LOVE. THEM.

SO COMFORTABLE! Sounds wonderful! App that accompanies Jlab allows for complete customization. Battery uses about 10% per hour for my experience.

Open ear buds

Followed the instructions to connect and also register them online was easy and fast. Not the first product from Jlab that I have purchased nor have I ever had an issue with them as well. Definitely recommend it to others.

Awesome

I’ve had these for a couple months now. I use them mainly for work. They’re really great. I have to charge them every 5 days with 8h continuous use and the sound is really what’s expected of an open ear earbud. Would buy again for sure, and you really can’t beat the price.

Comfy

I like these. Very comfortable in my ears. I keep thinking one fell out but nope it’s still there. Its just there is nothing shoved in my ear like I’m used to. Sound quality is fine. I can’t really rate that, I mean, I can hear my music clearly. I’m using them for work so I’m not moving around a lot but at no point have they felt like they were unsteady. And the teal color was a plus because I really wanted that. The only thing is they don’t come with a cord. I didn’t take off a star tho because I already had one at work, but if you don’t you’ll need to buy one. And I prefer my directions in print, instead of a QR code but that’s just me probably. Today is the first day using them( because I didn’t have a cord at home:( when they arrived this weekend. So far they’re good.

Connectivity issues

I want to like these. The sound quality is great. And I’m a huge sound quality person. I’m not into too much bass or treble. I love a good warm sound. So the sound quality is not an issue. The issue I have is with the connectivity. I’ve had these earphones for about two days. And I have put them through the wringer. I’ve walked around Walmart. I’ve cut grass. And every time I put my phone in my pocket, the earbuds become disconnected. They get out of sync. I don’t know if it’s just this pair. But again, I want to like them. The hold on my ears is quite snug. I love the app. It lets me customize my EQ. It also allows me to turn off the touch features when I’m moving around too much. The microphone is phenomenal. One of the reasons why I pick these is so that I can have an open hair concept and I can hear people around me and still be able to talk to whoever I’m talking to on my phone. No complaints there. I have bigger ears and I wish I could get them closer to my ear canal, but that’s neither here nor there. The major issue is the connectivity. Fix that and this product would be top-notch.

My favorite ear buds of all time! See ya, AirPod!

As a former AirPods owner, I’ve officially and formerly been converted (bows down). All hail these JLab Flex earbuds, my favorite I’ve ever owned after 40 years of ear buds!

I was very skeptical at first due to the price being lower than other brands - the sound is exceptional in fact better than my 2nd gen air pods!! It has a built in equalizer in the app which you can use to customize your sound even more!

The open feature allows my to hear my surroundings which is absolutely so cool! Didn’t realize how much I would love this feature!

When people need to communicate with me at the gym, I just pause my music or podcast and I don’t even have to remove my buds!

I would rate these 10 stars if there were more to offer.

I have a love hate relationship with these!

I’m only giving these a 3 start because I’m a little disappointed in JLab. The battery life on these are not it. Maybe I’m spoiled because JLabs other ear buds battery life last forever! I maybe have to charge my other ones every 3 to 4 days. And these? Everyday they need to be charged. They also don’t come with the charging USB OR C PORT. So I took a star away for that too. These two things (and the sound quality) is what draws people to JLab earbuds in the first place. So taking them away and charging more for them seems extremely ridiculous to me.

But funny enough, I find myself STILL reaching for these things. I work in an office so I wear them every day. Being able to listen to music or watch a movie while I work is important to me but I also need to hear what’s going on around me. These are actually perfect for that. They are comfortable and hug your ear perfectly. Doesn’t hurt and it’s not uncomfortable at all. Maybe just take some getting used to but eventually you’ll forget your even wearing it.

It’s my first time trying ear buds like this so I didn’t know what to expect sound wise but the quality is great. Exactly like what I would expect from JLab. There’s still bass which is great because that’s not something I wanted to sacrifice. It’s just different from the traditional ear buds.

Overall, I think these shouldn’t cost anymore than $25 maybe $30 bucks. $40 is way too much for these.

Does not consistently work

Bought for running. Only lasted 2 months before left earbud stopped pairing/working. Works long enough until you can no longer return it. Before that, it randomly loses connection while I’m on my runs. You get what you pay for - I will be buying an actual name brand so it lasts longer next time. Still not really a value for your money.

Comfortable earbuds

Very comfortable to wear. I wear prescription glasses and have always had problems with other ear buds.

These are great.

Great pair of buds!

Sound good, fit good and what else is there 😄For the price point and the open ear design these are a great option! I did not expect deep bass and immersive sound but I got a good amount of both considering they are open ear. I WANT to hear what is going on around me when I'm outside or in public and these let me do that while being loud enough and easy enough to control when I want to literally tune out others. The bass isn't a throbbing deep bass but it IS there and I was surprised at that. The highs and lows are crispy clear as well and the equalizer pre-sets are nice for listening to different genres. These are so good I will be gifting this pair as a gift because they STAY ON OUR EARS unlike the air pod types or the in ear kind that cause ear fatigue within an hour or so. This also means he won't lose them when he's rocking out in his own little jam session! They are flexible too so putting them on/taking off is a simple one-handed task. The deep teal color is nice and visually loud enough to make them easy to spot should I drop one and have to look for it.

These connected too my phone (Samsung) without wasting a single brain cell. The app I downloaded right before pairing took care of any questions I had about controls. I'm happy about the easy to remember tap functions and don't miss the physical button at all. I laid my head on the pillow on my side (intentionally) and decided I could easily fall asleeep with these one.

I have a pair of the Soundcore Aero Clips and I was in love with them. Now I'm in love with THESE! They actually sound better and cost less than HALF the price! (Although my Soundcore C5Oi are my true winners and also currently at a great price!) I left my phone in my room and walked maybe two rooms away and they stayed connected. I'll be trying them outside while gardening later (when my pbone stays in the closed in porch while I'm all around the yard) & I have great expectations!

They work as a pair and individually, potentially providing even longer play time. I haven't had them long enough to test the battery life but when I connected to my phone I saw that they came fully charged. A C-port is on the back so my phone charging stand of any USB-C cord will work with these (they do not come with a cord). I haven't sweated in them but when I move around in any way they stayed put. The sound is a little deeper or lighter depending on how I place them on my ear as well and I like that!

So far they are worth the price. Glad I took a chance on these rather than the higher priced options!

SAHM must have.

I bought these looking for something smaller and more comfortable than my current headphones, and they’ve been a great fit for that. They’re incredibly comfortable, discreet, and convenient. I often forget I’m even wearing them.

I have two kids, so it’s really important for me to be able to hear what’s going on around me, and these make that easy.

The sound quality isn’t the best, but that wasn’t my main priority. I mostly use them for podcasts, so it works just fine for my needs.

Battery life is decent. On days I’m not working, I’ll wear one earbud throughout the day, and when the battery gets low, I simply switch to the other.

Secure but still very comfortable

They work great and are very comfortable and secure. They don’t hurt bc they aren’t too tight. Bc they don’t actually go in your ear they don’t make your ear super waxy. They are very easy to pair also and downloading the app gives u so many options to personalize them with music and movie modes and many other options. They look good and are definitely worth this price! You definitely get more bang for your buck with these. My normal ear buds have also been this brand for years and I love them

Win. Buy em! Great sound safe for women outside

Five stars for the headphones 1 for the box 📦 🤣 make sure you download the app immediately so you can adjust the sound as the quality straight out the box is not so great but change the mode ( balanced wasn't bad but I choose to do custom ) and the sound is magic - love the fit - open ear is the fix for women outside running or walking alone who want to hear great sound and be in control of how much of your surroundings you can hear as well! Stay safe ladies theres are PERFECT for work outs and any and time outside! Comfortable snug fit actual easy to use buttons on ear ear - i always had trouble getting my galaxy buds to do what is wanted them to do these are straightforward and easy to remember better than pricier options !

Excelente audifonos!

Muy buenos estos audífonos de JLab,..cómodos,un sonido genial!

Sooo much better than regular earbuds

Out of the box it had very crackle-y audio, like the cheap foam headphones you’d get in 2007, overall grainy and low quality, high pitches were like record scratching. I downloaded the app and used the audio mixer and it’s sooo much better!! If you audio is bad out of the box, try that!!

Thank goodness i figured it out because i had to destroy the box to open, ridiculous packaging.

Fit is great, tight around the ears but not painful, unnoticeable after a few minutes. My boyfriend has a year old pair of these that are much looser so i assume they won’t fit so well over time, we'll see..

I hate regular earbuds, they make my ears itchy and feel like they’re blasting sounds straight into my eardrum. Over ear headphones hurt because i wear glasses. Both of those options make hearing the world around me impossible. These solve all three problems, perfect!!

Here’s the scoop

So here’s the thing I love the color selection and the sound quality however, I am not a fan of the fit in my ear. This is a dupe of the open ear concept so I purchased another brand that feels a lot better. The battery life is pretty great and the quality of the actual item is very nice. It’s just that it doesn’t feel good in my ear. It feels like something is in my ear and it’s uncomfortable. However, this was on sale which is really great so I would say compared to the ones that I did purchase it is substantially more affordable.

They are uncomfortable for small ears.

They hurt my ears after prolonged use, I give them about an hour or two of usage and my ears begin to feel sore where the speaker goes near the ear canal. Although my ears are small, as you can see in the pic.

They do have great sound, great for night runs because you can still hear what’s around you even with max volume.

Ear infections begone!!

I LOVE THESE EARBUDS

If you're prone to ear infections or have smaller ear holes (both of which apply to me) these will save you so much pain mentally and physically. I have had I think about five jlab earbuds/headphones and I can attest to its quality (peep the lux jlab headphones in the first pic lol).

However there is one major flaw in this product and it has to do with the way it charges.

So like every other Bluetooth earbuds, you technically charge the case and case charges the buds. But when the earbuds use battery and you plug it back in it charges in the case (even when it's not plugged in ofc) but the case will literally charge the buds until it (the case) is dead. And when the case is dead it doesn't matter how much battery the buds have because it can't tell that you've taken the bud out of the case and tell the bud to power on because the case is dead. With past jlab products it would say "low battery" every minute or so which I much more prefer than putting my earbuds away, taking them out to listen to music again, and finding out the case died with no warning and because the case is dead you cannot use the buds.

One more plus about these buds specifically though, is that if you have ear piercings it doesn't or press down on the piercings (unless you have chunky jewelry in your higher piercings, I suppose). You will need to "open up" the bud instead of sliding them on and off, though. At first I had to use two hands to do this, but you'll figure out how to do it with one hand. And you can wear it higher or lower on your ear by just shifting it around.

UPDATE: So I've had these for about seven months now and they're still good and I love the idea of open earbuds and their actual performance is still great. HOWEVER, the battery life has significantly dropped and I used to be able to get away with charging them every few days and I listen to music with them almost all of my shift, but now it seems like I have to charge them every single day. Nothing is worse than getting to work opening my earbuds and seeing that the case is dead and I can't use them that day.

Returning them on the same day they were delivered

I have the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and love listening to music on them because the sound quality and how it spreads around is just amazing. So I was hoping to find earbuds that could give me that same open-ear feel.

They don’t even come close. The sound is flat and dull, nothing like the open, spacious feel I get from the glasses. It actually reminded me of those old ’90s wired headphones—open-air by accident, not by design. These earbuds try to do “open-ear,” but it just ends up being low-quality audio mixed with all the background noise.

They won’t connect to my smart TV either, which is a bummer. And the touch controls? Super hit-or-miss. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t. Honestly, they feel cheap and definitely aren’t worth it.

Why aren't they new???

I ordered 2, one for my wife and 1 for myself. Both showed up in the same box. The issue is they are both used/refurbished, when they are supposed to be brand new. One box is sealed with painters tape and the other has best buy inspection tape on it. When pairing both ear pieces, each unit has also been renamed in the bluetooth menu. What the hell?? Buyer beware!

Nice earphones with buggy charging(?)

Great earbuds that stayed on, were water resistant, had great sound and battery life that lasted about 6hrs after charging. These would be five stars however for whatever reason the right earbud stopped charging and only turned off when it wanted to. I have yet to find an explanation as to why it stopped working, it is very annoying. It will not turn off when placed into charger, and it seems to only charge when it wants to. You can see in the photo that the right earbud is still paired and is where all audio is going through, EVEN WHEN ITS IN THE CHARGER! Charging prongs are intact and the connection is clean and intact as well, I am at a loss of words as I really liked these earbuds.

Zero quality control

I wish I could tell you how these are. After enduring 10 minutes to open the product box, I discovered completely illegible instructions. Even the QR code is a blur. Everytime I try to read it, I get a headache. The hi-tech part of the product is not supposed to be the printing. If jlab can't print a simple piece of paper, what hope can we have for the earbuds. I have to lay down now. I tried again to read the blurry directions, and it scrambled my brain.

Great fit and sound

Wow I'm impressed! I work for Ford motor company in stamping and it gets pretty loud in there that most open ears you can't always hear that well. These are a game changer! I love the fit and the sound. I have little monkey ears no earlobes. These fit great! I'll buy my kids each a set. Thanks . Blessed and very grateful.
