Terrible junk. Brand New Bow will NOT tighten enough. Unusable. Hair way too loose, touches wood.
Please reach out to me to fix this bow or replace it.

I bought this one year ago and have practiced with it four times over the year. It was a little odd when I got it, but I figured it was my first carbon fiber so that might be it. I took it out tonight to play and lo and behold. I cannot loosen or tighten. Don’t even know what happened or how as it was stored correctly. But really disappointed since it’s barely used.

Very bad. Hair falling right after 1st use.

I am a professional violinist and use these bows all the time for outdoor gigs, band gigs, etc. I have bought at least 10 so far. Always great. Cheaper to replace than getting a bow rehair.

Great deal for the money. In the past, if I wanted an inexpensive bow, I bought a Glasser. This is less money, and a far better bow for students. Like most inexpensive bows, it hasn't been treated with rosin yet, so you'll have to treat it well before using. No complaints so far... this is a great bow for students and beginners, and a better choice than many of the cheap bows on the market.

When I used the bow for the first time, it immediately broke. Quality is bad. A waste of money, DO NOT BUY.
Bad quality
it arrived broken
TRUTH
First of all, the bow is too long. It is not for beginners. The horse hair is too loose because the craftsman of this bow is terrible. The maker should have tighten the hair. I truly disappointed with what I received.

I’m sure will eventually break so I am returning it before we even got to use it! Sad! Otherwise sounded nice and is beautiful

I get that the price is low but the expectation is still that the bow arrive with all of its hair. If the damage were any worse the review would be 1 star.

Works what I needed it for

I bought these bows for my school program but I’m going to need to spend more than $30. One arrived broken, two arrived with horse hair already broken. Sending them all back.

It arrived in a ripped plastic bag. It has 1/3 of the hair of our old bow we're trying to replace. Very low quality. Ripped hair is sticking out. Returning right away.
Customer
Arrived so warped it can't be used.

The bow came shipped with 0 padding, no bubble wrap, just a plastic cover in a box. The bow is not any lighter than my current brazil wood bow and I really don't think this is carbon fiber. If it is they should have just left it in its unfinished/unpainted state so we can tell that it's really carbon fiber. It doesn't perform any better than my existing bow, we'll see how long it will last.

I am a beginner violin player. I purchased this bow as a replacement for the Glasser bow which came with the violin I bought. I bought this bow in April of this year, and have been using it since then. I am happy with the way it plays, and the ease of adjustment. Unfortunately, as can be seen in the picture, the winding is beginning to come loose. I tried to contact the manufacturer, but have heard nothing yet. For the price I paid, it will not be worth getting this repaired. Not sure if I would buy this one again.

Well I finally got around to opening this thing. When I pulled it out of the box I noticed some of the strings were broken and one was even trapped under the chipping paint of the bow. It also seems to be absolutely incapable of making sound come from my violin.
This bow is garbage, save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere

Light bow. Well made. Improved my sound GREATLY. I highly recommend this for Beginners, and up. My number one bow right now.

very great quality and worth the money. ive player violin for over 15 years and i love with bow. it came very fast and only had one hair snapped which is common. rosined it up and love it. great gift to motivate a young player with the colored bows. will but again! the color is pretty too.

Carbon Fibre?! 🐃💩 I used it once, and the next time I tightened the bow to use the Bow Stick kinked!
DO NOT BUT THIS BOW!

Less than 2 months old, played 3 or 4 times. Does not seem like the quality of the hair is that great. It was not tight when in the case, so very disappointed with the quality. The bow is fine, the hair, not so much.
The seller has offered to send a new bow. Will update in a few months to see if the previous bow was just a one off.

Purchased with a new cake of rosin. Make sure you apply lots of rosin to your new bow.
I played violin in high school and have picked it up again 15 yrs later using my old bows - and yuck! I sounded awful! The new bow provides a beautiful full tone that restored confidence in my abilities. If you're using an old bow and your tone is dull or shrill, it probably isn't you, get this bow!
I think casual players and beginners will enjoy this bow. It tightens easily and looks nice. Great value. I would buy again. One hair did fall out after a few uses, but I'm not overly concerned, that will happen. Will update if anything changes.

Used for less than 1 hour. I did not over tighten it.

Very good. Beautiful. High quality. Unbelievable. I love it. Thank you so much

Sure it's a cheap bow and I wasn't expecting to be wowed by it, but based on the the reviews I thought I would at least get some use out of it. All of the strings popped out of the bow within 10 minutes of my first use. Complete waste of money. I'm thinking a piece is missing or it's just a defective bow.

This is a cool bow and I got it to get my Jimmy Page on with my old 1968 Telecaster.
It’s light, very affordable and I like the fact you get carbon fiber and you have different colors rather than black.
I’m visually impaired, so the sparkly green is eye catching for myself.
The shipping was quick and easy, and I’m very pleased with the quality and for the price it’s a no brainer and something I’ve always wanted to do, but finally got around to.

In 2019 I said: "I am going back to playing violin and refurbishing my old (from the 1990s) electric violin. The black and silver bow looks great with the woodtone/black violin. The bow itself looks to be good quality and handles very well. It is an excellent replacement for my old bow, which I couldn't get rehaired as it was a "cheap" bow.
Hopefully beginners will have someone to tell them how much time they'll be spending putting rosin on a new bow, and how to do it. As long as they know that, it'd be fine for a beginner."
This year, 2020 -- I bought a second one of these bows as a backup bow with my new violin (Mendini acoustic electric by Cecelio). I really like this bow. Strong, light, and feels good in the hand. I'm no expert player, but I've been playing a long time and have owned 3 other bows and this one is much better than the others I've had.
