Wrong volumes

Two #18 and no #19. Missing the boss of lunch. My daughter lo e me reading this series to her. Got for my young neice. Didnt open until right befor gift giving and seen the mistake. Dont have time to make it right. Luckily i still had my daughters set, although different cover colors, will have to work.

Nothing a little tape can't fix!

Not even mad about the damage tbh. The material is thin and flimsy anyway it was bound to happen. Maybe better material would have prevented the box cover from tearing. Perhaps some better packaging for shipping too. Books are in mint condition. For the price though, meh, not much to complain about.

Daughter loves Junie B.

My daughter loved the first book she received. I went ahead and ordered the complete first grade set but received 11 books, two of which are book number 19, which means she’s missing one book.

Crushed box

The collection box was in bad condition. It looked like it had been crushed. This is not what I’d expect for the price I paid.

Book #21 missing

My daughter loves the books and paper dolls. Unfortunately, book #21 was missing from the pack. It came with two #22 books instead.

Missing a book

My set is missing book number 26, Aloha, Ha Ha. I was very disappointed. I have 2 of number 27.

First grade

My granddaughter loves these books. Kindergarten books are 1-17. This First grade set is books 18-28. The stories are about first grade children.

Be careful (before opening)

Take a look at the books before opening the sealed packaging. As happened with another review here, we received two of the same book (#27) and missing another (#26). Daughter is so excited for the set that I can’t return/replace as she’s already reading them. Now I have to buy the missing book separately. Frustrating

My daughter grew up loving these.

I cannot think of a more fun, silly book series. My daughter and I started reading these together when she was about 3 or 4 years old. She's 21 now, and I have to tell this is STILL our favorite books to read together. We are now reading them to my granddaughter, her niece. My granddaughter LOVES the voices that her Aunt does. We all laugh and giggle. It's wonderful to read a silly, fun book at the end of the day that the whole family can participate in listening to. We have now started writing together a "continuation" of the life and times of Junie B. I have bought 3 complete series set of these and the original doll. One for me, one for my daughter and now one for my granddaughter. On a side note: When ever I get the chance to recommend books to people, Junie B. Jones is one the first ones that recommend.

We are truly sad and heart broken that Barbra Parks passed away and that there is no one out there to continue her stories.

Terrible book for children

What an awful book for little girls. Terrible language, name calling and rudeness. I uploads 3 excerpts from the first chapter of the first book. The grammar is appalling. I understand it’s supposed to be written by a 5 year old but by reading it aloud to my daughter it teaches her to speak improperly.

Set is missing a book and has a double of another

We received two of the same book in this set, and we are missing one of the books that was supposed to be in it.

My kids love them.

My first-grade son loves these books, as did his brother when he was in the first grade. It is because of these (and the Magic Treehouse series) that my son now claims to "love" chapter books. This is a real win. You can't go wrong with this set of books, good for young boys or girls equally. However, this set does come with a set of paper dolls, which admittedly is traditionally more girl-oriented.
