This thing is AWESOME!!! I have used SO many different massagers, TENS units, and other specialty forms of pain relief but none compare to this.
My chiropractor has a few types of massagers and percussers that he uses, and added this one recently. I was facedown and exclaimed, "What IS that?! It's perfect!" the first time he used it on me 😆!
The quality of this is apparent as soon as you open the box. It has a sturdy case to keep it safe and to store the accessories, which is really nice. Since the massager has some weight to it, having the case feels necessary. (You'll understand when holding it. It feels like a high quality instrument that SHOULD be stored in a case.)
This is heavier any other massagers I've tried and that's a great thing. Imagine an adult giving a neck massage versus a five-year-old; there's no comparison. The weight allows the vibrations to penetrate deeper. With others, I have had to press down, making my hand almost numb from the vibration. The weight as well as the higher frequency (amount of vibrations per second) of this mean that your whole hand and arm don't vibrate uncomfortably while holding it. That alone is huge.
Huge Bonus value: the booklet that comes with it showing where to massage for specific pains. Not everyone understands what "differed pain" is. That's where the place that hurts isn't where the problem is. Sciatic pain down the back of the leg is actually from a low back injury. The booklet shows the painful area, them where to actually massage it, and which type of knob or accessory to use.
Conclusion: For the price of a professional massage you can get professional results at home any time. Get this and you'll be as eager to give a review as I am.

I have been a massage therapist for 21 years and love this tool as an addition to my sessions. It’s my go to tool for working on my own hands to relieve stiffness and pain. Highly recommend it for pain relief or as a pre-gym warm up!

This little sucker packs a punch. Tremendous amount of vibration for such a small little device.
I work with my hands for a living so I use the lowest setting on my hands after work.
I also have chronic plantar fasciitis so I use it around the edge of my foot. Immediate relief after a short session. I can't wait to see what the long-term effects are. Hopefully I can end this chronic issue.
Look forward to using it for any other issues that pop up with muscles in the future.

Everyone has a percussion gun, but vibration is a new tool for muscle therapy. I love using tools for myself or on my clients. This Hyako R1 is deep and area-specific when using it. No need to rattle the eyes out of your socket when using on the shoulders. Feels great on the hands, forearms and so many other places. If I write a review, it's because I HATE it or LOVE it. I really like this product. Easy to carry around when traveling. Highly recommend getting this massage tool.

I actually love this massager. It’s well built and really helped with sore areas. However, after a full charge, the battery died after less than 30 minutes of accumulated use the first day. The instructions says it should last 5-6hrs, so I guess I got a lemon.

This works as advertised. The muscles release tension immediately and throughout the day after use.

Hands down better than your typical massage gun! Watch my video for my full review. Very happy with this. And a much smaller footprint than your standard massage guns!

This is a nice massage device. I like the 3 headed design as it allows me to easily switch to different focus points depending on the muscle or the issue I’m working on. It also comes with 2 small foam “ball” attachments that you can easily slip onto the chrome tip to give you another massage option.
The motor is strong, it’s fairly easy to hold and operate. 5 increasing intensities at the push of a button. USB-C charge with a charge cord included.

This is a really good device for massaging and moving fascia and soft tissue. It has a large rubberized head that is great for the back and glute area as well as the thighs. Because of the design the head gets warm, and that warmth adds to the effectiveness of the massage. it is extremely strong. It goes from 5500 to 7000 RPMs. I keep it on the first level, and that is strong enough for me. It is very easy to hold as there is a rubberized thumb grip. It has two other heads that are excellent for getting knots out and addressing trigger points. As with any massage type gun, be very careful when using this over bony prominences, especially with the smaller heads, as they can bounce and cause injury. I actually do use the large rubber head over the bones, but I use two hands, and I only do it to myself. It is very effective and really helps work out soft tissue problems. It is not silent, but not crazily loud. I measured it at 89 dB right on top of it and 61 when I am using it on my back and the meter is in front of me.
It comes with a good quality hard shell case, a USB charging cord, and a small manual. the only issue I have is that the packaging and instruction manual could have been a lot better. For an item that is priced at $129, a bit more on the instructions and more thought regarding the packaging is warranted. I won’t dock it a star, though because it really is a good item. it would make a great gift.

I’ve been having this pain and tightness in my arm so I decided to try this massager. It really gets in there and works out the kinks. I like the round padded attachment the best, but they all worked well on different areas depending on your need. I don’t mind the sound since I’m feeling the immediate effects of the device loosening up my muscles and stress points. I’ve been using it anytime I remember and have a few minutes and it’s definitely helping with my soreness and aches. One charge lasts a long time and it came with a nice storage case.
