This pen works great (if you're having issues make sure your drivers are updated!). Mine came dead but after i charged it, it connected immediately and I did an update and had no issues. I'm using this with the lenovo yoga 7i aura 16in 2026 version and since I ordered from Bestbuy unfortunately, the pen was not included. The pressure sensitivity and tilt work fantastic and is usuable for art. The pen and case are both magnetic to the laptop (sometimes when you magnetize it to the lid when the laptop is active/open it will trick the laptop into thinking you closed the lid which is a bit annoying) and the magnetization seems pretty sturdy, neither have come off when I put my laptop in its sleeve. It also feels comfortable in my hand. I thought from the images the blue would be a lighter color but it's a very dark blue.
For the cons, I think this pen is too expensive for what it is(imo $40-$45 seems like it would be more fair). It charges via USB C (it does NOT come with one but I used my laptop charger) which feels like a very outdated way. I think it should charge wirelessly through the case or not need to charge at all like the ones for drawing tablets(both wacom and lenovo have the technology to do so already). I'm unsure if the nib is replacable but if it is there are no replacement tips in the box (I have had 2 drawing tablets both different brands and they both came with replacement nibs). There is no way to turn this pen off, and I havent had to charge it since I first got it so I dont know how long the battery actually lasts on a full charge. I used the Lenovo pen settings and still don't think the buttons do as they say (they DO work but for me only if I have the hover click setting on) and that is a software/app issue. I also dont like that the buttons aren't on the flat side because they're hard to miss so I just don't use them at all.
So overall, I think this pen WORKS great but it's hard to justify it for $60. For notes it seems too pricey and for art you could buy a good screenless drawing tablet for the same price. I don't regret buying it because I intend to use it for doing art and taking hobby related notes but I also would say maybe wait for a sale if you really want one.

As an upgrade in ergonomics over older, smaller styluses, this pen feels balanced and comfortable in the hand for extended writing or diagramming. However, from a practical design standpoint, it trades seamless convenience for a few notable compromises.
The Good:
> Solid Writing Feel: Pressure response and palm rejection work seamlessly on 2-in-1 screens, offering a smooth glide without feeling too slick.
> Better Grip Size: Full-sized barrel means far less hand fatigue compared to narrow, toothpick-style pens.
The Real-World Drawbacks:
> Zero Out-of-Box Feedback: There is no physical power button or obvious indicator to tell if it's on or charged right out of the box. Unless you dig out a magnifying glass for the micro-print manual, you're left guessing whether it's broken or just dead until you plug in a USB-C cable.
> Weak Magnetic Hold: The magnet is surprisingly weak. It offers zero confidence for everyday carry, and if you leave it attached while sitting on the couch or moving between rooms, expect it to pop off and disappear into a cushion.
> Tethered USB-C Charging: Having to plug a loose stylus into a cable feels like a step backward compared to dedicated internal garage charging. Instead of keeping the pen topped off automatically inside the laptop chassis, you are left managing another separate device to plug in.
> High Risk of Loss: Between the weak external magnetic attachment and the lack of an internal garage, you are almost guaranteed to misplace this pen long before the tip wears out.
Verdict:
> It writes well and fixes the finger-cramp issue of smaller pens, but the external magnet and lack of simple status feedback make it feel more like a cost-cutting compromise than a user-first upgrade. Keep a close eye on where you set it down.

I spent hours troubleshooting this pen only to find out there is no real fix for the biggest flaw: it simply cannot draw clean diagonal lines. No matter what program I use, every diagonal stroke turns into a wiggly mess. As an artist, this makes the pen completely unusable.
It’s incredibly disappointing to buy a “premium” device only to discover it fails at such a basic task. I honestly can’t believe the amount of positive reviews this product has. If you plan on using this pen for art, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.
