Amazing reverb pedal with wide stereo sound. There are some really interesting and beautiful reverb algorithms on this pedal. My favorites are the Tide and Swell, with the Shimmer a close second. Absolutely a great value at the price point. Klowra has some fantastic products. I love what they are doing! This pedal shines with the traditional reverbs effects like Hall, Plate, Spring, Room, and Church. The Hazy, Shimmer, Swell and tide take you to another place. It fits very well on my pedal board. The functionality is incredible. The ramping feature and infinite feature is amazing.

This Klowra Rilum Multi-Head Tape Delay & Modulation Pedal is purely a must for any Electric Guitar player.
The tape echo is very reminiscent of some old vintage guitar amps I used to play with back in the day. I haven't yet begun to explore all the versatile options and variations that can be made with all the synth sounds, chorus effects, or tempo modes. Also, unexplored is hooking this up to 2 different amps for great stereophonic fx since it has stereo output capabilities. So much to explore in so little time. My little video is just the tip of the Rilium iceberg. LOL
Visit the Klowra Store and see all their great products. They are a good value compared to other similar pedals. Although this doesn't matter as much as the sound, but the design is very cool. It comes with a sticker, and 2 acrylic plates with a cool design, but not sure what to use it for.

This pedal definitely lives up to the reputation Klowra has built. Right out of the box, the build quality stands out it feels solid, road ready, and well made, not flimsy or cheap in any way. The artwork is gorgeous too, which honestly just makes it more inspiring to have on the board.
Sound wise, this pedal has a huge range. At lower lag time settings, you can get subtle modulation and flanger like textures, and as you push it further, it opens up into rich, warm tapestyle delays. The multi head behavior adds depth and movement that feels alive rather than static, with just the right amount of randomness and saturation to keep things interesting.
The Tap Tempo, Twisted Tempo, and Ramp controls are where this pedal really shines. You can keep things musical and controlled, or intentionally push it into warped, unstable territory for ambient swells and evolving soundscapes. It rewards experimentation, and the more time you spend with it, the more it gives back.
I also really appreciate the analog dry through and stereo outputs your core tone stays intact, and the pedal sits beautifully in a mix whether you’re running mono or stereo. It can easily function as a straightforward tape delay, but it’s capable of so much more if you want to get weird and creative.
For the price, I’m genuinely impressed. You get a wide variety of usable delay sounds, boutique-level aesthetics, and a sturdy, professional feel without paying boutique prices. Whether you’re chasing classic tape echoes or expansive, experimental textures, this pedal delivers.

Honestly, this could be the best compact stereo reverb on the market right now. Strymon quality - in some cases, better. For example, the shimmer on here is absolutely one of the best, smoothest shimmer tones I've ever heard. The stereo image is wonderful; it is very straightforward, too. No menu diving. Covers a wide range of tones very, very well. You might hear mostly about its capabilities in ambient music, and those comments are true - it excels there - but it also does the classics and the subtle very well.
The build quality is the one thing I was worried about - I had purchased an Alabs Timeslip in the past, and that felt a little cheap with wobbly knobs. Klowra was formed by former Alabs employees who broke off to go in a different direction, and I am glad they did because they totally fixed the build quality issue! These are more solid than some more expensive pedals out there! I'd compare it to Walrus Audio's build quality.
Edit: after a week of playing I noticed a loud hum coming from my pedalboard. I isolated each pedal and found the culprit to be the Klowra Limbo reverb. It is unfortunately too loud to ignore and the pedal will have to be returned.

This pedal looks great and feels great.
Unfortunately, I struggle to get it to sound great. Just okay. There is a lot of hullabaloo about the "shimmer" effect but I just can't hear it, or I can't make it happen. There's a lot of functionality around being able to shift from one tone shape to another but I couldn't figure out how to make that work, either. Maybe you need a (sold separately) expression pedal?
It is a perfectly serviceable combination chorus, flanger, phaser, rotary, etc pedal, but it only does one of those at a time. It's sturdier than a cheap multi-fx pedal you could get for a similar price, so that's nice. But I think I need to read the instruction manual three more times to figure out how to get the advanced features out of it, and the level of overloaded controls and user unfriendliness just has to knock a star off.
Or I'm knocking a star off because of the inconsistency of how strongly the Rate and Depth settings are applied to each major function. Turn them up (70%-80%) on a Flanger or Phaser setting and it's fine, but if you switch over to Chorus it sounds like absolute trash until they're backed down to 30% or so. This means that you need a lot of fiddling between tone switches if you want to use this for more than one "patch" in a show. And after all, the whole point of the pedal is that it can do lots of tricks...it just takes a bit of time to switch between them. Which is just not a luxury I have in most of my shows.

This is a super versatile modulation pedal with a ton of usable effects packed in. You’ve got flanger, filter, phaser, ring, tremolo, rotary, vibe, chorus, and multi-chorus, and the quality across the board is solid. There’s plenty of control too—rate, depth, texture, tone, and mix—so you can shape the sound however you want.
I tried this with a clean 20-watt acoustic amp that has a few built-in effects, but I only stacked it with a little bit of reverb. It paired beautifully. For the demo clip I posted, I had it set to the filter mode. If you’re curious about the tone, the knob positions in my closeup pic are exactly what I used.
The design on this thing is insane. That cosmic swirling tree scene looks hand-drawn and gives the pedal a boutique feel even before you plug it in. It just looks awesome sitting on a board. The ring effect makes this wild little whip sound at the end of each note, which is super fun to mess with and opens up some creative options.
The chorus sounds lush and not overly processed. Everything on here feels thoughtfully tuned, and the layout makes it easy to experiment without getting lost. It runs on a standard 9V power supply and feels well-built all around.
For $130, this is a serious modulation pedal that sounds great, looks amazing, and brings something different to the table. It’s staying in my rotation for sure. Totally recommend this one.

Pretty sure I could spend days messing with this and find all kinds of different tones.
It has your great, standard reverb types, from hall, church, plate, spring...yeah, all the classics are there. And they are great, for sure. But where this thing shines is twisting that knob some more into the Swell, Shimmer, Hazy and Tide territories. I mean, there are some pedals out there that cost a lot more that do this kind of thing. We're talking airy, sci-fi sounds, here. When you're playing notes and it sounds like waves are crashing along with each note, that's pretty wild stuff.
There are sounds in here that I can't get with my multi-effect pedal, and this is a much smaller box than that! It's just a normal sized pedal, but it packs a major whallop!
I really wish I had the ability to test the stereo aspect of this, because I just know it would be SO cool.
The ability to hold the button down and the effect continue without decay and then play over top of that with unaffected notes is just crazy stuff, and I love it!
I would say it is a straightforward pedal, but it functions as so much more. I am already brainstorming ways to incorporate this into my recordings. It's going to be wicked cool!
I'm not sure what all the other swag is, as I can't find a 'packing list' or 'what's in the box' kind of things, but I'm super impressed by the value and little extras.

I was blown away when I first plugged in the Klowra Limbo. The ambience is super clear and lush, none of that digital mud. Switching between the 9 modes with the LED button is fast and easy, and honestly, the Shimmer mode alone makes this pedal worth it. It has a wide dynamic range that really reacts to your playing.
The ramp feature is a nice touch. I can smoothly shift the reverb size in real time using either the footswitch or an expression pedal. Big plus: almost zero hiss.
UPDATE:
After using this pedal for almost two months, I’m very satisfied with the purchase. To my surprise, I actually prefer it over the Source Audio pedal, which used to be my favorite. It excels at creating pristine, mysterious, and expansive ambient soundscapes. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile “Swiss Army knife” reverb pedal for creative and experimental music.

I believe one of the most important things for any guitar player, or any musician for that matter, is to find things that inspire you.
We can all sit there and practice our scales for hours, or jam along with our favorite songs - but when you are experimenting with a new pedal, like this Limbo Reverb pedal, it can really lead you to some great new ideas and sonic directions you would have never gotten to on your own.
For example, I play mostly hard rock. I have a reverb pedal that is in my loop, its on 100% of the time, and I have it in a "hall" mode just to give everything a little natural sounding echo.
Now, this pedal can do regular reverb just fine.. It has your traditional room, plate and spring reverb options... There is a "mix" knob that lets you blend the reverb in with your dry signal, and it sounds great. But this is not where this pedal shines
Once I got down into the "swell" and "hazy" or "shimmer" and "tide" settings, this is where the fun really started... In my opinion, the before mentions effects don't work so great on a distorted channel, but on a clean channel - WOW!!
At one point, my wife even popped her head into the room and said "what is that you are playing?? It sounded like there was more than one of you in here...." The shimmer sound makes it seem like someone on a organ is playing along with you - the "tide" setting can make you feel like you are on the beach just strumming away.. Pretty amazing..
The pedal has so much functionality too... You can hold the main switch down (which is a soft click) to hold a sound, and you can press the LED light to access the secondary functions of the knobs..
I never heard of this brand "Klowra" before, but I am SO GLAD that I got my hands on one. Once I started playing around on this pedal, a good 2 or 3 hours went by and it felt like it was 15 minutes...
If you watch the little video I made, just listen to how much this pedal can add to a very simple sound... I had to put a pick over the LED light because it was too bright for the camera when it was on, but it sounds amazing..
Whether you are looking for some new inspirational sounds, or you just want a versatile reverb to lighten up your tone, give this pedal a try, you won't regret it.

I am a BIG FAN of Klowra pedals. This part of my review is for the Sprout Modulation pedal.
A lot of times when you purchase a modulation pedal, it is a specific chorus pedal, or flanger, or tremolo. this pedal does it all, and then some!
It's such a quality pedal for such a great price. I use a Boss Chorus pedal as my primary chorus, but this Klowra pedal has quickly bumped it out of its spot in my signal chain.
The ability to mix the dry signal in with modulation signal is such a great feature - you can just sprinkle it in so you can hear it a little bit in your tone, or you can go full bore and get some really wacky sounds.
These pedals are a steal at the price they are selling them. They are so inspiring to play around with. And like I said, the fact that you're getting a chorus pedal, a flanger, a phaser, a rotary, a tremolo and MORE - come on.. And Oh yeah, they all sound great!!
