I usually have no problems and like joyo items. However this amp is junk. I'm a professional musician playing on average 130 shows a year. I wanted this amp just for quick practice. The amp doesn't sound super bad, but it's honestly not very good either. I can deal with that cause it is what it is but the main feature I wanted it for doesn't work. Which is the Bluetooth. My devices will hook up but can not get the sound to come out. I have tried 6 devices just to make sure. 2 cell phone and 4 tablets. 1 was an iPhone the rest are android. Not a single one comes thru the amp. So if you are buying to use backing tracks to practice I highly recommend passing. I'm extremely disappointed. At least I caught it on sale but it's still junk and am extremely disappointed with my purchase. Like I said I can deal with not so good quality guitar sound but the Bluetooth feature is a complete let down.

This thing is pretty cool. I put a video review but I didn't demonstrate the tone knob or the bluetooth connectivity. The tone knob is very responsive and gives control over the warm and bright tones.
The bluetooth sucks. It DOES allow you to play audio while playing guitar but it's not loud enough to play with a song. It's good for a metronome, but hey, that's probly all it was designed for. Solid product for money, it has a home in my travel bag now.

My wife hates this thing. Sounds pretty good. It fits a strat style input best for me(input on the front) If the input is on the side of the instrument, the thing likes to fall loose kinda easily. Not the products fault though. I love this thing and for the price, when this one breaks I'm buying another.

El sonido es de muy baja calidad, se quiebra cuando se llega a la mitad de volumen. Sin embargo, con poco volumen cumple su función si practicas dentro de un cuarto de 2m x 2m.

Was working good for 10mins, now the guitar effects don’t turn on :(

Very convenient practice amp. Battery last a long time. The effects really work and sound good. I bluetooth from my smart phone some drum tracks while playing. I love this little amp.

My hopes were a little low for this product, but I’ve just started Guitar and my amp wasn’t working so I chose a small cheap one and surprisingly it works incredibly well

BASS REVIEW: This item did not claim to support Bass. I've purchased guitar products in the past with great success... not the case here. It works just fine but it's so very very quiet.

This thing has definitely surpassed my expectations, the gain is eh but it’s pretty hard to make gain sound good from a tiny box, but the cleans I can get off of this thing are definitely shocking me right now, the gain is useable especially for the fact that you can take this thing anywhere, but the cleans really do shine

Perfect when watching my kiddos. I still can play my guitar anytime anywhere. And it comes with 3 different tone settings and it’s super loud! Controls are pretty self explanatory. Love the size and how easy to use. Great product at a very low price. Battery life is about 3 hours and weighs like a half a pound.

Didn't fit my ibanez s470dxqm

Definitely not recommended for bass; it doesn't sound good unless it's very, very low.

I’m happy with the LEKATO mini amp. It readily plugs into my cigar box guitar - making it electric. It’s loud enough that you, and others nearby, will appreciate the sound. It also has different effects (ie., Reverb, Overdrive, Clean) which adds to its functionality. It’s rechargeable and will function for days/weeks on a single charge. The controls are simple and intuitive- a tone dial and a volume dial plus a power button and an effects button. One last thing - and it’s a big one…it connects to your cellphone via Bluetooth, making it a speaker that you can use as you play along or simply to listen.

I purchased this pocket size electric guitar amplifier to replace a similar amp which connected to headphones via a very tangled cord. The Lekato Mini Electric Guitar Amp has a small speaker; it does not accept headphones.
It is convenient at an affordable price. While its’ volume will not blow away the neighbors in my apartment complex, the clarity of sound it produces is admirable.
I am not a medical professional; however, as an implanted cardio defibrillator (ICD) patient I always follow medical advice to avoid exposure to strong magnetic fields such as those in full size guitar amps and speaker cabinets. I have used the Lekato mini amp without experiencing an ICD generated electrical pulse resetting my heart rhythm. This makes me a happy camper.

I go to visit my dad 1600 miles away, I take a travel guitar and had been using a Joyo BanTamp and a 20w Joyo 8” speaker, so I bought this amp as a test and I was impressed, clean, dirty, and chunch tones, onboard eq works with in conjunction with the guitar tone for best performance, loud enough for a room and I dig the feedback, squeals are easy if you have decent pickups. battery life is over 30 minutes of playing at 1/4 volume which is about all you need. Bluetooth actually works, sounds ok so it’s my new hotel travel radio too. Try it, you might be surprised, I will get a 12” extension cable and clip it to a strap, it moves around just plugged in.

Doesn’t work on a strat. Didn’t read every review or I would’ve seen it. Doesn’t plug all the way in. Bummer for me. It might work ok so I gave 3 stars.

Me gustó, recargable, buen sonido, 0 cables, bluetooth, reverb. Tuve que hacerle una pequeña modificación ;)

Es pequeño, portable y eso es bueno
La distorsión tiene poder, pero el limpio se distorsiona también es lo único que no me gusta.

My son plays the electric guitar and bass and during Prime Days he put this little amp in my cart, so I bought it. I have to say it’s AMAZING! I couldn’t tell the difference in the amps when he was playing in his room with the door closed! Now, face to face, it sounds not as awesome, but who cares! Now he can take his electric guitar with him on vacation, no giant amp or cords required! Yay! Game changer!

Wouldn't recommend if your guitar has the jack on the bottom because of it having no way to stabilize itself while attached to your guitar.

I am amazed with this wee little powerhouse of an amp! I needed something that would make it so that I can walk around in my classroom and sing along to songs as I play right up close to my darling little angel students who would rather sleep than work on their assignments. This is perfect!! Puts out clearly and surprisingly loudly!!

I think I figured out what this extra part is for I could be wrong. But this is a great product. People should buy this. They don’t need a big amp unless they’re really good at guitar playing.

This little portable amp, it’s a must have for anyone practicing guitar at home. It has awesome sound (not super loud) but nice and crisp. Quickly made this review but I’m gonna test the Bluetooth function, because I think that you can stream music on the speaker but you cannot use the Bluetooth as a headphone. . .

The speaker was blown

Great complement to an ultra-light nylon string traveler guitar. Sound is more than ok (considering size and price) and good enough to enjoy. Reverb is not tunable but just right. Lead and distortion are surprisingly effective and enjoyable to use with nylon strings. Rechargeable with USB, Bluetooth.
Fit in the guitar bag.
Retirement Ain’t Easy
It works and sounds pretty decent. good enough to practice with. my only annoyance was the fact that if you are plugging into a jack that is off the side of the guitar (see pics), the amp will spin around in the jack and end up pointing backwards instead front where to you want it to. if you use on a strat like guitar it works great (see pic). just for giggles I plugged it into a bass and... it was ok, but really low notes would cause a a buzz. I could practice bass with it if needed. So for the price its a fun little amp, especially if you plug into an acoustic guitar at the lake or something like that. just keep it from spinning backwards.

I was skeptical about this purchase but the only way to know is to know. Right out the box the amp sounded like about what I expected... small and thin. After messing around the knobs on my guitar and the amp itself, I found 3 usable sounds... that's all I need. Find your sounds and ROCK ON!!!

This is a nice little amp. It has enough power for practicing in a room. I'm using it at 90% volume because at top it has some distortion.
Despite the description, it has 3 effects, not 4: clean, overdrive and distortion. It also has bluetooth so you can connect your phone and play along songs.
It has 2 knobs, one for volume and another one for tone.
Battery time depends on volume level, it is giving me 2-3 hours of play.
The only problem I found is the connection, before buying it first check where your guitar.
I used it with a Telecaster, the connection is below so no problem. I also used it with a Yamaha Silent Guitar, which has the connection on the back, in this case the amp touches my body, if I move too much it gets disconnected. It would be better having a short cable and attaching to the belt clip.

Would it be ironic to say that I have to lower the volume on this amp because it's too loud?...Hahaha!, It came already charged up and it was very easy to pair it to my phones bluetooth. Just hold in the bottom button in the center and wait for it to turn flashing blue then go to settings and bluetooth connection on your phone. If you don't see JA-05G in the bluetooth settings than tap on scan (if using an android) if not once then try again and possibly scroll down to the bottom then when you see JA-05G. press on it and it will connect and your amp will light up. Sounds great. The effects really work. So much that I was getting feedback on the distortion setting. Comes with a usb charger and instructions. Instructions seem to be in proper english so it isn't hard to follow. It's a nice convenience and a win win for me.
