Mic review

Nice little Mike. I would recommend I use it for streaming on twitch it’s plug-in play so you don’t have to worry about any complicated set up.

cheap and a great christmas present:)

plug and play love the look of it and how cheap it was. didnt like that i had to go into the logitech app to turn the mic down it was really loud at first. other than that its great!

World's Largest Desktop Microphone

I haven't actually plugged the thing in yet. When I do I will edit this review to include information about functionality, compatibility, voice quality, ease of use, etc. But I thought what I'm about to write is important enough to say right away.

THIS MICROPHONE IS HUGE!

This thing measures 8 inches tall, and the sphere is 3.5 inches in diameter. The included tripod stand has a foot spread of 4.25 inches (think of a equilateral triangle with sides of 4.25 inches, and each foot sets at a point). This means the stand consumes 20 square inches of desk space. This is literally the largest desktop mic I've seen in 25 years of computing. As you can see by the photo, there's no way I'm going to put it between my monitor and my keyboard, as it obscures the screen. So I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it.

The tripod can be removed from the microphone, but the manufacturer missed an opportunity by not making the vertical stalk of the tripod removable so that the microphone could be set lower. With this type of mounting though, the tripod can be removed and the microphone can be affixed to a standard photography tripod. I'm not sure what good that would do a desktop user, but this microphone is looking more and more like it would be best suited to studio work.

The materials look top-notch, the structure is solid, and workmanship is superb. It is a beautiful item.

I only assigned three stars because I haven't heard this microphone yet, I'll add that information shortly.

Great starter mic for streaming!!

I use this for streaming on twitch.

The recording quality is amazing. My voice is clear and I can be heard a lot better.

The cord is pretty long and uses USB A (PC) to USB C (G Yeti) connections.

Functions really well. You can adjust it however you want in the Logitech G Hug software and add effects.

Definitely worth the value as a starter mic. It's pretty high quality and looks it as well.

It picks up your voice pretty fast as well even the smallest of sounds you make.

Sent Used or Returned Mic?

I received my mic today and was excited to test it out but I am not sure if it will even work, as the box is beyond belief and non of the parts of the actually secure in place. I will asking for a refund.

Great desk mic

good mic, everyone says it's sounds sharp & clear. no mute button though. cord is a decent length & it's very lightweight.

Super adjustable, high clarity mic

Affordable, high-clarity mic (with proper tuning) using the Logitech G Hub. I purchased this as a replacement for my headset. It can be mounted on a mic arm or using the tripod it comes with. It has several fun sound effects making it great for streaming, natural full tone, and decent noise canceling once it's adjusted. The only complaint is that the usb-c connector on the back of the mic stick out pretty far which may cause the connection to become loose over time. I purchased a 90° connector and that worked great.

Everyone is clearer & better sounding w this mic !

Purchased this & very satisfied with it.

It installs as soon as the USB cable is plugged in and works very well.

The illuminated color logo is cool also.

The included download of the GHub software has many settings to adjust sensitivity, make sample recordings, adjust bass, and other sound qualities and make your voice sound better, clearer and more impressive to anyone you communicate with on Voice, Zoom, Teams, Webex or podcasts and TikTok.

Great compact mic with a punch

I was looking for a replacement mic and picked this up. I am actually shocked by the sound quality. I was able to plug and play right out of the box without having to touch any settings and it sounded good. I’m sure you can get even better quality out of the sound if you tweak the settings. Also the rgb light is really cool and you can adjust that as well in the software. I highly recommend this microphone. Definitely a great quality for the price. I would have paid twice the amount for it. And it’s super light and easy to move if you record podcast or anything on the go

Tiny Beast!

the Logitech G Yeti Orb mic is a tiny beast! it rocks a unique shape that might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I find it very cute and unique. despite its small size, it packs a punch in the audio department. the sound quality is top notch, making it a go to for beginner creators and gamers on a budget. if you can get past the quirky shape, the Yeti Orb is a small wonder that’s worth it!

one cool feature of the Logitech G Yeti Orb is that you can customize the color of its logo using the Logitech G Hub app. it’s like having your own personal light show! you can choose any color that suits your vibe or matches your setup. this adds a fun and personalized touch to the mic, letting you make it uniquely yours.
