Nice little amp

This amp reminds me a lot of a certain cube-shaped amp that most guitarists have encountered over the years - as the JOYO amp is less than half the price of the battery-powered version of that amp, it's a nice alternative (bearing in mind that the "other" amp is two speakers and over twice the power). This is nice and small (it's sitting next to an OG Spark in my pic, to give you an idea) but the internal battery makes it HEAVY. The effects are okay, about what you'd expect out of built-in effects. I like the controls, they're well laid out and intuitive, and sometimes I like to be able to twiddle without opening an app on my phone. The sound is surprisingly decent for the size, you're not going to play any gigs with it but it's a decent amp to play in your bedroom or on your patio. It's MILES better than the terrible "practice amps" we had growing up 30 years ago. Overall I'd say the battery and the onboard effects make this a really solid option for a bedroom amp.

Great sounding amplifier

The amplifier sounds great. I like how easy it is to transport. The amplifier charges up and is portable. The battery life is very good and lasts a while. I would recommend this portable amplifier for the sound quality and the battery life

Near perfection

My only small complaint is that the metal tone is a little lack luster, it could've been my settings though. But even with that, it's still well worth getting. The portability, the functionality, the size, the freedom, it really just about does it all. You can play COMPLETELY WIRELESSLY. I mean what's not to love about that?? There are so many settings and it's super easy to operate. It's so cool. I don't care what you play, I think it's a must have for every guitarist. I'm nitpicking, but I still give it a solid 9.5 outta 10.

A great little compact amp

This practice amp is compact, well designed and lightweight making it easy to transport. It has a minimalist feel and has a rack system look. It is easy to operate, puts out a clean sound and has several control knobs (gain and tone), an Effects knob (several different settings from chorus to tremolo) and a Space knob (delay and reverb). I like the built in drum machine (RYTHM setting), it offers 36 different beats from Rock and Pop to Jazz and produces a crisp hi hat sound a deep thumping bass. In addition it has a front line-in input to play music through a mobile device, although I wish it had a better volume control for this option. On the back there are both android and IOS output ports for recording tracks on your mobile device. Another feature is a looping peddle that come included as well as a 1/4 guitar cable, mini cable and mini cable adapter. Usually you have to purchase cables separate but as a bonus this one comes with them included. The rechargeable battery life seems decent and it automatically turns its self off after a few minutes of non use to conserve the charge. Overall this amp produces a brilliant sound, ample loudness and lots of bells and whistles for a compact amp.

Nice

Nice little practice amp. The tone is okay on all the settings but it sounds best the cleaner you go. The distortion settings are a bit muddy but for the size of this thing it is worth it just because of the mobility. The amp is small, light, and has the features needed to do what I need it too. I use it for nice days but still needing to practice. Because of it being so small I can quickly grab it and head out to the deck to play. The looper and drum machine are added bonuses that are useful but won’t really get used a ton by me. I would definitely recommend this as an alternative for dragging your tube amp around for practice.
