Really love this device! Simple to use. Love being able to use my fave music apps without having to download music from another device (until I actually need to). I just use it for music so no browsing the internet or using other apps for social media/games. Accidentally got it stuck in a “talking mode” that was hard to reverse. lol. Great device overall!

Amazing quality for the price
Before I had this I had the g3 and I upgraded to the g5 I think it’s much better for lots of reasons it has the play store. It has android 12 instead of eight. It’s much faster it’s sound quality is better so it’s a very upgraded version of the other one. so you can download apps and everything. Now the down the sides. It’s a little bit bigger and unlike the G3, the back is very flat and smooth like if I pick this up, I wouldn’t know the difference between the screen in the back very high-quality, but the edges aren’t rounded like the G3, which makes it a little bit more uncomfortable but they’re I think it’s a very high-quality for the price and I would recommend buying

A versatile MP3 player that’s been a hit with my daughter
I got this MP3 player as a Christmas gift for my daughter, and she has been using it every single day since she got it. She was able to install Deezer, which is our preferred music streaming service, with no issues, and she also installed YouTube and a few other apps without any trouble. The touchscreen is responsive, the interface is easy for her to navigate, and it feels more like a small smart device than a basic MP3 player. There was one app that stopped connecting properly, but doing a factory reset fixed the issue quickly.
The storage capacity is one of the biggest highlights. With 160GB available, there is plenty of room for downloaded music, apps, and other content. Adding MP3 files manually was simple as well. I connected it to a computer using a USB-C cable, even one that didn’t come with the device, and it worked fine. Dragging music files into the music folder made them show up immediately in the built-in music player app, which made setup quick and painless.
The built-in speaker is usable but not very impressive, so headphones are definitely the way to go. Thankfully, the included headphones are actually decent and even come with replacement earbuds, which was a nice surprise. Overall, this has been a great little MP3 player that offers a lot more flexibility than I expected. It’s easy to use, has tons of storage, and has held up well so far, making it a solid choice for kids or anyone wanting a compact media device.

Awesome mp3, mp4 player! Love this!
Taking this MP3 player everywhere has been a real convenience. The sound quality is impressive for a device this size, with clear highs and solid lows that make listening to music or podcasts enjoyable. The 160GB storage capacity holds a huge amount of content, and the fact that it can be expanded with an SD card up to 2TB is incredible for anyone who likes to carry a massive library with them.
The Bluetooth connectivity is reliable and pairs easily with headphones or speakers, and the WiFi lets me stream directly from Spotify or Pandora without any hiccups. The touch screen is responsive and the interface feels intuitive, making navigation simple even when switching between apps like Calm, Spotify Kids, and the Play Store. It really does function like a mini computer in your pocket.
Durability is solid too. The device feels well-built and has held up to daily use without any noticeable wear. It’s lightweight yet sturdy, so tossing it in a bag or pocket does not make me worry about damage. The overall quality of the build and the screen clarity make it feel like a premium device rather than a small MP3 player.
For the amount of storage, connectivity options, and functionality packed into such a compact device, this MP3 player is a very good value for your money. It replaces multiple gadgets in one small package, and for anyone who wants a portable music and app hub, it delivers exactly what you need without compromise.

Amazing how small they can pack in all this tech these days
I've had a few of these types of players like these and this is one of the slimmest and cleanest ones I've seen. For this price, you expect more plastic and bulk but not here.
The screen is bright, clear, snappy and as big as I think you need for something like this. Wouldn't be my first choice to watch a movie on but works great for everything else. With the included SD card it's got more than enough storage for anything you could want to toss on something like this. Connects to bluetooth and wifi seamlessly and includes everything you could want with a charging cable and wired headphones which are a little better than you expect from a pack-in but not exceptional sound quality or anything.
All-in-all, you get plenty for what you pay for here. Just like the title says, I can't believe how much they can pack into something this small and charge this little for.

A Solid Music Tool for Kids Learning Instruments
This 160GB MP3 player turned out to be exactly what my 7-year-old needed to keep drum practice separated from his schoolwork. His electric drum kit has a built-in phone/MP3 dock, and this slips into it perfectly without the anxiety of having an expensive iPad inches away from flying drumsticks. With Spotify and YouTube Music, he can play along to drumless backing tracks, instructor led exercises, and metronome drills that gradually increase in speed. It’s portable enough for the car, practice pad sessions in his room, or silent listening with headphones, and the touch response is surprisingly decent for a budget device. Streaming is the main use, but the 160GB storage plus microSD expansion is overkill IN A GOOD WAY, it won’t run out of room even in the next few years. Outside of functionality this device looks great. It’s sleek, slim design really stands out as a premium piece of technology.
Its weaknesses are mainly physical and expected at this tier. Processing isn’t super fast, but it’s not supposed to be a tablet, it plays music, it’s labeled as an MP3 player, runs streaming apps, and keeps up well enough for lessons. The bigger flaw is the absence of real protection. No rubberized bumper (i’m typically used to seeing these come with child based screen devices), no shock-proof shell, nothing. For a kid, that matters more than battery life or storage capacity (speaking of which the battery life performs quite well (1,800 mah). A drop from drum stool height could end it, so a third-party case is starting to feel like a necessity. however, that doesn’t mean to imply that the build quality is weak in any way it’s just a precautionary measure to ensure it can survive any type of unforeseen accidents, especially with waving wooden maple sticks, flying in its presence. As a dedicated, distraction-free practice tool, it hits exactly what it needs to. It keeps school devices safe, keeps him focused, and delivers all the music and instructional audio he needs. Value is solid and outside of musical instructional practice. The versatility of this MP3 player is vast with almost countless options for children and even young adults to enjoy sonically and visually.

Nice mp3 player!
This MP3 player comes with 32gb internal memory, and a 128gb sd card. Setup was very easy, much like setting up an android phone. There were way too many unwanted apps pre-installed, but removal was easy enough. It connects to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth very easily. It plays MP3s and Mp4s very well, however I noticed that some videos looked stretched while others appeared normal. I love the convenience of the Android system for playing my music, but without the unnecessary phone and camera functions. The 4” screen size is perfect for viewing short videos. I probably wouldn't watch a feature length film on this, but it's great for music videos. It has a nice weight to it that makes it feel nice in your hand, and not so lightweight that you feel like you might drop it. It's very customizable with wallpapers and apps. The earbuds aren't the best, but they are decent and I really think they have a cool look to them. The material used seems well made and durable. The back design has a really interesting textured glass look. Overall this is a really great music player device, and I'd highly recommend it.

Doesn’t just play MP3
The title of my listing is because I wasn’t paying full attention and spent days translating my music from other formats to load on my player. I didn’t have to do most of it. Also, I will mention, don’t worry if you get the message that the SD card they provided won’t work. ( see picture). The system will for at it for you, you just have to agree to it. You do have to indicate whether you are going to use it for transfers or program data, although I do t know what happen if you choose one and then want the other.
I love this unit. I am replacing an old iPod touch that just won’t hold a charge, but essentially I will just use this to play music. It’s a bit heavier than my Touch, but the size is good. It comes preloaded with all sorts of apps which I won’t use, but you can delete them easily. The only thing you don’t want to delete is the hibymusic and the play store. But if you make a mistake and delete one of those when you are customizing your setup, , you can Google how to go back to the original settings.
It very easy to use, I loaded all my music for several different sources and it immediately sorted and filtered and allowed me to find everything. I used it for 5 hours on a plane, with wired headphones, not Bluetooth, and only used 25% of the battery. I am sure Bluetooth would have used more, but I was very pleased with this. There are a few music controls that I don’t think are as good as the Touch’s, I have to figure out how to set up continuous loops of 2-3 songs for sleeping, but it probably does everything.
I didn't give it 5* because I thought the price was average, but maybe if you use the apps it then is cheaper than alternatives.
Bottom line, great music player, so many different formats, good battery, and LOTS of storage.

Small, solid and powerfully capable.
160GB MUSIC PLAYER:
OVERVIEW: This gadget can be used to listen to music, read e-books, watch videos and much more… I comes complete with a 128GB SD card.
You charge it with provided USB-A to USB-C cord with your own charger. I could not get into my own Google account using the correct email username. Oddly it did not ask me for my password (come back next week and try again) so I tested as a guest.
THE DETAILS: This gadget supports WiFi, Bluetooth 5, SD cards, USB-C and has a 3.5mm audio output port. The 4” IPS touch screen supports 1080p and the onboard storage is 32GB - expandable with SD cards up to 2TB in size. The listing states it supports “MP3, FLAC, APE, OGG, M4A, AAC, WMA, MP2, and WAV”. After logging in as a guest without the SD card I had 22GB of storage left.
IN USE: For listening you can theoretically Bluetooth to your headset or speakers and such or plugin via 3.5mm jack to the player itself. Apps can be added and removed via the Google Play store.
This is smaller in the pocket than my iPhone 17 Pro Max and can be setup to play through my self powered Studio Monitors. I did not try my Apple AirPods. My Apple EarPods (USB-C) launched HiByMusic every time I plugged in. The music I listed to sounded great in AirPod Pro 2 and the EarPods.
FINAL NOTE: Small, solid and powerfully capable. I hope this review is helpful…

Superior media player for both adults and children! Quality meets functionality.
I was in the market for a media player that I can use on a daily basis. Some of my prerequisites were the ability to run the Android operating system, run my streaming services, be durable, and play my music. I actually wanted a physical device for this specific purpose and not use my phone for the aforementioned.
I was elated to run across this 160 GB MP3 player and video player. It has 32 GB of ROM and it comes with a 128 GB microSD card. This device also has 3 GB of dedicated operating system RAM.
Right from the beginning when you get the box, you know that inside is going to be a quality device just by the sheer weight of the box, in my opinion. Upon opening the box everything was sealed nicely in its own opaque bags. It comes with a USBC charging and data cable, 128 GB microSD card, instructions, and the media player itself. I chose red for my color.
After opening the box to take a look at the media player itself, I was thrown back. The media player feels extremely solid and well built. There was definitely some serious thought behind the engineering of this dedicated audio and video player with the Android operating system. Since you have the Android operating system, you have access to the Google Play Store. That means you could download your apps right to the media player. Or you can choose to transfer them over during the initial setup.
When you first turn on the device, it walks you through setting up the device with your Gmail address. If you don't have a Gmail address, you can make one. Once you go through all the setup and you choose the options you would like, the device is very easy to use. If you know how to use a phone, you'll have no problem using this media player.
I've given this media player quite a testing. First and foremost, what I find quite intriguing, is the fact that there's a screen protector over a screen protector. What I mean by that is, when you get the media player out of its opaque bag, you'll notice a white tab on the upper left hand corner. You pull that off to reveal another plastic pre-installed screen projector. It is just plastic so it will scratch. I'd rather it scratch the plastic than the glass. From my testing, the glass scratches at a mohs scale level 6 with deeper grooves at a level 7. This is pretty standard for phones, $1,500 phones. I am very relieved that the manufacturer decided to use quality glass and not skimp on that.
Speaking of glass, the back of the device is all black glass with the manufacturer logo and name. Since this is a daily driver of mine, I put a metal plastic covered magsafe ring on the back of the device so I can mount it to my many different magsafe mounts I have at home and work.
I was able to successfully download my most important apps to the device without a problem through the Play Store. I can stream video with no problem or lag from either the internet or from the 1 TB microSD card that I am using for an extension of the internal memory. This device can take up to 1 TB for the MicroSD card.
Taking a look around at the device, looking at its sleek appearance and sturdy construction, I noticed that the frame is powder coated very nicely. There are no defects in either the glass or the frame. This tells me that quality control is apparent.
This device is very beautiful to look at but at the same time has the functionality you're looking for from a media player. I have had no problem playing any type of video from either the MicroSD card or the Internet. As far as music is concerned, it comes preloaded with the most popular music applications. I use YouTube music and it came preloaded.
This media player also does have Bluetooth connectivity. It also has an FM radio. On the side with the buttons down toward the bottom of the right side, you will see an oval indentation made of a different material. All that is is a thinner material to allow radio waves through to the FM radio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and nearby devices.
I've been carrying this around for an entire week now and I have used it everyday not only for streaming video but also streaming audio. I have also stress tested the device and tested everything on the device. Practically flawless operation. I also use it to view my home security cameras via the application downloaded from the Play Store. Almost every app you have on your phone, if you have an Android, will work. Unfortunately some are not compatible with this version of the Android operating system.
I can get all day battery life out of the audio player with no problem. I could get six hours of streaming video, in this case, YouTube 4k video on a 10-hour loop. This is at high resolution settings with full volume from the device speaker. For the milliamp hours of the battery, it sure does last a long time. That just means the Android operating system is tweaked to accommodate its specific use.
I would definitely say the value is there for the money. I say this because not only the engineering, the programming, the parental controls available preloaded, and the familiarity of the Android operating system make this media player a must-have!
Just a pro tip, do all of your updates for the operating system and Google Play Store updates before updating any applications on the phone. This is just a big time saver.
I have dropped this device twice now, unfortunately. I dropped it on cement both times. When I picked up the device, I was expecting the worst. But to my surprise, the glass is fully intact and there is not a single scratch or dent on the body of the media player. That's what I call being durable. If this will be for a child, durability is definitely key. That and the parental controls.
This device is running Android 12, so as I mentioned previously, most of your apps will work. During setup, the device even gives you the opportunity to plug in your phone to transfer the data over including your applications via The included USBC data cable. That's what I did. I have over 300 applications, 16,000 pictures and video, and over 20,000 audio files. I chose to transfer it over the charging data cable that is provided in the box.
There is nothing about this media player that shouts cheap. It is very well made and engineered for its task. There was one point in the week I just used the media player for everything besides phone calls and texts.
The device has great heat dissipation due to its aluminum housing. I have not felt this device get over 80° f. After watching a 2-hour movie on the media player, I tested the temperature with my laser thermometer. It read 80° f. The ambient room temperature was 72.1° f. So as you can see, the proof is in the pudding.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied and still extremely elated to have this media player that works so well it could almost replace my phone. I am excited every time I pull it out of my pocket.
Since I have a metal ring on the back for magsafe compatibility with my accessories that are magsafe, I could mount this safely to the back of my phone or any of the multitude of magsafe mounts I have. I could also mount this to any magsafe compatible product.
I carry this media player with me religiously and when running errands in the car, I could just mount it to my magsafe mount on my dash and the media player automatically boots up Android Auto and starts playing my YouTube Music where I left off.
This is a very versatile media player. Plus the fact that it has expandable memory and the fact that the manufacturer gives you 128 GB MicroSD card, well, that is pretty amazing!
This would make a wonderful gift for yourself, any adult, or any child responsible enough to have something of this quality.
I can with extreme confidence recommend this to my friends, family, co-workers, or anybody looking for a dedicated media player solution. The device is beautiful and works very well for its intended purpose.
I am going to be picking up another one in blue blue when it's available. This is definitely worth the return purchase.

Awesome little Android device for music, games, or Internet access!
This device has impressed me. The build quality reminds me of an iPhone 5S (yes, it's that good). The device is small. Impressively small. The screen resolution isn't the highest, but for its purpose works excellent. The power and volume buttons are tactile and easy to feel without having to look. The bottom of the device is simple enough with a Type-C for power and data transfer (via OTG cable) and a standard 3.5mm port for headphones. I've not been impressed with the sound quality that comes out of the 3.5mm jack, however because it has a Type-C port, I've used my Type-C DAC to power my Shure SE846 IEM's. While most people won't use this device in this way, for the rest of the review, we will talk about the 3.5mm jack itself. Using a pair of Sennheiser 580 cans, the output is - decent. Not really enough to overpower those heaphones even though it doesn't take much. Bluetooth audio supports LDAC, and I've confirmed it works fine with my pair of Sony 1000XM5's.
For the audio options, you have the entire Android environment. This means any app you can install on Android 12, this device can run. There's no GPS in this, so you can't use it for navigation, but for simple map viewing, you can. The Hiby app (which I'm familiar with because I own a Hiby R3 Pro ii) works as intended.
Overall, in a quick pinch, as cheap as this device is, it's seriously impressive. I will keep this in my backpack to use for listening to audio so it doesn't kill my phone battery. Being able to swap SD cards is amazing in a world where that doesn't exist in phones anymore. I've tested my 1TB with FLAC collection and this device read that with no problems.
My only complaint - I can't seem to find a protective carrying case at all for this device and that worries me because it's very slippery in the hand, being a glass and aluminum slate that it is!

Aux port is faulty
I ordered this G5 MP3 player because I have many reasons why I can't stream music on my phone. It's just easier to have another device that doesn't require wifi or cellular data to listen to music.
First off, I have an older vehicle that isn't Bluetooth capable, but does have an aux port. I plugged in my cord to this MP3 player, and the audio sounded like it was skipping and cutting in and out. I switched cords out and the same thing happened. I used the AUX cord that came with the player on a separate speaker system and still experienced the same problem. My only conclusion was that the aux port on the device was bad. I've been using a USB-C/AUX adapter and that works decently as an alternative.
The player initially asks if you want to transfer a phone's profile onto the device via a Google account. I opted out of doing this as I felt it was unnecessary, but I did eventually link my account since it wouldn't stop asking about it. Kind of annoying.
The music playing app is okay. My old G4 uses the same app, but I really like that version of the app over this new one. There are features that the older version of the app had that were more appealing to me than this new version. The music scan is a lot slower in the new app and it automatically starts playing the last song when the app is open. I don't care for that.
The player connects smoothly to Bluetooth devices and the sound quality is great. The built-in speaker is okay. It's sound quality isn't great.
One other thing that really bugs me about this player is that the back of the unit is so smooth that it slides right off of any non-level surface. I've had this fall on the floor so many times in the minimal time I've had it that I'm surprised it still works. I had to get a case for it so that it'd adhere to surfaces better.
In general, though, this player gets the job done. I can still listen to the music I want on most audio devices. The player comes with an AUX cord, a USB-C to USB-C cord, corded ear buds, and a 128GB SD micro card. I've already been using the SD micro card and really appreciate that being included.

Excellent Quality MP3/Video Player with 128GB Card Memory Included & Priced Right! Recommended!
This came very promptly after ordering in a very nice and well-packaged box in perfect shape. This is a very impressive – OK, it’s awesome! – quality MP3 player. It’s about the size, heft and build-quality of a cellphone but no camera and, of course, no phone. It looks and feels of very high quality. It’s got an excellent touch-screen with side buttons for on/off and volume, also much like a cellphone. It comes with a bunch of preinstalled apps, or some of the popular social media ones. The best things about this device are the WiFi connectivity that allows downloading of other apps, the 128GB card that’s included for storing music and videos – that’s going to hold an enormous amount of media! – and the Bluetooth connectivity so that it can be used with BT headphones and external speakers. It does play sound itself, and pretty well at that, and also includes earbuds that plug into the aux jack. But the sound this little device puts out is just never going to be as good as premium BT headphones or external speakers. There are parental controls that come with this but I have not had opportunity to use them. It might be a good “training” item for children until they’re ready for a phone of their own. Finally, this product is priced right for what you get. There are cheaper MP3 players but the ones I see that are cheaper have fewer features and memory.

Good music player for every day use!
I have used this item for a couple of days now and the first thing I noticed is that the setup does take a bit of time. Getting everything ready including the apps took around ten minutes which felt a little long. Once it was set up though it worked pretty smoothly.
It is really nice that they included 128 GB of storage already. I did not have to worry about adding a memory card which made it convenient.
The screen is clear and easy to navigate which is great for daily use. The video and audio quality are both surprisingly good. Music sounds clean and watching short videos works well enough for a player of this size. It feels like a good portable option for kids or casual use.
However I do feel that the player is a little overpriced for what you get. It works well but does not feel like it should cost as much as it does. I think a small price drop would make it a much stronger value.
Even so it is nice for travel or simple entertainment without needing a phone. It gets the job done and has plenty of storage space which I really like.
At the moment, I would definitely recommend this item!

Versatile MP3 Player with Great Storage and App Access
I picked up this MP3 Player mainly to store and watch MP4 movies I’ve converted from my DVDs, and I’m really impressed with it overall. The device itself comes with 32GB of built in storage, but it includes a 128GB micro SD card, so you’re actually getting 160GB of total storage. This is awesome because my converted DVD videos are usually around 4GB each, so having that expandable memory means I can keep a good chunk of my collection on the device, with plenty of room for future content.
One of the best features of this device is the ability to upgrade storage using the micro SD slot. It’s great knowing that I can easily add more space if I need it down the road. The operating system runs on Android, so it’s very similar to using an Android smartphone minus the cellular function. That means I can download all the same apps you’d use on a normal phone, including streaming apps like Spotify, Pandora, etc. For me, being able to access the Play Store is a huge plus.
The user interface is straightforward and intuitive. If you’ve ever used an Android phone, navigating this MP3 player will feel completely familiar. It’s easy to load up your music, movies, and apps without any complicated setup.
In terms of build quality, it feels solid and has a bit of a retro iPhone 4 feel to it, compact and sleek. The touchscreen is nice and responsive, perfect for watching videos or browsing apps. While I primarily use it for my videos, I can see this being a great device for kids, or even as an extra gadget for adults to use at the gym, while traveling, or just for on the go entertainment.
Overall, this MP3 player offers great value, especially with the expandable storage, wide app access, and solid build. It’s a nice alternative to a smartphone for anyone who just wants a dedicated device for music, movies, and apps. Definitely a versatile, budget friendly choice!

Great MP3/video player for kids and adults
This little device is pretty good for the purpose it is sold for. It is a phone size mp3/video player and a limited web browser. As an MP3 player it works pretty well. Loading files is easy enough with your laptop. You can also stream audio/video from several popular apps and sites if you have a wifi connection available. The FM radio function is also handy and decently sensitive for use in areas that have a station worth listening to. The parental controls can be set in a variety of ways (time on, sites, apps, etc) to limit children's access if you wish. The setup screens are fairly easy to follow. This would make a nice 'trial' device for a kid before committing to a cell phone. The unit itself is built solidly and feels nice in your hand. Jacks and ports are located logically and easy to get to. It comes with a 128Gb data card, earphones, and a charge cable. The card will give you plenty of storage for files and is easily swapped for another if you want to personalize different libraries for different users. The earbuds are useable, but not hifi. Using your own higher grade wired or BT earbuds improves sound quality noticeably. Some users have reported difficulty in updating the Android version. I haven't tried that yet as I intend to use it primarily offline as a player and not a browser. If I can't figure it out, then I will only connect to the Google store and youtube when I need to.

A full featured MP3 player and FM radio with potential security risks
I really wanted to like this MP3 player, but the downsides outweighed the pluses for me.
First, the features: it's advertised as 160gb-but most of the is credited to the 128gb micro SD card included-the rest is the native storage in the player. It can take up to a 2TB card according to the manufacturer. The screen is small as is the entire unit-a 4 inch screen, but it is sharp and easy to read. It comes pre-loaded with some apps, a few of which I was not familiar with. When first setting this up it asked for a LOT of account information for a variety of apps and services. That felt uncomfortable as it was extensive, and some apps demanded an update which then went to sketchy websites with "you have a virus" popup message etc. Not a good feeling, and one of them even had a default of some Russian search engine. I opted out as much as I could. This runs on Android, so during setup it thinks it's a phone and takes you through that arduous setup process. It also has bluetooth capability for earbuds or an external speaker.
There is a built in speaker, it's not really for music, but it is acceptable in a pinch. This will play a wide variety of file types, and I wanted to try some of my FLAC files-a lossless type of file. Headphones were included and they were not terrible, but I used a high quality set I had. The sound was great, although the volume did not get as loud as other players I have even after ignoring the warnings. It had no trouble playing the FLAC files. I could not find a music player installed that I trusted, so I downloaded one and that worked fine. There is also a recording function and an FM radio.
My big issue is with the Android operating system this player runs on-it's Android 12, which had support and security updates ending March 31, 2025. I made several attempts to update the system, but I could not get it to update, which tells me that this is stuck on Android 12 forever which makes it a big security risk unless you turn off wifi and connectivity as I did. When checking the manufacturer's website I could not find documentation on the G5 which is this model. There is no manual available on the website either-just up through model G3. It seems this may be an abandoned model with no more support, which is unfortunate as it seems pretty capable if the security issues were to be resolved. It's also well made and feels quite solid, and the small size is truly pocket sized.

Small and cute, but slippery and almost dated
I like this little tablet, but it's not the best I've had. It's cute and runs a lot of apps. It supports a 2TB SD card, though I currently only have a 1TB installed. It supports the exFat format, so large files (4GB+) on the external card are not a problem. It supports playback of 1080p video directly (though it sizes it to fit the small screen) and plays audio quite well. The Bluetooth connected with my earbuds and my speaker with no problem. It also connected to my home WiFi without a problem. It comes with a data/charging cable and a pair of wired earbuds. It has a 3.5mm jack for earbuds or headphones, when many newer devices support only Bluetooth.
Cons: It is very slippery, being so small in my large hands I dropped it no fewer than a dozen times during my couple of hours of testing. There is no case available, nor did it come with one to mitigate this problem, so if you are planning to use this with small children, be aware that it might get broken quickly. Also, the keyboard is so small that I had to purchase a stylus, since my large fingers could not type a single word without a typo. It wakes very easily. I bought a larger hard-shell case for it, and just touching the case pushes the power button enough to wake it up. Forget keeping it in your pocket. It will be glowing off and on with every bump or jostle, costing power each time. The only safe way to carry it is turned off, and it takes a minute or two to boot up. It runs on Android 12, which is a bit behind current models, some of which are on Android 16; my last one prior to this was already Android 14, so this one is a bit behind the current curve.
Again, it plays audio well - that is part of its job as an MP3 player after all, and videos were not a problem. Access to the play store gives it a wealth of possibilities, if you want it for someone other than the kids. Still, the several cons have added up to cost it a couple of stars despite its functionality.

Interesting player
This player is basically a phoneless android phone, running Android 12. When signing into gmail, it shows up as a "Hicel Star_1" which was a local branded phone in Burkina Faso, so I'm guessing this is a board reuse for an MP3 player. Since it's basic android, it's able to load a bunch of apps from the play store, but it also comes preloaded with Spotify, Apple Music and YT Music. Since the screen is small, it's not the greatest for video, but it does display them well, just small. One cool feature a lot of these devices don't have is an FM radio tuner, so you can listen to live radio as well. Sound quality on the radio and MP3 depends a lot on the headphones, the ones included are so-so, but plugging in better headphones makes the sound much clearer.
Overall, its a great little MP3 player with the versatility of a phone. It has a good parental controls app, so it could be set up to be a safer alternative to a phone for kids as well. It's also a good metal framed case, so it should put up with a good amount of use.

Great Offline Media Player
I picked this up because I wanted a dedicated media player for when I was out at the gym, on hikes, or generally other places where I didn't want to run down my phone's battery. So far, this feels like a great little answer to that need. This is a small little android device that seem surprisingly capable for things like listening to music or even watching video. I've been security conscious enough not to sign it into any of my existing accounts, but after loading a few MP3s and MP4s on a SD card, as well as side loading a few apps I've got a solid way to help keep myself entertained. The screen is a bit on the small side if you're looking to watch a lot of videos, and unfortunately the USB port doesn't work as a video out (sorry, XREAL Air owners, tried it and it didn't work), but for music this is probably one of the better options I've come across lately.
I was curious the difference between this and some of the other options listed by Innioasis. Apparently this is the G5, a newer generation of some of their previous devices. It's using the MediaTek Helio A25 and running Android 12, which really isn't a problem considering the entire purpose and focus is on music consumption and not gaming or daily phone use. I do have to give it a little bit of a knock due to running an older security patch of Android that I can't seem to update, and the battery reporting itself as only being a 1000mAh instead of the advertised 1800mAh. The battery does seem to last a good time though, with current drain rates showing about 10% use an hour with decently heavy use.
Overall, I'm pretty happy. The size & build feel good, the performance seems great for my uses, and overall I'm happy.
Pros:
- Good compact size
- Solid build
- Great for playing my music
- Battery lasts me the day without worry
- Bright screen that's surprisingly nice
- Included headphones are pretty comfortable and sound decent
- FM radio is a nice surprise
Cons:
- Older Android security patch that I can't update
- Screen is a bit small for video

Good Player, But Getting Started Is a Chore
When you first turn on the Innoasis device, you begin a tedious setup process. It asks for a lot of information, including a data transfer request that doesn’t explain what kind of data or where it’s going or coming from. I denied it. The text on the screen is tiny — I actually had to use a magnifying glass to read it. Ironically, near the end of the setup process there’s a step to change the font size. That should’ve been at the very beginning.
The instruction book only covers the basics, but you can find your way around the device with a little trial and error. It’s good that an SD card is included, because about 31% of the internal drive is already used before you even open the box, leaving around 22GB free. That will hold a lot of audio-only songs, but if you plan to load it with videos, you’ll fill the internal storage quickly and need the SD card.
Like most small devices, the built-in speaker sounds tinny — fine for podcasts or talk, but not great for music. Thankfully, it paired easily with my Groovz Bluetooth earbuds, and it also comes with decent wired headphones. The included headphones sound a little muddy but are OK for casual listening, plus they're comfortable and include extra tips, which is always nice.
It also includes a USB-C cable, but no adapter for older USB ports. Luckily I had a USB-A to USB-C cable on hand. If you don’t, that’s an extra purchase. Once connected to my computer, transferring music was simple and worked well.
The only app I tried beyond the Files and Music Player was Pandora. It accepted my login, but then oddly asked me to create an account when I tried to access my channels. I’ll have to tinker with that later.
Overall, once you get past the setup process, the Innoasis feels like a solid, capable player. Parents may appreciate the built-in parental controls, though I don’t personally need them. The device feels well made, has plenty of features, and is enjoyable once the initial frustrations are out of the way.

Solid and Compact Music Player
The device is compact—about half the size of my iPhone 14 Pro—making it highly portable and ideal for younger users or anyone who prefers minimalism. Despite its size, it feels surprisingly capable. The integration with Google accounts is seamless, which makes setup and syncing effortless for Android users.
The inclusion of a 128 GB SD card is impressive at this price point, offering plenty of storage for music, audiobooks, and apps without needing cloud access. The earbuds and charging cable included are noticeably higher quality than what’s typical in this category, reflecting thoughtful design choices.
Performance-wise, apps load quickly, and navigation feels smooth. The smaller screen isn’t ideal for heavy reading or gaming—especially for those with larger hands—but for music, streaming, and casual app use, it excels.
The parental controls are robust and easy to configure, making this device particularly suited for children or shared family use. Overall, it’s a surprisingly refined product that delivers more than expected for its size and price. It stands out as an excellent entry-level media player or a safe, feature-rich device for kids.
