INSWAN INS-3 Document Camera

Absolutely Unusable - Extremely Disappointed

am incredibly disappointed with this product. The build quality is terrible.

The main support hinge (the joint on the arm) is extremely loose. As you can see in the video, it's completely impossible to get the camera to stand up. The moment I let go, the entire arm just collapses and falls right down. It has zero tension and cannot hold its position at all.

This makes the product completely unusable. This has been a very terrible consumer experience, and a total waste of my money and time. I am extremely frustrated.

Requires Download

Item looks like the picture. I wanted to plug and use as a teacher, but a download requirement, which I cannot do on a work computer, prevented me from moving forward.

UPDATE: I attempted, again, to use this item, after pulling it from my closet, and noticed you can use a web version of the software, instead of downloading it. As such, I changed my review from 3 to 4 stars. It is sufficient for the low price.

It's decent

I got this mainly so I can teach people on how to crochet online, include the ability to mark something that was if needed to point out. I think this as a good fit. Can't wait to use it more often.

Perfect for teaching online.

This camera is my favorite for teaching online.

I use Zoom and this is perfect as a document camera, and yet it can be flipped up and point it at your face to use as a regular web cam.

Be cognizant of the fact that if you change the camera from pointing down to a document to pointing up at your face, the image will be upside-down. You must push the big red button for 2 seconds so that the image will flip (look up the instruction online).

Per instructions: "If your image appears upside-down, press and hold the AF buttons for 2

seconds to flip the image orientation. " See picture attached to this review.

Versatile detachable camera, microphone / video recording function improves my learning efficiency!

I've been using the INS-3 and am impressed with its performance, as the detachable camera makes it versatile, the built-in microphone and video recording function make it easy to record video assignment with my voice and share with my classmates, and it delivers good quality of the video and photos for academic use! Additionally, I have found that the INS-3 works seamlessly with most webinar software, such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, streaming smoothly for my different classroom needs. Overall, with affordable price point, I think INS-3 is an incredible value for money!!

Constantly crashes or freezes

Trying to use this to record videos and it would constantly freeze up and the video quality was very very low

Super buy!! Recommend to teachers.

My current camera in school is showing all my documents in green. It also takes so much space. This one is perfect!

I NEVER write reviews, I am not lying and I am not being paid for this review. I usually just take my buys and move on. But this one I must say is going to make my life easier, when I teach my second grades.
