Shocked TBH

Been a software dev for almost 20 years. I have tried all the fancy premium keyboards. This guy blew me away, it’s new so I don’t know about the durability, but the K10 HE is sublime.

~1/8th of the keys just stopped working after 7 months.

It was working well for just over 6 months until this morning about 1/8th of keys stopped working. It is not completely random like W,A,S,D all stopped working which are some of my most used keys from total war games. But also keys like U and [ on the other side of the key board stopped working. I have tried it with through usb wired, usb wireless and Bluetooth and they all have the same issue.

The backlight still works everywhere so I don't think it is a simple electrical issue.

Functional Art

Love, Love, Love this keyboard. Sound is creamy, and great feel. I am not a gamer, but a high productivity user for work. I usually use this keyboard at home, but my work keyboard quit working, and now I am getting one for work as well. I would say "Functional Art".

Amazing Keyboard

I couldn’t have picked a better keyboard in terms of feel, looks and responsiveness. The keys are buttery smooth and the sound is super satisfying. I love the wood accents, they’re subtle and that’s completely the look I was going for. The keychron launcher software is also very user friendly and the RGB light settings have incredibly variety. I’m extremely happy with this purchase so far.

Love and Hate

It feels and sounds awesome

I don’t like that it doesn’t have a knob for adjusting volume I would say it’s the only thing I don’t love. But the wood finish on the sides looks great on your desk plus the keyboard sound is music to the ears.

Dream Keyboard

This keyboard is so pretty and matches the Fractal computer case perfectly. It’s been hard to find a full keyboard with linear switches that’s also Bluetooth (and can also be wired). But the Keychron keyboard checked off every box! The web browser software is super easy to use and the keys themselves are sooo creamy.

The keycaps are also super easy to switch out. Any cherry type keycap should work since it’s a Gateron switch.

My Daily Work Keyboard

Great Keyboard! After having tried, and owning multiple keyboards, I gave in and got myself my very first Keychron Keyboard and can see why so many loves the product. Got the Keychron K10 HE as a daily in office for work and its been a pleasure typing on. The typing noise is just the right amount I'd say. Haven't had any complaints but multiple compliments. Typing is smooth, responsive, and feels amazing. It's aluminum body gives it a very premium feel and that wood trim says it all with such a clean look. The Keychron K10 HE checks the boxes of comfort, design, feel, sound, and connectivity.

The few cons I have with it would be its battery life, and no slot to hold the dongle. Running wireless, I notice you will have to charge it often when being used 8 hours a day, but that's no problem with the braided chord it comes with. And then there's no slot to store the USB dongle which I think would have been a great addition. Besides that, it was a great buy and would love to try some more of keychrons higher end products.

Nice sound, but key (keystrokes) don’t work (see video)

I just purchased the Keychron keyboard because I like the way it sounds. But a few days of using it, the keys stopped working. The keyboard is out of the box. No updates. So, it should just work. I am so disappointed. I am going to return it.

A True S‑Tier Keyboard: Keychron K10 HE Wood

I used to have the wireless Logitech G915 Clicky Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, but after seeing reviews of the Keychron K10 HE Wood, I decided to pull the trigger. I’m glad I did — this keyboard feels great and sounds even better. It’s surprisingly heavy, which gives it a premium, solid build quality.

The K10 HE Wood is extremely customizable. You can adjust the key sensitivity and how hard you need to press for actuation, though I haven’t played with that yet. The battery is around 4000 mAh, and after 16 days of use, I’m still at about 60%. At this rate, I can easily see it lasting over a month before needing a charge.

It offers three connectivity modes:

- 2.4 GHz for gaming (uses the most battery)

- Wired via USB‑A to USB‑C

- Bluetooth, which uses the least battery and is great for browsing or typing

The battery life absolutely destroys my old Logitech G915. I keep RGB off, which helps it last even longer. There’s also a Windows/Mac switch on the left side, which is a nice touch.

Honestly, I originally bought this keyboard just to match my PC case (Okinos Air Cross), but it completely blew me away. This is an S‑tier keyboard. Easy 5/5 stars from me.

Great keyboard!

This is a great keyboard. Types well and not overly clicky. You can adjust the lighting by hooking it up to your computer and using the keychron launcher. It works well with my macbook.

Last Keyboard I'll need

I got the largest key board offered by keychron (this keyboard) because I have plenty of desk space and don't want to get a different keyboard later on.

Excellent keyboard!

It is a bit loud, but seems to be built well and should last a lifetime or more.

App allows for customization so it can adapt with its user over time as needs change. The app is very good also and allows way more options than even I would need!

Bluetooth or wired or 2.4ghz

Excellent product, I don't know why you wouldn't invest in it, it uses magnets for the key sensors so it should just keep typing on and on forever.

Beautiful and customizable!

I'll admit what first drew me to this keyboard was that it reminds me of my PC case (a Fractal Design North, white with wood panels). But then I did more research and learned Keychron is a pretty reputable maker of keyboards. It came with a keycap tool, which I found super easy to use. I switched it to Window keys and also threw on some jasmine green accents to go with my room's esthetic. Looks cute and perfect. It feels really nice! Thunky and pillowy soft with a little click. What rules the most is that the app/programing site is so customizable. I've been looking forever for a keyboard that will make my PC go to sleep with the touch of one button and I was so stoked to see that option available. That alone is worth the price for me. I'm sure I'll eventually take advantage of the wireless option but I bought a cable that matches the green keycaps along with an L-shaped connector (which it turns out I don't need). I kind of wish it connected via the back of the keyboard, but that's the only downside of a pretty perfect, quality keyboard.

Great addition to home office setup

Great way to become more efficient at work if typing or doing code. It has reduced the stress physically and mentally (thocks great).

Love everything about this keyboard!

I love this keyboard. It’s sturdy but easy to move around. The wood accents are fantastic. The keys are customizable and I love the sound they make. Truly a high end keyboard that is still customizable. It fits perfectly with my desk! It has both Mac and windows compatibility which is great for me switching between my laptops. The wireless connection works perfectly with my DisplayPort.

The only thing I’m struggling liking is it seems to have an auto off feature built in when on wireless, so I have to adjust the connectivity switch when I go to use it again after it being off for a bit. I’m sure there’s a setting somewhere I can adjust but I haven’t found it yet.

Best keyboard I’ve ever had!

I love my Keychron keyboard! The cream white with the wood details is so cute and looks perfect on my desk. The keys feel great to type on too. They’re heavy and smooth at the same time, which makes typing really satisfying. The lighting settings are awesome. You can customize them on the Keychron website or right from the keyboard.

It has two height options and works either plugged in or on Bluetooth. I keep mine plugged in so I don’t have to think about charging, but the battery actually lasts a long time. The Bluetooth connectivity is also super simple and easy.

It’s a solid, hefty keyboard but still slim and the perfect size for most setups. Overall, super cute, super functional, and I’m honestly 100% a Keychron fan after this purchase.

Everything went wrong

The keyboard is amazing but it showed up with broken wood on the left side. Also the keyboard constantly unpairs itself with the dongle and it straight up doesn’t work sometimes without a cord.

Just be honest about shipping and give a longer cord*

Two stars for right now. Where is my keyboard? Why is my status still stuck on “package left shipping facility”?

So now that it’s actually here, the keyboard in person is very pretty. It’s professional and matches my current desk aesthetic. The biggest negative I gotta add though is the horrendously short cable length. I shouldn’t have to buy an extender for a product that is over $100 when other keyboards I own come with a solid 3 feet of length to reach my rig.

Dead Keys Out of Box.

The key for the letter in the alhabet between o and q does not work on this keyboard. Watch: latyus late rogrammatic eneloe. and so on. quite a ut-off for a new iece of roer kit for my rogramming activities.

I want to like the keyboard but a defective key out of the box is a horrible exerience.

decalex

My favorite keyboard from Keychron. Highly recommended

This Keychron K10 HE has quickly become one of my most-used keyboards (and I have way too many keyboards). It combines a premium build quality with modern features in a way that makes it a joy to use daily. I love how it looks and feels with these Glorious Ascend keycaps.

The aluminum and wood frame gives it a very solid, high-end feel, and comfortable for typing all day. I'm a staunch full-sized layout user, so that's usually a must for me either way (while working at least). The profile and height is satisfying to use.

The magnetic Hall Effect switches are smooth, responsive, and hot-swappable. They check all the boxes. I planned to swap out the switches to my liking, but actually love the switches included. I haven't played around too much with the actuation adjustment, but I like having the option. The rapid trigger mode adds a level of customization I haven’t really used on other boards.

Wireless connectivity works seamlessly across my MBP and Windows machine, and the custom RGB lighting options are great. Using Keychron's web customization and keymapping tool is a great benefit over many of the cheaper boards, where it's almost not worth it to customize.

Overall, this is a thoughtfully designed, feature-rich full-size keyboard from a brand I usually trust, that delivers on both aesthetics and performance. It’s not the cheapest option, but it feels worth every bit for what you get. Certainly recommended and a great value for the price.

The best I have ever had!

So far, I am very pleased with this purchase! The keys are very soft and still produce a satisfying tap. It is very comfortable to type with longer nails, and you don’t have to sacrifice beauty to write a book, let's say! However, it is quite heavy, and if you move it around, it does stay put. SO if you are a person who moves the keyboard around a lot, it could be a tad less comfortable.

Great thonk

Great sound, great connectivity, excellent keyboard.

Got with a matching wood palm rest.

Skeetre

Very nice elegant keyboard with all the features. HE magnetic switches!

This keyboard is so amazing to type on. It feels so smooth. I have recently tried one other hall effect keyboard and it was the smoothest thing I'd typed on until this one. I've looked into HE vs Mechanical, and it seems it's mostly a personal preference or for really high end gamers that need that extra little something to get a leg up on their opponents. I don't game seriously, but for typing, man this thing is amazing. I've only used about an hour and I already can type just as fast with it as I ever have with any other keyboard, using typingtest.com as a reference.

I got it primarily to pair with an Okinos Mirage 6 case that has walnut wood finishing on it. So they pair well together. The escape key and enter key are brown plastic... it would have been nice if they were actually wood pieces, or even matched the side pieces closer, but that's just being nitpicky.

It does look great! Very clean and elegant. Not your typical gaming keyboard, but something with class.

The noise level is not bad at all, I don't think I'd have a problem typing on this late at night and bothering anyone. It definitely has some weight to it too... You could use it to bludgeon someone ;) Not sure if it's like power supplies, but usually the more weight they have, the better the quality is.

I didn't charge the battery at all yet since unpacking it, and connected immediately to bluetooth. It did take 2-3 tries to get it to connect, but once it did, I haven't dropped connectivity once, and it types great. I read others having issues with missing key presses, or random key presses happening, but I haven't had any issues at all. I won't know for quite some time how good the battery life is, but if it doesn't match expectations I'll come back and update my review to let you know.

Another cool thing included, is some extra keys so you can label them for mac or windows, and includes both Windows Key and Alt key, for both sides of the space bar even. Also, they include a standard black enter and esc key, if you prefer those over the brown ones.

Some reviews mentioned issues with the usb cable and having to connect it backwards looped over on itself. I didn't haven't any issues. It fits perfectly. I just connected to see how long the cable is and how it fits on the port, and no problems. There is a usb adapter included, Male USB-A to Male USB-C, which seems kind of odd. I would think they'd have an A to c adapter like most keyboards/mice so you can connect to a usb-c port on your PC/laptop. This one makes it more so you could connect another cable to it as an extension cable. That could be useful, but just seemed odd to me.

Last and maybe least... they include a keycap puller to make it easy to swap the keys the provide you, and a screw driver too, a quick start guide, and a full blown instruction manual.

I didn't test the software, because everything I need to do is able to be done with just the function key and key presses. Change colors, brightness levels, etc. I've mostly used cheap $20-40 keyboards until lately, and now that I've tried HE style keyboards, I don't think I can ever go back to standard or even mechanical keyboards.

I Didn't Think I'd Keep It

I ordered this and another keyboard to feel both and see what I liked more. The other keyboard is amazing and I might end up keeping it as well for the other PC but the sound and feel this one has keeps me coming back for more and makes me look forward to typing. It's got a soft touch to it, the keys feel light but not too much and the sound it makes is a little subdued and not as high pitched as the other mechanical switch keyboard I ordered. It has a "creamy" thocky sound. People have said this feels also like a membrane keyboard and I can see why they would say that but this is much more satisfying to type on then any membrane I've tried. It's full size gives me a number pad, which I use a lot for work yet it doesn't feel like a massive object on my desk. It's software is web based and gives it a wide range of customization and functionality as a productive tool or one that can be used for gaming and even analog controls. I haven't tested Bluetooth connectivity yet but it's nice to know that it's there if I need to pick it up and use it on the iPad or gaming console. Great keyboard and I feel like you get a lot of product for your money. I also bought this with the Keychron silicon wrist rest which goes perfectly with it.

Pretty Amazing Tech

I’m a huge mechanical keyboard fan, but I’m also really interested in Hall effect technology like this keyboard uses. The individual key sensors give you nearly unlimited customization on a per-key basis. While I was reluctant to even try a non-traditional keyboard, I decided to give this one a shot.

The keyboard was nicely packaged and feels premium. The wood accents complement my desk and look great. It’s heavy, solid, and well-built. I use a KVM to switch between Mac and Windows. My previous keyboard used hotkeys for reconfiguring the layout, but this one has a mechanical switch and LED indicators. That makes it much easier to use in a dual-platform setup. I don’t have to guess what mode I’m in. That said, my old keyboard had Mac and Windows modifier labels printed on the same keys, which made switching easier. This one comes with separate keycaps, which are kind of useless to me--I’m obviously not going to swap them every time I change computers.

Once I got my bearings, I tried the online configurator. I like that it uses a website instead of requiring a full app, since it’s one less thing to install. However, to access all the features, you do need to run a small background utility. At first, the site didn’t work at all for me, but it turns out Safari isn’t supported. Once I switched to Edge, everything worked fine.

The configuration site is laid out well and is easy to navigate. It allows way more customization than I need--even per-key tuning. I experimented with the settings just to see what’s possible. When I adjusted the key sensitivity, I was able to dramatically increase the number of key presses per second. It made a noticeable difference and will be great for gaming. That said, I mostly use this for office work and don’t need extreme sensitivity all the time. Still, it’s nice to know that option is there.

Features like "One Key Multiple Commands" were confusing at first, and I couldn’t find any vendor documentation. A Reddit thread finally helped me understand it. Ideally, this should be clearly explained in the configuration tool. I’m still unsure how to set up a few things.

One of the nicest features is the multiple connectivity options: 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or wired. Note that configuration requires a wired connection. I tried all three modes and didn’t notice any lag. Other Bluetooth keyboards I’ve used often go to sleep or delay keypresses, but I didn’t run into that here. Of course, for minimal latency, wired is ideal, but wireless worked just fine too.

In the end, this is a very customizable, high-performance, low-latency keyboard with nearly endless options. It feels premium, and after using it for a few days, I think my typing accuracy has improved. It’ll take some time to set up exactly how you want it, but once you do, it’s an excellent keyboard. Better documentation would really help, but even as it stands, I’m happy with the results.

Excellent keyboard with one glaring issue

First things first, the one major issue I had with this keyboard is the USB C to USB A cord, specifically the length. It's unacceptably short. Wouldn't fit for my first setup which is an executive style desk. It barely made the length with my secondary setup which is what I would call a medium size or standard size dedicated PC desk. For reference, the PC sits on top the executive desk and the other PC is on a stand on the floor. I get that this keyboard is wireless, but still nice to have the option of charging and using at the same time.

On to the positives: I found this keyboard to be very sleek, clean & professional looking. The wood grain accents beautify the keyboard, complimented the style of my executive desk, and is the current trend. As far as function, this keyboard came setup for macOS but with the flick of a side switch and changing out a few included keycaps, it was ready to go for Windows 11 OS. It's a delight to type on: quite/subdued tones, creamy feeling switches, and good actuation. I used the keyboard with a combination of typing and gaming. It wouldn't be my first choice for gaming as I am used to super sensitive switches and this keyboard does not have a volume dial. But for work/typing, oh yeah. This keyboard just feels great. It is a heavier keyboard and for me, required a wrist rest. Backlight/RGB is decent but should be noted, no shine through on keycaps.

Overall, a very stylish keyboard and pleasant typing experience. Additionally, the list price is on point for the features. I would definitely order this style again.

Solid Build, Satisfying Feel, Just Wish It Woke Up Quicker

I have a collection of Hall Effect Keyboards, and from my experience, they're fantastic for gaming but less efficient for productivity. This is the first full size HE keyboard I have owned, and I have to say it feels fantastic to type on for regular/personal use and definitely for gaming as well. It has this nice, subtle bounce to the keystrokes, it is responsive, and it sounds really lovely and not too loud at all.

Visually, I love the aesthetic. The minimalist look with the wood trim give it a more custom and clean feel. It also has some real weight to it, definitely not your basic ABS plastic build but not fully aluminum either. Kind of like a hybrid between Keychron's C and Q/V models. I love the happy medium, personally.

I also love that this keyboard has RGB options which are very easy to navigate at the tip of your fingers. One detail I didn't expect to love but definitely do is the little light up legends near the top right corner. Being able to instantly see whether I'm in Windows or Mac mode, or if Num/Caps lock is on is super clutch. Especially since I have been prone to accidentally hitting the wrong function combo before and thought my keyboard was broken for a second (oops).

Now, for some opportunities. The USB-C port is oddly placed on the left. I am not completely unfamiliar to that design, but like....why? Why do keyboards have this innovation? My desk is set up with the USB switch on the right, so there is some awkward cable placement to consider. Plus, the port design makes it picky with cables which means I can't just grab my go-to mechanical keyboard coiled cable. I mostly use the 2.4GHz dongle, but when I need to plug it in, I actually have it connected to the cable it came with as i plug in the receiver with the 2.4GHz dongle. When I need to have it connected wired however, unraveling the cable is a bit of a hassle and adds unwanted clutter to my desk.

Lastly, waking this keyboard up from sleep mode is kind of a challenge on its own. It's quite the heavy sleeper. Like, you'll press a few keys and or have to turn it off and on before it realizes it's time to get up and go to work. Not sure why this is an issue, but perhaps a design opportunity to consider.

Overall, I have fallen in love with the keyboard despite its qwerks. Definitely a keeper, just wish for some improvement down the line.

Solid Build with a Premium Feel

It feels substantial and well put together, and the finish gives it a high-end appearance. Typing on it is smooth, and the switches respond quickly without needing a ton of pressure. Customization options are a plus if you're into dialing in your experience. The layout might feel a bit crowded if you're used to a more compact board, but everything is easy to reach. Wireless/Bluetooth performance has been solid so far without noticeable lag. Lighting effects are nice, though not quite as bright as some others I've used. It’s definitely on the heavier side

Keychron continues to make AMAZING keyboards

I had a standard wireless K10 a couple years back that I loved, but ended up selling when I was in the process of moving. Was very excited to try this K10 HE out, and it has been amazing. It looks great, and it feels EXTREMELY solid; seriously, it is shockingly heavy, which I am very happy about. Swapping the pre-installed mac keys for win keys was simple (they even include white versions of the esc and enter keys, if you aren't keen on the tan ones). The keys are very quiet, which is a nice change compared to a lot of mechanical keyboards I've used in the past. I haven't had to do any serious remapping or anything, so I haven't tried out the Keychron Launcher yet. And I am always a sucker for RGB lighting effects, and the options on this keyboard do not disappoint. Very very very happy with this keyboard.
