Controller for Fire TV Stick, Wireless Turbo Gamepad with ALPS Joysticks No Drift for Cloud Gaming
This controller literally is connect and play. No big console needed it is light weight and easy to set up. It lights up in the middle areas. Comfortable to hold and looks great. It is durable, the buttons are easy to push, and the joy sticks move smoothly with no drift. Each charge lasts all day at least 10 hours with no problem. I like that you an use it with other devices as well. It is cheaper than most wireless remotes and comes with a lifetime warranty!

Quality controller
Received this controller and it took less than 5 minutes to hook up to Prime games. It's shaped like the PlayStation controller which my grandson already knows. It works great and is very well made. Quality controller for a nice price. Would highly recommend!!

Up and running right out of the box. Easy setup and accurate button and joystick play.
This controller is top notch. I was playing using phone app until this arrived. Easy to link up with my FireTv stick and charges fast. So far this is a great addition to my gaming and the price makes it a great purchase. I recommend it to anyone who wants a great price point for a quality controller. The buttons and joysticks are very accurate and your game play will be flawless. Buy it and try it and you will like it.

Feels good in hand and paddles are a great bonus
My son needed a controller for luna and we came across this product. The reviews said this controller was great so my won and I ordered it. We really do agree with all the good reviews, the feel of it in the hands, the 2 padles underneath are programmable and the battery last very long.

Bluetooth controller for game!
Purchased the controller for our Fire TV so the kids can play the built in games. Using the phone was so hard and these Bluetooth controllers have made gaming so easy!! They have been hooked on FIFA and with the world cup itโs been amazing to see. Both my 14 and 10 year old have had zero issues using the controllers and playing the games. canโt beat the price either! The weight of the controllers are great so not flimsy-

Quality controller with great functionality.
Wireless Bluetooth and usb work great. Has speaker and TouchPad that works great with my android phone. TouchPad doesn't work on windows.
Unable to get audio port to work on pc unless I use USB connection. Programmable buttons really work for 1 or 2 buttons and don't store timing between commands. But work great for convenient mapping of other controller buttons.
Sticky seem firm and responsive with good sensitivity. Time will tell for stick drift and dead zones but no problems after about 10 hours of use.

Fairly good controller with wide compatibility
I have too many controllers. It's true. What I was looking for specifically was something to use with the fire tv stick and some other devices. I don't have any that are PS5 shaped and so I thought I'd take a chance on this one.
For starters I was able to get this connected up with several devices and was tickled that it worked so quickly and easily with my MacBook Air. I found myself sitting there playing Balatro for about an hour and a half while watching a basketball game. I then took it outside to where I have a small TV set up on the deck and plugged in the fire tv stick. The process was painless and I was off and running.
Almost all controllers have their highs and lows. This one does as well. I would say comfort is a pretty high point, as is compatibility. I like the color of it and the grip texture feels really pretty good in the hands. The button presses are easy and although they are slightly loud, they spring back with no delay and there were no glitches with it. The D-Pad is among the higher 30% of controllers I have tried. I am not really a huge fan of the buttons on the back for controllers in general, but if you don't set them up they aren't going to accidentally trigger functions.
I also set this up on my Quest 2 headset to play some retro games. The battery seems to last quite a while. I have not had to charge it since I initially charged it after taking it out of the package.
I had originally planned to give this controller a 4 star review as it was good, but I found the analog sticks to be really stiff and hard to roll completely. What I found is that I had instinctively dressed it in the analog stick caps that came with it (clear) and those are slightly oversized. Putting them on is what had made the analog sticks stiff and added resistance. When I removed them I found the analog sticks to move far more freely. I have replaced them with the thinner type of caps that I use on most controllers. That changed the game so to speak and left me with a far better impression.
If you like a PS5 style controller and want to use it on several different platforms this is a solid choice.

Great controller for my Windows 11 PC
As I do not own a Fire TV, I cannot directly compare this controller to the OEM controller. However, I have been utilizing this controller on my Windows 11 PC with my gaming emulator software, and it has proven to be an excellent choice. The package included a single red controller, two clear silicone joystick covers, a USB-C to USB-A charging cable, and a compact instruction manual.
Pairing this controller with my PC was a straightforward and quick process. Its dimensions closely resemble those of my PS5 controller. I particularly appreciate the tactile feedback provided by the ALPS joysticks. The difference in smoothness between the ALPS stick and my Xbox stick is noticeable. Additionally, ALPS joysticks are less susceptible to stick drift. The texture grip is also satisfying.
A notable advantage of this controller is the inclusion of additional functions, such as a rapid-fire turbo button positioned on the lower center and two programmable back buttons on the bottom. Furthermore, it demonstrated compatibility with my PS4 Pro.
Overall, I am highly impressed with the productโs quality and functionality. I wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

Perfect
I bought this controller for cloud gaming on my Fire TV Stick, and it has been a pleasant surprise. Setup was quick and straightforward, and I was able to start gaming within minutes without dealing with complicated configuration steps.
The controller feels comfortable in the hands, even during longer gaming sessions. The joysticks are responsive, and the overall layout feels familiar, making it easy to jump into different types of games right away.
What I like most is the addition of the programmable back buttons. They add a little extra flexibility for certain games and make the controller feel more premium than I expected. The battery life has also been solid, allowing for multiple gaming sessions between charges.
The red color gives it a distinctive look, and the build quality feels sturdy enough for regular use. Overall, this is a great option for anyone looking for a wireless controller for cloud gaming, streaming devices, or casual gaming setups. It offers a comfortable design, responsive controls, and excellent value for the price.

A Shockingly Good Shield Against Stick Drift!
If you've spent any time cloud gaming on a Fire TV Stick, you know the dilemma: do you drop a premium chunk of change on the official Luna pad, or buy a cheap Bluetooth controller and just accept that the joysticks will start drifting into oblivion within three months?
I bought this cherry-red KentroGrip alternative hoping to find a middle ground, and after a month of heavy testing across Fortnite and Trackmania, it has officially earned a permanent spot on my coffee table.
Here is my honest breakdown of how it holds up in the wild:
What Blew Me Away:
The Drift Cure is Real: The marketing leans heavily into the "No Drift ALPS Joysticks," and I can confirm they feel distinctly premium. There is zero loose play or "dead space" when making micro-adjustments to aim. Coming from a worn-out controller that constantly pulled my camera to the left, this feels incredibly crisp.
A Battery That Actually Cares: The 1200mAh capacity is a monster. This KentroGrip plugs into a USB-C cable, charges fast, and lasts through multiple long weekend sessions without flashing a low-battery warning.
Back Paddles at a Budget Price: Getting two programmable back buttons on a sub-$60 controller is a massive win. I mapped mine to jump and reload so I never have to take my thumbs off the thumbsticks. The mapping process takes five seconds and happens right on the controllerโno annoying companion apps required.
What to Keep in Mind:
Bluetooth Limitations: It is important to know that this connects to your Fire TV Stick via standard Bluetooth. The official Luna controller connects directly to your home's Wi-Fi network to shave off a few milliseconds of cloud lag. While I didn't notice any jarring latency during casual gaming, hyper-competitive players might notice the standard Bluetooth threshold.
The Turbo Function: The Turbo mode works fine, but itโs a bit of a relic feature. Unless you are playing old-school arcade games or button-mashers, you probably won't use it much.
The Feel & Aesthetics:
The vibrant red shell looks fantastic, and it has a subtle matte texture that keeps it from slipping out of sweaty hands. Weight-wise, it feels solid and ergonomicโvery similar to a standard Xbox Series X controller in the hand, meaning no weird cramping during long sessions.
Final Thoughts:
If you are looking to expand your Fire TV gaming setup without burning a hole in your wallet, this is a spectacular alternative. It solves the battery problem, fights off stick drift, and adds pro-style back buttons for a fraction of the cost of a first-party controller.

Better that I expected with some cool features
Most of the other reviews are showing how well it works with Luna on streaming devices so I thought Iโd show compatibility with my Windows 11 PC and my Steam Deck.
Connects quickly and recognized immediately by Steam as PS4 controller. I had to enable rumble through my Steam menu but it worked fine (not dual sense but similar to their controllers). I was also able to confirm through Steam that it has built in gyro control and you can actually change the LED backlight on the controller (I was concerned before because Iโm not a fan of bright LEDs). These settings (once changed in Steam) also carried over to my Steam Deck which was a fantastic surprise! Connection and function were great there as well.
Performance wise, as a controller, this did not disappoint. The responsiveness matched my Xbox controller (WiFi connection) when this was only using Bluetooth! This is great for me since my previous Xbox controller frequently disconnects from my PC at the worst times. Buttons are more clicky then Iโm used to so hopefully they break in. Triggers arenโt though and are perfect for me.
Overall, this is an excellent value and a good replacement for most purposes. The only thing Iโm not a fan of is the color. This thing would be perfect if there was a black or grey option. I canโt stand red or other bright colors on my controller (but at least I can turn the LEDs completely off if I want to). Maybe Iโll paint it instead. I would recommend this either way, you wonโt be disappointed.

Great Controller For The Couch And Worked On Anything It Said It Supported
This KentroGrip Alternative Controller is actually a pretty decent controller, especially for the analog stick portion. I can definitely say I couldn't perceive any stick drift, at all, the whole time I've been using it. All of the other buttons on the controller were very responsive and felt very much familiar to another controller I've used in the past. If I did have one small complaint, the directional pad is a bit different feeling from what I'm used to, but it's a very small issue.
It hooked up great to play Luna on any Fire devices, my Steam Deck, and my PC with no issues over bluetooth. It has a very familiar design of a popular console and this controller feels just like it in your hand. I tested it for a few hours and had no issues with battery life either. I haven't yet seen the longest it can go, because I kept putting it back on the charge cable when I was done. Also included is a set of grip covers for the analog sticks to help with longer play times and a charging cable for USB-A to USB-C. We got this KentroGrip Alternative Controller when it was priced at $35.99 and feel like we're getting great value for what it provides. We'd recommend this controller if someone is looking to get some play time in for less.

Great Alternative!
I game pretty much most of the day, I'm always looking for ease of gameplay. This is sturdy on the joysticks I feel its impossible to have stick drift. Blue tooth connects easily and you can connect it to more than just firetv, I was able to connect it to my pc, and my iPad. Its a neat little controller and you quite literally wont need to spend loads of money to have something so premium feeling. It has a wonderful battery life, as I spend large amounts of time gaming. It has a ice weight and the button set up reminds me of ps5 controller and xbox controllers so you wont have a hard time adjusting to a new device. Try it out!

Solid performance and extra features with a few minor trade-offs
I was really impressed when I first pulled this KentroGrip controller out of the box because, on paper and visually, it seems to hit every single mark for a Luna alternative. The red finish looks sharp, and the actual build quality feels solid in my hands. The grips are comfortable for those longer gaming sessions I have with my boys, and the overall weight gives it a premium feel that doesn't come across as cheap or flimsy. Iโve been using it for cloud gaming on my Fire TV Stick, and the initial setup was straightforward, making it easy for me to jump right into my favorite titles without any hassle.
One of the standout features for me is the inclusion of the two programmable buttons on the back. Having those extra mapping options is a huge convenience, especially for certain games where I want to keep my thumbs on the joysticks while triggering other actions. The ALPS joysticks themselves are smooth and responsive, and I haven't noticed any of the drifting issues that usually plague some of the other budget-friendly gamepads I've tried in the past. The rechargeable 1200mAh battery has also been holding up well, giving me plenty of playtime before I need to worry about reaching for a charging cable.
My only real issue is the design of the D-pad. Since all the directions are connected on a single piece of plastic, Iโve found that it slightly impacts my performance in games that require very precise directional controls. Itโs not a major issue for casual play, but I definitely noticed some less-than-perfect inputs when things got a bit more technical. Overall, itโs a high-quality gamepad that offers a lot of value.

Radical Red PC Controller, Perfect Performance
I got this Ymir controller for playing retro games through RetroArch on my PC (Windows 11). It was super easy to pair via Bluetooth, and the connection has been seamless. All the buttons function flawlessly, with no missed presses or input lag. Additionally, the joysticks are smooth and accurate, and the ergonomic handles feel very comfortable to hold. I don't use the turbo or button mapping features, so I can't comment on those. Battery life is excellent, allowing for multiple play sessions to be had. Lastly, I didn't experience any disconnects. Highly recommended!

I was pleasantly surprised
This is basically a clone of the DualShock 5 controller for PS5 but with a few corners cut to keep the cost lower. But it actually feels pretty good in the hand and almost the same level of quality. It doesnโt have as much grip texture, particularly on the triggers and itโs a bit lighter but it functions. It takes type C to charge it and it comes with thumb caps.
I tested it on my Steam deck and PS5 and it connected fine. It also works on PS4 and PC and maybe more. The battery life is decent too though not quite as long as the DualShock 5.
But Iโd definitely recommend it for the price if you want a budget modern controller. And it looks cool too with the red color

Works just as well as my name brand controller, with no stick drift or stickness at all
This is a very inexpensive gaming controller that ended up working just as well as my more expensive, name brand one.
I tested it on my desktop, and it connected immediately to the bluetooth, with no lag, no drift, no sticky movement. It "feels" identical, with all of the controls and buttons in the correct places.
There are several things you can customize, and the paperwork includes links for getting the most out of it. I'll be using this one when I travel or go to someone's house to hang out. Oh, and a big plus, it uses a USB-C cable, which is included, for charging. It was WELL worth the price!!

3rd-gen Fire Cube tested
This controller looks not unlike that of PS5. It's about identical in my hands but sports a very fiery, passion-filled color palette to avoid being mistaken for one so thumbs up there. As the title suggests, it connected flawlessly with my fire cube device and why shouldn't it? It's just another wireless controller using bluetooth protocol for wireless connectivity. It should work just as well on my PC or any other smart devices with a built-in bluetooth receiver.
It has a turbo button as well as two programmable "paddle" buttons on the back. Programming is easy, just consult the included manual for a step-by-step instruction. The analog sticks feel a bit stiff personally but nothing too out of the ordinary. Latency-wise, it's fine. You're always going to feel some sort of "lag" when it comes to cloud gaming but that's not to the fault of the device but inherent to the tech itself so I did not deduct any points there.
Battery-wise, I think it lasted between 8-10 hours on average for me. Slightly less than the 12 hour claim in its marketing materials but again, I think it's acceptable for what it is at the end of the day. All in all, a solid, budget choice with a slight advantage over the OEM with respect to added features. 5/5 stars overall.
