For the Shredder on a Budget

This little Reverb pedal is friggin' cool. Very versatile, high quality sound, nice size, and really cool lights. If you don't want to drop $200 on a reverb, then this thing should be on your board.

I play a lot of drop D, stoner rock & shoegaze with feedback and improvisation and I can't tell you how much I love this pedal.

It's not perfect, it does add some noise to the chain when engaged usually but the bypass is great and while you may be able to find dedicated reverb pedals that are better with a particular variation (Spring, Hall, etc.) I would put this up against almost any high-dollar multi-reverb pedal on the market.

GET THIS PEDAL AND HAVE SOME FUN OUT THERE!!!

Great quality built like a army tank!

Ok fellas. The package: totally crushed, the manual: pretty perforated by the knobs. The pedal? Not a dent, not a scratch, plugged in and it’s working beautifully, with the shimmer effect that I wanted. I still can't believe it.

It’s Endless!

This pedal has way too much variety to offer with the reverb options. Mix and match with all the adjustments is some what of an overload! Don’t let scare you away. And yes, that is a good thing! It definitely is play time! This is what would be considered at an inexpensive reverb pedal. So many reverb options with this pedal. I can’t say enough! Joyo did excellent with this one. The pedal lighting is a very nice addition!

Fun pedal for experimenting with reverb. Looks nice on my board with the blue illumination on the bottom & top. Recommended

Quality and value in a Reverb pedal

There are many guitar effects pedals on the market but none with versatility and value of this pedal. The overall construction is of the highest quality from the housing with the Joyo LED lighting (always on, sync, or off), to the internal circuits.

9 different reverb effects plus the adjustments like tone, depth, mix, and decay, give a player a multitude of options for finding their sound.

You just can't go wrong with this pedal.

Great reverb for the money!

Joyo pedals have really come a long way over the past few years. So when I saw the R series here recently, I figured I’d give them a try. Before I start, I’ll admit that I am a “pedal snob” if you will. I’ve been burned more times than I can imagine by cheaper pedals, only to end up buying something more expensive in the end. Having spent quite a bit on gear here recently I decided to try this joyo reverb out. First thing I noticed are the great blue LED accent lights. I choose to keep them on all the time, but there’s a switch at the bottom to only have them on when the pedal is. The pedal has a nice smooth switch for on off, no clunking. The plate/church (hall), and spring mode are all classic reverb types and are all good, but it’s the other modes that make this pedal shine. Ekoverb (a delay w/reverb), shimmer, forest, reverse... are all wonderful modes, and the modulation on them are great. Joyo definitely got this one right. I’m very happy with my purchase!

Nine thick, lush, studio quality effects in one stompbox!

Awesome reverb with added special effects. You get 9 reverb effects in one little box, optional modulation, and trails. I especially like the standard (plate, church, and spring) sounds - all studio quality, and extremely adjustable with the control knobs. The shimmer is grea! I've tried some that were irritating and fake sounding, but this one is very musical and usable. Comet has a touch of flange effect added to the reverb, which could be cool for ambient chord work and added movement. A reverse reverb is included, which can go from subtle to downright trippy with some knob tweaking. For me, forest is a standout special effect, giving the reverb multiple reflection points, and a big, wet sound - very cool. Pulse is also available, and adds a hint of tremolo to the reverb trail. I'm looking forward to experimenting with that for some deep, trance tones.

The mix knob can take you from a subtle hint to full wet signal, decay is just that, and can trailer out quickly, or keep the reverb trail seemingly forever. The trails toggle in the off position turns the reverb off when you disengage the switch, and in the on position leaved the decay where you have it set, even when you disengage - GREAT!

What a fantastic reverb pedal!!! Warm, and natural sounding. Super versatile too!! Tons of options that all sound top notch!! Bravo!! I love it!!
