Almost a 5 but a couple of issues

Rufus says this set will work while the receiver is charging. It does not!! When used as a hand held wireless it is very noisy because the mic plug has some play in it. I fixed this by wrapping a small rubber band around the transmitter end behind the mic latch to give it some compression between the mic and the transmitter. (see picture). Maybe a small compressible gasket could help here.

Otherwise it is a great set. Good range and sound quality.

UPDATE: If your Receiver is difficult to reach this device will let you to remotely turn on/off the usb port as needed.

Solid wireless XLR system that gets the job done for small PA setups and quick mobile gigs.

The unboxing was simple. You get the transmitter, receiver, USB-C cable, and manual. Both units feel sturdy for the price point, with a compact build that doesn’t feel cheap. The XLR connectors lock in firmly, and the on-device displays are bright and easy to read.

I tested this at my church, running a condenser mic through a mixer to our PA system. The phantom power worked as advertised, and the 2.4GHz signal stayed clean with no noticeable lag or dropouts, even in a room filled with Wi-Fi interference. It handled dynamic mics just as well. Battery life held up for a few hours of service use, and recharging was quick with USB-C.

One thing to note is that the phantom power isn’t as strong as a dedicated power supply. It works fine for most condenser mics, but if you’re using a mic that needs extra gain, you might find yourself pushing your mixer’s preamps harder than usual.

For small venues, livestream setups, or mobile DJs who need a quick and reliable XLR wireless link, this is a solid budget option. I wouldn’t recommend it for large-scale stage productions, but for local gigs, house of worship, or on-the-go audio setups, it gets the job done.

Strong signal, no interference, super easy to use

This is a fantastic wireless add on for a microphone. The signal is really strong and interference is essentially nonexistent for me when I use it. The range I tested it in was about 30 feet and that worked flawlessly so I’d anticipate it can go a bit further. It’s easy to connect and it also includes a battery level indicator which is nice. I’m truly impressed with the quality for this price. About 20 years ago I used a wireless system for my band and that was 5 times more expensive than this one and didn’t even work as good. Pretty amazing how the technology has gotten so much better and cheaper over the years. I’m going to look into a wireless instrument 1/4 inch option next from Lekato. Lekato products have been a pleasant surprise for me in regards to quality and value and this one is no exception.

decent entry level wireless adapter

The quick: it's a decent entry level device that isn't nearly as noisy as several budget minded options, but comes with some caveats.

My thoughts:

- in the video I mistakingly say I dropped the gain "to" 70%...I mean to say from 70% it's normally at when wired to 60% with this adapter...and it still ended up being just a little hot. So it is nice to have a little extra room in the signal; however...

- there is a bit of a noise floor and a small hiss. The hiss is far more prominent in my monitors then when played say on a phone or more standard consumer speakers, but it is there, and means this isn't as useful as I'd like for the applications I was hoping to use it for...which means I likely won't get as much use out of this as I would hope

- the change of character in sound from wired to this wireless adapter is fairly limited, which is nice. that means you could easily work a better and more natural match to wired recordings

- seems to have a pretty good battery life. I played with it for several hours and it never dropped more than one bar, and it doesn't take very long at all to recharge

- the body is plastic and light...which can also leave it feeling a bit cheap

- no connectivity issues

- the switches do not inspire hopes for longevity

Overall it depends on what you are looking for. Professional level sound for high end use? No. But useful and workable for more budget minded applications? Absolutely. The sound is actually pretty good, and much better than at least two others I have tried that cost more. However, the build quality left me feeling like I had to baby them a bit, so if you can't control how they will be handled, you may want to look for a more sturdy option. While I think these are a good value, in my use case they don't quite work for what I want, so while I wouldn't get them again for myself, I could recommend for anyone on a budget that needs to get a job done without necessarily having the highest sound quality.

Easy to use

This wireless microphone system is easy to use. There are sturdy metal XLR connectors on the transmitter and receiver units. Each unit has a USB-C charging port on the side. A dual charging cable is provided to connect them to a USB charging port or wall charger. The transmitter unit includes a phantom power setting for condenser microphones.

I found the units to be plug and play, and they paired within a few seconds after powering them on. A solid blue light on the end of each unit verifies that they are paired. I have a Tascam condenser mic, so the phantom power was also very handy. They worked well with my mic and recorder. I would recommend this if you are looking for a wireless system.
