No more buying cans of compressed air.

I do not know about the battery life, quality, or the airflow. It is a compact size and removes dust like a leaf blower would. Will update my review once December rolls around.

Almost as strong as a leaf blower

This thing was super powerful. Initially, I bought it to dust off the keyboard and dust went flying. Out of sheer curiosity, I took it to the patio to find out it made a good alternative to owning a leaf blower.

Does what I needed it for

5 star item but 4 star for being used.

~The item has clear marks of being used but it does the job.

~Air powerful enough to move even settled dust.

~its as loud as a vacuum but tolerable.

~wired so no charge needed.

~item is the size of a bottle of multi vitamins.

Works great when it works

I think theres a short in the cord or something. As you can see in my video (i bought this to get the hair and dust up in my barbershop) sometimes i have to push it a few times in order to to get it to work. I plugged it in multiple times outlets to make sure it’s receiving power. It worked great for the first two months, unfortunately my return window has closed.

It gets it done

This is a nice little blower. It has a pretty good power to it and the chord that powers it is about 12 feet long so I don't have to worry about being tethered to the wall. It comes with a nice assortment of nozzles but I'm only going to be using one of them. I only really have 3 complaints. The unit needs to have the switch on the back constantly depressed to be able to function. It's not something that you can just flip on and use. The unit has a tendency to run very hot as well and that heat extends to the entire machine as well. Unfortunately my unit that arrived was used. Everything works but the unit was filthy and I had to take the filter out of the bottom to clean it. The inside of the box was a mess as well.

Good so far. Wish the cheaper model still said ESD safe.

Reviewing Type 3 version. First I used it to clean 2 very dusty PC fans. It did a good job, only the slight base layer of dust was still left behind, but the fans will be used right away again so I don't think they need to be perfect. The next day I cleaned two fans we use in the house, a wind machine and an oscillating stand fan. Satisfying clouds of dust were blown out of each. From regular arm level I could even blow dust off the garage floor.

The unit is smaller than I was expecting but that's good. I've only used it a few times but no problems so far. The power level seems just about right, not worried about breaking anything but still does the job. I haven't used a can of compressed air in a long time so I'm not sure how it compares.

I could see people not liking the momentary power switch that you have to hold down, it's got a surprisingly strong spring so it takes some effort to keep it down with your thumb, but I understand why it is there, to encourage you to use it in short bursts and not keep the motor running for too long. I was able to keep the button held at lengths for as long as I could ever imagine needing to do, and I felt the discharge air temperature rise slightly, but nowhere near to any degree where I've seen people say the air gets "too hot" from these types of devices.

I do wish that it wasn't only the more costly Type 6 that mentions using ESD safe materials to avoid static electricity. Both models are advertised for PC use but the Type 3 does not specify ESD safety. I am hesitant to actually point this right into my PC, although I see reviews where many people have had no problems with it. I removed the fans and cleaned those, and the slight dust inside my PC case I just wiped up while I had things disassembled. Seems like Type 3 should not be listed for PC use if it does not have the same level of ESD safety. I did not need the more powerful motor or 2 speed switch of the Type 6.

It is good that the attachments have locking tabs, I was considering a different brand until I read that the attachments could actually blow off because they were the type to just slip on with no locking tab.

I am happy with it so far and it will save over buying duster cans. Just a shame that upon receiving it I don't really want to actually use it directly on my PC or expensive components. It would probably be fine, but I don't want to find out. Can't comment on longevity yet but I will definitely come back to report if it doesn't last.

Works GREAT for my needs !!!!!

This high powered blower is so much more efficient and more cost effective than air cans. I deal in vintage Hammond Organs and most have been sitting in garages or storage units for 25-30 years. Dust, dirt, cobwebs, things spilled...needs hardcore power...this unit provides it.

I read some low reviews for low airflow, heat and noise...it gives me plenty of air flow for 25-30 mins of constant use, air is slightly warmer as being used...not an issue for me....noise.....its no louder than a vacuum cleaner to me.

1 thing to watch....the air inlet covered by the filter is small so it gets covered by dust quickly because its pulling so much air through the inlet hole so fast. This may not be an issue for others but I try to blow out items fully before bringing them into my warehouse so Im not real gentle with directing the flow and the dust initially kicks up in a plume. But a quick finger across the filter clears it for more use.

Works Great

I didn't know what to think when I seen people saying it got hot but it doesn't seem to get as hot as some people say. It does warm up when continued usage. Worked great on my pc and my house fan. I can't speak on its durability but it doesn't feel cheap or like it'll break easy. The best part is that it does seem like a permanent solution to no more canned air. Much stronger than canned air as well

MAMAS NEW TOY ! Love it !! ♥️

Bought this just to clean our tower fans in my kids bedrooms. This worked amazing. It was so fun my husband snatched it from me to try it out himself lol definitely will use this often. My son also wants to try it to clean his PC. Great purchase! Ordered yesterday, it arrived today. Perfect ♥️

Power cable

If you want the inconvenience of a 3ft corded air duster, this is the one. It is strong if you can reach what you want to clean. So pull out the dresser, crawl under that bed, drag your device to the nearest open, accessible outlet and clean away. Great when you can get it to reach what you want to clean/dust. Odd that none of the reviews, pictures, nor videos want to show you the short useless cord. Well I will include this major set back.

Fantastic job

Did a great job, see for yourself. Just be careful when running for several minutes, will overheat. Finished cleaning my entire pc in less than 5 min!

Very powerful!

Great replacement for compressed air cans. Pressure is very good. Just hope it lasts a while. I expected to be loud, and it is. But 1000% worth it so far.

Editing to add it's been over a year and still going strong

Joshua

It’s pretty good

I used it to clean my PC (the inside), keyboard, and anime figures it was very effective. I even used to clean the dust in other parts of the house.

Powerful

This is a powerful little duster. It blows hard. I kind of needed something like this for all my tech stuff. Canned air can get pricey after a while. This is better than canned air and is a one time cost. It also has six different nozzles for different applications. I love this thing and how compact and useable it is.

Alex

Lightweight and Powerful with many attachments.

This lightweight duster is very powerful for its size. It comes with many attachments and long power cord. It's a bit on the loud side but considering the power it has it should be expected. I fix mobile devices and this is great for cleaning or drying off components . I even use it to dust off my work area after a job. I considered a cordless unit but I wanted to have something always ready for use and not worry about charging. No regrets.

Powerful and environmentally friendlier

I go through about 3-4 cans of compressed air per year and I have been looking for a better way to get rid of dust in keyboards, hard-to-reach areas in the car dashboard, etc. This device is like a tiny but powerful leaf blower. It plugs into a standard 120V outlet and provides a continuous burst of air that is far more powerful than the disposable compressed air cans. It also comes with a number of different attachments, which I'm sure will come in handy.

One small error - the instruction manual says for 220/240V only, but the unit itself has a 120V US plug and is labeled as 120V.

Powerful little blower

This little blower is pretty powerful. Doesn't take up much space when storing, 6 attachments are handy and the cord is pretty long. Great for cleaning in small hard to reach places

All Teched Out

Great value considering price of canned air

Doesn’t it seem crazy that air in a can costs so much? This is my review of the IT Dusters AirTec Ultra Electronic Air Duster Blower (Type 3). Mine came with six adapters and an instruction book.

So far I used it to clean out a keyboard, and I’m sure that was over 1 can worth. I could have used this a lot last year when cleaning out a couple of used computers, and I’m glad I have this for the next ones I pick up.

Overall the blower was strong and worked well. I used a dB meter to see how loud it is. With no attachment at arms length (like I was using it) I recorded 77 dBA at near my ear, and at around 3 inches it was 86 dBA. With the most restrictive attachment that rose to 86 dBA near my ear at arms length, and 95 dBA. So not a quiet as a can of compressed air, but a lot more air volume and savings over the long run.

I’m impressed with this blower, at the review time it is going for about $36, and that seems a better deal than a lot of other blowers.

Keep that dust out of your electronics.

I love this little blower. This machine will help keep your electronics (specially any with fans) lasting longer. It came in a nice box with a resealable bag of 5 adapters. "See Picture"

It has a powerful little 350w motor. I actually blew off my back deck with this today.

It also has a 6.5 foot cord. The On/Off button is placed at your thumb which is nice.

Feels very sturdily built. Highly recommend. Beats toting around a large compressor and the continual cost of canned air.

I no longer have to purchased compressed air cans.

TLDR: I recommend this, for use within reach of a power outlet. Works great in short bursts, multiple nozzles, good power. Can overheat.

A lot of power in such a small device. I was truly impressed with the power of this unit. So much so that I got carried away, and got it pretty hot. It is a motor, it will eventually get hot with prolonged use, or blocking the air intake, or restricting the airflow output. The small instructions include this info, but just mentioning for those that don't like to read instructions or warnings. I do it sometimes, I feel you, no judgement here.

So far I've cleaned 2 computers and their components, inside the tower, vents and fans. I used 3 of the different nozzles, and was able to reach anywhere I needed to. They were easy to put on and take off, and they stayed on while using. They did not "leak" air either. I would use it in short bursts, like compressed air. Just like compressed air getting cold and frozen when you hold the nozzle down too long, this will get hot if you do the same thing. However, this is NOT a negative IMO, and it works perfectly as intended.

It WILL NOT scrub off dirt, it blows off dust. If your stuff is extra dirty (I had some spots in areas,) clean it first, and then regularly dust with this. Much like anything else, preventative cleaning makes a world of difference.

I cleaned the parts in the garage onto the driveway, so I used a 20ft extension cord when using it.

Compact, solid and powerful

At 350W it is not as powerful as my other slightly bigger Meco with its 500W, yet it still packs a punch.

The quality of build is good. The blower feels solid and has some hefth to it. Unlike the Meco, it has only one speed setting which I do like, it also has a momentary switch, meaning it blows as long as you keep your finger on the switch which is btw an ergonomic round toggle switch, and goes off as soon as you let go of it.

The provided nozzles are of variant shapes and length. They screw in and hold in place securely thanks to 2 notches preventing any chance of them flying off with the air jet.

The noise level is what I'd expect from a blower this size and power. It is not loud but also not quiet. Noise is subjective anyway, just know it's a blower!

This Thing Really Blows....In A Good Way

I've always used compressed air cans to clean my electronics which works well enough for light jobs, but really starts to fail for larger jobs. The cans get ice cold (due to the release of pressurized air) and start to get weak until you let them warm up again. Plus those cans are expensive at ~$9 or $10 bucks. For the price of 4 expendable cans, you can get this blower and have a lifetime of dusting capability.

The unit itself is small-sized (compared to another duster I own) and is made with a gray plastic that you could easily mistake for metal. The cord is about six and a half feet. I would have preferred eight feet, but it is perfectly fine for 98% of the jobs I use it for. There is only one control, a momentary switch that switches on the high-speed motor. The thing is louder than a compressed air can...as about as loud as any Dyson product. The motor is rated at 4 amps...pretty crazy for a motor this size. Needless to say, it has plenty of blowing power. It really proves what a mains-powered blower can do when compared to a battery or USB-powered blower. The blown air gets higher in temperature the longer you use it since the air is cooling the motor as well as blowing the air. You might want to consider this if you are using it in a temperature-sensitive environment.

The unit comes with several nozzle attachments that concentrate or spread out the air stream. However, let's face the facts here: you are going to use one attachment that you like best and lose the others. I'd prefer fewer attachments and a break on the price than having a lot I'm never going to use.

I tested the unit on my keyboard and it worked great. I live in a house with a golden retriever and his hair gets everywhere, so this blower will be getting a workout. I also blew out a computer my nephew had brought over after he ran out of compressed air cans. It worked great. Computers do not necessarily need cleaning out that often, however, dust does increase parasitic capacitance in motherboards, and heatsinks and fans perform better clean. However, having a nice clean system just makes you feel better too.

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with this blower. It is a great value since it will replace a lifetime of compressed air cans and has exceptional power since it plugs into the mains. It is really competitively priced without sacrificing performance. Highly recommended.

Strong duster

I was a little hesitant to get a wired duster instead of one of the cordless ones, but I'm glad I did. I use dusters infrequently, so I don't want to reach for a duster I haven't used in a while only to find it needs charging.

This duster blows strong enough to dislodge a lot of stubborn debris that aerosol cans don't, and without running out of air.

Another great thing about this is that it doesn't leave any chemicals on the surface you're cleaning, like how aerosols do if you get the nozzle too close. Instead it's just air that has passed through the duster's filter.

The duster turns off as soon as you release the switch, so you don't have to worry about something like your kid turning it on while you're not home and leaving it on. Pressing and holding the on switch is easy, so the auto-off isn't annoying.

There are five different nozzles. They attach and detach easily while also remaining firmly attached.

The cord is just over 6-1/2 feet, so it's plenty long for working with electronics.
