Great for multitasking and easy to carry

I mainly use it for work, and the three-screen setup has made multitasking so much easier. I can keep different things open on each screen instead of constantly switching back and forth. I also like using the mirror mode when I want a bigger view of the same content. The rear stands are easy to adjust, and the carrying case keeps the screens and cables nicely organized. It’s also much lighter to carry than I expected. Honestly, I can’t imagine working without it now!

Not built for longterm use

I've had this less than 6 months and now one of the screens won't turn on. It didn't even show any glitching, just wouldn't turn on one day. I thought it was a connection issue with the cables, but it won't turn on even when I switch to another cable. Even when both extenders were working, it wasn't always easy to set up, because the cables plug in from the bottom of the center console, which can limit the type of laptop stand or positioning you can use with the extender on. It would have make more sense to put cables from the side or the top. Really disappointed as this wasn't cheap and now I no longer have a 3 screen option when I'm traveling or away from the house.

Connections loosen very easily!

I like the way this fits my laptop but connecting it and keeping it connected has been a pain. The connections are at the bottom and it causes the connection to bend then it keeps falling out and my computer goes on battery. One side doesn’t work at all. When it is working it’s nice but I have to check constantly to keep it connected.

LOVE IT! It's worth it.

I went through three different laptop extenders before finding this one, and it’s by far my favorite. It fits perfectly on my 15.6" MacBook Pro and makes it easy to move from indoors to outdoors in just a few minutes. The screens are very light, cause no strain on my laptop, and the picture quality is bright and clear.

The only thing I wish it had is a lock for the back kickstand, since it can shift once extended. Other than that small detail, this extender is excellent—lightweight, easy to use, and works seamlessly with my setup.

I received this triple monitor for laptop 3 days after I bought it. I used it since I received it and it’s such a game changer for me. I used this for job because it requires me to multitask and the product actually helped a lot and saved some space on my desk. It is very easy to install and setup because of its lightweight. What could be the perfect screen extender!

The Hyangin S8 14" Laptop Screen Extender is the best screen extender I have come across! I have a dual screen extender that I use with my gaming laptop (I use it when I have my work laptop hooked up to my home system with three monitors). I use the Hyangin S8 14" Laptop Screen Extender with my 14" LG laptop that I use for non-gaming purposes.

The Hyangin S8 14" Laptop Screen Extender is ultra-thin and lightweight and matches 14" laptops perfectly. It is designed to work with 13" to 17.3" laptops but the screen size makes it perfect for 14" laptops. The screen extender really is ultra-thin at only 4.5mm thick (the screen only portion) and is lightweight at only 0.6KG (1.3 lbs). The S8 has a 14" IPS panel that is HD with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate and has vibrant colors with its 100% sRGB rating. The screen will tilt from 0-180° and the stand part adjusts from 0-90°. You can use it to get the perfect viewing angle.

The S8 is made from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy with a matte finish which resists fingerprints and looks pretty dang cool. It comes with dual full-function Type-C ports and a Type-C (DP Alt Mode) port which support Smartisan TNT, EMUI, and DeX (with power). It hooks up to your laptop with a single USB-C cable (as long as your laptop has a full-function USB-C port) which makes it super convenient and easy to hook up. Some extenders I have seen need an additional power supply which means more cords and more equipment to carry. If you do hook it up to a power source, it will pass up to 100 watts to your laptop to keep it charged so you can hook the power up to the screen and hook the screen up to your laptop with full charging capability.

It has multiple "hooks" that hook onto and grab your laptop for a really secure connection. It has a spring loaded mechanism that allows you to pull it open and place it onto the laptop screen and it holds it very tight. It is one of the features that is a lot better than my dual screen extender I use with my gaming laptop as that one doesn't hook onto the laptop anywhere near as nice and secure as the S8 does. The S8 comes with a nice pouch to place it into when not in use which does a good job of protecting it.

The S8 connects perfectly to my laptop and I can move the screen as much as I want and even shake it and it stays connected to it. It makes it easy to adjust the screen and not have to worry about it faslling off or moving in ways it shouldn't. I like having multiple screens with my laptops and as I have said before, it pairs perfectly with my 14" laptop so I am extremely happy with the S8. It is an ultra-thin, lightweight, durable screen extender that anyone with a laptop should consider getting. I am most likely going to get their dual screen extender to use with my gaming laptop because of how happy and impressed I am with the single screen extender. What you get for the price is more than worth it and I can highly recommend the Hyangin S8 14" Laptop Screen Extender.

Works great as an attached second monitor with a few small issues

Here is what I liked about this:

It is very easy to set up. It gets power from your computer via USB. The color was great and was adjustable. Brightness also worked well for me in an indoor environment and was adjustable. Comes with cables for HDMI, USB c, and USB A. It has a kickstand in case your original screen can't hold it up on it's own. Stores in a nice little bag that has a solid slice to protect the screen.

What I didn't like:

The button to adjust the brightness and other settings is in the back middle and is hard to get to.

The speakers on it are not loud and are even more quiet because they come from behind your laptop screen. You can't really use this outside of a connection to the back of a laptop computer because the part that connects it to your computer is the size of the monitor and can't be detached (see pictures ).

Something to note is that because it used the laptop for power, it will reduce the amount of time your computer will be able to run on battery. You can also only use it on the right side.

Overall, I thought this was very cool if you need two screens on a laptop. If you are OK with the limitations I mention, then this works very well.
