Ikarao Shell3 Karaoke System (small size, small price..BIG performance)

I have been a karaoke enthusiast for over 30 years, building home systems, hosting parties, and collecting a large library. When my granddaughter showed an interest and started singing along at our gatherings, I wanted to find her a simple, compact system with great sound quality, good microphones, and easy expansion options for larger TVs and home audio setups.

The Ikarao machines immediately caught my attention because they offer I/O ports for HDMI TV connections, audio out for home theaters, Bluetooth screen casting, and access to online platforms like Karafun for thousands of songs across different eras and languages. Setting it up took less than an hour. While I initially ran into a minor snag getting Karafun configured, the support teams from both Ikarao and China-based support were incredible—AI translation made the communication seamless, feeling just like talking to a local friend.

A quick tip: I highly recommend connecting a wireless keyboard and mouse, as the small built-in touch screen can be a bit tricky to navigate. The sound quality and power output for a bedroom are surprisingly impressive, and the included microphones feel high-quality. Overall, this system exceeded my expectations and delivers a fantastic karaoke experience. I would give it higher than the 5stars if possible.

Love that KaraFun allows option to turn on lead vocals to help new singer

I just wanted to add a quick review showing how you can turn the lead vocals on, off, or partially on using the KaraFun app. I have a special needs child who is learning to read and sing and this was literally EXACTLY how I was hoping it would work since she is not independent enough yet to enjoy it without the lead vocals singing along with her. I cannot wait for her to open this up for her birthday tomorrow!!!! Squeal!!!! I had really worried about this, so I hope this review helps someone else!

For such a little box with big power output sound, sound awesome!

Love it! Sound so clear even for little speaker. Wireless microphone can go far away from the base, that's unbelievable!!

This was quite a surprise very happy

This was beyond my expectations. I did not realize how small it is, and when I opened it up, I was very disappointed, but when I turned it on, I couldn’t believe the sound quality the microphones everything easy to figure out and just a great little boy.

So much fun and it has a SCREEN!

This is a pretty unusual and high-tech karaoke machine. It feels compact, yet it is super powerful. The sound is so good, and the bass is amazing. I love the volume control in the middle with some lights around it; it’s like a little ball that you scrawl. It comes with two great-quality microphones that can be charged inside the machine; no need to charge them separately with cables or anything like that. That’s really convenient. I love that. This karaoke machine has a screen. It’s like a small Android tablet inside this machine. It has so many options, and also I can play YouTube videos through the browser. It’s easier to carry around. It’s not lightweight because it’s packed with great technology. We absolutely love it for our outdoor gatherings with family and friends. I highly recommend it to anybody.

Great size, great time, great product!

We LOVE this little machine! The sound quality is extremely good (we use it as a regular speaker when we arent karaok-ing), the user interface to find music is intuitive. The microphones storing inside the machine is very convenient too. Best of all is its size. This is our second Ikarao kareoke machine. We wanted this one for its smaller size. Its wonderful--its compact, portable and has a sturdy handle so we can take it wherever we go: our neighbor's house, our boat, camping...wherever! We have used it several times with friends and family ...inevitably someone goes online to buy it for themselves immediately! We have run it for about 5+ hours as a speaker without needing to plug it in. Highly recommend if you are looking for a karaoke machine/Bluetooth speaker.

Apps suck no options no way to add apps or use Google Play on their Android software

Unfortunately you can't log into the apps starmaker seems to want you to use Facebook to log into which we don't have and don't care to use.

Party in a box!

The Shell S3 is our second machine from Ikarao - we also have the S1. Both are fantastic and loads of fun. We’ve had a blast using the S1, but were looking for something a little lighter and even more portable. The S3 is perfect, such an easy size to take places and use on the go without sacrificing on functionality. Very easy to set up and use - 5 minutes and you’re good to go. And having the built in screen elevates both of them and is a game changer. Plus the build quality is top notch. Ikarao has such a great lineup of portable Karaoke machines. Highly recommend this brand and this machine! Looking forward to using it on the go…

Fun and easy

For such a small machine it really packs a punch. The sound quality is really good and the microphones pick up well. I love that the screen is part of the speaker. It's also really nice that you can store the microphones inside the machine so nothing will get lost of misplaced in between uses. It is really lightweight and easy to move around plus there is a handle for easy carrying. It's small so finding a place to keep it when you aren't using it shouldn't be an issue. Set up is easy and fast too. The biggest issue is that there is one charging cord for everything. So it can take some time to get everything charged up (2 microphones and the speaker); so just plan ahead for that. Otherwise great for parties or just having fun as a family.

Quality unit that is fun to use, but expensive.

I wasn't sure about ordering this due to the price and mixed reviews, but had been looking for a decent karaoke, so I ordered it. When I received it, I noticed the weight first, which usually means quality speakers. This was no exception as I turned it on and not only heard, but felt the startup tone! It was small, but powerful for its size.

The screen on this is just a simple android tablet that controls the device. You can use a USB device on it if you like, for playing music, and/or singing along with it, or you can connect it to wifi and have the whole internet available. You tube and Spotify have songs with lyrics you can sing along with to sound like a singing star due to the microphones and software included.

The two microphones work nicely and can have various presets to make you sound great even if you aren't a great singer. It is fun and easy to use as you can choose a few different mic settings as well as lowering or removing background and lead vocals.

Both microphones and the main unit use C charging and although the mics charge quickly enough, the main unit can take from a few hours to 24 hours, depending on battery level and charger used. None of the instructions cover this. A full charge will give you many hours of use, but I can't give an exact number, but I can say that we used it with both mics for about an hour, and it had about 75-80% still left!

A really nice add is six months of KaraFun membership for free, and with no credit card info needed to start! That's a big plus, but I can't say the same for the monthly rates after the six months. It does have a lot of music available in its catalog, so there's always something for most. If you use it a lot, it's probably a great thing to have because it is easy to find songs and music you like with timed lyrics on the screen.

I wasn't able to connect my TV, but it does have a mirroring like option. I would like that to be easier and be able to connect my TV.

This is a fairly powerful karaoke for its size, but the screen size and inability to connect to my TV is a big minus! The price is also a challenge for me because I'd like to see it be more affordable and at least be able to connect my TV so I can read the lyrics on a large screen instead of squinting or using my reading glasses.

Overall, it is a nice unit that is fun to use, and I would recommend it for it's compact size and great sound for what it is, but I don't think I can justify the over $200 price tag, even with the KaraFun free for six months.

Powerful and portable

So much power in such a small box! I was blow away on quality of this product from the sound quality, volume, battery life, screen display microphone output all 10/10. It has multiple ways to display music from bluetooth , music library, and it can even connect to wifi and display YouTube! Comes with 2 microphones that can function from a long distance while still putting out crystal clear sound. This is perfect for any party ! 110% recommend .

Perfect for Parties & Versatile

This is a fun unit - it is our first karaoke machine and very versatile - great for families and entertaining. When hosting holiday meals, it can be challenging to come up with after dinner activities & this is ideal. We set it up for after our Easter dinner & our family and guests, adults & kids alike, had a great time & were really impressed.

In terms of set up - it's simple. Once powered on, the unit guides through the set up from language to the wifi connection. The menu of options is intuitive. We started with the KaraFun app (the try it option). With this option, the song selection is limited and some are only 30 seconds without a subscription; however, the lyrics screen is colorful & the main and background vocal volume may each be controlled. Additionally, a QR code appears allowing guests to access the playlist on their phones. We also used the built-in YouTube app and searched our favorite songs as karaoke & it worked great!

As for sound quality, it is even better than I'd hoped. On the set up menu, the bass feature may be activated and this made the audio sound even better - best around 70%-80%. volume.

Although I picked this up for the karaoke feature, it can also be used as a bluetooth speaker & as a pa unit so it's a very versatile unit easy to take to a party or other event given its weight & size.

Overall, this is great unit for those who host events (entertaining at home, business/marketing, etc.), or want to turn a rainy day at home into a concert experience for the entire family. It arrives in a nice box & would would be a wonderful family gift.

Very powerful sound, deep bass, great microphones

This is a great karaoke machine all-around: for its size, it has impressively loud speakers, deep bass and very wide array of input options. Small display on top really help kids using it as it is very simple to switch songs and control volume without even touching phone. Bluetooth, SD card and USB inputs - all work flawlessly, but WiFi connectivity is the most valuable feature for me. Battery life is very good considering its size and sound capabilities. This is an excellent unit all-around, I find it to be the best self-contained karaoke machine I had seen so far. Excellent value for the money.

By Far My Favorite Karaoke Machine!!

I recently purchased the Karaoke Machine for our family, and I can confidently say it’s been worth every penny! This machine has brought so much joy to our home, and everyone—adults and kids alike—absolutely loves it!

One of the standout features is the **lyrics display screen**. It’s easy to read and makes it simple for everyone to follow along while singing. The ability to **connect to WiFi and access YouTube** and karaoke apps is fantastic, giving us endless song options without any hassle. We’ve enjoyed discovering new songs together and reliving old favorites!

The **two EQ autotune wireless microphones** are a game changer. They have great sound quality, and having two microphones means we can duet or have group sing-alongs without any issues. The autotune feature is fun and adds a professional touch to our performances, making everyone feel like a star!

I also appreciate the **portable design** of the machine. It’s lightweight and easy to set up, which makes it perfect for family gatherings, parties, or even camping trips. We’ve taken it outdoors, and it has held up well, providing great entertainment wherever we go.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this karaoke machine. It has brought our family closer together, providing hours of fun and laughter. For its quality, features, and overall enjoyment, I'm thrilled to give it a full 5 stars!

Karaoke Anywhere: Testing the Portable Ikarao System

When I saw the Ikarao Karaoke Machine, I was curious—could it be better than our current setup? Once I received it, I was impressed by its compact design. It was easy to set up, and it offers multiple ways to access karaoke music. You can use YouTube videos with lyrics, connect to your Spotify library, or explore additional apps for music options.

Its battery life is solid. We used it at our family Easter party after it was fully charged, and I haven’t had to recharge it since. There are two microphones, rechargeable separately from the machine, and they’re comfortable to hold while singing. You can be close to the device with the mic without feedback, which makes sense since lyrics are displayed on the screen.

We initially set the volume to its maximum. The music clarity of the machine and microphones was excellent, but we were using it inside a garage-turned-recreation room. I had a short window to record to keep people out of the video, and I should have asked them to raise the volume—other family members were playing pool in the background.

The machine is well-made and truly portable. It lasts a long time on a full charge, making it completely wireless. If left unused, a screensaver appears for a few minutes before the screen shuts off.

We had a great time with the Ikarao Karaoke Machine. It definitely rivaled our current makeshift system, though our setup had a higher volume. It’s great fun for families and groups. While it’s a bit pricey and not for casual users, enthusiasts will not be disappointed.

Quality sound, well made components

This little machine comes nicely packaged for an impressive gift. It is a small, convenient table top size. For its size, it is heavy. The speaker sounds really good. The light glowing on the volume control is a really nice design choice, it's easy to see the volume level because the circle of light Indicates volume level visually.

The handheld cordless mics are a nice size, shape and weight. The mic is omnidirectional, so no matter how you hold it, it picks up your voice.

The built in tablet feature frees up your phone. You can subscribe to a karaoke app or it will let you get on your YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, or other favorite app. It works well for providing background or dancefloor music when no one wants to grab the mic.

The charge lasts a decent amount of time. My teen's birthday party, with people using the mics and using it loud, the charge lasted about 2 hours. On Halloween, just using for music outdoors and not using the mics, and the volume not as loud, it was still going strong after 3 hours.

Great Sound Quality And Pretty Solid

This is a really nice system.

The 8 inch touchscreen display is easy to use and see and easy to navigate too. It comes with a few pre installed Apps and operates just like an android tablet. You can connect using WiFi and had no issues doing just that.

The system is well built and pretty solid and delivers some really good quality sound. The Highs ,Mids and Bass are all perfectly set and puts out some rich full sound with great clarity and depth. And it keeps that clarity even if you turn it up at a high volume level.

The two wireless microphones are rechargeable like the system itself but I think it should come with a charging cord for each the system adds the two microphones. I only received 1 charging cord maybe they was a mistake who knows but I was lucky enough to have a few USB -C cords around my house to be able to charge everything up at the same time. But the microphones are good quality and pick up pretty good without any static or interference even at a distance of about 20 to 25 feet.

It does get pretty loud and can fill up a decent size room with sound. I also like that you can store the microphones in the system, it would be nice if they could also charge in there but they don't. Nonetheless it doesn't take away from the sound quality which is the main thing in my opinion. It might be a little on the pricy side but your do get really good quality sound and a nice easy to use 8 inch touchscreen display. So the those two reasons I would definitely recommend it.

Great Sound Quality and Gets Loud Too

It's got a simple design but packs a punch as far as the sound goes. It's got a nice equal balance of your highs your mids and the bass That can get loud enough to fill up a decent size room.

The touch screen is easy to navigate through It allows you hook to Wi-Fi Bluetooth and there's couple of apps already on it if you're wanting to use them for karaoke to get lyrics that's an option.

The microphones are just a solid as the system itself they pick up pretty well but like any microphone you want to sing directly into it and not off to the sides You might catch yourself starting to break up a little bit But they are decent microphones and well made and rechargeable.

There's a cool little light display with it too if you're into light displays This one has one. The microphone store nicely in the system itself so they're safe and out of the way from being broken or maybe dropped or whatever so nice little storage area for them in the system.

The sound quality is in my opinion rich and clean and clear and again it does get loud and you don't lose that that clarity as you turn up the volume You keep the quality even if you go louder with the sound with the volume.

Overall I like as I said good sound quality it's a solid system well built the screen is touch screen and it's easy to navigate You can connect Wi-Fi Bluetooth to it It does come with an app or two on it for music it's not that heavy it's got the light display and I would definitely recommend it I think it's at a fair value.

It Has It All!

This is the perfect all-in-one karaoke machine - essentially an Android tablet strapped to a surprisingly bass-ey Bluetooth speaker. Plug it in to HDMI for a full setup on your TV!

SonarTech

Really nice compact portable karaoke machine, but non-existent customer service!

This system has nice and is quite capable for a little portable device. It comes with two wireless mics and a decent screen. It's certainly something worth having to take on a picnic or a small beach party. Overall, I like it, and we'll be making use of it.

What I liked:

1. While not amazing, the mics are functional and as long as you don't max out the volume, the produced sound from the mics is clean and not distorted. I didn't even run into any feedback issues when fairly close to the speakers or the other mic.

2. Although a bit small size, for its size, the screen is nice and clean, easy to read, and perfectly good for the purpose.

3. The speakers produce great sound - full, rich range of sound with decent bass and no issues with distortion as long as you don't max out the volume.

4. For the most part, I found it very responsive once past some initial loading lag.

The things I wish were better:

1. I wish it was easier to add online karaoke sources. There isn't a great option for browsing the web and no easy access to other applications other than what is installed unless you happen to be a tech.

2. The system can be quite inclined to lag while initially loading. It does get past that, but a small amount of patience is required sometimes.

3. VERY difficult/impossible to add additional apps, like Youtube TV, for example. If you try, it seems like it works, but them gets super sluggish and slow, to the point that it skips framed constantly and becomes basically unusable. I suspect the processor's underpowered for anything beyond the prescribed uses, even though you certainly are given the impression that this box could do a lot more...

The things I really didn't like:

---> Customer Service (or should I say, 'a lack thereof'). 1 week before I posted this review, I emailed Ikarao support to try and get answers to the following questions, but they never responded at all - even after two additional attempts, so I knocked off another star for their bad/non-existent customer support:

----------------------

Questions for Ikarao Customer Support:

1. The product uses Android 13. How are updates performed on the system?

1a. What is the update plan for the Android OS and how long do you plan to support it?

1b. How are apps updated in this UI?

2. The unit has a built-in battery but specs for the battery are not printed anywhere on the instructions or packaging which could complicate air travel.

2a. Can you provide me with battery specifications for both the Shell 2 and the included Microphones?

2b. What is the size of the internal battery for the base unit and the included microphones?

2c. Are the batteries in the base user replaceable? If yes, where is the replacement procedure and where do you get replacement battery packs? If not, what is the disposal / recycling process?

2d. Are the batteries in the microphones user replaceable? If yes, where is the replacement procedure and where do you get replacement battery packs? If not, what is the disposal / recycling process?

3. Do you have a teardown procedure for the Shell 2 you can share with me? If not, I’ll teardown the unit anyway trying my best to not damage something along the way, but I would prefer a proper procedure, even if very basic.

4. The unit contains BT and WiFi radios and shows an FCC logo, but no FCC ID is provided on the product. This appears to be a US compliance violation. Do you actually have full FCC certification for this device and can you share it?

5. The unit has an Underwriter’s Laboratory mark but has no certification number. Does it actually have a battery-powered appliance UL mark (which would be unusual), and if so, what is it? If not, why do you have a UL mark printed on the device?

6. Do you have, or are you building an online owner’s manual for the product? If yes, can you share a draft with me?

7. What does this mean? “None of your machines are currently up-to-date and need to be manually upgraded by us. Please do not register a karafun account now.” What do you mean by “manually upgraded by us”?

----------------------

Since I never got any replies, I assume they don't care, so that's something you need to keep in mind if you're considering buying this. You may not get any response or support from ikarao customer support.

Super impressed! Great sound. Great song selection! The read deal!

WOW... I'm impressed! A lot of good sound from such a small box. Deep bass but not overpowering. A good blend of mids / highs / and low bass notes.

The microphones work very well. They charge up while stored in the top part of the case. The paired up each time without an issue.

I paired my iPhone to it and I was able to broadcast music from iTunes to this box and sing along while the lyrics scrolled on my phone screen.

The software has way more options than I expected. The included app works great and again, the included song selection shocked me. THere's something for everyone.... from old school Lynyrd Skynyrd's Simple Man to some pop songs I've heard on the radio... a good mix of new and older country songs.... and the was the free section! If you choose to pay a small fee it unlocks tons of songs.

The sound has echo and reverb... Once charged up you can take it cord free with the internal battery.

I was expecting a toy for kids.... but this is the real deal.... add a few margaritas and this thing will bring any party to life!

I amp impressed!

I Love This Speaker

First off, I'm very pleased with how well the speaker was packaged. Wedged between two soft pieces of foam and without scratch or blemish. My initial reaction to unpacking the speaker was that this is a QUALITY piece of kit. Pretty much the whole unit is made of metal which gives me much more confidence actually using the built-in handle to transport the speaker around. It has a bit of heft, and I was seeing people leave negative reviews due to the weight, but I really don't understand the issue personally.

Once I booted up the speaker for the first time, I did have to wait for about 45 seconds for it to finish, but I was actually impressed with the display. To my eye, it looks to be at least 1080P with a 60Hz panel. Colors also look great. The default screen comes with their own karaoke software, as well as a shortcut to YouTube using Firefox, Spotify, a custom local music player, and a files and cleaner app. Using the built-in USB port, I was able to install my own apps like Tidal and a shortcut app to get to the original Android settings menu using a flash drive. Getting into the original Android settings from the shortcut app, I was able to determine that it is indeed running Android 13. I am very familiar with Android and rooting/tinkering and know my way around ADB and its commands - this has USB debugging enabled by default and the bootloader is unlocked, but I was completely unable to make an ADB interface connection at all, so sadly, it doesn't seem like it is rootable. I'm sure there's a way, but nothing obvious on the surface. Either way, you're able to install your own apps via the built-in browser or with a flashdrive, so not a big deal.

As for the sound quality - I was almost shocked. It is amazing how much sound comes out of this little guy and the bass...jeez dude. Very impressive. There's also a bass button that increases the amount of bass which adds to my awe. I did feel that the mids and treble were pretty dampened with Ikarao's default, on-device EQ. So if you're using an app on the device like Tidal or Spotify, you'll notice this. Thankfully, there's an EQ app that works fantastically that does NOT require root. It's called Wavelet by pittvandewitt. Once installed, you enable "Legacy mode" and then your audio will follow the EQ you set within the app. I let the bass pretty much alone and increased the mids by a lot with a small boost to treble and then this speaker absolutely sparkled. Dare I say, perfect sound.

Just as an fyi though, the CPU isn't the fastest I've ever seen for sure, so navigating the OS is a bit rough, but it's good enough for my needs. Most people are going to just connect via Bluetooth anyways and that was absolutely painless to connect. Comes up on a seperate screen with song info once you connect too. One specific thing to Tidal I noticed is that occasionally, when I would start typing in the search bar, the app would crash. That's the only app with issues and not an app that they intended to be on there though, but you can see from the pictures that it does indeed work!

Lastly, the mics are actually really nice. They look sleek and the charging mechanism is honestly perfect imo. They use metal rings that wrap around the whole mic's body so any way set the mic down, it'll charge up. The rings also act as a premium-looking aesthetic. As far as using them, literally I just picked one up the very first time and it immediately turned on and connected. Same for the other mic. They will also start charging and turn off as soon as you lay them in the cradle. Easily the best implementation for microphones I've seen. The fact that they're rechargable, pair instantly without any effort and have a place to reside when not in use is just...*chef's kiss*. Other companies - take note. Oh and btw, when you pick one up, it will immediately show a menu with effects and volumes and adjustments that all work great.

Overall, this is one of the first karaoke machines that make me want to actually take this to a party and sing like an idiot. The sound easily fills a large room while sounding clean and full. Forgot to mention, speaking of parties, the HDMI out works perfectly too and you can easily display whatever's on the speaker to a TV. While this speaker isn't cheap at $279.99 w/coupon at the time of writing, I honestly think it's worth it if you're looking for a quality, all-in-one karaoke setup. Especially since it's a full-fledged Android device with a display as well. If you just want a speaker and don't care about the microphones and Android w/screen, maybe look elsewhere, but this gets my full endorsement. Good stuff, Ikarao.

B Customer

Wow! What a great system!

Overall, this is a 9/10 product. Definitely a great value for the money. Yes, it’s on the higher end side of all-in-one systems, but it’s definitely worthwhile.

The speaker quality is better than my high end mobile speakers. I’d rather use this as a backyard party speaker vs my other speakers.

The built in touch screen makes navigating the UI feel more intuitive. And it’s especially convenient for mobile karaoke play. I found the apps were great at enjoying English karaoke sessions. It also had Spotify and Apple Music apps that I could sync my accounts with. (More on this feature later)

The video output was nice. Especially when paired with a projector. I could project the touchscreen display onto the wall and make it appear more professional for a larger audience.

The built in microphones sounded exactly like they should. And had no feedback. Honestly those microphones are a 10/10.

Now there was an issue I had with this system. There is no way to cast a mobile phone to the karaoke machine. I can connect via Bluetooth but it won’t let me share my phone screen. This is most unfortunate as some of the music I like to sing along with is in other languages. And this karaoke doesn’t have many features that make non-English karaoke music easy to access. The best I could find was using the YouTube app. But it’s not really an app rather a webpage of YouTube. The KaraFun app also has a very limited library of non-English content. So it was disappointing on that end too. For me, this was a -1 star for some of the limited content combined with the inability to stream content from my phone to the karaoke machine. For someone only wanting English speaking music, then this is probably a non-issue.

All in all, I am still very happy with this system. I still think it’s probably one of the best options out there. And I highly recommend it.

Fun Karaoke Machine

This Ikarao karaoke machine is a lot of fun. It’s portable and has a nice 140W bluetooth speaker. There are two microphones that are self-charging. When you use the KaraFun app, you get screen lyrics on the display. However, the display is pretty small. Also there aren’t that many songs to choose from unless you pay to upgrade your service. Otherwise, most songs are locked. Nonetheless, you can search Youtube for Karaoke songs that will play just as well and show on the screen. The sound is really good with a deep bass. I’ve also used it just to play music and watch videos as I’m working. I really like that it’s a wireless speaker and also supports WiFi, AUX, and HDMI for TV/Projector.

Still Learning All the Features and Funtions And Having Fun with It

While this portable system is slightly larger than a large loaf of bread and about 6 pounds, it puts out great sound that can be heard throughout the house. I think it is meant more as a home system than a professional system, but even so, the sound quality is very good and has levels you can adjust for inside/outside as well as others. The mics even have some sound effects which are fun to play with. I’m new to karaoke and sound systems, so I am still learning all the features and functions, but this did come with a charge in it ready to go. The microphones charge themselves inside the case. I’ve only seen a HDMI cord with the HDMI on both ends so I will have to figure out how to charge the whole unit since I don’t see a traditional option for a plug. In the back there is an opening where there’s some different ports and I think a USB cable would fit into one as a possible option for charging. This unit is wonderful and I wouldn’t hesitate to order again.

Top Quality Sound From A Quality Built System.

Very well built system very solid and easy to use and set up.

Sound quality on the system is absolutely one of the best sounding karaoke systems I've ever used. Not only does it get loud at 140 watts but the quality is sound is impeccable it's clear clean crisp and you're not losing that as you turn the volume up as some systems you tend to lose that quality of sound but not with this one the quality doesn't go away the louder it gets it stays just as clear and and crisp.

It does have a bass boost but I've found that it's so well balanced with the highs and the lows in the mids that for me the bass boost would take away from that but it's an option there if you really want more of that bass driven sound.

This thing is loaded with options as far as I'm putting your choice of music on the system itself you have Bluetooth you also have a TF card slot auxiliary line in USB port HDMI port and that's just in the back of the system that you can connect to excluding the Bluetooth which you connect through Bluetooth.

The screen is a nice decent size it's easy to read and easy to use it's touch screen and it's pretty sensitive so you're not struggling with it and on it you can use it to control the system as well like the volume control connecting to Wi-Fi changing over to your auxiliary line in your Bluetooth the lighting modes Micah facts and it offers you the way service I guess I haven't hit it yet but I'm assuming that's to the makers of it and help you if there's any problems and it's big it's easy to read and they have things already on it such as YouTube Spotify and then one called karafun haven't used it yet but I'm sure I will give it a try.

What I like also about this system besides the whole system itself is the fact that the microphones are in the system when you shut the lid and they're charging so when you're charging the entire system the microphones are also getting charged.

And a Microsoft phones themselves are solid well made very good pickup not too big not too small they fit in the hand just right as far as I'm concerned and again good quality sound coming through them but I'm not surprised with that because this whole system is in my opinion top notch and the microphones are not any different.

I know they probably seems a little costly if you first look at it but in my opinion it's well worth the value they said on it this is a very solid system that sounds clean loud and so many options you can do with it and you have the I guess I'm assuming it's the Android screen that even brings you more options and more choices for inputting the choice of music that you want.

I really really like it and I would definitely recommend it especially if you're someone who's a serious karaoke person that wants a good solid system that's not big and bulky that you can carry around easily and delivers that top-notch quality sound that you would expect from a much bigger system so this was a pleasant surprise and I would definitely recommend it.

This is an amazing karaoke machine!

I've never been into karaoke, at least not for myself. I've been to a karaoke bar once, and while it was fun I just never thought much about it. Our kids like it, though, so I decided to keep my eye out for a nice karaoke unit. My stepson has one, but it's a cheapie, and has limited functionality. When I saw this listing I decided to give it a try.

It arrived in a nice box and contains the machine itself, two microphones, and a charging cable.

Setup is pretty easy. It asks for your language and location, wifi, then an email address. Then you're in. It natively connects to YouTube, where you can search for music, Spotify, then another service I haven't played with yet.

In use, this thing is amazing! The touch screen under the lid is gorgeous, though a bit slow. It takes about a minute to turn on and a little sluggish on taps, but not terrible. The sound quality is EXCELLENT. The microphones can go at least 40 feet without loss. The microphones have a pause button and volume controls, which is a great touch.

Overall I'm thrilled with this karaoke machine. The audio quality is so good I'm going to use it for a boombox inside. If you like karaoke you won't be disappointed with this machine.

I highly recommend!

super cool all in one karaoke machine

I really like this karaoke machine. it is all the features you need for a portable karaoke machine. it has a carrying handle, its battery powered, built in rechargeable mic slots, multiple input/ouput ports, and a display!

the good:

very good feature, that the microphones charges and has a slot in the device which makes it very portable. the front has a horizontal rocker wheel that controls the volume. it has a built in tablet so can play YouTube karaoke or go to a karaoke website. the sound quality on the speaker is excellent. I think on par with Bose speakers. the sound is rich and full and you can control the different levels of bass. the mic has a separate volume control and the quality sounds great as well.

things to improve:

when setting up the device for wifi, it doesn't allow you to set up hidden SSID. it only allows you to add visible SSID. easy workaround is to make your wifi visible, add the device, then hide your wifi. this process work for me.

I always test the speakers at max volume. I turned it close to max volume to see how the sound is and like many other speakers, close to max volume you going to hear a lot of sound distortion. the speakers are just unable to create clear crisp sound at max volume.

it's really nice to have a built-in screen but its small. so it's not a problem if you know the lyrics but if you need to read the screen you'll need to be close to the device. I thought being so close while singing would cause some feedback but there really wasn't any. but the smaller screen does make it harder to read the words. maybe get the larger unit with bigger screen?

although the built in tablet is really nice, it's a bit slow. when opening apps it does take a couple seconds and is not as fast/snappy as your regular tablets or cell phone.

the tablet has some built-in applications. to run YouTube you open it through a Firefox browser. I wish it was the YouTube app but its thru a web browser. the good thing is there is a web browser so you can log into your favorite karaoke website to sing. I was looking for the play store but I couldn't find the playstore app.

overall the family really likes this all in one karaoke machine. even though it can improve on some things, the sound is amazing, the microphones have good wireless distance, the controls on the front are convenient, multiple inputs and outputs, able to connect bluetooth devices, etc. really fun and portable karaoke machine.
