Great speaker
JBL is where it’s at! I was wanting a nice wireless speaker bar for my LVS(street legal golf cart) but the only true wireless speaker bar is $500. I wasn’t ready for that commitment and probably never will be now that I have the JBL. Others in the LVS FB group and a friend said JBL. I wanted a speaker I didn’t need to remove and wanted it loud. Besides having to press the power button too long to power down(reason for 4-5 stars. It should be 4.5/5.), it’s a great speaker. I had a Flip 4 and have an old To Go JBL so I know it should power down easier. The size is great. I could maybe go a little large for my LVS but that’s not a ding. My friend said JBl customer service is AMAZING. Her and her children are long time fans! The speaker is LOUD for me. I can hear the words of the song when I cruising down the street. The IPX is 67 which was a big deal with me since the speaker stays on my LVS.

Power Bank
El paquete puede cumplir con las expectativas lo único malo fue que al momento de destapar el producto no viene el Power Bank como lo anuncia la caja.

The best brand
These JBLs are the best. They sound super loud and have incredible bass. I've had another one for over two years, and they're the best on the market. It's definitely worth buying them.

I live by JBL...
Perfect speaker. I live by JBL, I upgraded my JBL flip 4 to this speaker! The weight is a tad on the heavy side. It is a great value for your buck. Size is a tad big for my little hands to carry.. The sound is nice, crisp and clear!

JBL Charge 5 Portable Bluetooth Speaker
I ordered the JBL Charge 5 portable Bluetooth speaker, it really exceeded my expectations, it sounds super loud, I am delighted with it, if you want to buy it I recommend it, I chose a pink color so my husband doesn't grab it.

Great sound, amazing battery, and totally waterproof!
I was unsure at first if the sound would be good enough for my summer vacation, but it absolutely IS! I used it for over 18 hours at full volume and the battery didn’t die. I even took it on a jet ski, got it wet, and it still played perfectly. Great sound, amazing battery, and totally waterproof!

Great Speaker, Not Perfect
It sounds great, it’s easily connected, and it’s attractive. It becomes less attractive once the non-skid rubber grips on the bottom have fallen off, which occurred within a year. I tried super-gluing the first couple when they began to detach, but that wasn’t successful. I’m still looking for something else to stick to the bottom using industrial adhesive.

It's ok, but sound could be better quality.
UPDATE - after using this speaker quite a few times, I am actually not impressed by the sound, I often get disappointed actually and I'm very sad about this! After mentioning this, my friend said that ya, It's understandable because Sony is a much better middle ground priced quality speaker, Oand That JBL is known to be on the cheaper side of quality. I hear it now ! It sucks cuz I didn't spend a lot of money on the speaker in there I really love the way it feels and looks . But I will be getting a different brand for my next one unfortunately . ORIGINAL post - I got this camouflage charge 5 to replace my charge 4 And I am extremely impressed with the way it looks, feels and sounds. Even if nothing else changed about it but the way it looks, it was worth the upgrade!! The look of it is just so striking and the orange in contrast with the beautiful camouflage and green, looks just awesome. Of course the sound is perfect and full, just like the charge 4. Five stars for sure!!

Value for the money
I Love listening to music so I was in search of a portable speaker with great size and sound, when I came across this speaker I was in love that it came in my favorite color pink. It connected fast to my phone and the over all performance is fanominal the sound is off the chain with the bass, I love listening to music loud and this speaker did the job, charging is simple and easy and fast which I love. Great size and value for the money. Very portable you can take it with you anywhere. Will definitely recommend this.

Defective device
Bought this device with great hope, however within one hour of use, noted there was an issue with the base and songs seem to be waxing and waning with loss of base and sounds like puffs literally. Never had any issue before buying such devices however this one is defective even though it was a renewed device. Can someone reach out to rectify this issue?

Supercharged Sound!
For so long, I convinced myself I didn’t need it, and yet when there was a discount on it, I concluded with one thing.
I needed it.
So of course I had to buy it and boy oh boy, is this such a great speaker. Speaking on size, this speaker was a lot bigger than I imagined. It’s a lot bigger than the Charge 3, which was pretty big in my eyes, but this feels a lot bigger. I wouldn’t say it’s the most portable speaker, unless you have a very large bag or are comfortable carrying it around. This thing will definitely be staying at home with me 80% of the time. As you can see, this thing is a lot bigger than the Flip 6 while being a lot smaller than the Xtreme 2. Speaking on the quality, this thing looks absolutely amazing. I simply love the aesthetic look and the green just looks amazing alongside the Flip 6. It feels incredibly sturdy to hold and it feels lightweight! And from my experience, the battery life is pretty fantastic, but I don’t believe it is the full 20 hours like advertised. And charging does take a bit, but the speaker being USB-C is a major convenience.
Finally, let’s talk about the sound. When I compared it to the Flip 6, I was quite impressed.
For the size difference, the Charge 5 comes across as much louder and retains much of its bass as you put the volume up, and against the Xtreme 2, I’m surprised at how well it held off on it’s own. I definitely prefer the Charge 5’s sound signature over the Xtreme’s. The Charge 5 is a bass monster and you can really feel it during a lot of songs. With the adjustable EQ within the JBL app, I was able to tune the speaker to how I’d like, which is always a helpful feature.
Overall, the JBL Charge 5 is a loud, powerful, but also attractive and trendy looking speaker. In terms of whether you should buy this over the Flip 6, it’s really up to what you need. If you a small speaker you can easily carry around, get the Flip 6. If you want a souped up, larger, but also more powerful speaker that is a little more difficult to take on the go with you, but that’s not an issue with you. Get a Charge 5, but also wait for a discount.

Little marvels of technology
Certainly no audiophile here but I do enjoy good sound. I have a large Aiwa which is an amazing speaker, but was shocked when this lil guy produced comparable and nicely balanced sound. Got another and was absolutely blown away by the sound when played together. Ridiculous portability and sound, plus a nice app to customize EQ though it really doesn’t need it. Got an XB43 at the same time but didn’t keep it because the JBL blew it out of the water. Rock on my friends 🤘
PS I still recommend the Aiwa as an at-home, always on speaker

Worth it!
Easy to connect. Sound quality is excellent for such a small speaker AND it’s waterproof. So glad I spent the extra money on a quality speaker.
