Plastic and Steel Do Work Well Together
There is a fundamental problem with this product. The ring is made of lightweight plastic. The 4 holes at the bottom of the ring (see photo) are where you connect it to the adjusting element (see photo) which sits on the stand. The screws that are provided for that attachment are steel. With normal use, the metal screws will sheer the plastic threads in the ring holes, which means the screws will not hold and the ring cannot be connected the stand. When that happens, the ring light itself is of no use.

Be careful when screwing on phone holder as the plastic is cheap and cracked easily.
The base of the phone holder that screws into ring light (basically most important part of the ring light) cracked after one use. The description says the hole is a 1/4 inch, but I had to return the 1/4 inch replacement I bought because the hole was too small. 1/4 inch seems to be the standard size, hopefully 2nd replacement I ordered fits.

***The light has reset all my settings and it’s stuck on a yellow light now matter how much I try to change it. It’s frustrating because I use the light for makeup etc. I normally use a White light setting but no matter what I do it doesn’t change. I’ve since emailed the company. This is my second light from them. It will be my last if this one breaks as the first one did.
PROS: The remote works well and the brightness is great as it has different settings. I used this light for photos and for when I do makeup content. Also has Blue and Green Panels to switch out for photography content.
CONS:Sometimes the light will adjust itself and go dim. I’ll have it up bright then something will trigger it and the light will be dull so keep that in might if you’re using this for photography.
I’ve bought this twice only because the company said I couldn’t replace it because it was past warranty. The same thing happened to me twice the screws that connect the ring light to the tripod fall out and won’t go back in. I’ll probably have to buy some screw sealant so they can stay in. If you do decide to buy it keep in mind you have a 1 year warranty to exchange it.

Amazing Ring light But...
This Ring light is amazing and gives plenty of lighting to set the mood.
Only used up to 30% of the brightness.
My only problem is that my remote does not work. In the video you can see thr remote turning on briefly as soon as the battery goes in, it it stays off after that..
Also since it turns on you can tell it has a charge..
Contact support about 2 weeks ago and all the support I got back was sorry you are having this issue.
I can't return it because it was a Christmas gift to someone.
I can't replace it because they use it almost on a daily basic.

So I finally got to open and try this light.(as a health care worker during covid, I haven’t been home enough to put this together and missed the return window) it flickers but will not turn on. Really disappointed and it was a loss of money. I’ve had 2 neewers break on me as well. Not sure what to try next.
Addendum; the company reached out and helped fix the problem. So happy with their customer service

Screws Falling Out After Two Months
Screws falling out of fixture of the fastener. Manufacturing sucks. Flimsy neck. But the light is okay. Outrageous I paid over a hundred and it’s falling apart.

I love how bright this can get! And the remote control is so useful! Also assembly is very simple! I love that it has two different power options. I bought a set of rechargeable batteries to be able to shoot outside with this.

Brightness and color adjustment switch jump erratic or not all, there's lighting effect, read this

The ring light's adjustment switch for brightness and color temperature is terribly erratic. Even slow rotation it's jump two or three settings. On fast rotation it gets stuck on the setting and moves the opposite value. Everything is fine with the remote.
I'm frustrated that this item came different from the 1st order, This ring light has lighting effects by long pressing the button inside the dial adjustment switch. I get 3 lighting effects: Lit1, Lit2, Scre. I feel like it is missing more lighting effect setting.
The ring light seems decent when adjusting switch for brightness and color temperature change gradual or fast without much issue, even with the remote.

Both light stand of my 1st and 2nd are lopsided on one leg. It's the only thing that is poor in quality despite everything else that's included in the package is decent except the difference when I expect both of them to have the same lighting effects setting so I can amplify the effects for very scene or video photo. It's bad enough the one doesn't have SoS and both maybe missing additional settings which are not mentioned in the manual or product page.
Also, there's no quality assurance if I'm get an exchange expect that I get the same light effects. Not to mention time wasted.

This is an amazing light from IVISII company. This is one of the few 19’ Ring lights on the market with the possibility to use it without the power cord - purely on Batteries (sold separately which I also bought).
I also love that this light allows for 3 horseshoe mounts - this way I can keep various connectors in place without having to take them out and replace them.
The light also allows you to charge your phone through USB while it is shooting - this is an amazing add on and I love it!!
Also amazing that you can control the brightness and warmth through the remote control. Make sure that both the Light and the Remote are Set to the same channel - otherwise the light will not react to it.
I use this light all the time for my online ZOOM live streaming meetings, photos, and even for grooming my dog. :)
This is a great Ring Light and I highly recommend it!
Another advantage of this light is the Customer Service from IVISII. It is simply an amazing amazing company with an incredible customer service. When I had a complaint with my previous light from them - they replied the same day to my concern and sent me a replacement light for free. This was an incredible gesture from their side and I respect this company even more for trying to make their customers happy. Thank you IVISII!!!

So glad I went with this product. I'm 5'11 and wanted a tall ring light. Most are only 4 feet tall and you need to put them on a table every time you want to use it. I was willing to pay to invest in a quality product and it delivered. My only complaint is there was NO assembly manual. I had to watch 3 Youtube videos and then work through a process of elimination just to understand which parts went where. When I watched the youtube videos, all of their boxes came with an assembly book AND a screwdriver. Maybe I would have gotten those tools if I ordered straight from the company. Anyway, GREAT BUY!!!!!!!

Base mount needs some re-engineering/reinforcement, otherwise cool product.
Only issue I have with this product is the articulating base mount. If you bump the stand or barely shake it the whole ring will move/wobble side to side. (See attached video)
This may not be a big issue for most, especially if you are only using it with a phone or just stand alone lighting, but I would be a little leery at placing a heavy camera on the ring itself. I intend on using another stand for a DSLR camera and position it behind the ring.

Its great. My associates love it. The price is a little high. There are a few others on the market i feel as if the remote is a bit glitchy at times. There are no real directions with how the different channels and stuff work out the box. The tripod was more sturdy than i first thought it would be but with our professional grade camera i may look for something even more strong. Lots of different adjustments to the height. The travel bag is a nice touch. Kind of had to put it together myself and figure it out took maybe 10-20 min max. but the team enjoyed it overall no extra remote batteries where required everything came ready out of the box.

LOVEEEEEE THIS RING LIGHT. ! I get so many compliments on this light! I am a Makeup artist and Lash tech I LOVE that it has a remote, you can charge your phone on it, if you travel for clients, and say you have nowhere to plug your lighting in at, no worries.. 😉 you can purchase battery packs to insert into this ring light as well! The different lighting settings are PERFECT!

I have tried a few different ring lights and this is hands down the best quality and most user friendly that I have purchased. I’ve included pictures of what comes in the box and a picture I took using the light itself and the included accessories. As for the product overall...

Love this! I was skeptical since there are so many versions out there, this one isn’t the cheapest, and had few reviews. I’m pleased to say I’m very happy with it! Definitely worth the money. Adequately sturdy, and most importantly: fits my iPad Pro 12.9 (landscape only). None of the others on the market do right now. The phone attachment is outstanding. Effortlessly swivels from portrait to landscape and assists in leveling the shot. I did not receive the manual that others did regarding the light operations, but I can read what others have posted. I did receive all the pieces the others posted though. It would have been helpful to get mounting instructions as this was a bit confusing. I thought I was missing a piece, but I figured it out in the end. Love the padded bag. I wish there was a zipper pocket or smaller bag to house all the extra mounts, bits, and cords while not in use. I also didn’t realize the portable batteries were not included. I could have missed that in the description though. I’ll likely order them for shoots that don’t provide a power source. Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase and felt the cost was fair. I look forward to getting the diffusing ring. Thank you for making a great product!

Amazing value if you consider how easy it is to use and the included features!
This is the first Ring Light I have worked with and I am amazed at how well it can light a scene / person with only one lighting system!
I’m looking forward to using the colored filters to establish different types of moods. And hoping to use the battery feature in the future!
I’m a gadget guy and this kit comes with a plethora of gadgets! Adaptors, remotes, and a fully useable stand are some of the goodies in the box.
I plan to put this light to use in my 8th grade classroom. It’s size and easy to use features will be perfect for storing and teaching my students its functions. We are going to have some amazing looking video content this year!
This is my 2nd lighting kit from IVISSII and they make incredible LED lights for the value!

Best LED Ring Light! Even BETTER then their Upgraded version with the option to take batteries!
I've been using IVISII products for while now, I do permanent makeup and needed something to use while doing clients. I ended up loving the light and I used it for awhile up until they released the Upgraded IR-45 19" version which I purchased due to the fact that it had a LCD screen, you could adjust the brightness and also color temp with a dial rather than changing the LED covers and it also came with a remote to take pictures with your cell phone camera! I had used that light daily for awhile and the quality and performance of the light was great and I loved it! I thought it couldn't get any better, especially for the price and the fact you can't beat the quality and customer service!
But they went even further with this version offering the same great light with the option to run the light off of batteries!!! I loved this and instantly bought one since I sometimes do mobile services and this makes it so convenient to use! The light itself is the same as the Upgraded IR-45 version, but with a few added features! It of course has the adjustable dial for brightness and color, bright LCD screen which shows light level and color temp and they added on a USB 3.0 port so you can charge or power any USB device when needed! This was another great addition for me since I could now plug my phone in near my work station when it needed to be charged! The LCD screen also shows the charge level of the batteries which is great! It comes with everything that the Upgraded version came with some added stuff also.
It now includes a holder to use with your IPad or tablet which is great and their remote that allows you to control the light completely and also control more than one ring light at once. They also added in a set of red, blue and green filters for the light. I've been using it for a couple weeks now and it works great! I bought a set of their batteries awhile back for their LED panel camera light that I use to record videos on my Lumix G95 and have been using them in the light when I do mobile services and it works great being powered off batteries. I used the light for 3 over hours before I needed to charge the batteries again! I've used all accessions and they all work great. I can shoot pics with either my Panasonic Lumix G95 or easily using my cellphone or Ipad. The light the tripod is sturdy and supports the weight of the light well when pointed down at 180 degrees and even with my camera attached which was a problem for me with other lights. The knobs are good size and easy to tighten and just like the others it comes with a bag that it all packs away nicely in! I am completely with IVISII and the products they make and am SUPER HAPPY I made the purchase for this version! Now I can keep the original Upgraded version at my station in the Spa and bring this one with me!

INCREDIBLE NEW RING LIGHT SET!
I have been borrowing my friend’s IVISSI ring light and returning it over and over again for the last two years and I finally decided to buy one myself - and I’m so glad I did!
This new ring light set from IVISII comes with so much more than my friend’s set has - I could not believe all of the new features and improvements.
First of all, IVISII makes incredible LED lights. My friend has been using their products religiously, day in day out for the last few years and swears by them. As I said before, I’ve borrowed his on many occasions and was nothing but impressed by their performance - so much so that I bought my own set.
This new set comes with multiple camera mounts which work perfectly for my DSLR Camera, a mount specifically made for mobile phones and even a new mount made for tablets which is AMAZING!
In addition to all of the included mounting options there are new colored filters my friend’s set does not have - this set came with the white softening filter and red, blue and green diffusion filters.
This set also comes with a wireless remote to control the light - from it I have complete control over both the brightness and temperature of the light. IVISII even included a Bluetooth shutter remote that works with both my iPhone and my DSLR Camera!
Besides the items I’ve already mentioned, this set comes with the power supply - including both US and European plugs, an awesome padded carrying bag that has double handles and a shoulder strap and their super sturdy tripod.
When I told my friend all that this set came with and that it could be powered by two Lithium Ion batteries instead of having to be plugged in he asked to borrow mine!
The rear of the light also has a new USB 3.0 port that can be used to charge your phone or any USB chargeable devices.
This is such an incredible ring light set by IVISII - I really could not be happier with my purchase. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed using my friend’s IVISII lights and now I finally have my own!
