I had to knock off two stars because it was unusable for professional recording in my case
While relatively easy to use - just download the drivers and the iO application and it will automatically detect your sound card - I had an issue that prevented me from making recordings with this. It's theoretically good for a podcaster or solo player, but it kept having static bursts. I tried different USB ports and the issue persisted. The other iCON product I used did not have this issue, so I do not think it is the software or my computer. So reliability was a bit of an issue.
Other than that, all of the functionality was there, it properly powered my +48V phantom mic and had plenty of volume for the headphones. One of the other design choices I found strange was putting the power button in the back. It needs to be powered on every time it's plugged in and this is kind of awkward, but really not a big deal. It's a great value, though, as finding something with low noise and high bitrate is rare.

Incredible Preamps for a budget interface!
I've never heard of iCON Pro before, but this is a gorgeous product and is built beautifully. Its tank-like all metal(right down to the volume knobs) and it has the look and feel of an Audient interface for half the price. It is replacing a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6, which has notoriously bad pre-amps and requires you to absolutely dime the gain knob to get any volume on a condenser mic.
This thing blows it out of the water! With the gain set to about 30% you get about the same output as the Scarlett, but its SO MUCH CLEANER. The interface itself can mostly be controlled in software using the ASIO driver package you download off the iCON Pro website and it works surprisingly well. It is also fully USB bus powered without needing outlet power so it would work well as a portable interface on the go.
Some handy features can be activated right on the interface itself, like the zero-latency input monitoring, Phantom power, and the Hi-Z(instrument) impedance switches. It would be nice if both of the inputs had full XLR support instead of just one XLR 1/4 combo and a single 1/4, but for the price I guess that is to be expected.
My only gripe about the design is the headphone and monitor volume knobs have no markings, so you're completely blind to what they are set to by looking at them. Kind of a strange oversight on something portable where the knobs could move in transit and give you a nasty volume spike in your headphones when you turn it on. Overall its a small issue on a great product. I can only hope iCON has good support if needed but I don't think you can go wrong for the price. The preamps themselves are better than is in any of the Scarlett products in this price range, and may even be slightly better than my Steinberg. If you're in the market don't hesitate!

Great interface for an instrument and XLR professional mic, with extras!
This is a capable audio interface with the highest power gain I've seen in a mic preamp, something that is actually useful when powering my decades-old professional Sennheiser 416 shotgun mic. The 48v XLR power works great and the gain is adjustable. This unit is plug and play on my Mac and it does have dual inputs (two mics or a mic and an instrument, for example). One bummer is that the inputs 1 and 2 gain share a knob, so you need to toggle by clicking the buttons to set the gain for each and see the visual indicator around the knob to see if it's in the green or clipping into the red. Just having that is great though and I think it's an amazing value in this product range. Also the active level meters are great for seeing the monitor output in realtime. This unit has dual headphone outs that can be used simultaneously, which can provide no-latency headphones for two musicians or podcasters, really useful when livestreaming! This unit also has a newer USB-C OTG connection for streaming a hifi quality computer mix out to another device like an ipad or phone. Overall I find this unit is great quality build. This also comes with a great suite of software including the Bitwig DAW and plugins from Tracktion and others (register the device on the Icon Pro Audio website to access these apps and tools). Recommended!

Compact USB audio interface delivering clean sound and simple controls for home recording setups
I’ve been using the iCON Pro Audio Panel 2 as a basic USB audio interface for recording and general audio work, and it performs reliably. Setup was straightforward on both PC and Mac, and it was recognized quickly without issues. The sound quality is clean and clear for vocals and instruments, making it suitable for home studios and simple recording projects.
The physical controls are easy to use, and the interface feels sturdy despite its compact size. It handles everyday recording and monitoring well, though it’s not packed with advanced features found on higher‑end interfaces. For its size and purpose, it delivers consistent performance and good value. Overall, it’s a dependable option for entry‑level to intermediate users.

Surprised and shocked at sound quality for a great price
Ok, Lets start with unpacking and quality of packing ensures no damage and everything you need in one small package. This has inputs for just about every need from music to podcasts. Unit is well made and heavy duty for any studio or on the go "issues". The sound quality is great for the price and ease of use for recording audio books and podcasts. Comes with PC interface cables and multiple headphone jacks that can be paired with a good mic and your off to the web or high end recordings. Great for starters and a great price and well worth it. Highly recommended. I have included pictures of front and back and it comes with easy to follow instructions.

ICON has created an interface that looks stunning, sounds awesome and stole my heart!
I have to admit that before ordering this interface I'd never heard of ICON and their product line. But after spending time on their (very nice) website I got the feeling I'd been missing out. They have a truly nice line of music and recording equipment that genuinely seems to be developed and marketed by people that actually care about the products they put out and the quality and even presentation. Their interfaces run from very affordable to their still affordable higher end line of products and this interface is no exception. In fact, I'm not exaggerating when I say I was a bit knocked over by how nicely this was packed, the classy presentation and actual build quality of this item itself. This is the ICON Pro Panel 2. This unit is a 24-bit, 192KHZ 2 in and 2 out analog interface used to connect instruments and sound sources to your PC or Mac so you can record them into a Digital Audio Workstation. The unit itself has a solid metal chassis that's literally the nicest construction I've ever seen on any interface with all inputs and outputs located on the front and back of the unit being super easy to access. The front panel has a standard 1/4 inch Hi-z instrument input, 1 combonation XLR-1/4inch input for microphones or a second instrument as well as a "UNI (OTG)" input which from what I can see will connect you to streaming services using a special cable which is also included. Also on the front are 2 headphones outs one being 1/4 the other 1/8 inch for multi person monitoring. VERY NICE! The unit has nice lit up, easy to see buttons on top for onboard +48v phantom power for condenser mics or Line input. The rear panel has the power button, USB-c 2.0 input, 5v DC USB-c input, 2 1/4 line outs to go to your monitors and an Airmic in. There are Master out and Headphones levels knobs on top as well as 2 input gain knobs and two REALLY NICE 9 segment LED level meters and a monitor button. Whew! The unit comes with ICON's very nice IO proprietary software which installs top your pc and allows you to tweak and access the interface's functions, set levels and really see what's going on levels-wise so you can avoid clipping and distortion in your tracks. Setup was the same as any other interface. Register your unit online to activate your warranty, update the unit's firmware, download your accessories and software, install the software, attach the interface, make sure they're communicating with one another and you're off and running. So far I have nothing but top marks for this unit and I've really only experimented with it for a few hours now. But it's actually very intuitive and easy to find your way around. I LOVE their IO software and after 2 years of headaches and hassles with a presonus revelator and their terrible universal control software I'm officially done and swapping it out for the Icon. Once it was connected, everything just worked. Studio one recognized the interface and everything was simple to navigate and understand. It also comes with a very thorough instruction literature that explained all functions and walks you through the entire setup process perfectly. Once everything was connected and running I gave it a basic walkthrough, connected both a guitar and then my Rode NT-1A microphone and checked the audio quality. And let me tell you I'm sold on this wonderful unit. The analog mic preamp is robust and warm, sounds absolutely terrific and the noise level was inaudible from what I could hear. Latency was so minimal at 44.1khz 64samples as to not be any issue and there was no static or breakup same with my guitar sims. Vocals sounded up front and present without any harshness or distortion whatsoever. My guitar went in the line level in and that's where the biggest difference was for me. It was SO EASY to dial in a strong, consistent, reliable signal without clipping due to those wonderful 9 segment LEDs on the top as well as their IO software with their nice big meters. And my heart sang. My guitar amp sims finally sounded the way they're supposed to and just never did before. I just cannot say enough good about this company, their quality control and the level their equipment sits at. It's actually completely top level stuff. Spend some time on their website and you instantly see they're different than other manufacturers. They really seem to care. And their line of equipment really does cover the entire spectrum from what i can see. From beginner to advanced. And all of it looks like quality gear that reflects the company's dedication to being above the basic, unreliable level so many others offer. I see myself staying with ICON from now on. They just absolutely won me over here. Their attention to detail and dedication to continually releasing better and better gear is something to grab on to. So few companies are doing it like this now. And I'm looking forward to actually seeing what comes next from them. Yes... This interface rocked my world.

A Studio Quality Audio Interface Ready Whenever You Are! Great Quality Sound!
As a Professional Stage & Lighting Technician, Sound & Studio Engineer, Professional Audio-Visual Production Specialist, DJ and Musician I'm always looking for the latest and greatest in Audio Tech Gear! Audio Interfaces such as the P2 Panel 2 from iCON are important to the overall sound and recording production process!
I can say right off the bat that I definitely do love the overall manufactur and construction of this actual product! The aluminum alloy chassis is absolutely beautiful and the knobs are exceptionally smooth and reactive! I also appreciate the illuminated LED metering which gives you precise monitoring of audio levels!
This unit also allows for a couple of options in terms of audio inputs! This unit has an input for a line level instrument via 1/4 Jack on the front of the unit! Therefore, you could easily plug in a keyboard or electric guitar! For Standard Microphones there's an XLR Female Port on the front as well where you can plug in a Mic via XLR!
They also conveniently provide both a Mini 1/8" and Standard 1/4" Headphone Jack in the front as well which allows you to plug in your headphones to monitor Sound!
On the Top of this unit there is a gain dial for the Line Level Instrument and the XLR Microphone! Please note that they also provide you with phantom power so if you are using a cardioid condenser mic which requires power you can utilize the +48 Volt button to enable power to it! Just beneath the phantom power button there is also an instrument button which you would press in situations where an instrument is being recorded!
Just below the instrument / microphone game Dial there is another dial which is the gain for Uni (OTG). Therefore if you are plugging in your cell phone or portable device into this unit this would be the gain dial for that!
In the top right corner you will see the master volume dial for this device and just below it will be the headphone gain dial for monitoring the sound! Speaking of monitoring the sound this convenient unit provides a nine LED meter in the center of this unit with a monitor button! Therefore if you want to monitor the sound you would depress the monitor button which enables you to hear and check the levels of the sound that this unit is processing!
For my review I used a Sennheiser microphone through this interface and into my MacBook pro! I can say that the sound quality in my opinion was exceptional and I was very pleased that a device such as this that is priced under $100 perform this well! Overall I found the sound quality from this unit comparable to a lot of more pricier units out on the market! I feel that this interface provides some of the best audio quality that I've seen on the market especially for a unit of this size! It's perfect for those that are studio engineers & musicians on the road that are looking to lay down some tracks while they're away from home!
I also feel this is a fantastic tool for most typical users looking for an affordable digital audio interface between their microphone and their laptop! The audio quality is quite exceptional and you will NOT be disappointed! Also the construction and attention to detail is second to none so I know this unit will provide many many years of good use!
For those of you that are podcasting then I think this would be an ideal product for those types of situations as you are getting great quality sound at a cost-effective price!
Therefore, based on my review I am rating this product five stars because I found it to be an excellent audio interface at a really cost-effective price which makes it approachable for most users without breaking the bank!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Make sure your windows 10 is updated for this card to work fully
edit: I did finally get support from the company, one of their programmers / cs was on vacation so I am making edits to this review.
The problem we figured out was that you need a newer version of windows 10 for this to work on windows 10, I was running an older version (1607) and thus couldn't get the drivers to work.
After I updated windows the drivers and software worked fine. so i'm changing to four stars. And i've used this for a while now, and so far no problems.

Great sound quality
I ordered this as an addition to my karaoke equipment . I had been having trouble with my speakers and microphones having feedback and intereference so I am using this as a go-between feed from the mixer ti the audio output . So far so good. It is a small investment for better sound quality especially when your livlihood depends on it.

Exceptional sound quality at a great price.
I was looking for a recording interface for use on the road and and which would work with my phone or iPAD and this certainly seemed to fit the bill, I had no trouble getting it to connect with my phone using the enclosed USB cable, which appeared to be very well shielded. I powered. It using a simple rechargeable power bank which gave enough energy for well over an hour’s use with both a mic and guitar plugged into the unit.
I really liked the sound quality of the recording which reputedly gave 24bit 192. kHz sound. The sound was excellent whether going directly through the USB OTG connection to the phone or through the left and right channel line out ports. I particularly liked the two headphone lack sockets which made monitoring the sound a breeze.
The addition of 48v phantom power made it possible to drive a variety of mics through the standard XLT input.
The controller dials were easy to operate and the led indicators were bright and easily seen at a distance. The adjustments by the controller were smooth and the sound responded instantly.
The unit was lightweight and easily portable. I thought the sound conversion from analogue to digital was exceptional. I experienced no glitches or interference. If I had one criticism it was that I would have liked a second XLR input for an additional mic that would be valuable for conducting interviews. Overall it performed better than other units I have tried and it is far less expensive to buy than most. It certainly earns the five stars I gave it.
