Awesome product in the right hands!

If you know what you are doing, this would be a wonderful product and save you a trip to an ear doc. If the wax is too hard, rather than using sharp instruments and risking injury to the ear canal/drum, put a few drops of warm edible oil (olive oil, peanut oil, canola oil etc.) and wait for a while (ideally few hours/overnight) for the wax to soak and get loose. Then work your way through the top edge of the wax and gently dislodge it out. The key is not to push the wax further in, but pry it out by tucking the probe at the edge and scooping it. If you don't get it in a couple of try or it hurts, please don't force your way in and go to nearby urgent care or take an ENT appointment!

Must have for any home!

My son was having frequent ear infections and after having tubes placed, I really wanted to know what was going on inside his ears. Not only does this thing get tons of wax out the right way, I was able to see that one of his tubes fell out and was just hanging inside the ear canal. I was able to quickly make an appointment with the ear doctor to have it removed. If I would’ve stuck a q-tip in there, it could’ve pushed that tube back and damaged his ear drum. I think this camera may have saved my son from painful ear damage.

Useful in ER/Urgent care or at Home

EVER WANTED TO LOOK IN YOUR EAR?!

I really enjoyed using this product to clean my ears and to see what’s inside there. It takes some getting used to for sure and you have to be CaReFuL to not scrape too hard - you might irritate the ear canal. And don’t go too far in. It’s helpful in the Emergency Room setting as well, I wish every ER had this type of device to easily remove stuff from peoples ears! I used it the other day with the doctors permission to remove some wax from a patients ear!

Impressive camera, ok wax removal

4/5 stars overall

The image quality is actually great! I kept hearing a ruffling sound in my ear but it wasn’t persistent/ annoying enough for me to actually go see a doctor. I found out that i had a hair stuck in my ear! Not an ear hair, a price of hair from my head ended up stuck so far in my ear!! (See image below)

I ended up getting it out with this tool (it was kinda hard but then again this tool is for ear wax & not hair!)

As for removing ear wax: the kit comes with multiple blue rubber pieces that are all slightly different textures (for scooping/scraping) that fit over the metal pieces of tool that goes in your ear. It’s very sturdy & the pieces fit good without sliding off the tool. The blue pieces do NOT create skin irritation (if you just use the metal piece it does scrape your skin I do not recommended. They’re easy to clean too.

The kit also comes with separate ear cleaning tools that do NOT attach to the tool. So, you cannot clean with these pieces while using the camera. I would give 5/5 starts if these cleaning pieces actually attached to the piece so you could see while you cleaned. I feel like those pieces would clean better / easier than the blue pieces.

Best Investment Ever! Super Satisfying and Easy to Use!

This ear wax removal kit is hands down the best investment I have ever made! It is super satisfying and actually fun to see the inside of your ear and safely clear out the wax with the built-in camera.

It works perfectly, the camera quality makes a huge difference, and you seriously cannot beat the price. If you’re on the fence, just buy it!

Great product

Great product , I couldn't hear anything from one side of my ear cause of the Q-tip I used . I accidentally push the ear wax in . I was able to remove the build up ear wax . Thanks again

Good camera, lighting and functionality for the price.

The device is great for $10, consider the setting on the camera on the bottom left corner of the screen (only visible when the device is on). For me, the setting indicated for left ear worked best I was in my right ear and vice versa. Overall, great tool for the price. The camera is clear and the light is vibrant, the video I posted shows the tip on my pants, the camera is nice and zoomed in for good visibility. Easy to connect to the free app via the WiFi setting. Once the device is on, I go to WiFi and find the device (kind of like a Bluetooth device, but through WiFi). Then I return to the app and I can see where I’m going. Hope this is helpful.

Excellent product, strongly recommend

Excellent, the silicone cover protects the canal from scratch and the camera works well for me to see my ear canal while picking the wax. You can save the photo or video. Strongly recommend.

Great little camera

Works great! Picture is clear, I can see very well. I love that this kit came with other little tools and replacement silicone tips. I was able to clear out stubborn wax that was bothering my left ear for a while and now I can hear much better. This is sooo much better than using qtips and it’s much safer since you can see what you’re doing.

SAVED ME AN ER TRIP

I cannot rave about this product enough and it just saved me an ER trip and an even bigger freak out!!! I purchased this a few months ago and loved it!! Mine and my husbands ears haven’t been cleaner and we love the satisfaction of knowing they’re fully clean. Today I was spraying an ant infestation on our property where is where I assume I picked this up from. I found and got an ant out of my ear with this!!! I felt and heard it moving around in my ear and it freaked me out!!! Even panicking I was able to quickly connect and get it out within 5 mins!!! Truly a lifesaver!!!

Helpful for identifying a blockage, and for cleaning the non-compacted earwax.

I suddenly lost hearing in one ear and bought this kit to check whether earwax was the cause. The camera was very helpful and allowed me to see that I had a complete compacted earwax blockage, as shown in my video. The included tools weren’t able to remove all of it, but knowing exactly what the problem was made a huge difference. I softened the wax gradually with oil and later removed it using a separate ear-irrigation device. Overall, this was incredibly useful for seeing and identifying the blockage. Though it couldn't remove the heavily compacted wax, it did however clean my other ear that wasn't compacted quite easily.

🚨HAZARD WARNING, READ!!!🚨

Don’t waste your money at the expense of hearing loss because of poor construction. I bought this for wax removal / monitoring my ear infection, i’m not pleased. It says the battery should last an hour and a half… it lasts 10 whole minutes before needing to charge it for a half hour+ just to do another 10. The camera quality is awful. One of the replacement rubber pieces doesnt have a hole to even attach it to the device because it was poorly made, the best attachment of the bunch of course. Oh and the best part… the rubber is so thin that the metal will poke out of it… and because of that i nearly ruptured my eardrum, i hit right next to it and bled A LOT for 2 hours straight. I’m now paranoid every time i use it… but sadly i can’t go without this right now. Will be returning when i heal… if i ever do now. This honestly may have made my infection worse, and i’ve been very careful and trying not to push wax inward… bit hard when it doesnt grip it that great. Maneuvering it is awkward but you do end up getting the hang of it. I’m attaching a video of how the metal pokes out along with the defective rubber replacement core piece. It did this in the first few minutes of using it. No other piece like it to attach, the others are too big and dangerous for what i need it for. Should i have any permanent damage, i will be filing a lawsuit against the company. There should be NO reason to have a sharp metal and thin rubber combo for a product made for something delicate like the inside of your ear.

Gets the job done

Easy to use just like the bebird, I used to have the bebird but lost it somewhere and saw this had a ton of reviews so went ahead and got it. Hadn’t been able to hear out of one ear for a few days, it finally cleared with debrox right before I received this so I tried it in my other ear. Ton of wax. Will use again. Connect to devices WiFi not Bluetooth as an FYI, just don’t let it connect to devices (little sketchy but just say no and it’s fine).

Worth it

So I had a middle ear infection and had a broken eardrum. Thanks to this tool, I could be able to clean my ear. It is so helpful. Easy to use and convenient! The best part is you can take pictures and see what it looks like inside your ear.

HEAR YE, HEAR YE!

Hear, Hear!, after using this product just once my hearing improved a lot. My right ear was losing hearing so I decided to buy this product as soon as I saw a video ad for a similar device on youtube. Anyway, it really cleared out my ear wax and it was fairly easy to use. I was a bit apprehensive at first because I didn't want to bust my ear drum, but I went in slow and monitored my movements with the camera. I was able to hear clearly for the first time in 6 months! Goodbye Q-tips!

I like that its got a camera to record my actions and shows what I have inside my ear canal. The only problem with it, and it's not really a problem, is that it connects via WIFI and not blue tooth. A bit annoying but worth it since it was inexpensive. I just wonder if China has my passwords now. :). Anyway, I have included a video showcasing it. It grossed out my friend, but it was worth is seeing the look on his face.

Want to see how dirty your ears are?

This tool is neat, as someone with small ears that I used to have to thin out a regular qtip or buy the ones for kids, I love this. It’s cool to be able to see the inside of my ear and see how much wax is or isn’t there. The app is pretty intuitive and you can take pictures or videos in the app. The video is from the app. My only key piece of advise is you have to be careful that when you are wiping off the tip that you don’t take off the plastic covering that is meant to protect your ears from trauma. Overall I’m glad I bought it. It’s painless, without noise, extremely portable and comes with extra tips that I honestly still haven’t figured out. Not a necessity but if you are a medical geek with small ears then hey why not.

An Excellent, Simple But Effective Otoscope

I am very impressed with this Leiput Ear Wax Removal Kit (Otoscope). This kit packs a lot of value for the price in a compact package. The handle is slim and easy to hold and maneuver. The kit includes the handle tool with built-in 1080P camera, an assortment of tool tips & manual cleaning tools, USB-C to USB-A charging cable and a detailed instruction manual.

The app was easy to find and download from the Apple App Store. Connecting the tool with the app on my iPhone 13 Pro Max was a breeze. The two connected seamlessly by way of a dedicated wi-fi signal. The app itself is easy to navigate. The interface is simple, clear and user friendly. The app allows the user to switch the orientation to a specific ear, turn the light on/off, take photos and record videos, two modes (horizontal & mirror mode) that changes the live view from tool camera only or a combination of tool camera and selfie view in split screen. There is also a lock feature that prevents any accidental changes. The app also has a useful battery life and time remaining indicator. Mine estimated a 100% charge to equate to 90 minutes of use.

The tool itself was easy to use after a few minutes of adapting orientation and eye-hand coordination. The tool was comfortable to hold in hand as well as inside the ear. The light does emit some heat but not enough to be uncomfortable. The button on the handle serves to capture photos.

I did notice an occasional spike in video signal but not enough for me to warrant taking away any stars considering this is a wireless device. I also have a wired otoscope that does not produce any lag but also lacks the wireless freedom that this device offers.

In conclusion, I am very impressed by the total package and performance this product offers. It is an excellent, simple but effective otoscope at a very reasonable price. It is well worth the money for the self-care of your ears.

Super handy tool

It's black with this cool blue light at the tip, which I'm guessing is super helpful for, you know, seeing inside your ear. It definitely looks high-tech a.

The packaging is also pretty comprehensive. It came with an instruction manual (which I definitely need to read!), a USB charging cable, and a bunch of different-sized ear tips. Plus, there's even a little vial of ear wax removal tips, which is a nice bonus. It seems like they've thought of everything! Easy to connect to you phone

I can finally hear!

This definitely helped me to identify that I had compacted ear wax in my right ear that I wouldn't have known otherwise. A good investment for ear health for sure! The device is a little annoying when trying to connect the camera in the app. If you don't do it perfectly it will not connect. So I recommend opening the app, then powering on the tool, then using the button to connect to the device in your wifi settings. Unfortunately you have to connect this way EVERY time you use it, it doesn't auto connect, at least mine doesn't.

From a chronic Q-tip guy, this is the way

I use Q-tips EVERY single day. Sometimes even multiple times. I love my ears being clean and the sensation, this isn't an A&E show or sum. Anyway, always heard how bad it was, and have had some strange redish discharge from one ear after being exposed to moisture for a little while now. Decided to pick this thing up & was not dissapointed. ALWAYS look at the app ratings on China products like this, because the app makes or breaks the hardware. The app was rated 3.0 so I wasn't too hopeful, but AFTER turning my VPN off I had no issues connecting and starting. The cleaning went well, though honestly there wasn't much to clean in the right ear, I loved to the left (the aforementioned red ear) and found a BIG mf alien blockage thing. It took some time, but I got it out and it felt oh so good. I finished by removing a small black hair from the left, which took some finesse, and cleaned both. I thought my eardrums looked weird/abnormal, but after some Google and YouTube found them to be okay. Overall I'm pretty happy, and will keep using my Q-tips and this thing every few weeks or so. I have chronically tiny canals so it was honestly not very comfortable overall.

THERE SHOULD be a warning on this thing about the skill involved with operating. I'm no doctor, just pretend to be one on TV (not really, that just sounded cool). I doubt the modern brainrot video game boi will have issues, but I wouldn't trust a boomer with all this power (ig the initial setup really solidifies who should & shouldn't be using this).

Take your time and get comfortable with it, the movement is odd & you could seriously damage your ears using this, do not take this lightly. That piece of alien Wax was against my eardrum (and roughly the same size), and it held on tightly, with time and finesse I was able to get it out, but others may have easily punctured their eardrums. DO NOT downplay the amount of power this lil thing contains.

Worked Wonders

I’ve had this pea stuck in my ear before my first child was born. 7-8yrs now. Was such a nuisance. I’ve thanked God just about everyday since this thing was able to help me get it out. Didnt have to pay $250+ just for a consultation from an ENT!

Only thing I didn’t like about the product was the blue pieces. I felt like they were too bulky to properly hook wax so I pulled them off. Using the metal only(personal preference) .Came with a lot of helpful, durable pieces for the price. This should be a must have for everyone.

It works

It was your typical Monday morning. I had planned on leaving earlier to beat the traffic, however I was delayed by my dogs morning dump. He found a new spot and was farting around. I do remember it was abnormally foggy that morning. Much like my left ear had felt a fortnight leading up to this day. I had a hearing test that day. You all know the scene. Uncomfortable hard plastic headphones that have enveloped 348,000 ears before they met yours. Somehow they have UV fading and there aren’t even windows in these vans. We all sit down and take the test. The doctor peels the curtain back and says you all can leave now. She then looks at me and says “except you”. “Can you please hold back for a minute?” My coworkers pass me concerned glances. I’ll admit it here. I was also concerned. She softly but firmly shuts the door. The doctor then proceeds to tell me the eleven words every 37 year old man spends his whole life never wanting to hear. “I think you have a Qtip broken off in your ear..”. I was shocked. I was angry. I was in denial. I went through all the emotions all at once. “It’s ok.”, she said. We will get through this. I thanked her and went on with my day. I was embarrassed. I want to tell you guys; having a qtip broken off in your ear is nothing to be ashamed about. There are dozens of us. I feel fortunate that there exist a product like this to help me extract the foreign object in the privacy of my own Walgreens bathroom. This thing really works. Setup was easy and the whole thing was over before I knew it. I’d like to say the days of me sticking things in my ears are behind me. Who knows. Maybe after a couple of coronas and a warm shower you feel the urge to expel the wax deep within your ear. If you do, don’t buy cheap Qtips. Just spend the extra 2 dollars. Anything worth doing is worth doing right. That’s all I have to say about that.

Will never not own one again

I’ve had this over a year now still going strong. I’ll never not own one of these so long as i live. I’m a waxy person as you can see from the images. I’ve dealt with ear problems my whole life and wax build up and never not what i was supposed to really do about it or knew how bad the issue actually was until i got this thing. Disgusting is an understatement, it was a lake of dark earwax in there and very intensive clean up. There’s a big learning curve and the video was when i first got it because my ears haven’t looked like that since I’ve owned this. I check and clean my ears at least once a week and there is ALWAYS a good chunk needing to come out. You have to get used to positioning and learning which was is which but I’m such a pro at it now i have my ears cleaned out in no time. When i first used it i ended up clogging one ear i think from accidentally pushing wax the wrong way so i ended up using an ear flush since i couldn’t really see or tell what i was doing at first. Just be careful because it is easy to poke that drum so go in slow and steady until you know what you’re doing but overall i will buy this again and again and again til the day I’m no longer it’s been that incredible for me

THE DEVICE YOU NEVER KNEW YOU NEEDED!

I have been very squeamish lately and have avoided products like this since I would be creeped out looking at my eardrum. Well, my left ear was completely clogged up and I couldn’t hear out of it for two weeks! Debrox drops were not helping at all. Well, I was desperate and ran across this device!

Setup was extremely easy. Camera was on and app downloaded in 2 minutes, if not less. It was super easy to manage. Well, I looked in my left ear, the clogged one, and could see like a black wall of funk. I didn’t know what my ear drum looked like so I decided to look into my right ear next. I saw my ear drum, which is opaque and silvery looking (can’t miss it), and a big glob of hard earwax sitting in front of it! You can see it on the wipe in the photo. I used the device and it came out easily. I did a little housekeeping in there and moved to the bad ear. I realized that the wall was earwax and you couldn’t see my eardrum at all! So I got to work! 30 minutes later I took so much gunk out from that ear it was ridiculous. I still need to go back in and finish. I can finally see my ear drum now! But some of my wall of earwax is still there. Not the devices fault at all! It is simply because the earwax was so hard that I irritated the canal a bit from scraping against it and trying to drag/scoop the earwax out. I really should have applied some drops to my ear to soften it up a few times before starting but I was impatient to hear.

Not going to lie, this is a bit addictive if you have enough cleaning to do in there. I was satisfied! I love watching videos like this and I love that you can record your work! I went back and watched the video several times! Did I mention I’m squeamish? Not anymore!

ADVICE: Take your time! It takes a little getting used to to get used to angles etc. I didn’t switch from right ear to left ear, which is an option for the camera view on the app. I kept it on right ear and it worked just fine for me! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! You’ll start to see how you can scoop up the earwax better and can get better camera angles/ a better view inside.

I also recommend to not stay in there for too long. I cleaned for like 45 minutes and I don’t recommend that. Now my ear is a little raw inside. I think you can see a small part starting to get red and irritated after awhile. After 15 minutes I would come back and try again another day.

If the earwax is hard to get, use some ear drops to loosen it up and come back another day. It’s not worth the irritation inside. I just did this yesterday and left it alone but my ear does have a little pain when yawning, etc. so I’ll let it heal for a week or so before I go back in to finish the job. Again, completely my fault since I was so intrigued by cleaning my ears and very impatient.

My earwax in my left ear is right in front of my eardrum if not on top of it a bit. I’m using the drops for awhile to get it to move a little away from it. I don’t want to touch it by accident! I recommend the same!

Afterwards you will hear so much better! Things actually seemed almost too loud for me and I had to get adjusted to the louder sounds. I actually jumped once I cleared a little hole of my impacted ear. Once I’m done I can’t imagine how much louder everything will be again! I now realize I don’t think I’ve been hearing right for a couple of years now and wish I had this earlier!

I recommend this device to everyone! My right ear was clear but there was still a huge glob of dried earwax in there! Just use it and take a look to make sure everything is clear. You won’t regret it!

I normally don’t write reviews but I had to! This is a well-made product! I definitely won’t be sticking Q-tips in my ears anymore and will do some maintenance every few months or so instead. I know you’re not supposed to use them, and I was, so that probably had an effect along with prolonged earphone use!!

For ear cleaner connoisseur!

I have literally probably bought about every item on the market for cleaning ears. You might say I’m a little OCD about them. My doctor literally said I had the cleanest ears she had ever seen and I believe her now comparing my ears to some other videos! Do mine isn’t very exciting in that regard of finding the Holy grail of ear wax but I did find the threshold of how far my previous tools could reach. I’ve always thought that I just want to be able to see inside for myself and now I Can!! However, it definitely takes some getting used to as you can see it but my spatial awareness is very poor. I also used the wrong tool when I finally got to the goods. I should have used a small scoop. I also noticed my ear was getting quite red and sore from repeated use. I feel like a good irrigation after would be very helpful as I’m pretty sure that some chunks went down. However I hear that you aren’t supposed to clean to this level but I was just sure I was going to find something major in there! My hearing has declined and I still don’t know what I’m looking at with the Ear drum. It kind of feels like a game as my phone was dying and you’re trying to get out as much as possible before you have to stop! I can’t wait to do everyone I know!! Oh and there’s no suction, so I’m not sure why that’s a thing!

Just what I’ve been looking for!

If you’re thinking about purchasing this item, do it! Before getting this item, I would use an regular ear scoop tool on my boyfriend’s ears and have him hold a flashlight over his ear so that I could see what I was doing (do not recommend doing this!). I wanted a tool that would allow me to visualize the wax and give me the proper light to remove it safely. This product does just that. The picture that this tool provides is crisp and clear while in the ear canal. As a bonus the kit comes with an 8-piece traditional ear wax tool set and interchangeable silicone pieces to fit over the otoscope. The only thing I would say is the silicone pieces can become loose, sometimes I prefer to just use the otoscope with the original metal piece and be sure to be extra gentle while scraping out the wax! The tools are super easy to clean with an alcohol swab when finished. I would recommend using the tool on another person as doing it on yourself can be difficult to navigate since it reverses the image. Overall, this has left mine and my partners ears feeling squeaky clean and I would definitely recommend purchasing for anyone interested!
