Plug. Play.

Great so far - I don't notice any problematic latency or any noise at all. The flow arrows are a nice touch to get the signal path routed. = )

I did choose these deliberately in favor of the pivoting jack. It lays nicely against the bout of my Telecaster and is less likely to get damaged in my opinion.

Great unit

Wow, this is awesome. No more tripping over cords. Sound is perfect. Should have bought one years ago.

Excelente Producto.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!

UPDATE

Contacted the manufacturer Lekato and they quickly replaced the unit with a brand new set. Very refreshing experience and HIGHLY recommend this company!

Worked okay for a year. Then, the charging port broke off. Light use. Not good.

Great system at a great price!

I've been using this system for 2 months with NO issues! I use it in our worship team. The battery life has had no problems. I have had no problems with interference or drop out. No latency issues either.I have it on and off from 7am - 1pm. We have and rehearsal and 2 services. I turn it off in between rehearsal and services. Our worship sets often go over 1 hour.

I have recently retired my Lekato system to my studio. One of the other guitarists want to go wireless too. So I bought the Xvive system. It has 4 channels, so there should be no interference issues.

Back to the Lekato. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! If you are on a budget, or just wanna try out a wireless system, this is the one to go with.

Good buy. Works well.

I have used them over a month and some weeks. They really work well. Comes with the charger too. This is worth it. I use it while playing the bass at live shows and in church. Good buy.

Not worth your money

Occasional distortion of signal. After several months the interference got worse. Lekato has not responded to my service request. Quality is a bit iffy. It has mini USB port for charging rather that usb-c. The power switch is difficult to slide. Old technology. I do not recommend these!

Overheated during charging

I used this wireless system for several months and was happy with it. However upon the most recent charge cycle the wiring overheated, and if it wasn't for smoke detection, was about to catch fire. I quickly unplugged and took it outside until it cooled down. The charge it was attached to has never had problems before or after, and the USB cable never had problems before this incident. There must be a short somewhere. Disposing of the entire kit for safety reasons.

PS I sent and incident report to the manufacturer but they did not reply. The apathy makes me even more concerned, so I will never select this brand again.

Red Light Flashing when in ON position

I have had one for my bass for over a year then the issues began. Lekato replaced it and 2 months later almost same issue again. When charging no red light comes on the receiver so you don't know if it's charging. When you turn it on to use, the green light comes on BUT the red light starts flashing. I cannot rely on this to do any live gigs.

Decent unit but will not fit all guitars

This unit seems great for the price. No apparent loss of audio level or interference. I would have kept it & tested it further, but it does not fit one of my guitars. When I tried it on my Ibanez 6 string bass guitar with a recessed jack, it will not insert completely in the opening due to the shape of the unit. This makes it unusable for my purposes since it's not a universal fit. Not sure how it fits other guitars with recessed jacks like Strats.

Ultra low latency, surprisingly good sound.

Pleasantly surprised with the sound quality and latency. I literally do not notice any latency.

Lekato 5.8 GHz Wireless System…. No Complaints!

I use these in my metal band and they have been extremely useful! I don’t notice anything bad about charge, I usually charge them every 2 weeks but that’s just to ease my brain, I’m sure they can go for longer depending on how much you play. Stays in well and sounds very good, hard to beat for the price! I bought a matching case for easier travel to put in my case as well. I’d give these a shot!

Extends really far!

Can play my guitar clear across my house without any interruption to sound quality. Not bulky, sits fairly flush to the guitar. Super sleek design.

Work flawlessly

Great buy. Let start by saying I’ve been playing for over 48yrs and gigging for more than 40 of those. I’ve had experience with many different brands & types of wireless systems. That said, I’ve used these a few times at rehearsals so far. We rehearse in a large room that’s acoustically treated as a live recording room with high ceilings. Didn’t notice any latency, drop out or huge tone loss. At the most I compensated with a slight treble boost, but not a huge one. They lasted the 3+ hours each time and I’ve no doubt they would last the 5hrs claimed. Comes with the dual charge cable, but no wall brick but that’s the norm these days and not a deal breaker. I use the box to transport them in my gig duffle that carries my cables etc. A nice travel case would be a nice accessory, but again, not a deal breaker on these. Our bass player uses a different brand of wireless. There is no conflict or bleed through at all. Plug in, turn on, play every time. I highly recommend this brand/product.

The sound is absolutely horrendous!!! Cuts out and makes funny noises and less than 2 feet away.

It works great!

Everything as advertised. After using for months, I can safely say that it's a good product. It doesn't feel cheap for being mostly plastic. It has some weight to it and it works like a charm. There is no delay and even on short battery. It only cuts off completely when dead. There is a ringing noise when needing another charge. I can typically get 4-5 hours of playtime before charging. Perfect for a live gig or a jam session.

Best money I have spent in awhile

So far I have only tried it at rehearsal and it worked flawlessly. This weekend will be the next level test. For rehearsal I was the only person using wireless. This weekend, 10/14 & 15 2023, there will be 3-4 of us using wireless at the same time. If everything stays connected and sound as good as rehearsal this review will remain up unchanged. If anything is different this weekend I will add an amendment to the review.

Advanced Tech At Work! 🎸👊🏽

Can’t believe how far tech has come with good sounding wireless audio commutations!!! These work flawlessly and sound nice and clear! I haven’t checked the distance, as I actually got them more for in the studio or small room gigs. They charged up super fast and connected immediately!!! 👊🏽🎸👊🏽. Good job, way to go!

Updated Review- Dead battery in Active Pick-up-Review since corrected

I have tried this system on both active and passive type pickups. From Donner to K and K, to Fishman you name it. Supid me forgot to check my battery in my LR Baggs Lyric. When I changed the battery out, worked great. No noticible lag from acoustic to Fishman Loud-box Mini from 10 to 20 ft away. A value and you don't have chords hanging all over the place. No hum/interference noticible.

plug and play

I just got this set up less than a week ago and I've used them 3 times: at a band practice, at a live performance and at home. I play a bass through a Donner in-line tuner into an amp. I'm a big fan of these things, having never tried them before. I have no other set to compare to, so read with that in mind.

Battery Life:

The battery life was not a problem for any of the 3 uses, but none of those events required more than 3 hours of use. After each use, I had them back home and on a charger within a couple of hours. So far, battery life has not been an issue. I only gave 4 stars because I did not run them down to nothing, so I can't say if they last 5 hours (as advertised) or not. If this changes, I'll update my review.

Sound Quality:

I read a review the indicated the user was having some issues with getting levels to behave with their effects. I do not run effects other than a tuner in-line, but that tuner did not have any difficulty capturing my sound, and the sound level entering the amp seemed unaffected. There is, as expected, 0 delay and no noticeable change to my tone.

Range:

I did not need to really push the limits of the range, but out of curiosity I wandered across the room during practice (prolly 20 feet between transmitter and receiver) and suffered no ill-effects.

Use / Directions:

These are very easy to use and come ready-for-use out the box. I literally plugged in and started playing. Switching between the 4 pre-set frequencies is also easy to do, and the series of flashes are an obvious indicator for which sub-freq you're on. The power on/off switches are easy to find by touch, and I found that simply turning one off was enough for my amp to go silent. I did not need to use my tuner as a silence switch if I didn't want to.

Overall, for $50 these are well worth trying. If I could change any aspect of the delivered product it would be a minor change to the packing material. To protect them from being shaken during transport, I am using the shipping packaging: it's shaped foam designed to cradle them. I would suggest a change to that packaging material so the charger can be plugged in while in-place (see photo where I cut a small section out so it would fit). This way, I can plug in the charger cable, set them in the box and plug the other end into a charge-pack during transport. Then, they are charged by the time I get to the next use.

Never Wrong

These things are A-Mazing!! Good bye tangled Cords!

I bought these about 2 months ago and absolutely LOVE THEM! (My neighbors on the other hand...)

I can walk upstairs to my room, about 60 feet away and downstairs into the garage while playing and hearing zero static from the Amp down in the living room. I have only had to charge them for a few hours before going to bed 2 times and get at least 4-6 hours of play each time. My musician friends have already bought their own and feel the same way.

Oh ya! NO MORE HEAPS OF TANGLED CORDS or wondering which one goes to the foot pedal, or guitar, etc.

THIS BUY THIS - acoustic shows and bigger venues tested

We have a boss and this … boss for big shows with electric guitar and this for acoustic shows. Zero latency and zero change to sound. LOVE It !

Negative - no case. Has a switch and has to be turned on and off. Boss is automatic when plugged in turns on and off which is so nice so you don’t forget to turn off.

We bought a second one of this for our bass player in our bigger shows. I will update this review is we have any different feedback than great with that as well.

Good battery life, latency, and sound quality!

The battery life is good, it will last me around 2-3 practice/jam sessions (few hours each) before I have to charge it. So far, I haven’t had the unit cut out at anytime, besides when it’s running low in battery.

I haven’t noticed too much of a sound difference between this and a cable. But it’s an easy plug and play type of deal and I have a good range of walking distance with it too. Overall good product for price.

Awesome but does not fit my Ibanez SR300E

I really like this but it does not fit my Ibanez other than that I highly recommend it!!! I am ordering a Jack extension to see if that will fit in the Ibanez and then I can plug this into that. -

Hosa GPP-290 1/4 inch TRS Female to 1/4 inch TS Male Adapter.

Works mint with my Jackson and my Schecter - to use my wah without a cord on my leg is such a nice luxury after 27 years. I noticed absolutely 0 lag with tapping, slapping or finger plucking…… it’s just like having a long invisible cord what else can I say.

1st one broke after 2 months second one 1 month no customer support

I really like the product, it’s really easy to use and has very decent battery life. Turn on and connect, solid connection. What’s not to like?

My first one died after 2 months just failed to connect I tried resetting, switching channels and nothing worked. Tried to contact lekato but there’s no contact info.

My second one died after a month, it started distorted, first I thought it was my active preamp so I changed out the battery, still distorted I looked for other problems on my bass because I did not think it was the wireless system. Until I change to cable then everything worked, distortion was gone. Then charged the lekato. Still distorted, Hmm!

I don’t gig just use it for practice indoor, technically it should last twice longer than regular use but this is just poorly made internally.

Works great with my Acoustic-Electric guitar's Active Pickup

These Lekato 5.8GHz units really work great! I have to admit I was a bit skeptical of them (especially at the low price point compared to the pro units out there) .. In addition, there is some confusion on which ones actually work with Acoustic-Electric guitars with Active Pickups. I use the LR Baggs "Anthem SL" pickup system w/ 9V battery. This product WORKS PERFECT with no issues. I have played two shows in past couple weeks with these. Both times they performed flawless for the 3.5 hours I was plugged in. I walk around a little bit too.. but did not test at a huge distance. Maybe 20 feet from transmitter and all good. No drop outs, quiet operation, no lag and excellent sound. For my usage they work great and as advertised! I have only had for a couple weeks, So I hope they continue to work great. So far these get a 5 Star rating.

Works great!!

I really think the Lekato wireless guitar system is great, when I first connected to the system I was pleased it played like I was connected to the cable, I would recommend anyone who plays a electric guitar to purchase one of these systems.

It works!

I've used this wireless setup for two 2+ hour rehearsals without charging between. The red battery low light just started blinking. This should get me through gigs with no problem! Also, when I unplug the unit to switch guitars, there is no pop at all. That was a nice surprise. I've used this with Strats, Telecasters, an Ibanez Iceman, and an SG, both with a pedalboard and straight into the amp. Works great! I also tried it between my pedalboard and amp, and that worked fine too. Much better than the old radio transmitter types of units. I don't detect any sound difference between this wireless set and a good cable. Very happy!

The Best value for5.8Ghz wireless Gutiar system

Hello fellow Prime members, Wanted to give a review on great value on 5.8 GHz wireless system made by Lekato's its WS - 50 that I'm using for my gutiar and keyboard to rid myself of all those cords that I always end up tripping over.

I have also found it useful at Family reunions and campfire get-togethers where there's a couple musicians in the group but have no cords we go wireless with a great range up 100ft. with 4 channels back to the amps with the power supply. Playing up to 5 hours.

It's high-quality signal doesn't interfere with old Home wireless phone system broadcasting it 2.4 gigahertz. The WS-50 is super value with price point cannot beat! I should know; I looked this was best coming up with this.... Lekato WS-50 compared to the other 5.8 GHz wireless gutiar systems, it's a steal plus it's got cool shape and UBS cord you charge both units.

Remember, your not limited to gutiars. I use my Lekato WS-50 on my musical keyboard too. Guess any musical with a phono jack transmitted to amp will work.

Prime away and Rock on!
