Leitner LH280 Premium Lite Wireless DECT Headset

Absolutely Amazing!

We have purchased a number of other headsets, they never last very long. Our IT support team recommended we try Leitner brand. The LH280 was delivered 4/14/25. It was a bit different for installation so we reached out on the support website. Within 2 hours, a very nice gentleman by the name of Alex called us. He talked us through every step (he is a VERY patient guy :). In a very short period of time, we were conversing over the headset. The microphone is very well designed with the boom to help with sound. The customers come through very clear. When we were shopping for the headset, we were a little hesitant about the cost. As of right now, the customer service overshadows any cost concerns! We are attaching some photos of the packaging. It was packaged very securely. Alex also happened to be the person who packaged it up for us. Please notice the heart sticker that is in photograph #1. Please keep in mind, the photos were taken AFTER we initially opened the package. It was very well taped for the shipment. In photo #2, the inside of the package was the headset box. Very well done! Not to mention, Alex slipped in a handful of treats including Tootsie Rolls!! Thank you, Alex!! In photo #3, we had a few instruction/information information which were very helpful. In summation, we are very happy with the Leitner LH280. We will post an update after we have it for a while.

Amazing sound and easy to use

Exceptional performance and comfort! Over the past few years, the leitner LH280 has truly surpassed my expectations. It's crystal clear sound quality enhances calls experiences! The noise canceling features proves to be a game changer! In terms of comfort the LH280 excels the different choices of ear buds provide the perfect fit allowing extensive wear without discomfort. Additionally the impressive battery life effortlessly powers through long workdays without requiring frequent recharging! The build quality is outstanding! It's users friendly controls are intuitive, facilitating easy adjustments to volume or call muting. Our Office loves how easy it is to speak with the warranty center and how helpful their team is!

Did not fit my ear

I feel the need to acknowledge that this headset is so large, it is difficult to get behind my ear (see pic). Because it doesn't fit behind my ear, I constantly had to reset it, which was distracting during meetings. It fell off quite often. However, the sound is great. I purchased it for the noise-cancelling reviews, as my husband also is often in the room when I am on calls, and it seems to do that well. Also, this is not a bluetooth device, so you cannot use it with your cell-phone. A box plugs into your computer or land-line via a USB plug. So again, works fine, but is too large for my average-sized female ears.

edit: I was able to exchange this model for the over-the-head model. That is not what I originally wanted, but it is much more functional for me and I'm less frustrated throughout the day. Customer service is absolutely amazing. In today's world, I really appreciate the attention to customer satisfaction. Kudos to you guys!

I love my new headsets :) and amazing service

Our office has always ordered from headsets.com they work amazing and I can hear the customers really well. And they make it so easy to order. I got them really fast. It also comes with instructions to get it connected. And it even comes with a qr code with a video of the instructions. But my dumbbell still needed help and they were so helpful when I called them. They made sure I was good to go. Thank you so much :)

POOR QUALITY CONTROL

So, I received this item and the ear piece would not snap together. You can tell, when looking at the back side straight on that the plastic is curving and not molded properly, so it was always snapped together at the bottom but not at the top. For the money this was built like a dollar store item, if not worse. The plastic was all cheap, thin and hard. It was not a comfortable unit. I never hooked it up because it never snapped together, so I did not waste my time.

UPDATE!

First device received was used and really dirty. Extra ear pieces were just in the box as the plastic bags they were in were tore open. I contacted Johnny with customer service who promptly sent a new headset overnight. Package received, device is brand new. Great customer service!

Best wireless headset for work

Been WAH for one year plus. This headset has made it even better! Pricey but worth every penney and excellent customer follow up. Arrived with added bonus of candy!

Wonderful Headset

Wonderful product, the sound quality is excellent, and with it being an ear piece it is very lightweight. The additional earbuds included helped me to find the right size. I would highly recommend this product.

After using this product for a few weeks I still highly recommend it, the only change I would recommend is the mouthpiece to be longer. I have had issues with people hearing me. If it could be a little longer and end closer to the mouth.

This is what all headsets need to model after.

I'm an IT Manager for a mid-size company out of Boise. We have changed over to a new IP phone system that integrates hard phones and softphones on the same DID (phone number). We are using a lot of makes and models of headsets, and the Leitner has quickly become the one my end-users request. It has more functionality and integration to the hard and softphones.

I came across this looking for something that would integrate with our Yealink hard phone and softphone program. This headset allows you to jump between taking calls on the PC (softphone) and hard phone with a quick press of the button on the base. The Leitner is a very comfortable headset if you have to wear it for prolonged periods of time. Unlike a lot of other headsets, we use the Leitner positions most of the weight closer to your head/behind your ear vs. hanging directly off the ear canal. The base is also compact and has an easy to read layout.

Now the 5yr warranty, support number in the box that you get a live person that is an expert on the headset and supporting it to the phone model your trying to pair it with is also a big thumbs up.

Best Over-The-Ear With Changeable Battery Headset On The Market!!!

Love having an over-the-ear headset that I can change the battery. My prior headset from another manufacturer had to be thrown away when battery was 3 years old. What a waste!! I tried both the LH270 and this LH280 from Leitner. I prefer the LH270 for all-day wearing but the LH280 looks better with the over-the-ear style. Both have top quality sound and are easy to set up.
