Stylish alarm clock + temperature display

LOVE this alarm clock! I have it in multiple rooms. It’s stylish, sturdy, dimmable and I love the temperature & humidity display. You can’t beat this price!

Rebecca

Love it so so much..

I LOVE this clock, it makes my nightstand look so classy. I went from a black/red clock to this white one. Wow, chefs kiss lol. I just received it, but have it turned on. The light is super bright, but you could dim it which is nice. I don't use the alarm in any of my clocks, so I don't know how it is. But it's really nice. I'll send the before and after pictures, so you'll see what I mean.

Highly recommend it !

This digital clock look like real wooden and have that boho minimalistic look!

Excellent little alarm clock with 3 alarm settings

Love the footprint and the design. Brightness is adjustable. Alarm volume is adjustable. Has a battery (CR2032) back up in case the electric goes out. Easy to set time and date.

AWFUL, wish I hadn’t purchased

For one, the design is so different than what is shown in photos. The design I selected appeared to have a natural wood look, which is why I chose this clock. But in person it looks like a white box with blueish numbers. Secondly, the design is trash. It comes with a plug but there is the “option” to use a battery- I purchased the proper battery just to be able to use this, and can not even get the battery box open, even with using the proper tools that should have worked. The screw is so tiny on the battery box that it is almost invisible, I have tried every tool possible (even ones used for eyeglasses) and it it impossible to open. Thirdly, the buttons are on the far BACK of the clock, so if you are trying to stop the alarm you have to be relatively awake to figure out how to shut the alarm off. At this point I won’t even be using the alarms, it will just be a an extra clock in my house. Finally, the humidity reader is inaccurate - I have a dehumidifier and even placing them next to each other the reading is significantly different. Truly I wish I hadn’t purchased this, it was a complete waste of money, but I don’t want to deal with the hassle of returning it. DO NOT BUY, if I could rate it 0 out of 5 stars I would.

Faulty

I ordered this clock a few years ago and it has worked great, I ordered another about a month ago and I think they changed the parts because they are now defective. The clock will turn off randomly after about 15 seconds, and when you touch/jostle it it will turn back on for another 15 seconds. I exchanged it thinking it was just one faulty clock, but the replacement clock does the EXACT same thing. I have tried different outlets and charging cubes, no difference is made. DONT BUY

I thought my daughter was crazy, but....

My daughter had this on her list for Christmas, so I got it for her. When I saw it on her list, I thought she was crazy and I just knew this "block of wood" was not going to look good and that the display wasn't going to be as clear as it shows in the pictures, but....I was proven wrong. This little thing is so freaking cool and super easy to operate. The sound control option (you know, like clap on clap off) is awesome. At the bottom in the second picture, you can see that there are 3 switches to turn on or off 3 of your saved alarm times. The display is so clear and bright, as well as adjustable, and I love how it shows the temp and room humidity. When it is turned off, it looks like nothing but a prism shaped piece of wood, there's absolutely no sign that it has a display area (again, I think that's neat and it's still driving me crazy that I can't find even a hint of the display lol). This is such an awesome little clock that when it first came in, my husband thought I bought it for him and he had already opened it, set the time, turned on the clapper, everything and he loved it....so his little heart was broken after I told him it wasn't his and that it was for our daughter. Oh yeah, and my daughter says she loves it too!!

Nice clock

Very easy to connect and install. You can easily adjust the brightness and change the settings to anything you like. I adjusted mine to show the room temperature and humidity, you can also change it to display the date

Great alarm clock!

This alarm is awesome. Probably not loud enough for a super deep sleeper, but it does have 5 volume levels. I love that it goes to sleep mode, keeping my room completely dark at night. All I have to do is snap or clap from across the room and it will light up to show me the time, temperature, and humidity level.

It's not super intuitive to set up - so you will need to read the included instructions. The instructions are very descriptive, well laid out, and easy to understand.

It works BUT….

Won’t stop blinking!!! It’s the power cord most likely but we don’t have extra power cords for this clock specifically. The display readings are correct, keeps the time right even with blinking. Started blinking about 2-3 months after purchase. Good looking clock, wish it didn’t blink!!!

Great for light sleepers

The best alarm clock ever !!! I am a very light sleeper, I can’t have noise or light in the room. The clock is completely silent and dark , it only turns on when it feels movement.

Perfect!

Beautiful, modern looking clock, exactly as shown in pictures. Blends in perfectly with my furniture. It is a bit brighter than I'd ideally like it to be, but after a day or two I got used to it. It's also really cool that it shows the humidity and room temp, I find myself obsessed with checking it and watching how it fluctuates throughout the day lolllll (it's even gotten me to order a humidifier- apparently my room is extremely dry?!). I had no intention of using the alarm when I got this clock, so I can't speak about this feature.

The only kind of weird thing was when you set it up, the scroll dial scrolls in the opposite direction than normal? (ie it has you scroll left to increase and scroll right to decrease). Not a big deal at all, was still super easy to set up it just felt really unnatural and I had to keep pausing to switch directions bc my finger automatically did opposite. Would also be cool if it had a feature to adjust brightness, bc I would totally utilize it!

All in all, great clock, functions well so far (I've only had it about a week), I have it plugged into the USB port in my TV- so even better, it doesnt waste any outlets! If you're looking for a simple, sleek, modern-looking clock, this is perfect ! I am happy with my purchase :)

Has a battery backup, and other useful notes:

This clock looks great and it's working well so far.

This clock _does_ have a CR2032 battery backup for keeping the time and settings when unpowered. It's behind a panel inside the 4xAAA battery bay, on the right side. If your clock isn't keeping settings when unpowered, try replacing this first.

The alarm sounds for one minute, then auto-snoozes for five minutes, then sounds for one minute, ... etc. This loop continues for at least half an hour (got bored and stopped testing). It's a fairly standard three-beep -> pause loop at moderate volume, so a louder phone alarm as a backup may be advisable for heavy sleepers.

The instructions are simple and easy to follow; almost every function is explained by a few lines printed on the outside of the box.

This may vary by seller, but mine did come with a wall wart to provide power via the USB A <> Barrel Plug cable.

The white 'PM' indicator rectangle visible in some pictures is just a sticker next to the PM indicator light position, not some model variant.

Awesome Alternative to Xfinity X1's Missing Clock

We really love this little clock.

I recently upgraded my X1 box from Comcast, and even though the new box is smaller and more sleek, it is missing the clock face my old one had.

Needless to say, we reallyissed having that convenience on our entertainment tower.

I was searching for a stylish clock that would match the style of dark electronics and dark grain wood, and also not have obnoxiously bright or gaudy-looking numerals.

This one fits the bill perfectly.

The wood grain on the clock looks great, and the numbers just show up through the veneer, which gives it a swanky appearance. No obnoxiously glossy plastic lenses to attract dirt or glare with the reflected lights in the room.

We use ours on the medium brightness, which matches the text on the Yamaha receiver upon which it sits.

It is easy to set, and the humidity and temperature readouts are a nice touch.

I can't speak to the alarm features as we don't use it for those features.

Customer service appears to be proactive; although we have had no issues, "Amy" from the company was kind enough to reach out via regular mail, to follow up with our level of satisfaction. That is impressive.

Overall, I truly recommend this clock.

Great Product 👍🏻

When I was looking for a new alarm clock for my bedroom, I didn’t just want any clock, I wanted something unique to match my room. That’s when I stumbled along this clock. I really love the design on the front and the texture. Everything is so easy to use and is so clear to read. There are brightness settings on this clock too, while other clocks are either too bright or too dark.

Always has the right time! No matter how many times you unplug this clock and re-plug it back into a different outlet, it will keep the the same time as before. With other clocks, once you unplug the clock it automatically resets the time which has always been a problem for me because I could never take those clocks anywhere. But when I found out that this clock always keeps the time you set it to, I was very happy 😊.

I definitely recommend this clock to anyone who gets excited by these exquisite features with an affordable price like I did. I do not regret my decision and am looking forward to using this clock for a long time.

If you’re on the fence, buy it!

I bought this on a whim because I needed a functioning alarm clock to replace my phone. Skimmed through the reviews and thought Ok let’s give this a try.

It’s so much better than I even expected. The display is gorgeous, the design is impeccable, it’s easy to set up (but don’t throw the instructions away), the clap/snap mode (I forget what it’s called. Sleep mode?) is very responsive, and it’s worked great as an alarm so far. I can clap at it across the room and it lights up immediately. Love this thing.

Love this clock for my bedroom it can do it all!!

I absolutely love this clock! I got this as a replacement alarm clock, that I actually set up across the room from my bed on a dresser so I have to get up out of bed to turn it off for the alarm!

I actually have a very unique I Eye condition and the fact that the dimming of the light of the time is adjustable was absolutely life-changing for me! So I don’t have that super bright LED alarm clock glare from across the room. I love the fact that we can set up different times for the alarm clock to go off. It was fun to even have a choice between military time on the 24 hour scale or the a.m. p.m.

For me it’s also an added bonus again due to my eye condition that I can actually have the humidity in the room reflected on this clock!! And because I live in South Carolina and I have a tendency to run the air conditioning a little colder during the sleeping hours, if I’m feeling a little warm I can actually look at the temperature in the room from my clock, and decide whether or not to get up to either add a fan or double check with the AC is actually set to correct temp.

It's Okay

When I kept seeing listings for this clock (and others similar to it), I kept wondering, "How do they make digital displays like this in blocks of wood to make a clock?? What wizardry is in play here??" Well, I finally pulled the trigger and bought one after I decided to purchase a different clock for my bedroom. Boy was I disappointed to learn there is no magic behind the tech!

This clock is cheap - and I mean that in both senses of the word: inexpensive, and cheaply made. I learned that it's not actually wood at all, but thin, lightweight plastic with a wood-look sticker around the clock itself, which the LEDs shine through so we can read them. Disappointment Number 1. Disappointment Number 2 came when nighttime arrived, I put the clock on its lowest brightness setting (I dislike "light pollution" at night when I'm trying to sleep - I even put electrical tape over other indicator lights that are always on so that they're not shining in the room) and went to bed; and this clock still puts out quite a bit of light despite being on the lowest setting. I did read there's some sort of "sleep setting" on this clock, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out what that was or how to activate it.

One of the things I do like about the clock is the easy-to-read display, even from a distance. You won't be squinting to read it, regardless whether it's daytime or nighttime. I also like that it displays the temperature and humidity of the room, especially since I choose to sleep in my basement (it's often cooler, darker, quieter, etc. than the rest of the house), and knowing the humidity level in the basement is helpful in letting me know when I need to run my dehumidifier.

Another thing I like is how the clock looks. I have a modern/contemporary design theme going in my basement, and this clock fits right in. Despite being cheaply-made, it doesn't really LOOK like it is unless you get close and pick it up.

Wishes: I wish there were an even dimmer setting on this clock - one that allows you to just barely see the display at nighttime without putting out an unnecessarily-high amount of light noise. I also wish it had a USB port for charging my phone while I'm sleeping. Further, I wish it would display the day and date. Being retired, it's easy for me to lose track of that information, and it's nice to have it at the ready when I first wake up each day. Lastly, I wish it were made of real wood, but I imagine were that the case, I'd have paid five times more for it. So I can live with the fact that it just looks like wood.

Since I don't use the alarm feature (this thing appears to have three different alarms you can set), I cannot really comment on this function. When I need to set an alarm, I just do it on my phone as most of us do these days.

Overall, while this clock does have its shortcomings, for the price it will do the job. I would buy it again if I had need for another clock like this.

Love it!!!

Love this product, very easy to use! I also like that there is an option to have it turn on by sound because at night it isn’t lit. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a modern alarm clock.

A simple, clean, smart piece

The light wood has a Scandanavian vibe to it, it's simple & clean lines are lovely. Which is a plus to the smart function of the light being off (if you choose) until you tap on it, or clap, or the like. Perfect for sleeping. Had this blonde wood come with a white or cream cord for plug in, that would've been the package. As is, the black cord stands out sharply in a sea of soft light creamy elegance. Dang. Just be aware if you're getting the blonde wood for purposes of keeping in a soft theme, you'll need to figure that out somehow. Otherwise, it fits the bill in ways that matter more, imo. I didn't find anything online here that was as well thought out in functionality, or in minimalistic design.

Basic alarm clock, beautiful design.

It works really well, I like the multiple alarm capability, the adjustable brightness, and the sleek modern design. I don't use the "sleep mode" where the clock face shuts off until it reads a sound... I don't know a cool feature I guess, but not really something I have a need for. I also don't really pay much attention to the humidity/temperature function in the corner, it wasn't my driving point of purchasing the product so I can't really speak to the accuracy of those figures. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was setting the clock can be a bit complicated to remember the functions of each button, not difficult by any means but you will want to keep the instruction booklet for future reference if you wish to change the settings. Overall I'm pleased with my purchase it is what I needed, a sleek and small alarm clock with a unique design element and a perfect functional piece of decor for my bedside table.

Great clock for the price!

This clock is exactly what I needed! I put this clock across my room to make me actually get up in the morning. The display is easy to see, brightness can be turned down low enough so it’s not disturbing at night, but still seeable. The sound activation is a cool feature too!

With small changes this could be a home run

I really like the clock and think it looks nice. The process for setting the time and alarms and everything is not super intuitive, but the instructions make it manageable. My only complaint (and it's purely an aesthetic one) is the power cord. The power input goes in perpendicular to the face, but since it is a triangle shape this actually causes it to point upward. And it is by no means a low-profile connector. So when you are looking at it (if standing) you can see the power cord poking out the top of it. All they had to do was move it to the bottom of the unit, or at least make it a flat right angle one so it doesn't poke up like that. Like I said, maybe that's just me but it takes away from the looks. But as far as the clock face and everything else about it, I like it so far. Also would have been nice to have a USB connection on the back to charge phones. But for the money you can't beat it

Nice looking clock but very short life span. Lasted 1 year and 2 months.

I purchased this clock on January 1, 2020. It worked well the entire time with no issues. However, as of a couple of days ago (Feb 2, 2021), it began randomly turning off but will turn back on periodically or with vibration. I think something has deteriorated or came lose internally. This clock has not been moved from my nightstand since its purchase except for dusting and minor adjustment.

Unfortunately, the warranty is only for 1 year. I will likely not be buying again to replace.

Very nice bed side clock

I have owned this clock for a few days now and wanted to provide information about my purchase. The color I choose is black. I purchased on a lighting special. It’s not very large and fits very good on my bed side stand. First off, you will have to actually read the instructions to setup this clock. Which is not a bad thing! Once I figured out the setup, all was good. One thing I noticed, was the setting up month, day and year. I could not figure out why anyone would need to do this, because there is no display for these? But, okay. You may notice a small red item on top of the clock in the photo. I was trying out a red Christmas paper to place over the display at night to tone down the numbers. It does work, but I think this was only a test! I had the brightness at the lowest setting and found this to be just a little brighter for my liking. Also, in the photo I placed my temp and humidly gauge next to the clock as to compare readings. As you can see, all is good! I hope this little information will help the next person!

It's a unique clock

I love this clock. I have always liked having a clock by my television or cable box and I needed a replacement. The look and design of this clock caught my eye so I thought I would give it a shot. It looks great on my entertainment center which is solid wood construction. On movie night when the room is dark the numbers look as if they are suspended in air. There is three different brightness settings so it's illumination is not obtrusive. The only reason I gave it a four-star is due to the temperature reading truly does run about five degrees warmer then what my thermostat says. The makers do warn about this in the user information. It also has a relative humidity setting that seems to work okay but not really sure what it's good for. I would prefer just the date and time. That's all the clock really needs. It also has motion detection which works just fine but I leave mine on all the time. Otherwise it works great and looks cool. UPDATE: I am upgrading this review to a five-star because of the excellent service I received from the company yesterday. I went to reset my clock to daylight savings time and once done forgot how to put The display into constant display mode. I emailed Three Ducks And they sent back the solution to my problem the very next morning. I get so many compliments on this clock and have never had any problems with it!

"Sound" control can be improved

I got this one for our nursery because I used to have an analog clock and thermometer on the night stand but neither would light up and it was always really hard to see time and temperature during 2am feedings. So I got this one which looks really nice and included both light up time and temperature all in one.

I keep it in the power saving mode so that it's dark in the room unless I need to see the time. I thought I just had to touch the clock to have it light up but I have to tap it with my nails pretty hard a few times which isn't always good when baby tries to fall asleep. The clock is made out of plastic and slides on my table so I had to put rubber feet on it since I need to tap it pretty hard for it to light up.

Other than that it's perfect for what I need it for.

Three alarms and sound/tap activated readout

This is a great little clock with three separate alarms, a temperature sensor, and a room humidity sensor. The numbers are very clear and can be adjusted to 3 light levels. I set it to the lowest light setting. That's plenty bright. You can choose to see the numbers all the time, or only on demand. In that case, the numbers stay off until you tap on the clock or knock on the table it's sitting on. The numbers light up for 30 seconds and then turn off again so the room can stay nice and dark. I really like that feature since light keeps me awake.

The alarms all have a snooze. If you ignore the alarm it will turn off on its own after one minute and turn back on in four minutes, so it acts like a five-minute snooze. The volume is not adjustable. It's loud enough to hear in another room if the door is open, but not aggressively loud. It sounds like a triple beep. If you're a light to medium sleeper it will wake you up.

I'm including a couple of pictures to show what it looks like with the number light on and off. The wood paneling over the number plate is a slightly different color from the rest of the wood, and faint shadows of the digital numbers can be seen when the light is off. This doesn't bother me, but if you're looking for a clock that looks like a solid piece of wood, this doesn't quite achieve that.

I needed a small clock with multiple alarms to remind me of some daily events that I normally forget-- to take medication, to turn off screen devices, and to read before bed. A phone alarm didn't work because it was too easy to turn off without thinking, but a physical clock forces me to move across the room to turn it off. It's just enough to get my attention.

Overall, I'm very happy with this clock. It does just what I need.
