I purchased these 1 year and 6 months ago. They sounded great! No issues with popping, great subwoofer control, excellent volume and clarity. A little heavy on the bass, but not a big deal since it's adjustable with the knob. The LED light was my biggest complaint. At night it's like a flashlight! I put some black duct tape over it. Problem solved.
I used these daily for making and listening to music on my pc without issue, then suddenly the speakers would cut out while the subwoofer kept playing whenever I'd turn the volume over a certain threshold. That indicates overheating of some kind, so I did some troubleshooting. I tried checking my speaker and power connections, plugging into a different outlet, and even peeked inside the subwoofer at the boards which all seemed fine (besides the fact they were COATED in a mess of dried glue. Still, that shouldn't impact anything). The solder connections appeared to be fine.
I am in the process of contacting Klipsch support on their website, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
I'll update once I get a response.
------------------------------
UPDATE: They responded and we diagnosed the issue was the subwoofer failing (likely overheating as suspected, but that wasn't confirmed). As of right now, the subwoofer is on backorder, but from what I understand I still have to pay $90 to replace it even though it's within the 2 year warranty.
----------------------------
FINAL UPDATE:
Turns out computer speakers have a 1 year warranty. I have to buy a new subwoofer in a few months once they're back in stock.
I will not spend another penny on Klipsch.
If you want to rent something for about a year until it breaks, then these are the way to go.

If you like quality sound and you're on a budget just buy it. it's Amazing,
the sound quality is amazing. the bass is rich and deep even at low volumes but not overpowering. with 260 watts it gets very loud. of course, rgb lighting, a remote control would be nice but cost more of course. the cables are longer than most, normally for my setup I need to use extensions to make it work, with this the cords all reached. I would have totally rated this at 5 stars if it were not for one thing, the fact it does not have an on off switch at all, which is kind of upsetting since the ad clearly states that you turn the power nob to turn it off. this is not the case there is no on off switch at all. I shared a pic where the ad clearly states you turn the volume down and that's where the on off is. this is false. so, if you want to shut it off you have to unplug it or put it on a power strip with a switch or switches. for me it's no issue at all because I have my whole system on a cyberpower ups, that I turn off when the pc is not in use, so it cuts the power to it. for some this would be a real pain as it will not turn on or off with the pc or tv and no way to manually turn it off. other than that, I love it, I mean I've been a sound tech for many years, and this really is impressive, crystal-clear highs and deep powerful lows and a nice full midrange. even with no power switch it is so impressive. the fact you can adjust the subwoofer with the turn of the knob is very nice, sometimes you need more bass and sometimes like late at Nite you want less, and this makes it very simple. I would still buy it again. Update: in fact, I bought a second set for my office tv and love it, amazing sound. my only complaint is no way to turn it off other than to just unplug it that I can find.

The best computer speakers I've ever owned.
The Klipsch 2.1 THX Pro Media speakers are the best computer speakers I ever owned. The base module is very powerful!
I have now owned these for nearly 4 years now. I still see no reason to look for a replacement. I know there is a new model out but truthfully I still like this version better. I can't imagine how anyone could find fault with the Pro Media 2.1 especially at this price point!

(Watch video with AirPod pros) Amazing sound quality. Cord length is definitely a plus, can get anywhere it needs to. Easy to setup, looks great for something that came out years ago.
Had a pair of Red Dragon speakers and felt like they weren’t enough, bit the bullet and do not regret it, these sound 10x better. This is exactly what I was missing.
Major Con:
Cannot turn off bright white light(very annoying)
Buzzing when PC is off
Power cord a little short for my liking.

Amazing sound quality!!!!
I been shopping around looking for a good quality speaker system for my gaming pc. At first I had a 12 inch sound bar witch was okay but just wasn’t happy with its sound then I came across this read the reviews and even looked up YouTube videos and boy the reviews were no joke amazing. So I figured what the hell let me try it. And what I hear was the reviews were right this system is amazing. The bass I have half way up because it puts some bass. Great for music and awesome in gaming. If your a fps gamer the sounds of firing a gun can’t get any realistic as it sounds from this set up. Or if your a racing rig and want the realistic sound of your race car. This is the second step of your set up. I been playing need for speed payback and I just love playing at 40% because it sounds like your driving the real car. I highly recommend this for your pc of all sorts.

Powerhouse Speaker System
I'm almost at a loss for words. The sound of this system at the price is a definite bargain. My wife got a new computer and had to take my old speakers from my computer downstairs. Since I'm a avid music lover that was all the excuse I needed to look for some good replacement speakers. Hah. These turned out to be much better than replacements. I saw some of the reviews and read the specs on these speakers and had to go for it. As soon as they arrived, I went downstairs and hooked them up. It only took about 5 minutes and turned them on and was pleasantly surprised. They sound better than my home theater system. Deep clear Bass, clear mid-range and crisp highs even at high volumes. I was playing some music and thought I could turn up the volume since I'm in the basement, but wifey asked if I could turn it down some. I'm like "wow."🤣😂. I love the look of the speakers, the easy setup and definitely the sound quality. The only thing they forgot to include is an on/off button. Other than that, they get a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Shipping and pre-opened box
Package delivered was ripped and battered. Package was re-sealed so I shoulda have recvd a “resale” discount. Few bucks off would be nice. Also, power cable and speaker wires were re-bundled so I can tell the package was opened, re-boxed and returned. After a quick set up and test run, the speakers and subwoofer meet/exceed sound expectations. Volume and subwoofer adjustment knobs are ideal. I would give the seller and product 5 stars if the packaging/box was new and unopened/resealed. Glad it worked out.

Great highs and mids, but sometimes overpowering lows
I replaced an Altec Lansing ADA745 sound system that I was only using the sub, left and right speakers from for my PC. I really loved the balanced sound from that old system, but the speaker connections started to fail and there was an underlying buzz in the sound output. This system is dramatically more powerful, so much so, that the sub needs to be turned down to 25% or less to keep the droning out of my listening experience. Overall, I appreciate the controls on the speaker itself, and the hardwiring of cables directly to the amp that's built into the sub. The speakers have a timeless appearance - with a nostalgic 90's feel but modern enough to complement any desk setup. These speakers are bulkier in width and depth than the ADA745 speakers, but are more squat in height, and therefore more stable. So far quite pleased!

Disappointed over time
The sound quality and loudness of the speakers were great, no complaints there. However upon receiving, there was a thin aux for the speakers that connects to the computer. It was tightly wrapped and as expected, makes a lot of static noise when initially plugged in, and will keep making the noise until it fully stretches. I wouldn't mind if the company simply allowed you to CHANGE that cable, but no, it's hardwired to the back. The noise eventually stops after 2 minutes or so of touching the wire, and I justified it because the speakers sounded good. I was concerned that you couldn't shut off the speakers since there was no power button but I ignored that as well and now regret it. Fast forward a few months and as you can see in the video, my computer is off but there's a throbbing sound coming from the speakers. It's just enough to infuriate you while you're working in your office and I have to unplug each time.
Both issues were EASILY avoidable if Klipsch did two simple things...put in a power button, and allowed the aux cable to be unplugged on both sides. This is seriously disappointing. It's 2024, how can they possibly not have learned the mistakes of other brands over the last 30 years of computer speakers production

Thank the Maker
I blew my old logitech sub/speaker system and spent $90US to replace it with Logitech - Z333, at Bestbuy. DON'T DO THAT! The Z333 are weak, have no dynamic sound and the so called subwoofer is useless.
The Klipsch ProMedia 2.1are superior in every way for only twenty dollars more.
My only complaint is that the white led light CANNOT be turned off and is pretty damned bright. This would drive me crazy if the speakers weren't for my home office.
It's the only reason I didn't give this product five stars.
The product itself feels durable. The quality is adequate for the price.
Don't forget to INSTALL THE STICKY PADS on the bottom of each of the three components.
The sound is great for the price if you're just looking for a set of PC speakers that have enough sound for movies and music and some limited music production.. .again LIMITED MUSIC PRODUCTION. It's a great set to check the sound of your final mixes, if you're into that sort of thing.
CONS: Satellites a bit large for a small office desk, no insulating pads for the satellites or bass cube.
Klipsch earned my trust when I called them about an out-of-warranty failure of a sound bar (Cinema 400) resulted in a quick one-time free replacement. Good business. But...
UPDATE: I was chopping up the box and styrofoam, having decided I was past the infant mortality stage, when... a little bag of stick-on foam feet fell to the floor. Being of the mind that reading instructions for a basic system, I would not have known that they were included. So, even though I still feel these little foamies are insufficient for the bass module, I have stricken my earlier assessment that no feet were provided. While these little foam stickies will work okay for the satellites (I guess) I chose to superglue half-inch thick rubber pads to the bass cube. It was impossible to find a place to put the satellites on my desk in the intended orientation on the metal legs so I removed them and laid them on their sides after placing three self-stick foam pads on one side as shown in my photos. I'm not sure if this would have worked with the much smaller supplied pads because I didn't find them until later. The foam is also a great insulator for sound vibrations, so I'm actually happier with the thicker ones. My last beef is with the white LED on the satellite with the volume and bass controls. It is annoyingly bright! So, I dabbed a little red paint on it (with a shaky hand). Klipsch needs to change that.
As for the sound and controls, I had no problems routing the sound through my Plugable port replicator and the sound is very good, not great. You'll want to keep the bass control backed off at high levels to prevent distortion, but for my listening levels and music genres, it hasn't been detectable. The satellites are awesome for this price point, but this isn't McIntosh. I do find the volume control a bit touchy at times (depends on the volume setting on the computer) but this is hardly a problem. At first blush, I am very satisfied with this purchase and I'll try to remember to update this if things change.

Subwoofer came DOA, but was a pretty easy fix after some googling.
I didn't expect too much for the price paid, I was just wanting a small upgrade from my Pebbles.
When the subwoofer wasn't working (the speakers were), I initially wondered if it was because of RealTek's drivers and if there was some 2.1 setup, or that you'd do 5.1 but remove the 2 back speakers. Nope. 2.1 is just 2, which is stereo. So if you're having issues, because the settings are for stereo is not the problem.
What my problem was, and what a LOT of people seem to end up having as their problem, although many cases probably went unsolved, is that Klipsch does not secure 3 different plugs all that well, namely the main long one that goes from the control board to the sub's output.
The fix was really easy and the only tool required was a screwdriver. I'm not sure if I voided my warranty, I hope not considering how common this apparently is.
I simply unscrewed the 8 outermost screws on the back panels after making sure everything was unplugged from the back and that it was unplugged from the power strip. I carefully removed the back panel, you may have to do some shifting to make sure not to pull on cable cables too tightly. After examining it, I quickly found that the cable from the control panel to the sub's output was unplugged, all I had to do was plug it back in. Then I went ahead and made sure the other cables were secure and replaced the board / panel and screwed it back to secure it and and voilà, was good to go.
I included a picture of the board and the 3 plugs to look out for, although it's almost always the long one for the long cable, probably unplugs during rushed assembly or something.

WOW!!! I can hear it all LOUD & CLEAR. I can feel it too.
I love these! The instructions say to put computer volume to 70% and then adjust volume using the knob. With my computer set, I cannot get the volume knob to full volume because it become way too loud. Yes, it's loud, but not distorted. These little 4 inch drivers are crisp. If I could change one thing about these speakers it would be tone adjustment knobs. I wish there was a way to drop the high end. The fantastic Klipsch tweeter horns are just too good. And this little sub shakes!

Good quality, easy setup, hidden surprise
I have not purchased a new speaker system for a PC in more than a decade, so I was not sure what to expect. Given that the price was only ~$100 at the time I purchased it, I didn’t have super high expectations but figured it was worth the gamble (bc return policy). Not only will I not be returning it, but I am taking the time to suggest this system to anyone who is on the fence about purchasing. It has fantastic sound quality, plenty of speaker wire for cable management, and is as loud as advertised.
Not only this, but my favorite feature… the volume mixer can be remotely mounded from the bookshelf speaker. I was not aware this would be possible (I don’t think they intend for you to do this anyway) and only took a minimum amount of creativity. I was able to use a couple of 3M sticky pads stacked on top of each other and stick it under my desk. I attached a photo for reference
10/10 suggest this system if you want something budget, manageable, and quality. A rare combination these days

Buy from an authorized dealer!
These speakers sound awesome. I bought them to replace an old 5.1 sound system that finally quit working. They sounded great out of the box and I was very happy with them. After about a week, however, the power light started flickering and then went out totally a few days later. The power light is on a gizmo that can be attached under the left or right speaker. It has the volume controls for both the 2 and the .1 speakers. Worried that I had purchased a defective item, and that something else would fail in turn, I called Klipsch. They were very helpful, but....
They will only honor the warranty if the equipment is purchased from a Klipsch authorized seller. The Klipsch customer service dude asked me to check the listing to see who the seller was, and surprise, they weren't an authorized seller!
They sound awesome, but I ended up returning them and repurchasing directly from the manufacturer.
There's nothing to indicate if the seller is an authorized dealer, and if you click on the warranty info, it advises that you contact the manufacturer. (I did all of this follow-up research after my issues.) Who would know that as you're purchasing them?
Also, the speakers are designed to stand on your desk, but they do have a tripod mount underneath. If you'd like to mount them on the wall, which I did, look for a mount for security cameras. The space under the speaker is fairly confined, and the cords for the volume attachment are in there with the mounting screw, so look for something with a small screw connector. I'd link to what I purchased, but as soon as that it's gone it'll be listed under a different name. I attached a screen snip from the speaker mount listing.
And did I mention that they sound awesome?!

WAAAAY better than I had imagined
I was hoping these would be good speakers. They're not. They're GREAT speakers. They sound clear, and the subwoofer does an amazing job. Super simple to setup, took maybe 3 or 4 minutes. They're surprisingly bigger than I thought they would be, which I actually like. I didn't want cheap-looking speakers sitting on my desk. I'd highly recommend these speakers if you're looking for a new or replacement set. The only downside is they don't have Bluetooth. I also discovered today there is no way to turn them off. There's no power button or switch of any kind so they will stay on 24/7 unless you unplug them.

They dont make em like they used to
I purchased a new system to replace my old system. I originally purchased these speakers in 2016 and they have been absolutely amazing until the sub blew out a few days ago. The new system I received has some minor visible revisions which aren't a big deal, however the sound quality is no where near as good and the price is about the same now as it was then. You have to literally turn the sub pass 80% to even hear the bass and it's still very low compared to before. The speakers produce significantly more echo throughout the entire volume range than previous model and the sound is distorted once you go above 35% volume. Unfortunately I didn't peak at the other 1star reviews before buying the new system. Looks like many reviewers who were also just buying a replacement after their previous system died have had a similar experience. Curious to know what they switched to, I would be willing to spend at least 2x what I spent here to get a system with as good or better quality than the previous generation Klipsch ProMedia 2.1. I'm very disappointed with this purchase and will return the system after I get something better. I'm not an audiophile but after this poor experience I'm probably going to end up going down that rabbit hole. I mostly listen to rock but also a variety of hip hop, jazz, and classical music. It works fine for lower volume background music like lofi hip hop and spoken word but a complete disappointment for jamming out.
If you've never experienced the sound quality of the previous generation I can see how you might think these are a good buy because they're still better than any sub $100 desktop speakers I've heard but I'm spoiled now its hard to go back to.
I'll update to let you guys know what system I eventually land on.
Edit: I ended up upgrading to bookshelf speakers with a dedicated sub. Can't recommend my exact setup since it's very expensive around $700 total but it is amazing.

Really nice bass and sound quality is great for price
After opening the box i realized the speaks are actually way bigger then i thought and the sub was a great size but i noticed it had no power switch but they sound awesome for the price some problems are that I wish they had bluetooth and also the quality of the volume controls is off like for example on a pc while playing music it has volume for just spotify then the pc and then the speakers so 3 volume controls i should be able to control my windows volume with the knob, biggest problem is that there is no power button at all you also must connect it into a power surge protector and so you have to get up and disconnect it and everything is a huge pain in the ass especially since it is a computer set so you use it regularly but by sound it is excellent the bass shakes your chair at 50% they reach 85 decibels at 100% it reaches 105 decibels the sub is probably the best part except when your mixing music with bass and you slide it all the way it the sub might have a smell but it’ll be fine( update been great for a while now get compliments about them when people come over)

Very, VERY pleased, but annoyed at a couple minor things
First off the sound quality versus price point can't be beat, well maybe it can, but I'm VERY pleased with the sound. And that was the first reason for this purchase.
I have an isolation mat under the sub and I've gotten it up off the floor as I have a downstairs neighbor and ATM they like me lol.
I had to back way off of the sub as it tended to sound "boomy" to me, but that's ok, I listen to my music through iTunes on a Mac and I can EQ it to my taste.
I must have been listening to, and gotten used to, a ton of distortion through my old speakers (Bestisan powered bookshelf, which were so-so), because these things are quiet, crisp, and clear.
The sound is warm, pleasant, and very well rounded.
I've gone from Al Di Meola, to Bach, to The Clash, to Mozart, to Miles Davis and for computer speakers I'm very impressed!
I can't speak to high volumes as I don't turn them up too loud or for very long, but loud enough...the Klipsche can definitely handle it!
I did experience the "buzzing sound" that others have mentioned, but I can confirm that it was only present when the sound source was switched off.
Once my Mac Mini was turned on they immediately stopped the buzzing. Since they don't have an on/off switch I ran them through a Geeni smart switch which addresses that, and having them off at the end of the day puts my mind at ease.
UPDATE: I have read that these speakers are intended to be left on all the time, so I eliminated the smart switch. To resolve the buzzing when the computer is in sleep mode I turn the volume all the way down and no buzz :)
I've actually never heard of "breaking speakers in", even though I've owned fairly good speakers in the past, but I feel that the speakers are sounding better and better, or I'm just liking them more and more...
There are two things that made me stop and think...
1. There was a California cancer warning sticker on my first order that ended up being DOA...Klipsche made it right and gave me a full refund and I reordered and the second pair was OK and sans sticker. (They also said to keep the DOA set).
2. As another reviewer stated "you can see the power indicator from space", and can you ever!
My solution was to take black electrical take, make a pinhole in it and position it over the LED so I can see just a point of light indicating when they are on, see picture.
They continue to impress me...I don't watch very much TV on my computer but I occasionally watch an episode of The X-files and I'm very pleased.
I also play around at making music. As a near-field type speaker these do well for me, however I'm not very demanding on them and these may not be the right fit for a professional musician.
All-in-all I'm very pleased.
GET THEM NOW!!!
UPDATE:
I'm still very pleased with these speakers, so far so good!
I've watched a bit of TV, Netflix, etc...on my desktop and the sound quality is surprisingly good. When I position myself in a "sweet-spot", which is not hard to do with these guys BTW, the sound from a movie/TV show is pretty spread out and almost surround.
Only thing I'm concerned with is other reviewers have reported units that died after 2 years or so...time will tell I guess.

Headphone Jack is just HORRIBLE! Not an Amp Problem.
Guess what? BTW Tese cost around $40 a couple of years ago!
When I opened it and saw the pod and its design, I immediately fired off an email to support asking if I'd received a fake. The letters were upside down if I placed this flat on my desk! And what are we supposed to mount this on? I demanded. There is nothing included to mount this on I declared!
Well.....after several emails back and forth they directed me to a page with short videos that clarified everything! Mind you, their paper instructions do NOT explain anything and the diagrams were very, very hard to decipher There is zero text accompanying the diagrams. So I would not have figured out the problem based on the paper instructions alone! I'll include a short video showing how it's done.
The subwoofer is big compared to anything I've gotten from Logitech over the years, so has to sit on the floor. That's normal in my experience. The speakers are solid, too. But the headphone jack gave me such a hollow (no bass) sound it was heartbreaking. If I plugged my headset directly into my PC the sound was nice and rich so obviously the pod was to blame. So I emailed them about that and they said it was likely that the amp in the pod was faulty and they were immediately sending me a new replacement pod. Very nice of them to respond so well to me.
But their theory didn't hold water. The pod headphone jack is GARBAGE plain and simple.
Sadly, I had already just purchased a new soundcard to plug my headphones in. I might keep that anyway because the Realtek sound on EVERY single one of many motherboards, some VERY expensive, have been faulty.
Got to give credit to them for replying very quickly to every one of my emails.
As for the weight difference for the Subwoofer, they made adjustments to the material housing the components, not the speaker itself.
But because of the poor sound coming out of the headphone jack I refunded this.

with eq-ing they are great.
i was aware of these i guess from a decade or more ago and pondered buying them but didn't. all I can compare these to is a bose companion 3 system I got from sams back in 2014 or so that was near 300 dollars. i still have them and they still sound great and give my small living room all the sound it needs. after sort of rearranging my office to get these hooked up to a PC and tv I am extremely pleased with them. i keep the satellites about 4 inches from a wall and the subwoofer the same but on a thin rug that is on hardwood floors. great sound but I would say that with some songs / formats an eq of some type helps. i just downloaded some eq trial program for windows and was able to get balanced sound across many genres by doing this. in comparison, the nearly 300 dollar bose companions seem to eq effortlessly...other than that they are both great. when you dial the subwoofer in right it gives great foundation lows. i would say positioning these can go a way in getting the most out of these. i have no hum issues whatsoever with my set.

Received a FAKE - light weight sub with poor bass response
I ordered this Klipsch 2.1 setup because my home theater is almost all Klipsch and I really have grown to love the brand and speaker sound. I wanted something similar for my PC. I’d prefer a 5.1 setup but 2.1 will do. To my surprise, the bass response and volume was pitiful! 60%! Wow! To my happiness, the bass on the Costco purchased unit was WAY better! Only two things could have caused the difference in weight. A revision of the product (no manufacturing date found but there are differences on the rear labeling) OR a fake/fraudulent product. Given the difference in sound, I’d wager the second. Be careful out there when purchasing this!
The Klipsch unit is great - 4 stars - needs an on/off switch, a digital/optical connection and a 5.1 upgrade would be nice.

Klipsch Promedia 2.1 THX
I have been enjoying a Bose Companion Series I for many, many years. In fact it stills works as well as the day I purchased it. However, that systems bass will rattle the walls and although that is great and all, I'm at a point in my musical preference where I want to enjoy and listen to music the way the artists intended it to sound. And not just have thundering bass and having to adjust that knob for every tune. After extensive research, and I mean extensive, I chose this unit. I contacted Klipsch customer service several times and quizzed the different reps I spoke to and asked them not to waste our time with their script but to have an honest conversation. I was impressed by their responses. I read countless reviews and got a couple blogs as well.
With anything electronic there are no guarantees, I recommend purchasing a protection plan to cover any electronic purchases. There will always be some negative reviews on performance and preference not being met. I actually look for those as to me if a product has nothing but stellar reviews its most likely shite.
Had this unit for a month now and stoke is to 11. Absolutely incredible sound comes out of this unit. I hear instruments, sounds, and vocals I've not heard before and every level of sound out of this unit is crystal clear. The bass is exceptional. Clean lows and you can tune it to either rattle the walls or to your preference. I listen to everything from Deep House-Grunge-R.E.M.-STS9-Stick Figure-Deftones. Everything sounds absolutely amazing.
I'm nothing short of impressed by this unit, my only complaint is on me for not purchasing one sooner.
Chose this pic so you can see that the power light is always on. Some are annoyed by this but you can turn your power strip off or just turn it away from you at night.

Unexpected Goodness!
I have had these speakers for a couple months now and I am very happy with the clear sound and adjustable subwoofer.
I had been shopping around for quite some time to find a quality 2.1 desktop system to replace the Polk soundbar I had been using on my desktop. I wanted to physically separate the stereo sound more to make it easier when I'm doing audio production. I was trying to find speakers that would mount on a 1/4" standard mount. I have several clamp on mounts for lights and cameras, and I wanted to use them to keep the speakers off the desk surface. Unable to find what I was looking for, I settled on these Klipsch speakers because they were on the small side for quality speakers.
Pleasant surprise - the stands mounted to the speakers are held in with a 1/4" bolt! These speakers can mount exactly as I wanted!
I was concerned then that I would have to reach to adjust the volume and subwoofer...another nice discovery - the control panel easily removes from the speaker! I now have it mounted under the edge of my desk, using 3M picture hanger strips, right next to my trackball mouse. So easy to reach and adjust volume quickly!
Neither the product description, Klipsch's website, nor the product manual give any indication that the stands and the control panel are removable. Missed opportunity!
Great sound and unexpected options!

Best speakers I ever owned, so far.
This system sounds so good and is the best sounding system I have had so far. This system puts out clear highs and very theater like lows that will raddle your house. Now lets dive into and through the inns and outs of this system. Today we will look at four things, build quality. Second we will look at sound quality, and third we will discuss some problems I was having with my first unit. Fourth, we will take a look at my setup. Lets, discuss the build quality, so first the speakers give a modern feel to the decor of any house. The satalite speakers are very sturdy, and one thing to note is the cover of the speakers are nice, but are also very easy to come off. Another thing is the satellites speakers them self are easy to push in, so be careful not to press against the cone of the speakers. Furthermore, the way the cords are are connected to the one satellite are very good and are easy to hide if you know how. It's important to note there is no on and off switch so you either need a a power strip with a on and off switch. I am using a extension cord that has a switch. Moreover, let's discuss the build quality of subwoofer. The subwoofer is definitely sturdy and does not weigh to much at all. The subwoofer is designed very well to produce deep lows, and in my opinion when watching movies it sounds better than some theaters. Lets move on to the sound quality, for that is the most important attribute of speakers. The sub produces really nice low frequencies especially when watching movies, and I prefer this sub over the lows at the theaters I have been to, so far. When listening to music the sub shines well, and it's not at all like other subs that do not sound as low when listening to music. I have a ten inch sub in the family room and it does not sound as nice as this one. If you enjoy bass that you can feel and really like deep bass this system is for you. Next, let's look at the sound that the satalites produce. First let's take a look at the highs and how they sound with different music. Rap music by Lecrae - blessings, Steven Malcolm, Corey Paul - Pull up sound really good. Pop music and Rock is where the satellites really shine. Lets talk about the mids. The mids help so much balance the highs and lows. Now I will discuss the problems I had with my first unit. After about three days after I got my system the sub woofer stopped working on and off. The music would play out of the satellites, but not the sub. It turns out there was a short in the cable and in the sub itself. It's arriving Wednesday. Finally, I'm using a Bluetooth Receiver,Aluminum Wireless Mini Bluetooth 4.1 Receiver Adapter for 3.5mm AUX for lystening to my moms IPad wirelessly. I have the subwoofer in the corner of my room next to my bed, and the satellites on each side of my bed with the speakers facing inwards toward my ears but angled a little passed my ears. I'm using a ten foot aux cable and
Haiker 2pcs Gold Plated 3.5mm Stereo Jack to 3.5mm Audio Female/female Adapter Connectors.
In conclusion, we looked at the build quality, sound, issues I was having, and the setup I have. If you want something for movies and music this the real deal. God bless you I pray Jesus gives you wisdom and understanding on what to buy. I will be doing a update once my second set a speakers arrive.
Update: I received my second set of speakers, and they work great no problems any more. They sound so good, and before I put them in my room I hooked them up in the family room. They sounded so good, I watched a couple of blue rays and wow never heard such great sound from such small speakers, from a 2.1 setup. In conclusion I'm very happy with these speakers, I'm praying to see if it's wise to buy some for the family room. Even though we have a 5.1 surround sound setup made by Samsung, for these sound five times as good as those. Have a blessed day I'm praying for everyone who reads this. Your awesome and wonderfully made.
Update: I just bought my second set of speakers for my parents house, and they sound better than in my room. Furthermore, I am using them as Home Theater system, and they sound amazing crystal clear highs, tight deep lows. Blue Rays sound outstanding it sounds better than the theater. Music sounds really good, especially rap like from artists Lecrae, Trip Lee, KB, Derick Minor, Tedashii. Finally, if your looking for PC or Home Theater system buy it you will not regret it. God bless you, for you are amazing may Jesus bless you and provide wisdom for your descions.
