Versatile Pitch Wizard for Creative Tones!

This pedal does way more than I expected. I figured it’d be a simple pitch shifter, but it’s a total sound-shaping tool. The range of tones you can pull from it is ridiculous—everything from subtle detuning for a chorus-like shimmer to massive octave shifts that throw your sound into completely new territory. The harmony mode is especially cool, adding an almost synth-like doubling effect that thickens up leads or chords in a really musical way. If you stack it with other effects, it gets even crazier.

The detune function is a sleeper hit. It gives that wobbly, slightly out-of-phase modulation that makes clean lines sound way more dynamic. If you push it into deeper pitch shifts, it starts bordering on whammy pedal territory but in a much smaller footprint. You can go from piercing, almost ring-mod-like highs to ultra-deep, subharmonic doom tones just by flipping the settings. The 12-step shift range lets you fine-tune everything to sit exactly where you want in a mix.

For a mini pedal running on 9V, this thing delivers way more than expected. It tracks well, responds dynamically, and fits seamlessly into a pedalboard without taking up unnecessary space. If you’re into weird, experimental textures, extended-range riffing, or just making your guitar sound completely unrecognizable in the best way possible, this is one to grab.

I put together a two-minute demo video running through a bunch of settings—mostly clean with a touch of spring reverb from my Yamaha THR10—so you can hear exactly what this pedal does. Check that out if you want to hear it in action.

All things considered, for around $50, I’d definitely recommend it. It’s versatile, unique, and does things that a lot of pitch shifters in this price range just can’t pull off. Well done, LEKATO!

Simple, solid, and good tone. Does what it does well!

Very straight-forward pedal.

The toggle has three positions: Harmony, Pitch Shift, and Detune.

Harmony - mixes dry signal with pitch-shifted signal evenly.

Pitch Shift - wet signal only

Detune - mixes dry signal with detuned signal evenly

Pitch shift works up and down in semitones (+/-) 1,2,3,5,7,9,12, & 24. (Musically speaking: m2, M2, m3, P4, P5, M6, P8, and P13)

Detune works up and down in increments of 5 cents.

For my purposes, most of these effects are novelty (albeit plenty of fun!) but the detune settings #1 and #2 sound terrific. Again, this is for what I can imagine working with the way I play and the stuff I play. You might have wholly different demands.

All in all, this a great pedal and does exactly what it's supposed to do and sounds good doing it.

A fun pedal that can make cool sounds

Since there are already a lot of demos of this pedal from people using it with a guitar, and since my guitar-playing skills can best be described as cringe, I decided to demo the pedal with a Hi-watt Theramin Echo instead. To my surprise it legitimately shows the effect more than a guitar would. Go figure.

Anyhow, while this pedal may not be the most practical on the board, it can make legitimately productive sounds - especially when combined with other effects. It comes with instructions, but you really don't need them. Just plug it in and run it through the range.

This Lekato pedal is useful and fun

This mini LEKATO Drop Pitch shifter / Harmonizer electric Guitar Pedal was a lot of fun to play with ... but it took a while to figure it out. The functions were hard to understand and the directions weren't very explanatory but for the price, it's a great sounding addition and will make a great addition to any pedal board. Being able to change the pitch of your guitar without using a capo is a great option to have.
