Good High/Mid very little bass (on stock head unit 15-20rms)
Good highs and mids pretty much no bass but I bought them because I have a subwoofer so I don’t need bass from the door speakers. These are definitely louder than my stock 2018 Camry se door speakers with factory head unit no amp but my stock did have some bass theses pretty much don’t if you have a sub and want new speakers without a amp these are great for louder high/mids go for it if you got a amp get something bigger for 30 dollars great lil speakers I had to buy a adapter for the speakers and wire harness for about 20

Previously opened. Terminals bent
Did I buy a used returned speaker? Box definitely was previously opened. Torn tape. Box half closed and damaged. Speaker terminals all bent different directions.

Very loud and clear, not for bass
The sound is very clear and loud but if you want something for bass i wouldnt recommend these. They still do the job so im very satisfied

I love the Sound.
They are solid speakers. I have them mounted on a rear panel in my Mustang. The sound is impressive, and I got them on sale for $45. I used another grill that I had in my garage.

Box showed up torn and re-taped with scotch tape. I ordered NEW speakers not used ones. This is absolutely ridiculous

Kenwood sound
For the money, these sound good. Running off a pioneer deck in an overhead soundbar. They ship in manufactures packaging that showed up a little mangled, but all was well. I’m happy with the speakers.

Now let’s get down to Business. It was exactly 25 years ago when I replaced my OEM speakers in my brand new car with the Kenwood KFC 1668S (140 watts/ 92db. Since it has been decades, I thought that possibly Kenwood now JVC Kenwood would have stepped up to the plate being that audio has changed in so many ways.
When comparing the new with the old, the only thing that I can detect is the highs are a little clear but other than that, they’re the same speaker. Disappointed? I thought maybe the speaker would have evolved but hasn’t.
Keep in mind, when dealing with a speaker of this caliber and size magnet you will not experience a lot of bass. Unless, you connect a subwoofer, or adjust the equalizer in your head unit.
I would really like to know how these could be classified as 6 1/2 in speakers. The bass cone measures only 5 inches. I purchased a pair of 6 1/2 inch speakers from Pioneer, they did not fit so I don’t know why they classify these as 6 1/2, they’re not.
It appears that if I want better sound, I would end up having to drill additional holes in my door panel, which I really have no interest in doing.
I ordered the matching Kenwood KFC-69665S 400 Watt, 3 Way configuration, 6 x 9 speakers. I doubt there’s gonna be any significant difference compared to my former Kenwood KFC-6976 160 watt, 6 x 9 besides wattage.

Perfect replacement for my 2016 F fusion , they fit perfect with the stock bracket with slight modifications, if you are looking to improve your sound system can’t go wrong with Kenwood

Poor Quality
Very poorly built. Very flimsy. Now they are rattling in my door broken. Bought two sets. Only thing that is good with them is lots of screw holes to choose from.

Sounds great for the price!
Very easy to install in my 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500. I put just that one speaker in, and the sound quality is way better than stock. My silverado is the non bose system. So for the money, these sounds so good. I just pre drilled 4 holes, cut and spliced the wires, and bam its in! I will be definitely ordering another set for the rear.

Very good upgrade for a Honda Element.
The factory speakers were still fine, but they sounded lifeless so I went speaker hunting. After a bunch of research, I decided on these Kenwoods. I'm glad I did. Very easy to install and I also added some sound dampening rings. I chose the cheaper rings. A few dollars less and they work fine. Also, get the quick connects. Forget splicing wires. This is way easier. Anyway, after installed, I fired them up and they sounded very good. Much better than oem. I think ANY aftermarket is better than stock. So yes, these work fine and I highly recommend some sound dampening like the rings. Get them.

10/10 value to replace stock speakers
Comes with wiring kit so I just drilled a hole in my speaker mount in the door and bam pretty much wants to go together. The old speakers I pulled out practically had a fridge magnet on it and was so cheap. Just feeling the quality vs the stock speakers tells you enough when you have them in your hands. Pro tip don’t cut your connectors on your car. Just jam the wires from the wire kit in them and electrical tape them. (Orange is positive) (Red is positive)

Great Sound over Factory. Easy install
Purchased these as a replacement of the factory speakers in my daughter's '08 Honda Fit. They fit perfectly (with additional mounting kit) and sound much better than factory. They were very easy to install after removing door panel and old speaker.

Very High Value Speakers
My expectations were low for a $24 set of speakers and I'm amazed at the quality. I really just wanted the cheapest option to replace the blown speakers in my 1990 Chevy G-20 camper conversion and these look, feel, and sound like 60 or 70 dollar speakers. I haven't turned them up all the way yet because they are loud at 75% volume, and other than very deep bass, the sound quality is excellent. Installation was a breeze with the included connectorized pigtails (just used wire nuts to splice them in), and the drill template. I highly recommend these speakers if you're looking for value.

Good replacement speaker. Before trading my car in I replaced my nice focals with these $20 speakers. They don’t compare at all with the sound and quality but they fit and make noise. That’s all I needed. Good bargain for your buck!

They look good, but you don't get much sound from them
They look good, but you don't get much sound from them. Used them to replace the factory speakers on my 02 Mdx, however it seems they were far better. Would return but I had to do cosmetic changes to my car to install them
