I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this microphone, considering I bought it in 2020. To keep it honest, I love it and it's the best mic I've owned so far. I think my favorite feature about it is that it's basically "featureless". What I mean is that it's a bare-bones mic. There are no bells and whistles, no special touch screen or different polar patterns. Out the box, it just works. I really dig the noise level as well. I do Youtube professionally, so good sound quality is important to me, and this mic delivers. It's pretty sensitive at first, but once you play it back through a recording, you realize how much background noise doesn't make it through, yet it picks up my voice and makes it sound crisp and clean.
Setting it up is pretty simple as well. Like I said, it's pretty bare-bones, so it only comes with the mount (which is nice and sturdy), the foam wind screen, and the magnetic pop filter, but honestly I think the few accessories speak for themselves. There's plenty to say about it, but I think I'll leave it at how light it is. I used to have a Blue Yeti, and for anybody out there who knows, that thing is heavy as all hell. It was so heavy that it used to drag down my boom arm. After switching to the 440 Pure, it was a night and day difference. For anyone out there in the market for a microphone, I recommend this one for sure.

Nice beginner microphone
I use it to this day and is a nice looking microphone. Its a good quality microphone with a decent size that functions very well and is versatile for many different purposes. While weighting a small amount.

Worth much more
I've owned an AKG C414 XLII, which is a $1000+ microphone. The LCT 440 Pure reminds me a lot of that microphone. But, I like the Lewitt better. And it's under $300. It has a top end sheen that is not sibilant or harsh in any way. It has a nice, full mid range that emphasizes all the right frequencies for my male tenor voice. It shelves out the perfect amount of lows and lends itself very well to voiceover because of this. I sing and scream in a post hardcore band. I haven't used this mic for screaming, I use a dynamic mic for that. But for cleans, this mic is full, crisp, forward. Everything you could want for singing. My first mic arrived dead, the XLR connection was apparently compromised. Lewitt's customer service got me a replacement in the mail almost immediately. I'm a happy camper.

Doing Voice Over? Get this.
The quality of sound from this mic is fantastic. I learned about it from Booth Junkie. He's a popular Voice Over YouTuber. (Check him out)
There's no discernable noise from the mic itself as it's super quiet. I've had mic's that have self-noise and it's not fun to deal with. The mic itself has a sold feel to it with a good amount of heft. It comes with a pop filter, foam windscreen, and a quality shock mount.
You're going to need phantom power for this so make sure to get an interface or a mixer. Mixers are the less expensive of the two but mixers don't separate mics into different channels. Interfaces do but it's only useful if you need that functionality. It also doesn't come with an XLR cable so you'll need one of those.
Definitely have a listen to this mic on various youtube channels before you buy it and I think you'll find it very impressive.

Crisp and Clear
This mic puts me in the mind of an Audio Technica AT4040 with more air and clarity on the top end. It's definitely thinner sounding than some of my other mics, but my Golden Age pre 73 I'm running it through adds a little bit of weight to the sound. The build quality is solid and the sound is impressive for the price. It has a really clean modern sound to it, crisp high end without the harshness. Looking forward to doing some serious vocal recording with it to get a better impression of what this mic is capable of.

Very clean signal and great sounding
I recorded vocals on two vastly different songs with LEWITT LCT 440 PURE as my first experience. This microphone performed fantastic and the best part is that I did not have to crank the preamp up to get a proper level going into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4. Very clean and strong signal and great sounding compared to the cheapo condenser it replaced.

Good Value for Condenser Mic! Similar Sound to Sennheiser 416
I've been looking for a good value condenser mic to add to our studios. We do voice-over work for commercials and talk radio programs. I don't like the idea of paying $1,000+ for any of the "Big Name' microphone so I was very happy to find the Lewitt 440 Pure. Several of the YouTube reviewers that I trust have rated this mic highly. The comparison with the venerable Sennheiser 416, a highly rated mic for voice over, really got my attention too. I'm also starting to see this mic being using by major podcasters such as Candice Owens and Glenn Beck.
I received the mic about a week ago and immediately put it to the test. I LOVE the sound. A nice warm low end combined with very smooth articulation. Also included is a very solidly built shock mount and several pop filter solutions. The microphone itself is build like a Sherman tank. Solid metal construction and good looking.
Hats off to this company. They've combined an insane amount of quality with a reasonable price tag.
The capsule in this mic is top-notch. The sound and build quality are so good, I am stunned.
I have to keep reminding myself that it's not a Neumann U 47. And it's not - the $15,000 U 47 is a bit more refined, *and it had better be at 55.5x the price of this Lewitt!*
This single-capsule-cardioid-only mic has a bare-bones feature set - no pad, no low cut, no auto-attenuation, etc. However... it just sounds good. DAMN good.
Stellar vocal mic for studio work - voiceovers and opera singing both sound fantastic when this mic is used with a good preamp. Sounds incredible for close-mic on acoustic guitar as well!
This is so much mic for the money, I am still pinching myself to make sure I'm not dreaming.
$270 for a mic at this level of quality is ludicrous... I can't recommend this thing enough!
You can get better microphones, but you are going to pay a LOT more for them.
If you are on a tight budget, this is your poison.

Fantastic mic for V.O. work!
This is one of the best microphones I have ever used, and it easily pairs up against the more pricey industry standards. While I use it primarily for voice over work, it also does a great job at vocals and instruments, and can be used in just about any studio. It has a rich bass response and manages to give a boosted treble without any harshness to the tone. This quickly became my primary VO mic, and I have yet to have any issues with it. It has an incredibly low self noise (7db) and is incredibly sensitive. It will pick up my hard drive disc on my laptop, not to mention the computer's fan if I have them in the same room. I highly recommend the 440 Pure, and can say with certainty that it holds its own against the big names like Neumann and Sennheiser.
