesn’t include a light, it keeps the ceiling clean and minimal, especially if you already have recessed lighting.

The three wood blades look beautiful and feel sturdy, not cheap or flimsy.

Installation was straightforward, and once set up, the fan runs very quietly.

Even at higher speeds, it maintains strong airflow without making distracting noise.

It’s perfect for a bedroom, living room, or even a covered patio.

The smart compatibility is a big plus. Being able to control it with Alexa, Google, or the app makes it super convenient, especially when adjusting speed without getting up.

Overall, this is a sleek, functional, and modern ceiling fan that combines design and performance beautifully.

Stylish!

This is an extremely well made fan. The blades look like real wood, and the weight suggests it's very well made. The installation was quite simple, and it even came with styrofoam to help protect the fan during the installation. It came with 3 lengths of poles to hand from the ceiling, I used the smallest one as I don't have a vaulted ceiling. It is hard wired into an on/off switch, and needs a (very large) remote to control the speed. The remote comes with a mount that I installed near the light switch. I got the model with no light, and it has a sleek metal covering that can be removed if I later want to install a light receptacle. Absolutely worth the money, highly recommend.

Easy to install, works exactly as expected

We ordered to replace an older fan in our guest bedroom. My husband had the installation finished in less than 20 minutes including taking the older fan down. The installation was easy and straightforward with no surprises.

It does not contain a light kit. The fan blades are wood and have a nice dark cherry finish. The blades are the perfect length for an average sized bedroom and this fan comes with several downrod lengths to choose from. In the video, we used the shortest downrod.

The remote works as expected and comes with batteries. In the video, you'll hear how quiet the fan is when it is running.

A nice quality fan for a good price as compared with other similar options.

This fan completes my area

This 52" fan was pretty easy to install and has the airflow and low noise I was looking for. I love how classy it looks and just adds to the look we were going for. Its not too light weight, but sturdy and the included remote is nice to have instead of unsightly pull cords hanging down.

Ceiling fan

This ceiling fan is very stylish and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. It was a little difficult to assemble, but I took my time and made it through the difficult part of adding the arms. It’s quiet even at the highest setting. The remote control makes it easy to change the speeds and wind direction. I was not able to get it to connect to my WiFi nas the instructions included 2 different apps which both didn’t work. All in all I love the fan but a little disappointed that it isn’t as ‘smart’ as it’s advertised to be.

Quiet, Smart, and Perfect for the Bedroom

Replaced our old bedroom fan with this smart one and I’m very happy with it. It’s very quiet, even on higher speeds, and perfect for sleeping. The app, remote, and voice control all work great and are easy to use. I like being able to set a timer and change speeds without getting up. The wood blades look really nice and make the room feel more modern. Installation was simple and didn’t take long. Airflow is strong but smooth. Overall a great upgrade and worth it.

Nice

A stylish and modern fan that really sets off a room. The install is easily accomplished with the included instructions. The fan itself is a close resemblance to an old school prop from an airplane, which makes for a good conversation piece. It is made with quality materials and moves a massive amount of air on top speed.

Great fan that works with the SmartLife app and Home Assistant

This Smart Ceiling Fan (52-inch, Walnut) from Homlit replaced another ceiling fan on our outdoor covered patio. This fan looks nicer, it moves more air, and it integrates with my home automation system.

The fan is very easy to assemble and all of the parts fit together perfectly. The instructions are not the best, but I have already installed six fans similar in design in our home, so I already knew what to expect. After installation, you need to pair the remote to this fan by following the steps in the instructions. The pairing happened immediately and this fan worked perfectly. The six speeds give you the ability to select the perfect comfort level for your conditions. The highest speed is strong enough to keep the bugs away and keep you comfortable without being too windy. The fan can easily be reverse to change the air direction and there are three timer settings for one, four, and eight hours.

One of the main reasons I wanted to change to this fan, was because of its ability to integrate with an app and my home automation system. The instructions tell you that it integrates with the “Tuya” app, but I use the “HomeLife” app which works almost identically. I tried to integrate with HomeLife on the first day, but for some reason, had no success. I then tried the Tuya app and it immediately integrated once I put the fan in pairing mode. I was not satisfied having to have two different apps on my Android phone, so I messaged Homlit to ask about HomeLife compatibility. They responded quickly and let me know that their fan does work with the HomeLife app. I removed the Tuya app from my phone the next day and tried pairing with HomeLife. This time, the fan connected right away! Once I got the fan on HomeLife, I reloaded the Tuya add-on in Home Assistant and now I have control from that automation system.

This fan looks and works beautifully and I am very happy with the ability to integrate with the HomeLife app and Home Assistant.
