LEKATO WS-100 Wireless Guitar System

Would Recommend

I've only had these for a few hours but so far they have been very nice. The packaging was nice and minimalistic in a good way, and the charging case is very cool. The setup was also quite easy, though do note that each piece is marked to indicate which is the transmitter and which is the receiver (I did not notice this at first, I was a bit eager). I don't play gigs so I don't know if I'll be able to speak to these from the environment of an actual show, but using them in my apartment has been very fun so far. The price is good, the sound is good and I haven't noticed any latency. Also it's freeing and a bit novel to be able to walk around and play. Currently I am using these with a Spark 2 amp. The only concern I have is that the transmitter feels a bit bulky compared to a standard angled jack for a cable hooked up to the guitar, but so far it hasn't actually been an issue for me. I may update my review down the line when I have more experience with them, but so far I would definitely recommend to any casual player.

***YOU'VE BEEN WARNED***

***HORRIBLE*** Nothing but a lot of static noise!!! Check the signal light in the pic! My guitar is on the chair!!! I bought these about 2 or so years ago and haven't used them at all because they sound ***HORRIBLE***. I pulled them out this morning because my girlfriend's dog chewed my trs cable, smh ( i left it on the patio last night with my amp when i was playing my guitar). Didn't realize that was the only one i had until i needed sumn, so i pulled these out again. ***STILL HORRIBLE!!!*** I cant even focus on the tone of my guitar because of all of the static. I've tried multiple things to minimize it to no avail. ***YOU'VE BEEN WARNED***

Good enough but not great

These are just okay. They set up easy and do the job alright. My main issue is when plugging into a tube amp you will notice a lot of static, it’s not as noticeable in my positive grid spark 2 or fender mustang but it’s awful plugged into my supro. For low volume playing around the house not a big deal, but if you’re wanting clean clarity with no fuzz I’d spend a little more and get something better. I’ll keep em for the fact that they work as advertised but will probably end up getting a boss or positive grid system for the tube amps.

This things are great

They work just as intended, never felt so free while playing before, battery time is ok and could be better but they pair blazing fast, do not have much noise.

Quit looking, you found the one.

I’m absolutely blown away by how much I like the design and function of these transmitters.

I’d bought some inexpensive wireless cables on Temu a while back. They don’t bend (so the don’t fit half my guitars) and they immediately suck out a ton of tone and output.

These Lekato transmitters sound INCREDIBLE. To my ear I can’t hear a single difference between using these and a cable directly to the amp. There’s no latency, no output drop, no tonal loss. In testing the distance, I walked out of my music room. As soon as I got outside the walls of the room it cut out for an instant, and then came back on and never dropped again.

Between the slick design, low price, and amazing functionality, I can’t recommend these enough.

Great product- not unbreakable, but would you expect it to be?

It is a great product, really works well for me- granted, I only play at home but in that setting at least it sounds as good as a good cable and is sure convenient mobility-wise. Just a warning though- this transmitter tip broke without too much force on it as I had my guitar leaned over while adjusting my strap. I can hardly fault the product, but just figured I'd pass it on. Be mindful and not a dummy like me! 😆

Great way to help reduce the amount of wires

*Edit* reduced to two stars. The receiver doesn't hold a charge and doesn't always charge flwith the case. Completely unreliable at this point, so I can't recommend them

I bought this wireless system to use with my Spark Go amp and it's perfect. The Spark is a really small battery powered amp that's great for travel or to keep on a desk but when I would plug in a standard instrument cable it would constantly knock it over. This is the perfect travel and desktop solution and I haven't had any issues with it. I've also ran it from my guitar to my pedal board and didn't notice any additional noise or latency added when playing but found that I forgot to turn them off a couple of times which drained the battery so I've pretty much relegated it to just using it with the Spark. The only thing that I would take away a half star for is there is no way to select separate channels and even though they advertise that you can have multiple receivers I can't find a compatible receiver to purchase on it's own.

Affordable, trusty and noiseless

Really good unit. Easy to carry and esy to use. Battery life is good. I had a 2.5 hrs show and it was flawless. I'm rating it 4 out of 5 'cuase sometimes signal drops. Be sure the receiver faces the transmitter directly. But for the money, worth it.

Tip: Remember to turn the decives off before charging

No delay!

It works great! No syncing is connected right out of the box! There is now digital delay when playing. I like the way it charger when you put back in the box without having to plug into the wall outlet!

Few applications, all great.

Guitar and amplifier, pedal array to amp and head phone to I rig. Doesnt interfere with other wireless components. Love it!!!

Husband loves it!

Ordered because my husband wanted a newer one to replace the old one he had. He loves it. Says it’s way better than what he had previously.

Works well, but the jack is a bit awkward.

These work really well, and the charging case is a very nice touch.

I found them to be good walking around my house.

I have another set from a different manufacturer, I also have other Lekato products, which I love.

These seemed a little flimsy and light compared to my other set, also since its a 3.5mm jack with a 1/4" screwed in, the connection is long making the transmitter stick out a bit more from the guitar than I would like.

I just reviewed the WS-90, and tested this one at the same time. It's perfect really. Go check that one out for more detailed praise of Lekato, but they are the only budget brand that has the wireless tech figured out. No loss of signal. No interference. Just easy to use and perfect. This is the 4th different set from them and each works perfectly.

I like the case format for these ones, definitely keeps things a bit more organized, and they can't accidentally turn on like others could when tossed in a bag. You can see that these are also useable with an 1/8" jack as well if needed, cool design.

The only concern I have is that when inserting these into the case, it isn't simply a metal to metal contact charge, it is a full usb-c plug that needs to get inserted into the transmitters. Only worried they might potentially go in at a slight angle and bend the thing. But it seems sturdy so far. So until that time, they're still perfect.

For comparison, I own the xvive set and these are equal in functionality. I have used 4 other budget brands and no longer have any of them...because they aren't quite perfect...either loss of signal, noise, etc. Stop looking and debating, Lekato is the brand you should get.

Really awesome product

I love this thing. The best part is the charging box. The slide in and you just plug in the box instead of plugging in both of them like other similar products. They are pretty small and lightweight so it doesn't interfere with playing. The sound is pristine and just like a quality cord. The range is great and this beats using a cord anyday. I love this product!
