We purchased 3 radios that worked exceptionally well for 20 days. Now the service that was supposed to be lifetime has been disconnected on them. I bought these as a fun way to stay connected to my 6 year old and give him instant emergency communication with the wife and I should he ever need it. They were barely used yet our service was always disconnected. Now we can’t get the company to answer us to fix it.

EXACTLY WHAT I HOPED FOR 👏
Ok let me clear up a few thangs!!!
There was a lot of answers I couldn’t find online or with AI but I ordered 6x of these M12 walkies, in hopes they were everything I needed. THEY ARE!
Can you customize user/radio/group names: YES
Can you bind more walkies: YES
There is a website that is NOT advertised
Once you email them
Or WhatsApp:
with your IMEI numbers and your requested changes or bind requests to add more radios, they will provide you with a username and password so you can access the customizations yourself.!!
These guys make the changes in 6 hours on a Sunday!
That was my main concern!
Now each walkie is labeled with its user and I can do a solo call to a single/multiple users without the other radios being bothered with unintended chatter.
They highlight the users whose walkies are on.
You can bind any other POC Kayotom radios as well.
These things are rugged and heavy. The belt clips are heavy duty.
It takes a second once you select a specific user or few and you have to tap the ptt button to activate your selection.
Once you get the buttons, the menu navigation is efficient and awesome… they are loud and clear just talk into the mic and wait 1/2 a second before you speak. I will be carrying one daily and will be trying Minnesota to New Jersey tomorrow… these are perfect for what I needed and I am excited to order the USBC headset as it seems to be an option in the menu. It will also show you if your in a Group or Individual call and it will automatically put you back in the group after about 30sec with no transmission, or you can click back to go back to the group, you will miss group calls if you are in an solo call
You can change the time zone as well!
Light, UV, Laser on top
SOS Light in front with Red, Green, and Blue bright and functional.
I think these were the perfect solution!
Hope this helps 🤙

Great for Keeping in Touch Around the Property
I picked these up so my wife and I could communicate when I am out on the property, and they have worked really well for that. We both have cell phones, but honestly, you just cannot compare a good walkie talkie to pulling out a phone every time you need to say something quick.
Setup was easy and I did not run into any issues getting them going. The range has been great for our use, and the battery life has been excellent. I also like that they come with attachments and different ways to carry them, which makes them more useful when I am outside moving around or working on something.
The free-for-life part is a big plus too. For what we needed, these have been reliable, easy to use, and convenient to keep on hand. Overall, I would recommend them for the price, especially if you need quick communication around a property or work area. Hard to beat free lifetime service.

Works great for driving trucks to communicating with dispatch
I use this while driving trucks the range is amazing. My dispatcher has one in Jersey and then we have two other radios that we use either in New York City or upstate New York and the transmission comes in crystal clear

Solid radios, great build quality wow
Range is legit, been talking clear from one job to another across town with no drop outs. The fact that the SIM is already in there and there's no monthly bill is the big sell for me, I'm not about to pay some subscription every month just to talk to my guys.
Audio is clean. Sounds like a phone call honestly, way better than the cheap FRS stuff I was using before. Battery holds up through a full shift and then some, haven't had to top off mid-day once.
Build feels solid in the hand, metal clips are sturdy, and they came already paired so I didn't have to mess with setup. Just charged em up and started talking.
The belt clip screws are a little short, took me a minute to get em back on right. Small thing though.
For the price these beat the hell out of running everyone on their cell phones trying to coordinate. Buying more for the rest of the crew.

Works amazing and customer support is outstanding
Purchased 4 walkie talkies. What’s most impressive after using it for the first time is the customer service. I usually judge a product not only by how well it works but also by the support I receive and so far the support has been outstanding. 10 out of 10 for me. Recommend it to anyone first because the product works well as intended and secondly customer service is outstanding.

Good communication for camping
I’ve been looking for something like these for a long time to use when we go camping. We always have trouble communicating and phones don’t always work. They seem to work really well and they also have a flashlight on them and also you can turn on a flashing light for a beacon they seem to hold a good charge and they’re very clear and accurate. All you have to do is turn them on and they’re already connected. they charge really fast and they are built well.
TOTALLY DECEPTIVE marketing!!! It says “Lifetime Free” but it’s NOT lifetime free! They say “no monthly fees” but charge you a $50 Annual Fee per radio. Which is essentially $4.17/mo to keep using your radio. Not a bad price, but DEFINITELY NOT FREE for life! They can raise their annual fee anytime they want and you either pay it or your radios get bricked.
It might be a good product if they were honest but I’ll avoid them like the plague!

Favorite Radio Set! Professional-Grade Comms, Amazing Battery Life.
Unlimited Range Radio! Sturdy, Amazing Battery, Nextel-Like PTT Feature.
As an experienced radio user (owning everything from FRS to commercial networks), I can confidently say these Keyotom radios are outstanding.
The highlight is the unlimited range, utilizing a classic Push-to-Talk (PTT) function reminiscent of old Nextel phones. This feature is a game-changer for group communication!
Professional Use: My drone team will use these on missions when we need reliable comms with a forward observer. It's vastly superior to trying to text or manage group phone calls.
Durability: The build is sturdy—this radio is built to last.
Battery: Battery life is amazing; mine lasted two days on standby. Also works while charging so you could leave it on and plugged in indefinitely.
You simply turn it on, hook it to your belt, and you are part of the conversation, regardless of distance. Great bang for your buck and highly recommended.

They work well - a few minor quality of life issues
I was dubious that these walkies would work as advertised without needing an account, credit card, etc. for the use of a cell network but after using them for over 6 weeks so far so good. For fun I took one to 5 states away and chatted back home with no issues. There's a slight delay (we were also just on a regular cell call) but usable for short one-way conversation. For anyone who was involved with construction from about 2002-2010 when Nextel PTT ruled, these are reminiscent - you push, talk, listen, repeat. Of course they are dependent on the cell network (not sure which provider) to operate - they are no good in the deep woods even if you are 50' apart. The build is robust and chonky, very solid but they might not hold up to getting dropped like the old cell phones in a case could.
My quality of life gripes (all minor):
- To charge the battery you plug in a USB-C cord. If the battery is connected to the walkie, it powers on. You can remove the battery (it has it's own connector slot too) but if the belt clip is on, you need to unscrew it first.
- No wired or wireless way to use headset, ear piece, etc. A wired earpiece/mic plug is just standard for any walkie-talkie.
- Including limited range traditional radio frequency would be ideal - for making them useful when outside of cell coverage (or natural disaster) but close enough for normal walkie-talkie use.
Overall very cool and work well. I hope the sim card really does work forever but even just a few years would be impressive.

These deliver and worth it for staying in touch, especially if an emergency happens.
The Kayotom Global POC Walkie Talkie has completely transformed the way I communicate during work and outdoor activities. What sets this device apart is its nationwide unlimited range communication capability, thanks to the built-in cellular POC technology. With the SIM card pre-inserted, all I had to do was unbox, power on, and start enjoying crystal clear, instant communication no matter if I was in California, New York, or anywhere in between. The 3000mAh battery life is impressive, offering over 72 hours of continuous use and up to 15 days on standby, which is perfect for long shifts or extended trips. Charging is convenient and fast with USB-C, reaching 50% charge in just 40 minutes. I’ve found it ideal for construction sites, logistics coordination, family road trips, and outdoor adventures. Another great feature is the lifetime free SIM service—there are no monthly fees, subscriptions, or hidden costs, making this walkie talkie an economical choice for reliable communication anywhere cellular coverage exists. It truly combines the efficiency of instant two-way radio communication with the advantage of an unlimited range that phones and texts can’t always provide. Overall, the Kayotom Global POC Walkie Talkie is a versatile, durable, and user-friendly device that lives up to its promise. Whether you need it for professional use or personal adventures, it’s a fantastic investment for seamless and cost-free communication. Highly recommended!

Work Well for What They Are
These are very neat 4G "radios" and work well for their main purpose. They allow for use like a walkie-talkie but with nationwide range through 4G networks. In my limited testing, the connection is great with sound coming through perfectly clear (though with a delay of a second or two). The battery seems to last quite a long time in stand-by mode, but I'm not certain about active talk time.
However, there are a couple of design choices/flaws that kept them from being a 5* item. Firstly, these things are HEAVY. The front of the case is metal, but it must be very thick for such small radios to weigh as much as they do. That weight combined with how chunky of a profile these have makes them a little awkward to clip to a belt. Hopefully, that speaks to good durability, but the electronics are more often the point of failure than the casing itself with things like this. Also, the lack of any kind of headset port or Bluetooth connectivity is a bit disappointing. Most applications of walkie-talkie are much more convenient with a headset or earpiece. The flashlights are not really bright enough to be very useful, and I'm not entirely sure what the use case would be for the IR beam since these are missing a number of features that would be necessary for any application where night vision to see the IR would be in play...but they also don't really detract from the functionality.

Heavy duty and truly fee free
These new cell phone based walkies are a new incarnation of the old Nextel style 'push to talk' feature. Since they are based on the 4G cell phone system, they are much more universal than those though. All of the different ones out there are based and depend on a SIM card and the cell phone system, so you can't really call them an 'emergency' communications system. In a widespread disaster the cell phone system is the first thing to break and these will not work then. Also not useable in remote areas that don't have cell towers. However, in a non 'emergency' scenario these are pretty neat. This set allows you to talk unit to unit, or to a pre-established group locally, in another state, or even in another COUNTRY. For about a $100 a unit with unlimited talk time and NO additional fees, these are a bargain. Of course, lifetime free usage is only as good as the company's lifetime, but even if they go away, you can probably get a SIM from a different company. They come 'paired' to each other without any additional work. You can add other units and make talk groups, but you have to call the company and have them set it up. You cannot do it yourself. It is probably a good idea to buy all the units you need at the same time so they come ready to use. The radios themselves are a bit bulky and stubby, but built like a tank. I like that the cases are metal and not flimsy plastic. They are a bit heavy and you probably won't want to wear them on lanyard around your neck and opt for a clip on carrier instead. Operation is very simple and basically amounts to turning them on and waiting for them to register on the network. These radios are great for dedicated communication to select groups or individuals that would be inconvenient or not possible with a cell phone. It also wouldn't be bad for international travel or for groups that have multi-country locations.

Easy to use; great range; could use a headphone jack
These are essentially 2-way phones on a 4G network in a walkie talkie package. They look and operate like walkie talkies, but they connect through the 4G network, so they actually operate world-wide at any distance, so long as you can access a network. Additionally, although these come with SIM cards, no activation is required, nor is there any monthly service plan, so you buy this once and that’s it.
The walkie talkies are rugged and durable. They are also charged via USB-C cables. There are ways to create groups and have multiple sets that can be combined to create a larger network, but I only have this set of 2, so most of those functions aren’t usable by me since it’s always going to be one walkie talkie to the other.
There is a combo light at the top that includes a flashlight, UV light, and laser pointer. The flashlight is pretty weak, so not the most useful. On the front, there is an SOS flashing light that includes red, blue, and green lights.
On one side, you have the push-to-talk button at the top, a button that controls the flashlight/UV/laser combo, which also functions as the settings button, and at the bottom you have the power button, which also functions as a back button when navigating the settings menu. On the other side, you have the up/down menu navigation button, which also doubles as the volume up/down switch, and you have the USB charging port and the SIM card slot.
The listing includes photos that better illustrate the button uses versus the manual, which is kind of confusing.
Because these walkie talkies connect to the 4G network, there is a delay between talking into one walkie talkie and hearing it in the other, so communication is a little less smooth than what you’d have in regular walkie talkies. However, the vastly greater range makes up for that. I did notice that there were some dead spots in my house where I couldn’t access the network, so I don’t know if indoor use is a bit more spotty than outdoors.
There is no headphone jack, which makes usage a little less private and a little noisier than what would be ideal.
Overall, a great product. I had always wished walkie talkies could be used at much greater ranges. With regular walkie talkies, I can’t even get a decent connection if I’m in my house and my kid has the other at their school, which is only a little over a mile away. With this, my kid could take one on a field trip or to an away meet, and they could still get a hold of me.

A great find
These walkies turned out to be a great find! At first look, they appear to be very sturdy and durable. They have some weight to them. They don’t feel fragile at all.
Turning them on, they do take a minute or two to connect and be available for use. So far we’ve tested them locally and as far as 800 miles and the clarity is amazing! It sounds even better than a cell phone. These are truly a great find. They are perfect for the desert when we go out on rides and keep in touch with other riders or people back at base camp.
They are charged with just a regular USB-C cable, which is nice. They seem to hold the charge really well so far.
They are a little pricey, but considering the quality and clarity I’d say it’s pretty it’s worth it. We definitely will be grabbing some more for our trips.

This is an Infinite Star item !
I usually (try to) write long technical reviews containing stuff I think people will find interesting, or about stuff that might not be covered in the original advertisement.
But I'm going to do this review different.
First, I'm probably one of the few (if not the last person) on the planet who does NOT have a smart phone.
When I read the description in the advertisement, I was of course skeptical. Not only is the description in the advertisement completely accurate, I see no need to add to it. So, I'll just relate my experience with these items.
The ad reads: "Just unbox, power on, and enjoy crystal clear instant communication"
I literally unboxed, turned 'em on, handed one to my wife, and got on my ebike after verifying that they did communicate with each other. I have tried "long range" walkie talkies in the past (still have 'em, in a box, on a shelf, ignored) and they only maybe go a couple of blocks. I went a couple of miles, stopped and keyed the mic....the communication was instant and crystal clear.
Next, my wife drove over 20 miles to our daughter's house (trip was scheduled anyway) and when she got there, I was in our basement when I heard her ask if I could copy. She was actually in our daughter's basement as well.
Communication was again perfect. She also contacted me on the way home while moving in a "bad" area, and the communication was perfect.
I researched these devices before I ordered them and frankly was doubtful that they would actually perform as advertised. Obviously, since they use cell towers to communicate, and if you are in range of one, you WILL be able to talk to the other device. I saw a video of a person talking from the Philippines to China.
Astonishing performance from these relatively tiny devices.
One of the best items I have ever ordered!
Highly recommended.

Easy to use
When I saw the size of these I was worried that they would be toy quality. Once I opened the box, their heavy duty build was evident. The case is a good strong metal casting, and the switches and covers are well made.
Turing them on, they affiliate with the network and start working. There are features to create groups, but with the pair it’s not needed. There’s no registration on logon needed, so as far as I can tell the free SIM really is.
Audio is clear, but does have a slight delay which is to be expected with PoC radios. The volume at 5 is LOUD and it goes higher, so hearing them should never be an issue.
The lights are an added touch, but other than the flashlight I’m not sure how useful they may be. The SOS function would be good in an outdoors situation to find someone.
The screens are blue on black and kind of small, but it’s enough to see your settings and status with the various menus.
Overall, these are super easy to use right out of the box, and with the sim included they are a good price.

Nice no fee 4G LTE walkie talkies with unlimited worldwide range and clear sound quality
This is a very unique set of walkie talkies. They run on 4G LTE networks worldwide, making their range unlimited. These will work anywhere in the world that has cell phone coverage. Another thing that is unique is that there are no fees associated with using these walkies. They are great for instant communication anywhere. The sim card is included in each talkie. So, these represent great value for long or short distance communications. They connected pretty quickly after charging them and turning them on. There is a slight delay while they connect to the 4G network. I would say about one to two minutes or so. Once they are locked on to the network they will verbally tell you, and you are good to go. There is also a slight delay between transmissions because the audio needs to go through the network. So they are not instantly heard like an FRS radio. The delay is a few seconds. The sound quality is loud and clear. A up down volume control is on the right side of each radio. So, again, these are a great value in walkies that are dependable and work flawlessly. It is really great that wherever there is 4G service, these will work, no matter what the distance between them is. I think here it uses the AT&T network. The only problem is that you are totally dependent on the hosting of the supply company, and if they close up, go out of business or decide to charge you, there is nothing you can do. So, for now they work great, however anything could happen in the future.

Impressive? Roger that!
Beginning with the durable handsets which are solid and built with a high standard of quality, the next thing that totally sold me on these were their incredibly clear reception audio. This functionality combined with an array of high end survival tools (flashlight, emergency setting etc.) are equaled by impressive battery life and high end functionality across the spectrum. The range, as of my own experience is limitless and suffers little to no breakage or static. Full stop, the best set of global walkie talkies ive used so far.

Best Walkie Talkie
These are very well made and I’m sure will hold up excellent! They are I’d say almost indestructible. They look great and a nice size. So far the batteries have lasted well and we’ve gotten reception wherever we take them,
