Inconsistent camera quality at best. The video quality goes blurry all the time and i'm constantly having to turn my camera off and back on again. besides that it works fine and the audio is decent. just a shame cause i'm constantly on zoom calls having to turn my camera off and on again

I honestly wasn’t expecting much from this little webcam, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how good it looks once plugged in. The video quality is clear enough for Zoom calls, online classes, or everyday use, and setup was very simple. My laptop camera quality is terrible, so this was a noticeable upgrade right away.
I also like that it clips securely onto the top of the screen and doesn’t feel bulky. The picture looked smoother and brighter than I expected for a budget-friendly webcam. I love how it folds up and is very adjustable.
Overall, this ended up being a great little camera for the price and works well for basic streaming, meetings, and video chats.

Great camera. This Logitech C920x HD Pro Webcam is one of the webcams recommended by the LiveOps community for live training sessions and some client/project requirements. It works great with Vcam.ai background management. I thought I was going to need a partition or "green screen" in my already small space, but now I don't. This camera does not include a privacy cover, so I made one using an old business card. The seller provided excellent order processing and quick shipping. I would recommend this camera and seller.

Just received this week- I work on camera every day as a trainer using Zoom and Teams. While the image quality is good, the camera defaults to a zoomed out, panoramic setting. You have to download the Logitech Capture software to adjust the zoom slider to position yourself in the center of the screen and to be more prominent. For my organization, this required a meeting with IT to grant admin permissions to download. Then I opened Zoom and same thing- I appear small and far away, showing way too much background. So I read online I have to open Zoom, then open the Capture software to have the new settings work. This DOES NOT work for Teams. The online forums provide no updated information either. Why in the world would you program a camera to not automatically work seamlessly with the biggest virtual meeting platforms in the United States? I may have to return and buy an older version.

LOGITECH SUCKS. Be aware, if you buy one of the c920s, they were meant for a foreign market. The bottom of the box says quite clearly that these have a "2-year limited warranty". Well the camera completely crapped out after just over a year. It was not subjected to any abuse, hardly ever used, just put away most of the time. Obviously I looked at the bottom of the box and was elated that it was under warranty and I could get a new one. Long story short, no. Going back and forth endlessly with many different logitech staff the answer is sit on it and rotate. I even posted on the logitech reddit. Guess what? The community logitech reps made nice in the thread, but never helped, never did anything never responded despite giving their email and telling me to send them a message. In short, I'll never buy anything from logitech again. And you shouldn't either. Wretched company.

Ever since I got this web camera, it has been great. I primarily used it for work meetings and calls and it works great! The camera has a 1080 HD camera and looks fantastic; the mic quality is great! I recommend it for personal or work use.
A great feature it has is the activity light that comes on when your camera is active.

It is a very good webcam for the price point, it only offers 1080p 30 fps recording but like, unless you are a streamer or pro video recorder it won't matter, your internet is probably too slow for 4k webcam anyways, 1080p cam saves you some pog bandwith. Anyway the lightning control is mid, but the overall picture and recording quality was decent, way better than sussy grainy laptop webcam

I bought this for work, primarily teams meetings on a windows 11 computer. This is one of those devices that just works. I have used it on windows 10 as well, with no issues. What's cool about it is the built in mic is very good, so I don't have to have a separate microphone for people to hear me. Sometime I do a screen recording, and the software I use shows the mic levels; It appears to do some adjusting because the levels are always good even if I don't talk loudly (honestly not sure if it's the camera or teams but it works great). The video quality is great, no issues at all, and seems to be easy on the network as well. The stand is easy to adjust no matter if you are setting it on your desk or on a monitor like mine is in the pictures. The movement of stand and camera is stiff but smooth, very high quality feeling. I like that it lights up blue when the camera is active, and it's large enough to be easily noticeable. We have quite a few of these at work now, and so far no issues with any of them. It seems that Logitech is getting back to the quality that they used to be, and I like that. They have been a go-to brand for many years, and have been known for great quality for a reasonable price. I recommend this camera.

After using the cam for over a year I can say it’s worth the price but probably won’t last longer than a year. I can no longer use this cam because the piece to mount the cam literally fell out and makes the cam fall of any mount.

I decided to upgrade my old C210 to look good on conference calls. What I didn't expect is that the camera doesn't fit my monitor with the thin bezel. Even the old C210 fitted the monitor pretty good (check the photo). I check all those expensive modern Logitech cameras in the catalog and looks like every one has a huge mount hook. Not sure what they think in the designer's office, I support those designers in Logitech still have CRT monitors there.
I fixed the issue with a piece of Lego (check the photo), then spent extra $60 for a special VESA-mounted shelf and a photo mount (check the photo). Expensive but it will allow me to mount some LED lights as well.
Otherwise the digital video from the camera is pretty good, but I noticed some rare issues with auto-focus when I actively move around the desk. The audio is in stereo, but I am not sure it matters for anyone on the other side of a call.
Work with Linux (Ubuntu 22.04) without any issue.

I received this unit minutes ago. I bought this because I have a like unit that has worked well. I use a tripod mount that allows better camera viewpoints; however, when attaching the camera to the tripod stand I had ready for it, the threaded insert in the camera base pulled out. I replaced the insert pressing it into the base firmly but with the same result.

The camera is fine quality and not the focus of this review. The issue with this product is that some features (resolution, filters) are only accessible via the Logitech G Hub app. Simply put, this app is broken. Google search "Logitech G Hub not working", and you find endless articles, forum posts, and Reddit threads discussing all manner of troubleshooting options involving restarting, reinstalling, deleting files, unplugging devices, etc. These issues seem to appear across different operating systems and devices (PC and Mac).
I will save you the time of going through all these hoops and trying all these methods: they don't work. I've tried them all and get the same issue found in the picture: an app that cannot successfully launch.
If you are planning on using any of the features via the G Hub, please buy another product. If you do not plan to use any of those features, this camera will work fine.

My old camera stopped working just in time for a Zoom meeting. This one is easier to clip onto my monitor, and it's not ~really~ a drawback that because it has a wider angle (no fisheye, though), I've had to tidy up my office a bit for the next Zoom meeting. The picture is clear, and when I move around, it isn't jerky at all. It's plug-and-play, so I didn't have to download anything.

I was a little hesitant to purchase a webcam because of just how many models are on the market. I recently updated my home office and didn't want complex set-ups OR high price points.
I'm happy to say this webcam more than met my expectations. I use a Dell XPS 8940 with Windows 10 Pro -- the webcam plugs into a USB slot and starts working instantly. No fiddling around with drivers or installing new programs. I was stunned when I opened up my video window and saw my face! I was like, "...That's it? It just works right off the bat? Cool!"
I've conducted several Zoom and Google Meet calls since and the audio/video quality has been very consistent. There's the occasional glitch or freeze, sure, but that's to be expected with any webcam (and especially when you have decent-to-average Internet). 95% of the time everything runs without a hitch. ***The only thing I recommend is removing the virtual backgrounds: the webcam's video quality tends to freeze more when it's on.***
If you're on a budget and want a webcam that works immediately and consistently, get this model ASAP.

I've been using a 10 year old MS LifeCam 720p webcam, which has awesome auto light adjustment to give a softer light look automatically no matter what my lighting is. The issue is no software to turn off autofocus. So I picked up this Logitech 1080p thinking it would work better on my Windows 10. Unfortunately, the light adjustment is not good. I'm posting 2 pics showing how much better the MS LifeCam does with making the lighting look very natural and soft compared to what this new Logitech looks like. Settings are identical for each camera. Is there any setting that maybe I'm missing here? This lighting is too harsh and washed out.

We have about a month or so with it. The video quality is clear and no delay or anything similar like that has happened. It takes maybe 1-2 seconds for it to focus on an object your showing and then also when it gets back to trying to focus on oneself. The installation is easy, just connect it via USB to your computer. Hold on to my laptop great as well, I don’t remove it when I close the laptop and it doesn’t fall off. Great product!

Bought two of the 920x webcams to use for work and replace older cams. They work amazingly well and are crystal clear. I had to clean up junk in my background since they showed the whole room (wide angle) in 1080p. Would buy again in a second! I use headsets so didn't test mic. Lens is great though for a $60 cam (made in Vietnam).
Also saw reviews of people mentioning past models had ZEISS lenses. If these were ZEISS, they would be $100+ easy. There is a reason why German ZEISS SLR lens and binoculars cost over $2k.

This was my first time purchasing an external webcam. It was actually cheaper to purchase this one than to have mine repaired. I want sure what to expect, but it is smaller than I thought it would be, works great with zoom, no lag on the audio and I literally took it out the box and plugged into the USB port and it worked. No instructions or set up diagram required. The picture quality is much better than I expected, I'm impressed! If you're like me, not very tech savvy but want a great quality webcam at a affordable price, DEFINITELY buy this one. You will NOT be disappointed. **Camera cover not included. Definitely recommend you get one too.

The camera is amazing. Way better than my MacBook Pro camera, DONT FORGET to go to Logitech site, select the HD camera that looks exactly like it & download the software called “LogiTune” so you can change the settings :) if it won’t refocus, just turn the cam off then back on via whatever you’re streaming it on (zoom, FaceTime, discord, stream) 10/10 recommend for streamers. I did get a mount separately that comes in later (so I can change the angle if you don’t want it just on top of your monitor/computer)

I also bought a 6 foot USB extension to add to the 5 foot USB cable that is attached to this unit. I tested its features on Zoom but I'm sure it'll work as well using Teams, Skype or any other similar program. The field of view is fairly wide and the image is very clear. The unit fits and adjusts for up and down angle very easily on a 25.5-inch ASUS monitor. The mounting design of this webcam makes it very adjustable for different thicknesses and sizes of monitors.
I made a crude but effective sliding lens cover out of a chunk of polyethylene I had in the garage.
This is a very good webcam for money and quality is as expected by Logitech.

I'm using this with my 27" iMac and this is a huge upgrade from the built in iSight camera in every way.
The picture quality is fantastic.
The lighting on it is wonderful. Even without my office light on, people can see me tons better.
I love how it has grippy feet that sits on my monitor without any adhesive. It's nice being able to pick it up and move it around. Especially when I'm gonna use my whiteboard.
I've heard people say this is the best one, better than the "upgraded" Logi cam. They're right, this one is the shizzz.
