Magic Wand!

I wish I would have heard about this sooner! I wear my hair up daily and the fly aways are embarrassing. This makes my hair stay down all day without feeling greasy or hard like hairspray. It is a natural look and no smell so I don’t have to worry about bothering patients. It is worth every penny and will definitely buy more when I need it. I actually showed my niece today so I could buy her one.

Wave away the wispies

Amazing!!!!! My baby hairs are gone in a flick of that wand. So easy to apply and the hold lasts a long time! Makes me look more polished!

My go to for fly-away and untamed hairs

I love this stuff! It is my go to daily product for taming frizzy hair when pulling my hair back. It works really well for smoothing the spots around my ears. It is like have a little tiny brush. Also for fly aways at the top of my head. There is not greasiness at all, like some of the wax sticks. It goes on nicely, is easy to apply and stays on all day. I have not noticed any smell with it, which is nice. Even though it is a small container it lasts a long time. I have had it for awhile and it has not run out of product yet, I would say it is a good value!

Great Frizz Control for Flyaways

This Kitsch Hair Taming Wand works great for controlling flyaways and frizz. It has a light fragrance, a good consistency, and doesn't leave any sticky residue behind. It helps keep hair smooth throughout the day and is a great value for the money. I highly recommend it.

The package came with no seals! These products need to have a seal so one can tell it has not been used for the health and safety reasons. It is going back

Unbelievable product!

Unbelievable. This product is truly amazing. I was really hesitant because I didn’t want my daughter‘s hair to look oily or greasy and it does exactly what it is meant to do and her hair looks beautiful and shiny and so much better after she uses this as you can see in the pictures her hair still stays soft and this is just the perfect product - it dries quickly, has a light pretty scent and is not sticky. Thank you for a wonderful product!

Great product, terrible brush

The product itself is great but the brush needs to be improved. The hair gets tangled in it and it defeats the purpose of combing and taming the hair.

The actual gel formula is great, it does its job taming flyaways and newborn hairs, while being extremely lightweight, not sticky at all nor greasy, no scent and leaves no residue. Can be worn on untied hair, or when untying after using it it can go back to normal without looking stiff. Please improve the brush!!

it does lay the flyaways down.. we’ll see how long it last throughout the day.. smells a bit like elmers glue.. but doesn’t have a stiffness to it at all, which surprise me

My Honest Opinion

I was genuinely surprised by how well this taming wand works. It does exactly what it claims—it smooths flyaways, tames frizz, and helps lay down baby hairs, especially when your hair is in a bun or slicked-back style. I have a lot of little hairs around my crown and sides (I call it my hair sunflower situation), and this helped create a much more uniform, polished look.

The scent is actually really nice, and I love the spoolie-style brush—it’s similar to a mascara wand and makes application super easy and precise. The formula is gel-like, so it does leave a bit of residue and will slightly harden the hair, but that’s expected and not a deal-breaker for me.

Now for the downside: the amount of product is very small. The bottle is only 9.5 mL, and with regular use, I realistically see this lasting maybe 2–3 weeks. At around $9.59, that comes out to roughly $1 per mL, which is expensive for what is essentially a small amount of hair gel.

It also gets slightly sticky if it gets on your hands, and while it performs well, I can’t justify buying this repeatedly at that price. Honestly, once it’s empty, I’d recommend refilling the container with your own gel and save money. A $5 tub of gel would last way longer.

I like the product, but the cost makes it hard to recommend long-term, which is why it earns three stars. Great to try once—but I wouldn’t keep repurchasing it at this price.

Great quality and easy to use

I use this daily on my daughter’s hair! She has thick, wavy hair and this keeps it all nice and smooth when pulled back into a ponytail. It stays out through even the windiest of outdoor soccer games.

Magic Wand!

I recently moved to the south and the humidity has my little wispies going crazy. This product is like magic! It's not sticky and doesn't dry crusty. I can brush it out and my hair is totally fine, if not smoother. I'm big into clean products and this scans just OK on the Yuka app. It has 1 moderate risk, which is better than most make-up & hair products, but not great. I took off one star for the moderate risk additive. Otherwise this is truly a magic wand!

great for toddlers!

Finally, a solution for toddler flyaways that actually works! I bought the Kitsch Fly Away Stick for Hair specifically for my toddler's wispy, fine hair, and I am absolutely blown away. Her delicate baby hairs constantly pop out, but a quick swipe of this stick tames them instantly. It provides a surprisingly strong hold without feeling heavy or leaving any sticky residue – crucial for sensitive little heads! It's so gentle, easy to use, and quickly gives her ponytails and braids that polished look without the fuss of hairspray. If you're struggling to keep your little one's hair neat, this is your holy grail product. Highly recommend for fellow parents!

Could have been smaller!

I was honestly not the biggest fan of this product. It is like a giant mascara wand which made it easy to apply, and helpful for taming flyaways and frizz, but I did NOT like the scent of this product and felt that it was too large to carry in my purse. It did not seem very functional on the go. I’m normally a fan of kitsch products but this one was a miss for me. It dried quickly, my hair didn’t feel stiff after using it, and I was able to wash my hair afterward without issues. I also did not experience any discomfort or irritation. For me, the scent was the worst part - yuck! For $12, I felt like this product was a fair value, but also probably not a product I’d order again.

helps control any hair on or near the face

If you want the face on or near the face to be more orderly, this is certainly going to be helpful. The gel is not overly greasy, oily or sticky though. It simply cleans up any rough areas like with unwieldy baby hairs or flyaways. It doesn't require a lot to neaten the hairs so I get a lot of good uses out of it.

Excellent, smooth hold! Held up under stage lights and during dance

Works so well! This came at a great time, as our daughter was dancing in the ballet, Beauty & the Beast. She has a l o p e c i a, so several spots where baby hairs are growing back. Lots of wispies on the sides and the back, too! We tried a different brand, and it was pulling other hairs up as we lifted the wand. That was not the case with this one! It also doesn't leave a whitish gray cast like the other either. So, so pleased with it! It tamed all of the wispy hair, including her little sideburn area. It held them during her production, under the stage lights, with zero issue. Would definitely recommend and would order again!

The Kitsch Edge Control Fly Away Hair Tamer Stick was very easy to use with the mascara-like applicator brush. I used this hair tamer stick on my baby hairs and it worked well. It applied clear on my hair and didn't leave any flakes or residue. This works better than hairspray as you can apply it to exactly where you need it without leaving your hair feeling hard.

I use this every time!

It comes in a pack of three taming wands. Wands look like mascara, letting you easily brush through your hair. It works very well in bringing down baby hairs or frizzy strands that stick up. Also great for styling hair and keeping it in place. I only needed to apply a few strokes through my hair, not much is needed to calm the frizz. I didn’t feel like it was greasy or shiny looking after it was on my hair. It lasts a few good hours as long as I’m not in the wind. It’s an amazing hair product.

Baby Hair Tamer

I love this taming wand. It works great in my hair without leaving a greasy or "crunchy" appearance. After having my second baby, I have horrible baby hairs and very light thin hair that is hard to tame. This stuff will last your hair for a whole day as long as you aren’t touching your hair a ton. I am knocking off one star due to the applicator being a little difficult to use compared to other taming wands I’ve used before.

Great product for styling emergencies!

I hadn't really considered that something like this existed before, but it's one of my new favorite things! It's a great tool to have in your bag or pocket for those windy days where your morning styling just doesn't quite hold up the way you want. The wand is pretty long, so it's easy to tame areas that might be a little harder to reach. It doesn't leave any visible residue and doesn't smell, either. It is a little bigger than I thought, but I'm not complaining. Overall, this little pocket styler works great and is helpful to keep on you for styling emergencies!

Great for fine hairs

I love the bristles on this wand, it works great for coating the super fine baby hairs. I tried this on the baby hairs on my forehead and it's a little crunchy after drying, kind of like hairspray, but it definitely holds the hairs in place. It's easy to apply and lasts all day.
