I love it!! I used my points to buy it with and its the best purchse I have made. The screen is great for when I sitting in or for travel. Its the first portable DVD player that doesn't make noise while I am watching it. Its easy to use. I would recommend to anyone!

I purchased this DVD player on November 25, 2025, and it worked fine for only about six months. Unfortunately, it has now stopped reading any discs and displays an "ERR DISC" message every time I insert a DVD.
The DVDs I'm testing have all played successfully in this player before, and I've tried multiple discs with the same result. The issue appears to be with the player itself rather than the discs.
I'm disappointed with the durability of this product. A DVD player should last much longer than six months under normal use. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product.

Wanted a device that didn't have to be plugged into the car constantly and could be used inside too. This fit the bill. Was reasonably priced, had a battery and cord for the car or charging inside, and a remote.
Was pretty straightforward to use and the instruction booklet had good, comprehensive directions.
The remote could be a bit finicky needing just the right angle.
Good graphics quality, it read my region 2 (Europe) DVDs,

I just got it and played a movie on it and so far I am in love with this. It has the connection to see it on a tv and you can also turn off the screen to see it only on a tv. Haven't tried the sound with the tv yet. The screen can move to both sides. I personally love how clear it looks and for a small device the audio sounds pretty good. I did show in my video review that it still plays even if I'm a bit rough with it. Tho I don't recommend turning it upside while on as it might damage some fragile stuff but other than that it's looks and works as intended. Will update if anything happens

Its okay, but when you use the Zoom feature, there is no way to get this icon to go off the screen, so if you Zoom, you are stuck watching the whole movie like this.

I ordered two of these for my children shortly before Christmas, they arrived on time but unfortunately only one was working. I emailed customer service and they quickly got back to me with a shipped replacement, without me having to return the non working one. The replacement arrived quickly, and customer service followed up to make sure I was satisfied with it. They also offered an additional gift to make up for the inconvenience that I will be receiving soon! Fantastic customer service and my kids love their dvd players and take them everywhere! The cord is long for charging, it comes with a car charger, and cords to stream onto a television. My 6 yr old is able to operate the dvd players independently, the volume options are great, and it has a jack for headphones. Overall a fantastic product and company to work with!

Love the quality and volume to the portable dvd player. The only downside to it is that I’ve had it only for two weeks now and it’s already messed up. It has not fallen or anything in that matter for it to stop functioning. I’m disappointed and hope this can be resolved.

EDIT REVIEW: After a few uses, the whole screen started to turn white. I contacted the Customer Service Team and Fairy helped me out with a new dvd player under the warranty. They are definitely a great help if you have ANY issues! Definitely recommend

I tried it and it has a really nice picture and it went on. It’s plenty loud. I don’t know of anything that’s going on with it yet, but it seemed perfect. I also bought the headrest holder too.

Great DVD player! Really saves us when we’re in the car for long periods of time. The size is great, the sound is perfect for my son. Can easily slip it in his backpack or my tote bag. Really enjoy the rotating screen. Overall great!

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this DVD player! It came in its own box with heavy duty bubble wrap around it. The purple is beautiful! I got this for my grandchildren to use while on road trips. It is so easy to use that they can do it themselves! Screen size is big enough for both to see it with no problem! Picture and sound are also very good! I am very happy with this purchase!

This has been a great DVD player! Easy to use for the kids in the car. Does not feel cheap. Really impressed by this product! I appreciate the swivel screen and remote option. And the sound has been really wonderful! Loud enough for car rides or a cinema experience at home for sure! Nice to finally have a way to play DVDs again!

I really love this DVD player because not only can I use it at home but I can use it on the go like in my car especially when I don't want to use my cell phone Wi-Fi to watch videos while I'm in the car. These are really great!

Overall worth the money. Not really impressed that there is (no front speakers) as advertised. The speakers will have sound towards the headrest if folded up and will be in the back of someone who is sitting in that seat. Just a heads up. But it’s simple and easy to use and kid friendly.

It keeps having problems like glitching and stopping the dvd by itself when I didn’t press the stop button. I tried to email or text support but they didn’t answer or do anything!!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡

I really like this dvd player. It has a good picture. It is the perfect size for me, it sits on a small table at the end of my bed. And the sound quality is great. I haven't tried the car charger yet, but I plan to at a later date. The ieGeek team has been a great help. I had trouble with the first dvd player they sent. But they were more than welcome to send me a replacement. At no additional fees. Thank you ieGeek for the great customer service and for a good product. I am very happy with it.

I actually bought two, one red and one purple. I am VERY happy with my purchase. I researched for about 3 months before I made the decision for these DVD players. The price is fair, the quality if very good. The screen picture is large enough that my kids have no issues and they love the fact they can watch anywhere. I did buy a pair of $9 headphones from Walmart for each player and they have been amazing for long car rides so far. I read through reviews which mentioned that people didn’t get all the cords, etc.Everything was included with mine. I did purchase the warranty plan offered. My only complaint really is that the dvd opening piece is very flimsy and it seems to be spring activated open and close. I don’t think that will last long and will eventually want to pop open on its own. Overall, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE KIDS. I am already planning a purchase for my 3 nephews and 1 niece, just waiting on color choices and closer to birthdays.

Very easy to use portable DVD/CD player. I use it for playing my music CDs while learning to play along with the tracks, and for DVDs while traveling. Compact size, will get a travel case for it., would have been nice if one had been included. Easy to use remote go to button, and repeat buttons useful for music. Good sound volume and picture.

So far this DVD player has been great. I ordered two, one for each kid, and they especially love having their own color (one is red, one is purple). The remote worked well when pointed to the bottom front, but strangely it also made my regular tv in the same room go on and off while I was using it to adjust the DVD player. 🤷♀️ The picture is great, and I went into the settings as another reviewer suggested to make the picture 16:9, so no black stripes. Being able to swivel and fold it down flat makes it easier for the kids to hold and to hopefully place in a car headrest when the promised free ones arrive. Looking forward to having both of these for our kids on a long family trip this summer!

The unit and remote is cheap looking and feeling, but it's the best price for the largest screen I could afford.
The wrapped box was bashed in the corner, but the unit is well packed and padded, and so far it hasn't shown effects on the unit.
Comparing my oldish tv to the unit's screen the picture is bluer and contrastier.
The remote is very limited how it works compared to a non-portable dvd player. If the unit is closed and switched off, the remote cannot switch the unit on. The remote will not turn the unit on if it is open but the switch is off. If you change the disc you must switch the unit off, then on before you can use the remote to power on.
I get errors and misread discs ocassionally so I have to power off then on again at least once to clear the problem.
Generally I wonder why I couldn't buy such a crude product for $40 or less but prices are generally consistent everywhere.

I bought this for myself and a bit as a courtesy for my boyfriend who is a heavy gamer and uses the tv primarily for that( not that I mind) but wanted something that I can watch my nerdy movie marathons on without forcing him to watch them with me (because Netflix doesn’t have everything ...studio ghibli, hp series,GoT)
Anyway I picked purple as my fav color. It came in good condition, the screen was startlingly bright when I turned it on. The sound was really loud even on it’s lowest without headphones and practically immersive with them. Very easy to figure out the controls even without the manual.
I knocked a star off for only 2 things-
1)While sound quality itself is fantastic, the headphone jack is touchy at times and you have to turn it a bit to keep it from coming loose and get that optimum sound.
2) This is more of a personal issue but I don’t much like how when you open the cd cover and remove the protective tab, the inner components are exposed and uncovered.(See photos) If you’re giving this to kids, i would warn you to put cds in yourself because their fingers and even foreign items can fit in there mighty easy, damaging the hard wear.
But other than that, I love it.

I really like this iegeek portable DVD player. One of the issue I've had in the past with the other portable dvd player I had was sound, I had to purchase a speaker for the old one but NOT the iegeek. The sound on this dvd player is perfect, I can adjust it using the remote. The picture is nice and clear. So far I only watched movies on it but still I am satisfied. It honestly toom me forever to pick out a portable dvd player but I think I found a good one. So happy. It was well packaged with remote , car charger, adapter, and manuel. It arrived in 2 days i stead of a week like I was told. Its not heavy and the screen doesn't come off but it can easily be turned in the postion you want. The screen size is real nice. The buttons on both the remote and player are easy to operate. I really like it. A great buy!

AMAZING packaging, I will start off with that. All electronics should come packaged like this did. Very impressed by that. Plugged it into the wall and started a movie. Adjusted the picture settings to my liking and it looks great. Sound is coming out of the speakers is great and no doubt will be better with headphones. As I had just recieved this today, I haven't tested the battery life. But I will most likely have it plugged in 99% of the time it's on anyways. I turned and folded the screen back. It folds over the buttons so theres no accidental pushing them when you're holding it which is very nice. Light enough I trust my 3yr old to hold it but feels sturdy too. My 3yr old is already obsessed. Got it for long car rides so there's no more fighting over movies and my boys can choose their own each. Love the red color. Definitely recommend so far
